I’m not sure if this is a high point or a low point in my drinking career but I can now officially say that I have waited outside of a bar for the doors to unlock. We were looking to get a few afternoon adult beverages on a sunny Sunday afternoon and found this gem on Yelp and realized it wasn’t open for another 10 minutes but decided to hang out and wait, which I’m glad we did. The establishment is dark and a little dingy just like you’d expect of a good dive bar. They have several games to keep you there and throwing them back such as: pool, darts, video games and giant jenga. We chose to play jenga while enjoying a few brews. It was fun, I lost. They also have a small menu which my brother and SIL decided to order off of. I didn’t try the food but they didn’t complain. In addition, there’s a cool outdoor patio. The staff was friendly. The regulars mostly kept to themselves but would chat if you initiated the conversation. I don’t suspect this will be a normal hang out for us but certainly a place we’d return to.

Toby’s Billiards – Menu with Prices – 4525, 2004 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood

I arrived there with my brother and a friend and they said it was going to be 10 dollars an hour and 5 minutes later she came to said it was 12 and wherever I was not going to complain for extra 2 bucks. Than while I was waiting for my friend and brother to finish a game, someone else invited me to play with him and I said ok. So that lady in charge came to me and charged me 10 dollars to clean play a couple of game with the guy who invited me to play and also charge my brother and friend 16 dollars and she said because we were 3 guys there but than she still charged me 10 for who knows what. She was really rude in the way she asked us for payment and also wanted us to remove our belongings from a table while my friend and brother were just waiting for me to finish the last game.. How can you tell us to get your bags to somewhere else when I was paying to be there and your place was pretty much empty, now I get why was empty..

Reboot Retrocade & Bar – Menu with Prices – 566 Cherry St, Macon

Cool place. Great collection of arcade games from the 80s with the soundtrack playing in the background. And they sell alcohol! We took our kids here on a Saturday afternoon (I think it goes to 21 and over after 6pm). It was not crowded. The games run on arcade tokens and most games are 1 token play. My kids, 7 and 12, had a blast learning how to play “real” video games where you have a joystick, a fire button and not much else. And my wife and SIL got into a Frogger competition. My only complaint…I couldn’t find Tempest.

LFG Gaming Bar – Menu with Prices – 116 Portage Street, Kalamazoo

This place is kind of like the Aquaman movie for me. I had really low expectations, and I actually wound up liking it better than I expected to. Basically a bunch of my gamer friends told me they hated it oh, so it had nowhere to go but up. If you’re going here first and foremost to have a great gaming experience, you’ll probably be a bit disappointed by lagging equipment and lack of variety. But if you’re here for a birthday party, for example — as we were on Friday night — and you might want to play a little bit of Super Puzzle Fighter or Guitar Hero while you hang out and catch up with old friends, you’re probably going to have a pretty nice time. The drink prices on the beers are very fair ($4-6 for local craft beers), but there’s nothing out of the ordinary on the list. Cocktail prices are mostly under 10, but no one at my table was impressed with what they got and our concensus was that one of their cocktails was basically like grape Kool-Aid for grown ups. The food likewise was kind of meh. The rice balls just needed a little bit of something else — the dipping sauce was delicious but they were just too ricey. Seems to me like there’s way too many great spots to score an amazing drink downtown for this place to do too well other than that niche factor of having old school games. I did like that they had some board games and party games (What Do You Meme, Cards Against Humanity, Jenga, etc.), too. Here’s hoping they add some pizzazz to both their drink and food menus, because this could be a pretty fun to hang out if they got all their ducks in order.

Vault 31 Bar – Menu with Prices – 316 SE 123rd Ave D4, Vancouver

This is an amazing bar with original touches! Itâ??s not your typical bar in Vancouver. They genuinely put an effort in to make sure their patrons are happy and enjoying themselves. They have a menu for drinks and food as well as all the games that are available to play, and even if you donâ??t like to play video games there is opportunities to watch them! In addition every other week they have trivia night which they put together themselves and although it is difficult it is a good challenging experience and fun at the same time! They take great care of their equipment and wipe down every controller after use so it feels very clean and hygienic. The mac and cheese bites are by far the best items Iâ??ve had at a bar in a long time and the DK punch is another favorite id be happy to come back to. The prices are also very affordable and well worth the quality of what youâ??re receiving. I look forward to coming to many more trivia nights on Wednesdayâ??s!

Nomadic Beerworks Menu with Prices 3804 Woodbury Dr Suite A, Austin

Came here to hang out with a large group on a Saturday afternoon, they have a sizable space with plenty of tables, space to stand, and games to play while you’re there. There was a lively bunch of people throughout our time there, but it never got too crowded. Their beer selection was fairly limited, but it’s understandable given they’re quite new to the area. The bartender was super helpful and let my friend and I sample a few of them. Being indecisive I still chose to have a flight after. My personal favorite beer I tried was the dry hopped wheat, but the hazy IPA and the raspberry milkshake IPA also stood out! Their menu was quite IPA heavy, so hopefully they’ll continue to branch out, but it does look like they rotate their menu quite often. There’s also a fantastic Korean food truck out back that I highly recommend checking out while you’re here. Overall, I think the combination of good space to hang out, tasty beer, and delicious food is well worth checking out.

1-Up Lounge Menu with Prices 1121 McKenzie Ave, Bellingham

This is a place for video game lovers. Super friendly owner. They have 2200 video games, all free to play when you order a glass of alcohol beverage. After the first game, $2 for the next game and so forth (if I remember correctly). If you don’t drink alcohol, $6 (or $5?) per hour to play a game. They have Nintendo, Wii, Sega Genesis, Xbox, Play Station, etc. If you want to play longer, you may want to ask for a 1-day pass. This may be a good place to check out some games you heard about, or try out games before you decide to purchase one. Or simply get together with friends just to have fun playing games. ã??ã??ã?ªã?²ã?¼ã? ã???????ã??ã???ã??å¬?ã?ã?ã?åº???æ?ã??ã?ã?? ã??ã??ã?ªã?²ã?¼ã? ?æ?°?2200ã????å ?ã?Xboxã?ã??ã?¬ã?¤ã?¹ã??ã?¼ã?·ã?§ã?³??ã?è?²ã???ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??å?ã??æ?ã??ã??ã?ã?? ã?¢ã?«ã?³ã?¼ã?«ã??ã?ªã?³ã?¯ã??ã?ªã?¼ã??ã?¼ã?ã???ã?å?ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ?ç?¡æ??ã????ã?²ã?¼ã? ã?ã???ã?2ã??ã?«ã?ã?£ã?¼ã?¸?ã?ã?ã??ã??ã?¢ã?«ã?³ã?¼ã?«ã?????ã??å??ã?1æ??é??6ã??ã?«ï¼?5ã??ã?«ï¼?ï¼?ã??é?·æ??é??é??ã?ã??å???ã?1æ?¥ã??ã?¹??å?¥ã??è?ã???ã???ã??ã?ã?ã?ã??ã?? å???è?ã?ã?ã??ã??ã?ªã?²ã?¼ã? ã???ã???ã?ã??ã?ã???ã?²ã?¼ã? ã???å?¥ã?ã???ã????ã?ã??????ã?ã?ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã???ã???ã??ã??ã???ã?????ã???ã?ã?å?é??ä¸?ç·??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã??é?????ã????ç«??å¯?ã???ã??ã?ã?ã?ã??ã??

Rock & Brews – Menu with Prices – 3284 Margaritaville Blvd, Kissimmee

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and we were able to get a seat immediately. We chose to sit at the bar. Being that it was a hot day, I was ready for a drink. So, I ordered the blood orange margarita. It was big enough to last me my entire meal (alternating with water). There is also a drink specials menu, but by the time I discovered it, it was too late. My friend and I decided to split the Demon Chicken Sandwich and a Margherita Pizza. I was hoping the chicken would have that Nashville Hot flair to it, but it didn’t. Still a great sandwich, big portion, and the fries were perfect. The pizza was just meh….I am pretty sure it was a frozen pizza with shredded basil sprinkled on top to make it appear fresh. Living in the south almost all my life, I have been pretty spoiled when it comes to BBQ. I prefer smokehouses or local street vendors that you know have been up since 3 am, watching over that sweet meat. However, as we were leaving, we noticed a guy nearby eating ribs, and they looked tempting. My friend kind of regretted not getting the ribs. Kids are welcome, the atmosphere is pretty cool. Sensory overload, but in a good way. It was nice watching all of the music videos on the screens from the 70’s and 80’s. They also have an outside area where people can play cornhole and jenga. It was too hot to enjoy it, but I am sure that outside area is active on a Friday or Saturday night. Maybe a retractable shade would be a great addition to the patio.

One Well Brewing – Menu with Prices – 4213 Portage Street, Kalamazoo

We love One Well! It’s a super fun place where all ages can hang! They have two fairly separate sides, one side has plenty of eating area close to a wall of pinball games, several arcade style games, darts, and a really nice kids area! The other side also has plenty of seating, set further away from the games and kid area. We love that you can choose either side! One Well also has a bunch of card/board games for anyone who wants to grab and play while you hang out! Such a neat choice, again, for any age to have some fun! The staff is always knowledgeable, friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. All service is bar service so you order anything you’d like at one of several designated bar ordering stations, drinks or food, they assign you a number, and then a runner will bring your food to wherever you are sitting, when it’s ready. We have ordered numerous food items from the menu! The pizzas are great! The sandwiches are tasty! We love the nachos!! They are a great shareable snack, or meal for one! The Spinach artichoke dip is also a favorite shareable of ours! On our most recent visit my husband ordered a sandwich from the board of weekly specials. “What’s the Pig Deal” – It was a a pork sandwich with an apple slaw. It came with super delicious kettle chips, and a pickle. He loves pork and enjoyed his sandwich. I ordered what has become my new favorite at OW, the “Tower De Tostada”. It’s a tostada stack with tons of yummy Mexican flavors! The customer is given the choice of adding a meat, both times I’ve chosen bacon and it’s totally an amazing fit for the entrée! I have ordered it again and again won’t stop soon!! ? It comes with tortilla chips and some exceptional salsa on the side! Very filling and delicious! The beer choices are great and numerous! I don’t stray very far from what I know and love so for me it’s an IPA, Simcoerillo, or the brown ale, Bad Adz. Both super solid and reliable choices! My husband is much more adventurous and has tried many of the brews, one of his favs is the Sweet Water Street!

I/O Arcade Bar – Menu with Prices – 720 Williamson St, Madison

One of my favorite bars in town. They don’t have a lot of games but the variety is there. From a wall of pinball machines, old school single players to new school 10 players. Yes, that’s 10 players – Killer Queen is the game and rare in the nation. You have racing games, fighting and shooting games. Another new one is a 4 player PAC-Man. And the 4 player console of Mario Smash Bris. projected on a screen (free to play, first come first serve). So the variety is definitely there. Also, most games have either cup holders built in or a spot along side of the game for your drinks. It does get pretty “pac” weekend nights but hey, there’s a bar you can get drinks from and tables you can chill at. The barcade has a nice balance between bar and arcade, whether you just want to hang and drink or just want to feed the machines with all your laundry quarters, they serve both purpose. They have an ATM and two change machines. And the staff are super friendly and can help with any game issues or tips on playing the games ?

Redemption Rock Brewing Company – Menu with Prices – 333 Shrewsbury St, Worcester

I have one thing to emphasize here: RESTROOMS! Okay, that doesn’t tell the whole story. But what it does tell is the serious consideration that went into planning for the comfort of their customers. And comfort it is. There are couches and dog beds. Sometimes you just want to hang out with your pup. Well, you can bring your friends and your pup and have a nice evening. Actually, you don’t even need to bring friends because everyone here is incredibly welcoming and social. My husband enjoyed his pale ale when we were there. I am lame and don’t drink, so I don’t know what he had. They really have great coffee and snacks from a local business, Crust. There is an entire room to sit at picnic tables and play board games and other things to keep you intellectually stimulated. Also, you can order a pizza for delivery from anywhere and bring in food from the outside. This is a place for everyone to just hang out.

Rook & Rogue Board Game Pub Menu with Prices 206 W Magnolia St, Bellingham

This is a very unique restaurant/pub in Bellingham. The owner is from Orlando, who thought Bellingham is “the place” to have a Boardgame pub and started it. They have 1300 board games on site. Many of them are free to play, some are $5, and some serious big games are $10 to play. If you are serious game player, you may want to pay $50/year membership to play $5 games, and $100/year membership to play $10 games. Membership comes with a free on entree meal on your birthday and free dessert. They have tables with a game board built in (I heard they paid around $2500 for the table). You can keep playing on the table till the food is ready and when food comes, they’ll install the table top on the table to eat, then after eating, they’ll remove the table top for you to continue playing the game. Some games like “Twilight Imperium” will take 13-17 hours to finish, therefore you may want to reserve the table for 2 days to complete the game. “Dark Tower” electronic board game came out in 1981 was on the $10 shelf. This game is discontinued and not made anymore, but you can still play at this place ? There is one boardgame pub in Seattle, but they say each boardgame pubs has its own characteristics and none of them are the same. Even if you are not into a board game, would be fun to try out once in your life ? ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã?ã?ã?¼ã?«ã??ã?¬ã?¤ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??å?é???ã???ã?ã??ã?é£?äº?ã??ã?ã?ã?æ???ã?å?§ã????ã?ã??ã?¬ã?¹ã??ã?©ã?³? 1300?é¡?ã???ã?²ã?¼ã? ã?ã?ã??ã?ã??ã?å¤???ç?¡æ????ã?å?ºã?ã??ã??ã?ã?????ã?ã?·ã?ªã?¢ã?¹?ã?²ã?¼ã? ?ã?å??ã??ã????$ï¼?ã??ã?«ã?$10ã??ã?«?ã???ã??ã?ã???ã?ã?ã??é??50ã??ã?«ã??ã??100ã??ã?«??ä¼??ã??æ????ã?5ã??ã?«ã?10ã??ã?«å??ã??æ?¾é¡??ã?ã?æ??ã??ã?? ?ä¼????ã?ã?èª?ç??æ?¥?ç?¡æ???ã?é£?äº?ã??ã?ã?ã??ã?¶ã?¼ã??ã?ç?¡æ?????ç?¹å?¸ã?ã?ã??ã??ã??ã?ã?? åº???ã?ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ç?¨ã??ã?¤ã??ã?³ã?°ã??ã?¼ã??ã?«ã?ã?ã??ã?ã?é£?äº?ã??ã????ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã???ã??ã?ã?é£?äº?ã??ã?ã??ã?ä¸??ã??ã?¼ã??ã?«?ã??ä¹?ã??ã?é£?äº?ã?ã?é£??çµ?ã??ã?ã??ã?ã??ã?¼ã??ã?«?ã??å?ã??æ????ã?ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ç¶?ã?ã??ã??ã????ã?ã??ã??ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã?¤ã??ã?³ã?°ã??ã?¼ã??ã?«?ã?2500ã??ã?«??ã?ã????ã?ã?? ã???å»?ç?¤????ã?ã??ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? “Dark Tower” ã??ã?æ??ä½??ã??çµ?äº?ã?ã????13æ??é???ã?ã?ã???è¨?ã?ã???ã?ã?? “Twilight Imperium” ?ã?ã?ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã?ã???ã?ã?? ã?·ã?¢ã??ã?«?ã??1?ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã??ã?ã?ã???ã??ã?ã?ã??ã??ã?ã???ã??ã???å??æ?§ã?ã???é?ã????ã?ã?? ä¸??ã?ä½?é¨?ã??å?¼??ã?é£?äº?ã??ã???ã?ã?ã?¬ã?¹ã??ã?©ã?³?ã?ã??

Downtown Sporting Club – Menu with Prices – 411 Broadway, Nashville

Most of the bars on Broadway have live music, open space, and a rooftop bar. Not to say that those bars aren’t awesome, but if you’re looking to play some games while having a drink, this might be a nice change of pace. After exploring some of the bars the city has to offer, we decided to check this place out. The Downtown Sporting Club is composed of four floors: First floor – In addition to a restaurant & bar, this floor offers ping pong and corn hole. They also have a picture worthy “Nashville looks good on you” wall pictured in my review. Second floor – In addition to a bar offering alcoholic slushees, this floor includes a variety of activities to choose from. They have axe throwing, which I recommend making a reservation for, arcade games, foosball, and a “lawn” area to watch several sports games simultaneously. Third floor – This floor is for “hotel” guests so we were unable to go to this floor. Pretty cool concept nonetheless. Fourth floor – More games, but outdoors on their rooftop. The rooftop offers a view of Broadway. They also have a dance floor and photo booth inside. If you’re looking for a place to chill, I recommend this fun spot!
