Had been meaning to try one of their locations, finally got a chance being in the area, i had high expectations and they were nearly met. Firts off ordered fish tacos and even though i prefer spicier was nothing tapatio couldnt fix. Think the prices are reasonable and portions plentiful. I also ordered a campechana seca wich is a seafood melody. First the downsides: had to figure and put plenty of sauces and salt and peeper to my liking. At first the sauce seemed lime it didnt have much flavor and would be best if it was. Ot as runny so it stays on the food. I didnt get to really taste it until i was done with the seafood and it was not bad. However knowing you must fix it to your liking a phuge plus was the freshness of the seafood, it seemed it was prepared to order not premade, defi ately fresher than other places ive tried. Would suggest you give it a try. Not a huge or fancy but a nice mellow atmostphere. Think they can improve but doing good.

Mariscos nuevo altata – Menu with Prices – 2151 E Main St, Stockton

I’m a big seafood snob. I grew up eating traditional fresh sinaloense seafood so yea I think I earned the snob title. Ok, so I get excited when a place claims to be Sinaloense, now this place mmm I don’t think it’s traditional as I like it but food is decent. Service is not the best, it has improved but there’s still plenty of room for improvement. Service is usually slow, now food is made to order which I appreciate. However, at times I feel like the cook doesn’t follow the orders as they come in, more like what’s faster to get out the way which greatly irritates me!! As far as taste, well since I’m a seafood snob I’ve learned to not order “fresh” seafood. I order cooked because I feel like it’s easier to get flavor thru when it’s cooked. Cooked seafood is good, fresh is not. My husband loves fresh seafood and falls for the false “fresh” seafood advertisement only to be disappointed. With that being said I will give them props for carrying pata de mula at times that does taste pretty fresh and is only acquired in Northern Mexico. Their “fresh” scallops lack freshness and that sea taste I get in mexico. We don’t have lots of good Mexican seafood joints in town so we do keep coming back to this one. I give it 3 solid stars. It’s pretty much a whole in the wall in a sketchy side of town but we’ve never had any issues here. Parking lot and street parking is available. Also the ladies make fresh hand made corn tortillas A+ for that!!

Stillman Quality Meats – Menu with Prices – 157 Harding St, Worcester

This butcher shop is the bricks and mortar location for the farm in Hardwick, MA. If you want food that is fresh and you know where it is coming from, this is your place! The business has more than just the meat from their farm. They sell local seafood, prepared foods, sausage, cheese and sweets. They have some candy and chocolates from a place in Vermont. The cheese selection is a very good cheese selection (Cowgirl Creamery). People in Worcester will be tempted to go to another meat market nearby that sells cheap meat. So, I say go ahead. Get something from them, then get the same item from Stillman’s and taste the difference. The freshness and flavor should be enough. But the most important thing is that this is a family farm treating their animals with respect and comfort. I would much rather have a steak from a happy cow than one that lives in the mass production that stresses the animal.

Simha/ Paradise Biryani Pointe Menu with Prices suite d, 5310 Windward Pkwy suite d, Alpharetta

We catered from Simha for my kids first birthday and the accomodation, quality, flavor and service had been nothing short of impeccable. Kudos and bravo to a job very well done! We were very impressed and are appreciative of the restaurants commitment and passion to delivering an excellent service. Honestly could not have asked for more, they were patient in gathering our feedback over 3 rounds of extensive tasting and ensured they got the taste and texture to our liking on the dishes. All the guests enjoyed the foold and were very appreciative of the taste. Especially it was great to have the tea to extend our party and relax after the party The following dishes were catered, and all the dishes had been done with care, but achari paneer, malai kofta and nilgiri chicken were exceptionally good. Chilli Gobi – 4* Achari Paneer – 5+/5* Chicken 65-4* Malai Kofta – 5+*/5 Bagara Bengan – 5* Nilgiri Chicken 5+*/5 Gulab Jamun – 5/5 From a service standpoint 1. When we were not that impressed with 1 chef, the owner was accomodating enough to get our dishes prepared by a different chef. 2. Made time to invite us to the restaurant 3 times to ensure he got things prepared to our liking, but never pressured us for a commitment. 3. Additionally we got a hot box full of tea catered and when the tea was slightly high on sugar, they made some more tea and sent it to the party venue 15 miles away to even out the taste. The price was pretty reasonable too. In a crowded Atlanta market of Indian restuarants, we were very glad to have found Simha to cater for our event.

Fresh Smoothies & Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2450 Creston Ave, The Bronx

I would like to think it was because I came in 15 min to closing but that shouldnt change the attitude that you have towards the customer. I walked in and the ladies were talking they looked at me and continued talking. Very disrespectful didnt get greeted or anything, so I said excuse me and asked for what I wanted. Then I told her ill buy an orange juice aswell only for the simple fact that I wanted to see the machine working she stated that the machine is off and the juice was premade that defeated the purpose of wanting the juice so I didnt get it, but They have a lil process that’s done to meet customers satisfaction they serve you an ounce or 2 of w.e. smoothie you ordered to taste for perfection incase you want to add anything or change anything but as I get my sample the lady started to pour it in the cup, didnt wait for my opinion. It wasnt as cold as I would have wanted it to be but didnt wanna start anything I just said it was fine. The one moping gets mad because my boots were dirty she told me to stand by the door and the other lady tells me to come over to the cashier to pay and the one mopping gets mad. I just think for a first time experience on a Friday night it should have been a little better.. I’ll come again another time maybe I’ll change my rating but as of now very disappointed

Mr. & Mrs. Crab – Menu with Prices – 3875 S Kirkman Rd, Orlando

Once I heard about this place, I knew I had to try it within its first few days in business. The place is super clean and decorated perfectly. The front hostess was super friendly and personable with our family. Our waiter, Toto, was very helpful in navigating me and my husband through the menu. The manager, Valentine, also checked in to ensure we were enjoying our meals. We ordered seafood combos that were prepared and seasoned to perfection. It gets pretty messy, so be prepared. I’ve been waiting to find a place like this close to home. It’s hard to find a boil style seafood restaurant that has plenty of seating and an ambiance for you to enjoy your meal. Kids menu was substantial with plenty of sides for my little one to choose from. I give this place five stars in every aspect .

Fiamma Centro – Menu with Prices – 4 Elton St #1216, Rochester

I had been to the other Fiammas in Gates and remembered liking their food. But I also remember not being able to alter the food in any way. Back then, the served had explained to me that owner was from Italy and worked hard to create these dishes and would not allow changes. So, heading to the new Fiamma Centro I could really only think of that one tid-bit and made sure to try and order items that sounded great and that I didn’t want to alter in any way. For an app the table ordered the Fried seafood appetizer known as “Frittura mista di Paranza”. It could certainly use some salt, and the smelt was fishy. Our friends had said this used to be served with an amazing piece of cod, but seems the menu has changed and smelt was subbed in at this location. For dinner I ordered the beer braised short rib special with “polenta” but the served describe it as “mashed potatoes”! I certainly know better!!! Polenta is not mashed potatoes in any way! But, no substitutions… so.. polenta it is. My husband was really confused by the runny yellowish slop on the plate and did not understand the correlation the served made to mashed potatoes. Neither of us enjoyed the flavor of the polenta, and left it there. But, i’ll have you know that the braised shirt ribs were delightful! We wanted to order a specific pizza and add a topping. We were told we can take stuff off, but not substitute or add to it. (UGH…. but at least the owner has slightly come around an allowing a tiny change.) Anyway, same for a pasta dish with seafood we were interested in, no changes yada yada. So, we ended up ordering the pizza on special that evening: it came with purple potatoes, cream sauce and duck egg. It was rather blah in flavor…. we didn’t finish it and threw away the leftovers. Oh well…. Our friends raved about the “Rigatoni al Forno” dish from the Gates location and decided to order it here. Upon receiving it at this location, they said the portion was reduced in half compared to what they had previously received. They also ordered a chicken dish, “Pollo Sicilino” and enjoyed it. Nothing really stood out as good or bad about our service other than the polenta being described as mashed potatoes) …. The food was decent but I expected a bit better.

Jarocho Authentic Mexican Seafood – Menu with Prices – 719 Kansas Ave, Kansas City

This place is great for seafood. It’s very quaint and located in a strip mall. The kitchen is pretty open and the place just radiates of homely cooking. Their seafood is very fresh and the execution is solid. I had their cucharacha shrimp both times. One was with the shells on and the other without shells. There is definitely more flavor with the shells on, but it’s a mess to remove all the shells. Be ready to be licking your fingers throughout your meal – it’s not a bad thing, really. I also had the seafood paella which was really great as well. Better than the one from that I had catered for a wedding from a local restaurant. Their fish is fresh and flavorful and each dish is simply prepared with the freshest ingredients. I really wanted to try their ink squid pasta so that may be on my list the next time I come. If you want fresh seafood, come here. Don’t miss out on their specials that they have throughout the week!

Vien Dong Seafood Market – Menu with Prices – 2345 W 1st St, Santa Ana

So I love Seafood. Its the best thing there is! This place a hole in the wall. They carry fresh Seafood. Their shrimp is amazing and has no after taste. I have had shrimp from the grocery stores and they taste so fake and nasty. But this place does it all justice. I no longer get seafood from grocery stores. I rather pay a decent price for fresher products. So I am super stoked that my mom brought this place to my attention.

Central Fish Market – Menu with Prices – 401 Central Ave #2802, Jersey City

This is a great little local gem if you want some casual home cooked seafood. They have a huge menu of cooked food options, I actually didnt see any fish for sale. So I chose the fried combo seafood platter ($10) and broiled salmon with salad and rice. The portions were HUGE and delicious. The 2 ladies who were cooking were VERY nice. Literally it is like mom’s home cooking. The ambiance is very casual lile any fish market establishment. There is table seating there and soft drinks available for purchase. They will serve you at the table if you dine in. Overal a great CASUAL spot for a great seafood meal. I may recommend takout if you want ambiance, it’s not fancy, but the food is more than worth the trip.

Seafood Alley Fresh Seafood Market – Menu with Prices – 35 Spring St #A, Charleston

Dropped by one afternoon after work and brought some takeout home. After reading several reviews I decided to try this place out. Plus, it was right down the street from some of my favorites establishments including Tapio, Five Loaves, and Xiao Bao Biscuit just to name a few. Environment: I parked directly in font of the place and was surrounded by a lot of foot traffic. My first impressions were this was not a place if you have kids or I wouldn’t even have my wife go alone. Right across the street were several homeless guys sitting on the sidewalk and appeared like waiting for a bus or something. When I walked in, there were two other ladies waiting for takeout. There were no tables to eat at and mainly looked like a place you can buy fresh seafood to be prepared and cooked at home. There was a menu on the wall, along with several paper menus everywhere including the cashier counter. Service: I glanced at the menu and decided to go with an order of “Garlic Shrimp” for $15.99. There were no descriptions on there, just the fact that they came with approximately (12-16 count). The lady took my order, charged my card and told me that it would be like 15 minutes. After standing for that long with no available seating, I finally got my order. Food: After driving all the home, I finally was able to taste the seafood I was yearning and able to see what I ordered versus the box it was in. The shrimp tasted okay for me, however, my wife thought it was kind of too spicy for her taste. The shrimp was covered with crushed red pepper and had a strong salty flavor. After my wife’s comment, I realized the only thing I could really fast was the red pepper. We believe, without the red pepper, they may actually have a decent flavor. My suggestion to the place is either describe the dish on the menu for those who would not have ordered it if they knew how spicy it was. Price: On the high end for what you got. For $15.99 + tax, you could go to another seafood restaurant and get your seafood craving.

Constitution Seafoods Menu with Prices 8 Seafood Way Unit 1, Boston

Constitution seafood as named has to be the greatest seafood supplier in southie. Fresh seafood from oyster to lobsters, and just about any type of fish and with todays economy I find the prices very reasonable. I would highly recomend constitution seafood to anyone looking for the freshest seafood. Five stars is not enough for this establishment.

Riverside Express Seafood – Menu with Prices – 130 E Memorial Blvd, Lakeland

If you are looking for a fancy seafood restaurant, don’t go here. But, if you are looking for delicious seafood you better stop here! Your food comes in styrofoam containers, but who cares, the food is good! We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality and freshness of the food. I had fried shrimp with hush puppies and it was so good…perfect seasoning and lightly breaded. My daughter and husband had the fried tilapia and fries and once again, lightly breaded and perfectly seasoned. My 3 year old grandson ate all of his fish! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the restaurant was clean. So bottom line, don’t miss this little gem in Lakeland.
