While their beer is great the service as always been lacking. Recently we went while the patio was open but without service, I asked the bartender if I could order food to go and drink/eat it on the patio and was told they’d bring my food to me (so I assumed yes). Turns out they weren’t letting people eat their food on the patio even if you ordered it to go. The staff was very rude about it and eventually sent a manager or another server to tell our group that we couldn’t eat outside. We’ve been patrons for years but with how many other breweries there are we’ll most likely be going elsewhere from now on due to the poor service

Scoreboard Grille – Menu with Prices – 2511 W Mason St, Green Bay

We came in with a party of 13 around 6, so we didn’t expect very quick service. The server Renee was really nice and patient with our group. The other lady working made rude comments about our group. And one of the cooks yelled at some of us who were about to walk out the door, because they were in his way to get to the back. Other than these two impatient workers, the food was great and our server was awesome!

U Pick 6 Public House – Menu with Prices – 4575 W Ridge Rd, Erie

Went there with a party of 12 on a Monday night. The restaurant was far from busy, so they should’ve been able to handle the size of the table–or so I thought. From the start, the service was horrible. Waitress took drink orders right away but we waited nearly 15 minutes for them to come to the table. I as well as another guest walked by the bar on separate occasions–and there the orders sat at the waitress station. So it clearly wasn’t a problem with the bar staff. Meanwhile the waitress sat talking to the staff. That should’ve been the first clue to leave. Dinner came, albeit slow and cold. In fact it was brought partly by another waitress how apologized profusely for the poor service.. The order was also incomplete, and one of the dinners was simply not placed. It (a pizza) eventually came when we were done and ready to leave. Unfortunately the problems didn’t stop there. The waitress not only got the bills wrong but also charged the wrong cards for the orders (we were in a multiple check party). All told, it took over half an hour to check out! I’ve been to several Upick 6 restaurants. Never had I had such poor service as this one. If I could say that it was just a wait staff issue (new trainee, or some other issue), I’d probably go back. However that the manager didn’t even come over to offer an apology for the poor service speaks volumes to how this one was run and I’m not inclined to go back ever again. FOLLOW UP: After posting review I was contacted by the manager who after looking in to the matter was very contrite and apologetic. Had offered to make amends by sending out gift cards. Nearly 2 months later and they have not been received.

Bawarchi Biryani Point – Alpharetta Menu with Prices 2500 North Point Ct, Alpharetta

I had some food catered recently by this location in Alpharetta and both the service and food quality were very poor. I placed the order 2 days prior to the pickup and when I went to pick up the food, my order was NOT ready and the Manager told me that it wasn’t ready as I had not confirmed the order. I had actually offered a deposit for the catering, which the Manager did not want. After waiting for 30+ minutes for the order, I came home to find out that the order was not the same as what I had initially ordered and agreed to with the Manager. When I went back to the restaurant and complained, the Manager was rude and did not do anything to fix it, but infact offered to remake the same poor food and charge me again. I will NEVER ever give this restaurant any of my business going forward. C- grade at best!! Other Bawarchi locations are much better in Atlanta, so avoid this Alpharetta location.

SouthPark Grill – Menu with Prices – 4300 Congress St, Charlotte

I am going to start of immediately and say that Quentin(manager) is and was very rude to our Group of Women this past Saturday Night(8/10). We had a reservation for 9:30 but arrived around 8:15-8:30pm and asked could we still be seated. And yes we were because the restaurant was empty besides a family of 4 or 5. The restaurant closes at 10 so we were happy we got there before time. Quentin instructed the hostess on where to seat us(behind the family of 5). He turned out to also be our Server. From the time we had any questions and ordered, Quentin was very short with us and not welcoming at all. He did give us some insight about the sides but we had to inquire about the Fish of the day amongst other things. He wasn’t very forthcoming. We ordered. I ordered the Salmon which was ok, my girlfriend ordered the Pork Chop and as per usual when we dine out we sample each other’s food(it was 5 of us). Immediately I tasted her Pork Chop and told her it was salty, she said yes I thought that too. She then gave another friend a piece and she had the same reaction. Eventually when Quentin came back she told him about the saltiness of the PC. He immediately asks her “well what do you want me to do about it?” If you would’ve said something before you finished I could have done something about it! What!!!!!! There clearly was meat on the PC. We each had a sliver. You couldn’t finish it because your pressure would’ve been sky high. So she asks for the manager, and clearly stated that she is going to pay for her meal, that she just wants to let them know that the food is salty. Quentin states he is the manager. And still was rude. Ok so fast forward to him coming back to bring another drink that I ordered for a friend because she didn’t want to deal with his rudeness, another friend ordered the Crab-cakes which tasted like fish cakes. There were two of them, she ate half of one. He asked her was she done, she states yes and tells him she didn’t like them. Bill time!!! He removes the crab cakes from her bill and the PC from the other meal. He brings out my cake, they sing to me. Gathers their cash and cards to pay for the meal and my Pork Chop friend asks Quentin was it too late and possible to order a soda to go? Old Mr. Quentin says No, but then rolls his eyes as he’s walking away from the table. We are through at this point and it’s closing time. Quentin never said thank you to us as he did the table of Five seated in front of us. He addressed that man by his name. He said “have a good evening Mr. so and so”. But our group of 5 Women he just turned on the lights!!!!! How freaking rude.

First Watch – 94 Hundred Shea – Now Open! – Menu with Prices – 9325 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale

Thought I would come in to support the new restaurant, I sat at the bar alone (no one else was at the bar), I ordered a salad without dressing and the server brings out the wrong salad with dressing on the side, then when she brings me the right salad, she brings it with the dressing on the salad, for the kicker.. when she finally bring the right salad with the dressing on the side I asked for a box and started to pack to go and under the first part was the original salad with the dressing on haha right how embarrassing to know their staff would do this, so the linemen used the same salad. When asked for a manager that girl goes over to my server and tells her first then goes to the manager’s area which is so unprofessional then the linemen all are staring at me when the manager does arrive. I said look at your staff right now, he apologized I asked if I could pay for my drink and I wanted to leave he said he would remake my salad, but at this point does anyone trust that the staff would not do anything to your food, you would hope that wouldn’t happened especially in Scottsdale. When I went into my hair salon after I told them what happened and the girls said they have ordered there twice and there food has been wrong every time and when they went to pick up the correct order the staff was rude. I will not be coming back to this location and I will be telling everyone I know and also writing on yelp. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and what is sad to remake a salad does not come out of the linemen’s paycheck so why couldn’t they just have done it right in the first place. To my server, if you can’t remember one order please use an ordering pad, it was not busy and I was a party of one! When the staff looks at you like it was my fault when it clearly was the incompetent SERVER who was at fault.

Mucha Lucha Taco Shop – Menu with Prices – 1530 S Val Vista Dr, Gilbert

Is there new owners or something? My last experience here was just excellent, but man this time was completely different. I guess me and my brother were bugging them ordering our food. The man working couldnt have been more condescending and the women couldnt wait to get to the back. I didn’t even order any food for myself or my son because my wifes order irritated them enough so I said screw it. My brothers wet burrito came out dry and he couldnt really saying about it because they rushed off as soon he paid. Two people were in there when we showed up so it was definitely not busy. Idk what their problems were but it was more then enough for me and my brother to never ever eat at this restaurant again. Also to the women worker, when you roll your eyes try looking away so the customer cant constantly see you doing. Just fyi for the next guy…

Tadka Banquet & Catering – Menu with Prices – 3535 W Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus

I have been going to Tadka for many years and have enjoyed the food and service until the past 2 times I have gone there. Last week we went there for dinner and the female waitress was very rude to me. I am a white and my husband is Indian. She would not look or talk to me. When ordering our food all of the conversation was directed to him and never to me even when I was ordering. When we left she smiled and said good bye to him and when I walked by she looked the other way and never said a word. We went there tonight for dinner and on the way there we were talking about her and hoping she was not there. Unfortunately she was and she was our waitress. Again she would not look my direction or talk to me, always looking the other direction. When our food came and we ordered many different things so we could leftovers home. When she placed the food down the first thing out of her mouth when naming the food was what I ordered but it was not there on the table – confusing!!! After several minutes I asked where my food was and she looked around and then she went back and got it. When it arrived you could tell it had been laying around for a while, it had the cold film on top of the curry. I asked another server if she was a regular employee or an owner. She is the sister of the owner, I was told that they have had many complaints but nothing will done about her poor attitude to customers. The table behind was also complaining about her poor service to each other. I will never allow her to wait on me again, ok threat me rude. I think she has some racist tendencies and it’s going to drive there customers away. All of the other wait staff have always been great.

EagleMonk Pub and Brewery – Menu with Prices – 4906 W Mt Hope Hwy, Lansing

My friend and I went on a quick trip to visit breweries in Grand Rapids and stopped at EagleMonk on the way home. Honestly, their beer was the best of the entire trip! We were the first people there of the day and sat quickly at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and helpful to choose one of many beers on their list. We both each got a flight, and the first beer I tried was my favorite of the whole trip! It was the Instigator, and even though the description said winter, I thought it was still not too heavy. Both of us enjoyed our flights while we hung out chatting with the staff and other patrons who stopped in. Everyone was extremely friendly, and the bartender was helpful to give us information about other breweries in the area and talked with us about other Michigan breweries. He also gave us a few additional samples for free while we waited for him to fill our growlers. The space is a decently sized inside and their outdoor patio is dog friendly and awesome. I was sad that we were just passing through because I would have loved to stay, drink more beer, and eat some of their pizza because it looked and smelled delicious!

The Slyder House – Menu with Prices – 4000 San Fernando Rd, Glendale

Now I know why this place is ALWAYS EMPTY every time I drive by it. My family & I have been there a couple times and the food was okay. Today I took my 8 year old son to eat there, we asked for the restroom code to use it before they order their usual order. The cashier said in a very aggressive tone that only paying customers can use the restroom and had my debit card in my hand ready to buy food after my son used the restroom. The customer service was HORRIBLE!! As always, the place was completely EMPTY and the cashier’s name is Natalie, she was incredibly RUDE and she called her manager named Robert who was even more RUDE. With the horrible treatment that I and my poor hungry son received, we definitely did not purchase any food and left and promised to never come back and the manager replied with many rude sarcastic things. I only wished I could have recorded the whole ordeal as this was truly a DISAPPOINTING experience. Shame on the employees and the supposed “manager” who were completely UNPROFESSIONAL, they should be fired from their job and maybe then they will have customers. PLEASE READ all the BAD REVIEWS as they are true!!! I hope that with my honest review and sharing my experience it will save someone from having a bad experience like ours. I hope the OWNER reads my review and takes it into consideration.

The Brewhouse – Menu with Prices – 229 W Montecito St, Santa Barbara

Came in with a group of 11 for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and sat outside. Asked for waters for the table and the female server brought us 4 waters. We asked for several more waters and she muttered ” I’ll bring them as long as you drink them ” When it came time to order we asked that the checks be divided 4 ways and she said that’s it’s written bottom of the menu that no split checks for groups larger than 8. She was right about this. We politely asked if she can make a one time exception and she flat out said no. I asked her if she can make these type of decisions on behalf of the business and she said yes. (Some kids in their 20s act like they own the place they work at) I asked to talk to a manager and I can see the gears turning in her head as she was trying to think of an excuse. She was starting to say I can’t see a manager but that cannabis fried brain of hers kicked into second gear and came up with “there is no manager here today”. I should have replied back, “can I speak to an adult who works here at least”. Next she said that we have been rude to her from the moment we walked in. And this is where it gets good. I told her about her comment about her bringing water as long as we drink them and how that was rude and I was offended. She replied back that we can just leave. We immediately got up and left and this business lost out of a good $300+ revenue. Since I travel for work, I eat out a good about of times a week. I’ve only left restaurants because they are too busy and can’t get service. This is the first time a wait staffer has caused us to leave. I know this waitress is not a good representation of this business, staff, or management. I feel this review is warranted to let the owner know that they need to re-evaluate her employment or put her through some training courses to correct her skill sets needed to succeed in the service industry.

Main Event Knoxville – Menu with Prices – 9081 Kingston Pike, Knoxville

I really do not like posting negative reviews, but feel I should give a heads up for all those going to visit. I went with my husband and 4 kids. We paid for an hour of bowling, which ended in the middle of the 10th frame… with no warning!! Not sure why the computer would not alert you of the diminishing time, but it didn’t. Then, went to eat. We were approached by an employee who told us we could sit anywhere. We sat at a long table. After a few minutes, we were approached by a different employee who informed us that there was no server there and we would have to move…. to 2 small booths, clearly not enough space to fit all 6 of us. A server came over and said she would have to get manager permission for a different table… and told us we could go back to the same table we had just been sitting at. At this point, I tried to order a beer. I had just been to the dmv for a new license with the star on it, and they issued me a paper license. The server said it was policy not to accept paper licenses! I told her I have my other license, but the dmv had put a hole punch in it. After the server spoke with the manager, they would not honor either! Frustrated, we left. Yes, there are a lot of activities for families to do, however the poor service we received ensured that we will not be back, and will let others know about the way we were treated.

The Mecca Sports Bar and Grill – Menu with Prices – 1134 N Vel R. Phillips Ave, Milwaukee

Very disappointed in our visit. We attended the Backstreet Boys concert on a weeknight and when I seated, I was given an “event menu” – this menu had a fraction of the items on the regular menu and had NONE of the items our group planned to eat (steak frites, tacos, any other entree besides burgers or fried chicken sandwich). Eventually we ordered and it took forever to get our food – other tables nearby placed their order after us and got their food before us. Finally, food came to our table and it was ice cold and incomplete – only 2 of us 3 got food. Mine was wrong on top of being cold, had to be sent back. You would think if a place has an “event menu” (even though you were built across from a Venue and your every day is an event day!) that it would at least come out correctly, quickly, and hot. We were there for 1.5 hours and couldn’t wait to leave to get inside the Forum to be able to get more food because we were so hungry. At no point did a manager come by to apologize for anything and the poor server (who was friendly but new) had a horrible section of tables seemingly divided by the stairs to the next level so she wasn’t around frequently and seemed frantic when she was. In short, very disappointed that a place built across from the Forum couldn’t handle a concert crowd with their regular menu and that no one seemed to care about our bad experience. I will NOT be back as there are many other options in the surrounding area.
