I dream of Misaki sushi because it truly meets a diner’s demands for high-quality sushi, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Nestled in the Stanley Marketplace, they have a variety of seating which includes tables or at the sushi bar. I highly recommend seating at the sushi bar, so you can talk to the chefs and see how your food is being made. I won’t specifically point out which sushi to get because you can’t go wrong with ANY of them. There are several appetizers that I want to highlight. I love karaage and have had exceptional ones from NYC. The ones served at Misaki can be compared to the ones I’ve had in NYC. The surprise appetizer was their black-cod miso yaki. The cod had been steamed in a miso sauce and it simply melted in my mouth. I didn’t have a single dish I didn’t like. When compared to a well-established and loved sushi place in Denver, I believe Misaki outranks them simply because of the value to quality of the dishes and service I got. Ever since I went, I have convinced any of my friends who want to get sushi to go there!

Miso Sushi Menu with Prices 8019 Menaul Blvd NE Suite A, Albuquerque

4.75 STARS. As a sushi snob originally from California but living in ABQ 30+ years, I keep hoping for amazingly excellent sushi and Miso Sushi comes very, very, very close! The QUALITY of fish was amazing. Buttery, silky, smooth. Not a sinew anywhere. The absolutely superb quality of the fish will have me coming back repeatedly. The sushi rolls were artistically prepared when called for (i.e. rainbow roll). The plating design perfectly captured a sense of simple beauty. Even the wasabi was plated in a delicate swirl rather than the usual lump. The complements to the dish were excellent. The ice tea is a fragrant white tea and clearly fresh-brewed. No Lipton here. The broth of the miso soup was the best I’ve ever had–not overly salty and just a touch sweet. The salad blossomed with fresh, crisp, cold greens and a delightful miso/salty/sweet/vinegary dressing. My qualms (if you can even call them that) are minor. The fish on the nigiri was not quite as cold as I prefer. The sushi rice isn’t as “sticky” as it needs to be and tends to fall apart a bit too easily. When you try to dunk nigiri in soy sauce the Japanese way (fish down), the piece doesn’t hold together as well as it could. If you dunk “American” style (rice down), you can lose a chunk of the rice. (And for super-nitpicky stuff: They don’t have low-sodium soy sauce and the only artificial sweetener is saccharin.) The menu has many non-sushi items (tempura, soba, teriyaki) so you can bring your non-sushi friends. If you know sushi restaurants, you know that nigiri in combo dishes is always “chef’s choice” but the menu probably should mention that for newcomers. Service was friendly and attentive, but to be fair, Monday at lunch we were the only customers. (Waitstaff and busstaff were all fluent in English, in case that matters to you.) Decor is simple and immaculately clean. Calm music. As we were alone, I can’t comment on noise level. Two people, two rolls, 5 pieces of nigiri, 1 ice tea: total less than $40 including tip. For sushi with fish this good: bargain! I will absolutely be back and think ABQ sushi fans should try it!

Fujisan Sushi Menu with Prices 1216 Harris Ave, Bellingham

Wonderful new little sushi restaurant. Iâ??ve been there two times since my first try. Very very clean, quick service and excellent fresh food.. . Iâ??ve had the wonderful octopus, tempura shrimp appetizers, small house salad, the 5 piece sashimi (bigger pieces than others), sushi, miso soup, and the teriyaki eel and rice bowl. I can attest that ALL were the best, just excellent. Best of all, good quality at a lower fair price!. . This is my sushi place now instead of Blue Fin Sushi, I find the value is much better and quality is just as good while they have some different things than Blus Fin.. . I highly recommend, you wonâ??t be disappointed.

Tibet Bowl & Sushi – Menu with Prices – 50 Main St, Salt Lake City

Sad to say this place is pretty terrible, i love nepalese food especially momo, unfortunately every component of the momo was bad, the dumpling shell was too thick and bread-y tasting, the meat filling had an offputting old tinge taste to it, and the sauce although it smelled excellent didnt have much flavor to it at all and was kinda creamy like tikka masala sauce or something, i didnt try the sushi but that should have been the red flag from the get go, sushi and nepalese food do not go together just like sushi and chinese food dont go together how do people not understand this!!!

Philip Sushi – Menu with Prices – 9475 Philips Hwy, Jacksonville

New to JAX so I’m not sure how convenient this location is for the people that live here. But Phillip Sushi is a nice pit stop for those who are randomly craving for some sushi along their travels. Loved the soft piano music they play in the background. The interiors of the restaurant are already nice to begin with, so the music adds to the ambiance. The service was quick. Moment I walked in, the host greeted my right away offering me any seat that I would like. I was the only one there, sure, but it was still nice. I ordered the Miso Soup, Fried Crab appetizer, and their version of the dragon roll. All of it was delicious. The Fried crab was crispy and meaty with crab and the dragon roll tasted great. The avocado, the shrimp, the rice, all of it seemed like it was made fresh for me. Sushi places can taste the same after while. Especially when you’ve been a long time fan of it, but this place stands out from the already saturated sushi market.

Mac’s Sushi – Menu with Prices – Erin Mills Town Centre, 5100 Erin Mills Pkwy, Mississauga

I was struggling with whether I should give this place 3 stars or 4 stars, but in the end, I went with 4 stars and I will tell you why. Overall, the sushi is just ok – very underwhelming when compared to the sushi you get at a restaurant. However, this isn’t a sit down sushi restaurant where food is made to order. It’s a “fast food” sushi takeout place in a mall food court. The sushi is made throughout the day and kept in pre-made trays that you just grab and pay for at the cash register. It’s very quick, easy, and convenient. Anyways, the sushi is not the greatest, but when compared to other pre-made to go sushi trays (like the ones you may pick up at like a Metro, Sobey’s, or Loblaws), this sushi is much better than those. The rice is sometimes dry but the fish is ok and the whole meal is acceptable – even borderline good, but not quite there. The main reason I keep coming back is it’s cheaper than going to a sit down sushi place, and if you catch the End of the Day Special, you’ll get a lot of sushi for a good price. The special usually begins a few hours before the mall closes. In addition, they have given me free food at this location as a thank you when I would buy a lot of sushi all at once. Tonight, I took advantage of their End of Day Special and purchased two trays of sushi for $14 that would have easily cost $20+ if I got it at a restaurant. So, in spite of the mediocre sushi, I must admit the End of Day Special, the great service, convenient location, and the fact that it’s better than other pre-made sushi places makes this location one of my regular places to grab sushi. So for me, this is a 4 star place (but barely).

Flaming Grill & Supreme Buffet – Menu with Prices – 1501 Forest Ave, Staten Island

If the prices were any higher, it would be a one- two stars. But for the price, its definitely worth it. We got there at 3:20 (10 minutes before lunch ends) the prices are about $10 for lunch and $14 for dinner. Waitresses convinced us to pay for the dinner price cause for dinner time, they bring out about 10 new dishes that are for dinner time only. So we agreed to pay for the dinner price. At 3:30, they bring out the dinner exclusive dishes like oysters, crabs, shrimps etc and they put a sign that says ” for dinner customers only” in front of the pot but tbh I’m pretty sure a lot of people ignore the sign and just get it- nobody’s looking. Didnt get a chance to try the hibachi cause no one was at the station. I think they were on lunch break. And the floors feel gross- like very oily, sticky, slippery. Also the cups the ice water came in was a little dirty on the outside…. But- they do have a pretty decent variety of food for just $14! The quality is not amazing, its not even good- its average at best. But for the price I would say that’s pretty good

MEGUMI SUSHI – Menu with Prices – 20 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto

What a lovely casual sushi spot – perfect to eat at the small counter or take out. Megumi Sushi offers one of the tastiest and freshest sushi in the Roncesvalles area at a higher quality than other sushi restaurants we visited. This restaurant is chef owned and operated – which is a huge bonus because you know they care about the food they are serving. The owner and his staff – I believe his mother – are incredibly welcoming and really want you to enjoy your experience while visiting their establishment. Their prices are reasonable. They have generous portioned lunch specials which includes salad and miso soup. My daughter, who has a healtyh appetite wasn’t able to finish her meal, which made me very happy. When in the area, drop in at Megumi Sushi, take in the owner’s smile and care and order yourself some tasty and fresh sushi.

Ginza Sushi Fusion Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 13216 N 7th St Ste B2, Phoenix

This is probably one of my favorite sushi restaurants for the friendliness of the owners and staff who always make you feel welcomed as guests and friends. All of the menu items I’ve tried are great. The bar staff was delightful and we have never experienced long waiting times for food or drinks. As a Unfranchise business owner, another thing I like to do is support local businesses and Ginza is family-owned and operated. I’ve had their tofu plate, several of their sides, the miso and cocktails. All of tasted great. I have always been a bit sushi fan but in recent years I transitioned to plant based eating as an Ovo-vegan not many sushi houses carry a variety of vegan options that I can really say enjoy as much as the plates I’ve ordered at Ginza. We also have never had long wait times for seating. The atmosphere is casual but elegant with a fun outdoor tiki patio. Definitely worth trying.

Yu-Mi Sushi – Menu with Prices – 940 Cedar Rd #111, Chesapeake

I love this place because of many reasons! First, it’s 5 minutes away from my house. Second, they deliver! And finally, food is so good! It looks like they recently hired new people and I’m glad they did. Every time I was here, there was only one girl taking care of costumers, and I have to say she does a good job but now it’s even better! I recommend yakisoba, volcano roll, their miso soup is tasty too and they have a lot of sushi options. This little restaurant is always clean, service is fast compared to other sushi places, they have great chefs and they have special menus! Beautifulâ?? decor and lots of choices! Here is where I come every time I don’t wanna cook lol I wish there were more places like this in the Chesapeake area but I’m glad this is the closest to my house and the best so far!

Sushi Cruise – Menu with Prices – 2625 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas

My family has been enjoying delicious sushi at this location for over 20 years! Sushi Cruise continues the tradition of excellence with their friendly staff, very skilled chefs and fresh and delicious food. The atmosphere is delightful and the presentation impeccable. But above all else, the rolls are FANTASTIC!!! I live in Utah and literally have friends from California and New York that also make it a point to stop in here every time they’re in Vegas. Plus, my two friends, chefs at the Paris and Bellagio, get their sushi here. Get custom-prepared rolls [we like to add crunch and remove spicy mayo], plus the extra touches [edamame, miso soup, eel sauce for dipping and even mochi for dessert] all for a great price. You owe it to yourself to escape the chaos of the Strip and get a better taste of Las Vegas at this place the locals love!

215 East 68th St LP – Menu with Prices – 215 E 68th St, New York

Super tasty! There are so many Halal food trucks in the area that when you want some delicious street food you have to be up for Halal – which is usually great but too many times in a row and the greatness wears off (at least for me). Thanks to Terry and Yaki I get to have something different that is fast and tasty. I love Teriyaki and finding it in NYC is difficult. Fortunately, Terry and Yaki does a fantastic chicken teriyaki bowl!

Kappo Miyako – Menu with Prices – 92 Corporate Park H, Irvine

Walking in this place is very small but cute. They have Monday deals where you can get 3 rolls for $20! Which is great ? Ordered the curry katsu which came out very hot and the katsu crispy. I don’t think the chicken/pork was thick enough to remember the texture or juiciness. It’s smaller than CoCo Ichibanya but still a great portion for around $9-10. Came with a yummy side salad and miso soup (which waiter didnt bring out and said “people don’t usually want it” when we noticed at the end of our meal that we didn’t get it). Miso was yummy and came out burning hot which is nice but out of my excitement I burned by tongue. Tofu is maybe instant? But it is cut in 1cm x 1cm which is really small, but thats ok. We ordered one tempura roll. The batter is very thick, similar to if you were to order fried ice cream (somewhere). It was just like eating crispy batter. It wasn’t bad but okay. Our spicy salmon roll was yummy, tasted like a california roll but with salmon. We got a yellow tail roll with jalapeño slices on top. I didn’t really enjoy it, I get skeptical about yellowtail at smaller, affordable shops because of the quality. But thats my opinion. But this place is forsure better than Kura Revolving Sushi.
