Cool bunch of guys here. No lumper charges and yes you can unload it yourself so no need to complain about how long it takes. I was 8n and out in about 30 minutes. I only gave them four stars because they allow trucks to park and sleep right where we need to back up and they get in the way. Plenty of parking on the street. Still manageable though.

Pasadena Fire Dept. Station 31 – Menu with Prices – 135 S Fair Oaks Ave, Pasadena

Dropped in on our way back from the park and these guys couldn’t be nicer! Opened their doors and showed my son all around the trucks and were super friendly to him. Gave him a sticker and took a quick EKG so he could have a printout of his heart rhythm. Stay safe guys!

Westgate Entertainment District – Menu with Prices – 6751 N Sunset Blvd, Glendale

The traffic here and lack of signs for parking is insane. Came for the first home game of the season for the Coyotes; so I was definitely expecting some traffic but not the absolute nightmare that ensued for FORTY FIVE minutes. We couldn’t even pull into Westgate for 20 of that because the 4 way intersections surrounding Westgate have the worst light system. If you’re trying to take a left turn into there, DON’T. Because all the people turning right or going straight jam up so bad that when you get the left turn arrow you can’t even turn because everything is so backed up. We just sat in our car in disbelief of the absolute cluster fuck. I even said to my fiancé that maybe we should just park across the street and then walk but at that point we were already committed. You’d think it would get better when you get into Westgate but it just gets worse. People walking everywhere so you can’t even move and the people that are supposed to be directing traffic were just standing there doing nothing. There are no signs saying park here, or parking lot full. And there were so many entrances to parking lots that were blocked off for no apparent reason because I could see open parking spaces. Finally after we had already missed 20 minutes of the hockey game, we pulled into a parking lot using the exit side when a lady comes up screaming saying the lot was full even though we could see spaces. At this point we are incredibly frustrated and just said “well where the heck should we park, we’ve been driving for 45 minutes?!” The lady said they were directing everyone to park across the street. So why even let people enter Westgate to just tell them they wasted 40 minutes of their time? There were no signs saying that and no one was directing anyone so we just gave the lady a $20 which I’m sure she just pocketed for herself and pulled into one of the many available spots. Crazy you can’t come here to enjoy a cocktail for 30 minutes before a game because you’ll be spending that time in your car. Will be avoiding Westgate when I can and will ALWAYS park across the street from now on.

Bella’s Cravings – Menu with Prices – 625 NE Killingsworth St, Portland

Excellent quality Mediterranean dishes served in an “upscale” food truck park. My Shish Kabob was nicely spiced (albeit slightly over salted) and our other dishes were quite flavorful. Food trucks are all the rage in Portland and the food truck parks are upscaling themselves to create a more park-like picnic ambiance to distinguish themselves. Bella’s Cravings is in one of the better parks with nice wooden pavilions for covered eating spaces. The truck itself is also quite artistically decorated. I’m amused by the numerous 5-star gushing the food trucks are showered with, as if they were Michelin rated restaurants. Bella’s Cravings is one of the better food trucks, yet I debated between 3 and 4 stars. I heard several customers being told that their orders wouldn’t be complete because the kitchen had run out of certain items. My order took close to 40 minutes to complete when I was told 15 (makes it a pain to order from multiple food trucks for a group). The food is quite good, but you’re still walking up to a counter to order and eating at an outdoor picnic table (and bussing your own table – not sure why they have a tip space on the receipt).

Memphis Food Truck Park – Menu with Prices – 3803 Winchester Rd, Memphis

Came here for lunch with my husband, since we work in the New Getwell/Air Park area. The venue itself is great!!! They also seem to attract some regulars and a good variety of trucks. Today there are five options. Your experience will really be defined by the food trucks that are there, though. I am having a great time — I got my food from Stanley’s Sweet Street Treats and got it quickly and it was great food. We have been here nearly 25 minutes, and my husband has a 45 min lunch break and is getting nervous because McKnight’s European Cuisine hasn’t called his number yet. Choose your food truck wisely, and follow your nose! I’m really excited to have this option now, though, instead of just having to go down to Shelby Drive for fast food all the time.

Sessions Music Hall – Menu with Prices – 44 W 7th Ave, Eugene

Anytime I would say, “I haven’t been to the Hi-Fi yet,” people would look at me like I was crazy. Well I finally went for a show and got the full experience. The show was in the larger room with it’s own bar and while the bar area was fun it kind of sucked that it was behind the stage. The people spending the most money can’t even take their drinks to watch the show. The sound was great and there’s not a bad view from the dance floor. The staff were friendly, especially the bouncer at the door. I was super bummed out to find that the outdoor area with the fire and tables was only for the other side of the venue. We were paying a lot for our tickets and were only able to stand in the parking lot. I don’t understand why there isn’t a nice outdoor area for the other side of the venue or some way to share the outdoor space with someone who lets you back in to your correct show. Besides that, it was a fun night and food trucks park here for lunch and during shows. If you can’t find street parking there is a large parking structure across the street.

Nomadic Eats – Menu with Prices – 9 E Gregory St, Pensacola

By my estimate, I’ve visited roughly a hundred food trucks (and trailers) in dozens of cities throughout the U.S., and Nomadic Eats is without a question my favorite food truck. Even considering my dining experiences at countless hipster-foodie trucks in Portland, Oregon (food truck heaven, if there is such a thing), my regular visits to Nomadic Eats top them all. There’s a reason why almost 100% of the reviews already posted here are 5 stars. Despite the descriptor “fusion” having crossed the threshold of overuse long ago, Nomadic Eat’s version of kitchen-bashing different cultures is perfect. All the ingredients are individually recognizable, but the masterful blend of these ingredients makes for uniquely flavorful combinations. Everything on the menu is amazing. The downside of living in Pensacola (vs. the numerous cities throughout the world that I’ve called home over the years) is that I can count on two hands the options for great meals in this city. The upside is that the best food truck in the nation is right here â?? and throughout the year, the weather is agreeable enough that we can pick up our meal here and walk across the street to the dog-friendly park, where there are plenty of benches and grassy spots to enjoy our meal.

Vancouver Farmers Market – Menu with Prices – 605 Esther St, Vancouver

Fantastic farmer’s market! They are open both Saturdays (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) & Sundays (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) mid-March through later in October each year (2019 it runs March 16 – October 27). They have a great variety of vendors and products ranging from produce (of course!), nurseries for plants/shrubs/trees, florists (positively gorgeous huge bouquets for as little at $10!), bakeries, sauces, jams, honey, pickles, olives, cheeses, meats, teas, candy, arts/crafts, jewelry, wood crafts, balloon artists, a couple food trucks and other food made-to-order options if you want to grab breakfast, lunch or a snack while you are there. This was our first time there as we recently moved to the area and with it being only their second weekend open for the season we were impressed with how many vendors were there and I know there are more coming as the season continues based on the info on their website. Speaking of their website, it is great with iInfo on each vendor and an interactive map, too. All the vendors were very nice and every food-related vendor we encountered had free samples so you can try before you buy. They are located in the streets which are closed off for the market around Esther Short Park so even it is rained recently it’s not bad since the vendors are on the paved streets (at least when we were there nothing was in the grassy sections). There is plenty of free street parking throughout the area and they also have a paid lot for the market that just charges a donation (I think it is up to you how much to pay). There are public restroom facilities in the park where they are located (but no soap in the bathroom as far as I could tell, so maybe bring hand sanitizer…it’s possible they may have had a hand sanitizer dispenser that I missed). They also have an ATM on site but many vendors take credit cards, too. Price ranges varied depending on the product but were reasonable and in-line with other farmer’s markets.

Dilly’s Seafood Truck at Celebration Park – Menu with Prices – 2880 Becca Ave, Naples

My family and I were on vacation in Naples and were returning hungry from a long day on the beach when found Celebration Park online. The food truck park sounded like the perfect place for a bunch of hungry foodies to eat. I have been to many food truck parks and there is no comparison to this park. The park has a beautifully well-designed layout with a lovely, artistic, and somewhat romantic ambiance. The Food trucks lined-up to the right and left of a walkway that leads to a huge outdoor bar. The bar overlooks the water and overhead is a remarkable piece of art that provides you with shade. The use of natural surroundings and artwork displayed throughout the park and tables gave it that extra good feel, not to mention the live entertainment that was playing at the bar. The bar was crowded but the bartender was quick to serve us. The park was large enough to allow us to walk around comfortably. The grounds and bathrooms were nice and clean. There was plenty of seating but we were lucky to grab a seat near the bay where we later caught a perfect view of an amazing sunset on the water!. Now for the best part. There was about 9-10 food trucks to choose from and a restaurant. There is something for everyone. All the food trucks looked safe and clean. No shady business here this is certainly a nice place. As far as food is concerned, I can only speak for the place we ate. . We decided to go with Gyros2Go because it is not often you find a Greek Food Truck and we wanted to try something different that was on the healthy side. It was the big blue and white food truck, next to the bar; you cannot miss it. The truck was exceptionally clean and the staff was professional and pleasant. Gyros2goâ??s menu was simple to understand and had a variety of different selections. I was so happy to see that the food and Gyros were fresh. Real meat and not processed or reheated, precut meat like many of the places I have seen. The difference is obvious; this was a Gourmet Food Truck for sure. They slice the meat right off of a rotating broiler in front of your eyes. I could not help but to get excited because I knew it was going to be good. The truck was crowded but we did not wait long because the staff moved quickly and were very organized. I would say the wait time might have been 3-5 minutes top. It was an easy wait and absolutely worth every minute and no one else seemed to mind.. My husband and I ordered the Lamb Gyro with no onions and boy we were happy we did. Full of flavor, quality stuff, this delicious Gyro did not disappoint! My daughter is vegetarian so she had the Vegetarian Gyro with falafel. I had to snag a bite and was pleasantly surprised as it was just as enjoyable. Additionally, we ordered order of Dolmades which are grape leaves stuffed with rice; it also beat expectations. The portions were large and prices were reasonable so we got a bang for our buck. We were very satisfied. Food trucks tend to seem pricey but when you add the cost of gratuity and taxes at a restaurant, you are much better off at a Gourmet Food Truck, especially one like this! We decided to order dessert to go, Baklava. All I can say is, the Baklava didnâ??t make it far down the road; we ate it on our way. I wish we would ordered more. This food truck left us all salivating for days on after so we decided to go back for more. Sadly, the park closes on Mondays and we left Tuesday morning desiring more our only regret was not finding this spot sooner. I would definitely go back and in fact, we are all counting the days. Great find! Thank you Naples and Celebration Park.

John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation – Menu with Prices – 322 N Greenwood Ave, Tulsa

I was in town for business and asked my mom to join me for a few days. Almost instantly, I panicked. What was I going to do with Mom in a city that I had never visited? Google helped me stumble across this park. Then, I spent hours in an internet rabbit hole researching the history. The day we visited the park, the weather was perfect. The park was clean, thoughtfully landscaped and well maintained. It felt tranquil and we were able to enjoy some time strolling together and independently while reflecting and talking. I even impressed Mom with my (recently acquired) knowledge. This park is a peaceful oasis that is easily accessible and offers free parking. We walked across the street to see all the street murals on the buildings and bridge overpasses too. Glad we found his place.

Hemming Park – Menu with Prices – 135 W Monroe St, Jacksonville

I do love coming to Hemming Park for their variety of events that they host, but it saddens me that now the fountain has been blocked in by bars and hedges. I remember hearing something about it on the News. The city did so as a deterrent to the homeless from sleeping along the fountain. Although the park is still a cool location for events its really depressing to see. By doing this the city also took away places to sit to enjoy a bite to eat during one’s lunch hour but at events as well thus limiting the amount of time spent at Hemming Park. These events host many food trucks and then the city takes away pkaces to sit? I definitely want to five 5 stars but the city has got to give more seating back.

Los Plebes ” Tacos & Mariscos ” Menu with Prices 9830 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge

If I could give this good truck more than 5 stars I would. I drive all the way to austin from Baton Rouge specifically to go eat at food trucks. This one is by far one of the best food trucks I’ve ever eaten at. Not only is their food GORGEOUS and not sloppy, but it’s priced right and it’s super tasty! It’s mainly seafood items, (mariscos = seafood in Spanish) but they have some of the best carne asada street tacos EVER. Holy cow. If you love spicy food, Mexican food, and seafood….. you gotta check this truck out! I had the Mitotera (shrimp, calamari, scallop, octopus in a spicy sauce… basically a spicy seafood ceviche!) and carne asada tacos and shrimp tacos. They gave us 4 diff types of salsa, all of which were some of the best salsas I’ve ever had!
