We walked into Galloway’s last night and I felt a bit chilly so we asked Matt if they had any hot drinks on the menu, his response was “No, we haven’t made the fall change yet, but what did you have in mind?” We told him nothing in particular but one sweet and the other not so much. He returned shortly with a two drinks that were delicious, exactly what we needed. Perfect. Later we asked Matt for dessert, we told him we would like a Nanaimo Bar and if he could bring another hot drink to compliment… Matt delivered again, he nailed it. When I asked, he told me none of our drinks will be on the fall menu. That’s the reason we love Galloway’s because the staff loves their job and are allowed to use their personal creativity to deliver and make happy loyal customers

Fit4u Healthy Food & More – Menu with Prices – 13925 SW 66th St, Miami

Absolute worst meal prep company I have ever ordered from. If I could give 0 stars I would. The man who handles the delivery and I assume preparation of the meals was extremely rude. I texted (the number on the website) him my order which he confirmed and when the meal was delivered it was all wrong. I called and he argued with me that the meals were not incorrect even though it was in writing and he confirmed the order. I emailed and texted him twice the address to my house and asked him to please deliver it to my work (which I also provided the address for) if the meal was not going to be delivered by 8 AM because no one was going to be home to bring the meal inside my house. The driver showed up at my house anyways at 10 AM. When he finally arrived to my job it was 1:30 PM although I only work 15 minutes away from home. The man I spoke to on the phone also argued with me that the address to my job doesn’t exist. 3 meals were also delivered to me at once when the website says they deliver daily. When I told him that, he said that wasn’t true, they only deliver twice a week. I asked for a refund and he refused to give me ANY refund although the website specifically says that they give a partial refund. I screen shotted the website, he read my texts (according to read receipts) and ignored them. I will never order from here again and I will never recommend this place to anyone.

On Your Mark Cafe – Menu with Prices – 639 Forest Ave, Staten Island

I ate in here for breakfast with the guy I am currently dating. I have had food from this place before, but never ate-in until yesterday. Like Heather (my sister-in-law) said, it is funded by “On Your Mark.” Your order is taken by and served by the consumers (People who utilize the services of OYM. I had pancakes with bacon. Matt had eggs with hash-browns, bacon and a bagel. We also had 2 bottles of water. Our breakfast bill came to $6.25. Our conversation during the meal: FYI Matt and I are both Jewish. Matt: This a really good bagel. I think it’s the best I ever had. Me: Now is it a good bagel that tastes like regular bread,? or a good bagel as in a JEWISH bagel? Matt: Jewish bagel, wanna try a piece? Me: (Makes “this is the best i’ve ever had face”) Matt: You don’t like it? Me: NOOO I love it! This IS a Jewish bagel.

Buzzed Barbers – Menu with Prices – 1200 N Pacific Ave Unit 102, Glendale

I don’t do reviews very often unless its well deserved!. Buzzed Barbers! you guys are AMAZING!!!! I came across this place after a Starbucks run. I saw a Grand Opening banner and it just so happened I had been looking for a place to take my son to get a haircut. Looking for a kids barber that will be patient with a kid is hard let alone looking for a place that will be able to cut a child with special needs. I walked in and was right away greeted by EJ and Matt. I was letting them know I was looking for a barber to cut my son’s hair. They both said they are more than happy to do it. I then asked if they had any experience with children who have autism, they did say no BUT! would be more than happy to make accommodations needed to make my son comfortable. EJ gave me their card and said to please call him once I was ready. I called him on Wednesday morning and talked to EJ, if he had anything available that day he said Yes. We prepared my son by walking to the shop and explaining we made a quick stop at Starbucks (his favorite place) to smooth the transition. After Starbucks we walked over to the Barbershop we were greeted by Matt and introduced my son to him, took him a minute but he waved Hi. Matt showed him where he was going to sit. We got started my son was apprehensive at first since he’s not comfortable with strangers. Matt, was amazing he took his time and was very patient with him. Our son would move around and Matt would allow him time to calm down and proceed. There were a few times my son would move and it looked like he wasn’t having it, Matt again would give him some time. We asked if they could put a cartoon on their TV for him without hesitation EJ started looking for cartoon, our luck Toy Story 2 on of his favorite movies was on which helped. It felt like it took forever and I’m sure even longer for Matt but he was so patient and great with my son. My son has curly hair and I didn’t want to lose those curls which is why I only asked for a trim less nothing drastic, we got exactly what I asked for. It was a great experience for my son’s first hair cut. I can’t express the gratitude enough to Matt and EJ, you guys went above and beyond customer service expectations. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! to everyone.

K & G Corner Deli – Menu with Prices – 169 Orange St, New Haven

I tried to have an order delivered to my office address today and was told we were too far away so the order would have to be over $25 for delivery (their requirement for deliveries over 1 mile). I told them we are 1.1 miles away and was told (quite rudely) that is still over 1 mile and so the requirement stands (even though they have delivered to my office many times in the past). I then went on their website which connected me to Doordash for online orders for delivery and it asked for the delivery address to confirm it could be delivered and delivery was approved and showed as 0.9 miles away. The refusal to deliver a $16 order because we were “too far away” at 1.1 miles (or 0.9 miles according to the delivery service) just cost them a bunch of business since I stop in at least once a week to pick up breakfast and my husband’s entire department orders from them often. Bad business practice.

Vennture Brew Co – Menu with Prices – 5519 W North Ave, Milwaukee

My Girlfriend and I were in town for the weekend and were looking for some things to do in the evenings, and Vennture Brew came onto our radar. Me, a beer lover, and my lady, a coffee lover, couldn’t think of a better way to spend the tail end of our Saturday night than Vennture Brew. We walked in and the first thing I heard was the bartender, Simon, whose face I recognized from the website, singing Stevie Wonder while pouring someone their beer. We sat down and were greeted by another bartender (Matt) who was just as fun and outgoing. I sampled all available beers on tap and was INCREDIBLY happy with how they all tasted. I don’t want to sound like a salesman, but you really do have to try them all. Their sour on tap, Pie-Curious, tasted like Blueberry Lemonade and, trust me, you must have it. Every single one of their Saisons was distinct and delicious, and this is coming from a guy who doesn’t even necessarily like saisons! The V. Nice, a saison brewed with Lemon, Basil, and Peppercorns was especially delicious and unique. Their IPA on tap, Tier 5, was also out of this world. If you are a beer drinker, do what I did. Walk in and sit down, start with the Pie-Curious, and then ask the bartender to suggest what you should have next (I told them that I planned on going “around the world”, meaning I was going to eventually try every beer on tap). The order that they suggested to me was perfect in terms of how the flavors evolved from beer to beer. Both Matt and Simon were also very attentive, not only to make sure my drink was always full, but also to make conversation, despite it being a busy Saturday night. Whether they were asking about where we were from, how we liked our drinks, or what the appropriate level of lighting is when listening to Michael Jackson, both Simon and Matt were always chatting us up. My girlfriend was also very happy with the coffee. Even after having made the caramel latte, Matt told her that if she wanted it sweeter, stronger, or milkier, he would make spot adjustments to make sure she enjoyed it to the fullest. All in all, come for the incredible beer and/or coffee, stay for Simon and Matt (I’m sure the other bartenders are just as fun, but I’m speaking from experience), and then come back for both! IMHO 10/10, XOXO.

Matt Robbâ??s Biscuits & Brew – Menu with Prices – 800 Market St, Knoxville

If something is promoted by K Brew, then it must be good, right? This little shop replaced the K Brew location in the courthouse, but it’s not a sad replacement! According to Matt, he makes everything from scratch, and it shows in the food! The biscuits are a nice balance of slightly crispy on the outside, with fluffiness on the inside. My only thing was that they were a little crumbly, so they can fall apart easily when trying to eat it in the paper wrapper it comes in. Flavor wise, the biscuit isn’t too salty or sweet. It’s also a “build your own biscuit” style with both sweet and savory options. The homemade strawberry jam was a perfect compliment to the pillows of flavor. There are also coffee options, with the cold brew already coming sweetened with milk. Next time I’ll get it by itself to really get the full flavor of coffee, which was brewed smoothly. They have some ready to go items like salads also. Prices for biscuits are decent, with the drink and coffee options being pricier (cold brew was about $5). I wish they were open on the weekends, because they would be a great thing to have after the farmers market! They only opened this past Monday, so I look forward to seeing how they grow!

Tiny Moreso – Menu with Prices – 4520 NE 42nd Ave, Portland

I love Tiny Moreso! The food and the people. There is a wonderful list of smoothies to choose from or you can speak with Jen and she will come up with something that works for you if you have allergies to something. They make & serve the most beautiful deserts that taste as good as they look. There is hot food and hot drinks as well. Salads are tasty and filling! My favorite thing on the menu is Avocado Toast!!!! You can feel the Wellness Toddy working as you drink it. They make it easy to be Vegan ! Oh bring your own jar, commuter or get one from them for a $2. Go try them out and fall in love too.

Ridge Pizza NE – Menu with Prices – 3338 NE 65th St, Seattle

My husband and I have recently moved back into the neighborhood in the past year and one of our old friends recommended this place to us and it has become one of our favorite spots to have pizza in the neighborhood since it’s never too busy but it does get loud at times such as when little leagues have their after game party. One of the cool things about this place it has a fully stocked bar for adults. Our favorite bartender is Matt I believe. I’m horrible with names but he’s the somewhat bald guy working behind the bar. My husband and I always like creating your own pizza and they have a lot of options to offer. One of our favorite types of pizzas we get there is cheese spicy pepperoni and Italian sausage. By the way before I forget my husband loves their whiskey selection. This review would have been four stars however I had one negative experience there when I took a group of my friends after work for pizza and drinks. We were a group of five and we all wanted cocktails however when we placed the order for the drinks the bartender “NOT Matt the bald guy” seemed irritated with us and shook his head while walking away. Even though he gave a little attitude the drinks still tasted good and the pizza was perfect. When I got home I told my husband about what happened and a few days later he went to the place to meet up with a few of his friends and inquired about the guy that we had. When my husband came home he told me that he talked to the friendly bartender and told me that he said that the bartender we had could be rough around the edges sometimes. Anyways I’m not going to let this situation keep us from going there. 90% of the time it’s an good experience.

Gigi’s Cupcakes – Menu with Prices – 2511 Airport Thruway B, Columbus

Very disappointed with the service and the cupcakes. I ordered 70 cupcakes for my 70th bornday. They were to be delivered to the venue where my party was going to be. I ordered them on a Monday to be delivered on Friday morning @10a. I arrived at the location around 9:45a and the van was already there. The driver asked if he could set the cupcakes on the bench in front of the establishment, because he had other deliveries to make ð??³. Dud I had paid to have them delivered.Totally unacceptable. I went on Monday to Gigiâ??s to let them know of my displeasure. 1st question, was the driver tall or short?ð??³, the drivers do not set up the cupcakes ,( did not want him to setup party wasnâ??t until 7p )and we donâ??t usually deliver- should have told me that on Monday and not charge me a delivery fee, oh in the order was cheesecake cupcakes (setting on the bench in Columbus weather). Then I was offered extra loyalty points (no thank you). And oh the cupcakes were rather heavy not very good. Do not recommend Gigiâ??s, wonâ??t ever use them again. Disappointed customer. Kanpai of Toyko – Menu with Prices – 533 Haywood Rd, Greenville

WORTH THE LONG READ. PLEASE SHARE. I had an awful experience at Kanpai of Tokyo on Haywood road this past Saturday. I donâ??t frequent the restaurant. I went because it was my grandsonâ??s birthday. I chose not to sit at the table because I wasnâ??t going to eat. I did however, go to the bar an ordered a drink. I asked the bartender if I could open a tab. She told me that I could just come back and back later. As I was walking back to order another drink she informed me that the assistant manager said that I needed to pay now. So, I sat down at the bar to order my drink. A different guy bartender was there. He walked back and forth for about 5-10 minutes before I finally asked him if he could help me. He told me that I had to wait for the other bartender to come back. I watched him make several drinks before I finally asked him why couldnâ??t he make my drink. He asked me very sarcastically…. what do you want? Of course, I told him. As he was bringing my drink to me I asked him for an orange slice. He then exhaled like it was his last breath. I asked for my check so that I could pay and get out of there. Meanwhile, my son came to the bar to order a drink. When he tried to get his attention, he walked away. I told my son that the guy already had an attitude with me. My son asked the guy what was the problem with serving us. He then hollered… I DONâ??T HAVE A PROBLEM. Iâ??M NOT SERVING YOU… CALL THE POLICE!…. Iâ??m like wtw. You have an attitude and you want to call the police on us! The assistant manager came over saying that they were calling the police and we need to leave because they were not going to serve us. I asked what did she witness that would warrant her to call the police. Then she hollers at me…. PAY FOR YOUR DRINKS AND LEAVE! Which I had done long before she walked up to the bar. OMG you already know that it went south after that. A lot of cursing and I am ready to go to blows with both of them. The manager came over to assess the situation and eventually served my son his drinks.. . This is one of many situations where the police are called for no apparent reason. Our situation could have played out differently. Innocent people have lost there lives to due to misuse of the police force. My money may not break them but it sure wonâ??t make them. I ask that you do the same. Despite what you think of them, recognize what they think of you. Remember that the next time could be you or your family member. #blacklivesmatter #notmymoney . MIYABI NEXT TIME!

The Grounds – Menu with Prices – 5000 W Bell Rd, Glendale

We have come here a handful of times always fine , takes a while for simple drinks though. Love the fact you have red bull. (The reason for one star) Went today, was a busier day, as three people came over and told us and said sorry its really busy today sorry it’s taking a long time. We were there for 30 minutes for two drinks… we reached the window, when greeted with “what drinks did you have”. My boyfriend’s drink came out once we told them. Then minutes later they ask me again what the other drink was. Told them the medium americano. They came out with a hot americano , I first ordered a “iced medium white chocolate americano, extra sweet”. So they made me another one. It was a “warm” iced americano no sweeter… So they tried again, with something that looked ok. I gave up and said it’s fine. I would think they took the first hot Americano remade it and poured it in a iced cup with a couple ice cubes. Then went to remake it again and poured out half and added white chocolate and more ice. Very horrible today. Will have to second guess coming again. Disappointed.. you need to learn to make drink.

Kansas City Cupcake Co. – Menu with Prices – 719 N 6th St, Kansas City

So glad we found this place! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoonlast month to see if they could do a custom order for my daughter’s 3rd birthday the following Saturday. I was concerned we might be too late, but not only were they happy to take the order, they delivered (for free) to my house the morning of the party- what a huge relief to not worry about picking them up and transporting them safely myself! We purchased a few fun flavors to go (all incredible), but our birthday order was pretty simple, a few dozen vanilla/chocolate cakes and a 6″ round cake, all decorated in a Moana/beachy theme and they nailed it. Several guests asked who made them and I was happy to share! The price, compared to several other shops we’ve used or had quotes from, was very reasonable as well, especially considering the delivery. My husband picked up a few of their weekly flavor cupcakes on his way home yesterday for us as well, and they were delicious. They really nailed the perfect balance of buttercream/filling and cake, never too overwhelming or too bland, and the cake itself is fresh and delicious! They will certainly be doing ALL of our cake orders going forward!
