If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Came here on Mother’s Day last week for the first time. Our reserved table had folding patio chairs and there were spots all over the table cloth. Our waitress brought us waters in blue Solo cups and would not stop grabbing the rim of the glass where you put your mouth to drink. I asked for a straw and she brought over one but IT WAS NOT WRAPPED AND SHE DIDNT PICK THEM UP WITH NAPKINS! Holy health code violations. Even the coffee that had a handle was picked up by the rim right after she bussed a table with dirty dishes. I was appalled. The food was awful- cold eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc. The pastries and fruit were straight up Costco or King Soopers. THE HANDLES FOR THE FOOD THAT EVERYONE WAS TOUCHING WERE LAYING INSIDE THE CHAFFING DISHES IN THE FOOD! Each person was $26. Who is this place fooling?! First and last time here. Will never return in a million years. I was embarrassed that I took my mom here for Mother’s Day. Stick to being a bar and don’t even attempt food service. Especially for those prices.

aSIANA FOODS – Menu with Prices – 755 S Lemay Ave D3, Fort Collins

My daughter and I went today for the first time. She got the sushi burrito with salmon and I got the chicken adobo with steamed rice and veggies and miso soup. My daughter inhaled her burrito! She said it was so good and she loved the sauce that was in it. I enjoyed the chicken adobo. I wouldnt say that it’s authentic but almost seemed like a healthier version that I really enjoyed. I feel that the prices are fair…Ive seen reviews saying its not worth what you get and I would disagree. It was a very large serving for the chicken with sides and the sushi burrito is close to size and price for one you could get at king soopers, except at king soopers it usually sits out all day and here the owner makes it fresh! The point I feel like the restaurant is trying to make is healthy, fast asain foods and that is exactly what I got. So if you want healthy, fast, asain food then this is your place. Would have taken pictures but I was too hungry and devoured it all…lol

The Constellation Ice Cream – Menu with Prices – 10175 E 29th Dr, Denver

Ummm… Guess I don’t get the hype. Or maybe my taste buds aren’t like others who rave about this place. Or maybe, just maybe, the ice creams are mediocre but the cool looking airplane storefront is what makes people think the ice creams are the sh*ts. I had salted nutella & my companion, salted Oreos. We tasted vanilla which was again mediocre. Just a few steps away, at king soopers, you can get blue bell ice cream if your gem is vanilla. Anywho, back to my salted nutella, it was ok… But I couldn’t finish the small scoop. The salted Oreo was more like salt ice cream, no Oreos. Perhaps even bigger issue for me was the texture & temperature of the ice creams. It had distinct lard-like texture, super thick, heavy, fatty (not in a good way) stuff that doesn’t melt beautifully on your tongue but instead it kinda sits on your tongue & sticks. Perhaps due to this, the ice cream didn’t feel cold, but instead just kinda lukecold, is that a word? Well, I’m using it anyway, cause it was exactly that, lukecold. Do you like lukewarm soup when you were expecting piping hot, steamy delicious soup? Yeah, me neither. Ice cream should be cold, delicious, melt beautifully, with good flavor & texture. Unfortunately, that’s not what I got. For the same price, or for a little less, I will b frequenting the king soopers for tried & true ice creams like blue bell & Hagan daaz. I’m disappointed that the ice creams were so bad at this beautiful store which took forever to go up. Service was good.

Clean Juice – Menu with Prices – 300 N Front St, Wilmington

I was with my friend Angela trying to find some healthy places in downtown Wilmington for our weekly get together. I wish we never stopped in this establishment. I got a Green 14 bowl and a juice in the fridge. There was a girl that took my order and she was very short with me when she took me and my friends order. When they were making my Green 14 bowl she wore no gloves until she had to touch the eggs to put them on my bowl. When I looked over the glass there was nasty brown stuff on the eggs, so I told her I did not want eggs on my Green 14 bowl. There were fruit flies EVERYWHERE and flies touching the produce. I will NEVER step foot in this place again and I recommend that to everyone. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, do better.

Tin Can Cafe – Menu with Prices – 307 S Myrtle Ave, Clearwater

Living in the area, I’ve passed by this cafe dozens of times and thought it looked kind of interesting and always had a crowd inside. Today a friend and I ventured out For breakfast and I suggested we try the Tin Can café. The ambience has all of the Cozy kitschy aesthetic that is missing from most fast food chain restaurants. There aren’t a lot of tables but we grabbed a communal table next to an older couple that were enjoying their breakfast. They have quite a few “skillet” dishes and I decided to try one that had sour cream and salsa. The dish was topped with two eggs which were cooked beautifully and underneath were cheese chop meat onions Green peppers and potatoes. The salsa was straight out of a jar and didn’t have much taste and the skillet dish was tasty until I got halfway through and realized it was sitting in a puddle of grease. I was looking forward to some crispy potatoes but in fact they two were soggy because they were sitting in the grease. The coffee was passable and at least had half-and-half available on the table. My friend ordered eggs and Italian sausage with fried potatoes. Upon taking his first bite of sausage he immediately said they tasted greasy. I tasted a piece of the sausage and agreed that chopping the sausage into pieces and heating it up on a grill not only made them greasy but dried out the meat. His potatoes were also limp and greasy and didn’t have much crispness to them. The gal serving us was very sweet and accommodating and offered great service. I’m sorry to say I don’t think I’ll be returning.

C.R. Chicks (Village Blvd.) – Menu with Prices – 731 Village Blvd Ste 108, West Palm Beach

Went there for the 1st time tonight. Food was awful. rotisserie chicken was good. Barbecue chicken sandwich was awful. The salad tasted like it was half frozen and the dressing with so awful we had to go request a different dressing. The rice and beans were cold. all of our food came to the table except for my CHICKEN!!! had to go ask for it and they didn’t know what I ordered. Macaroni and cheese with 4 cheese and bacon was God-awful there was no bacon (I brought it to the manager and asked if there was bacon in it and he said yes?) in the macaroni and cheese and tasted like the pasta came right from the water and into a processed powdered cheese sauce!!!! I actually give it back to a manager and told him to eat it!!! Save your money go next door to Publix and get a rotisserie chicken and a bunch of sides for half the price and twice the quality!!!

Carla’s Cafe Menu with Prices 9809 S Union Ave, Bakersfield

Another great breakfast! When we arrived on Saturday just after 8am, there was exactly one empty table. We grabbed it & waited for it to be cleaned. Our server was very nice, although very busy. I ordered a biscuit & gravy, two eggs scrambled with cheese, and avocado. It was perfect! The gravy was sausage-y, although it didn’t have a lot of chunky meat in it. The biscuit was soft and fell apart in the gravy. They were generous with the cheese and avo. I did note that after about 5 minutes, the dish had turned cold, so I finished it that way. It was still good. My wife had a pancake with a side of potatoes and fruit. The potatoes were nice & crunchy, but she would have liked more flavor, maybe the addition of onions or peppers. The fruit was bananas, pears, and apples, and they were all fresh and perfectly ripe. She loved that! My son had the Full Hot Mess, a plate of biscuits and gravy with hash browns and a sausage patty. He ordered the patty spicy, and really liked that. He would have preferred the hash browns on the side, but overall he said it was an 8 out of 10 breakfast. They have exactly one bathroom stall for everyone. My wife stepped in to use it, and the previous occupant had peed all over everything. It was gross, although not Carla’s fault. We told Carla, and she was instantly in there cleaning it. This is indicative of Carla’s commitment to quality. We’ll be back!

Magnolia Bakery – Menu with Prices – 1412 N Magnolia Ave, Ocala

Make sure there’s cash in your wallet because that’s the only method of payment they take. There is however an ATM inside the bakery. Magnolia Bakery serves hot & cold deli subs and pastries. This day I ordered the antipasto salad. Unfortunate for me (and other customers) they were out of roast beef, mortadella, and artichokes that I am aware of. The salad was skimpy compared to others but that was fine. Problem was I became violently ill the rest of the day after ingesting it. This was the only food I had eaten for the day. In thinking back, I remember the employees taking cash from customers and not washing their hands afterwards. They were rubbing their unclean hands on the meats, touching the pastries and scooping food out of bowls with their bare hands. Very unsanitary and not something I care to witness again.

Hyatt Regency Green Bay – Menu with Prices – 333 Main St, Green Bay

I am very picky about out hotel room. It must be clean, quiet, and comfortable. When we checked in, Laurie helped us. Our room looked a little run down. We went back to Laurie and asked for a different room. Without hesitation, she assigned us another room. I didnâ??t love the location of the 2nd room. Again, we head back to Laurie. By this time most associates would be a little frustrated with me. Thankfully, she was kind as always. She talked with another girl Noely, and they got us in the perfect room! Room 829 is perfect! You can see the river, itâ??s quiet, large, modern, comfortable, with a nice bed.We forgot a few items at home, and the front desk brought us the items we forgot. They brought everything very quick!Breakfast buffet was average. Scrambled eggs (omelette on weekends), bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereal, pastries. We needed to print a document for a wedding and Neal E. came over to help us.He was one of the managers. He was kind and genuinely cared about the guests. Our total was $650 for 4 nights with breakfast.Lambeau Field is appx 15 minutes away. The associates are really special here!I loved our stay here!

The Boca Beach House Menu with Prices 887 E Palmetto Park Rd, Boca Raton

I ate here in early July while visiting family (wrote a review that night but it never posted? Curious) We arrived Tuesday morning around 9- there was only two tables with a total of 4 people in the restaurant. The waitress took quite a while to even come over to us ( we let her know we would be sitting outside) She did apologize for taking so long – the real problem here is the food and the prices. This restaurant charges resort pricing for diner style breakfast- the location, the decor nor the food is worth $20 for an omelette. It’s outrageous- but being short on time we ordered. I ordered Eggs Florentine- it was the most disgusting breakfast I have ever had. I have never had food sent back and taken of the bill- this was the first time. The poached egg was freezing cold- the cook must have poached them at an earlier time and then refrigerated to be re-heated. Well the cook forgot and it came out cold, on a bed of cold- hardly cooked spinach, no tomato, on a cold English muffin. To make it worse it was drowning in the most awful and cold hollandaise sauce I have ever had. The waitress was at least nice about removing the item from the bill. I would never return and would direct my local or tourist friends to a number of breakfast places with better prices and MUCH better food.

Submarine King – Menu with Prices – 261 W Olive Ave, Burbank

They might be KING of menu selection but KING of making Subs they are not! I was fooled again by Yelpers and all these 5 Star ratings; the place was clean and service was friendly but the sandwich I had was about one step up from Subway which I despise. Meatball and Italian Sausage (small) ($7.57) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/submarine-king-burbank-2?select=U3X0NCWQ97FHpZ4GOGaZBQ&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg First off this should be called Meatball and Italian Sausage Bits & Pieces, yeah, I was disappointed they slice up the meatball and sausage, the ONLY reason people do this is to s-p-r-e-a-d o-u-t the limited amount of meat they put into the sandwich https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/submarine-king-burbank-2?select=vFBwhYKVSeu_y1XPufV_Vg&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg and the Mozzarella Cheese is shredded too, the bread resembles a French Baguette in diameter but was soft, they did toast it which gave it a nice crunch https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/submarine-king-burbank-2?select=Nwb7_1Ad-NEO_OlQjTO58w&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg the limited amount of Italian sausage I got was pretty good but the meatball pieces seemed to be the frozen type/taste. Maybe they do a deli sandwich better? But I don’t think I’d return to find out.

Break Fast Grill – Menu with Prices – 310 Polk Dr, Tallahassee

We were headed home this morning and I spotted the word Break on a sign set back from the main road. Curious if the rest of the sign said Fast, we turned around to check it out.It did say Break Fast. And Buffet. Since it was still morning and we hadn’t had breakfast, we had to try it.The restaurant was new. It’s been open about a week. The building is a bit run down but the interior looked clean. There were several two-top high tables along the windows as well as regular tables and chairs in the dining room. We first sat at a high table but when the server brought over the pancakes she suggested we might prefer a larger table. Good suggestion. For $7.97 you get an all you can eat breakfast. Coffee and drinks are extra. Eggs, pancakes and waffles are made to order. All the other items were on a serve yourself buffet. You can check the website to see all that’s on the menu. Salad items were available at breakfast. Ice cream is also available all the time. The two most interesting things to note is that the sausage gravy and grits were delicious. These are two of my least favourite breakfast foods at a restaurant but I always like to sample them at a new place. Their grits and sausage gravy were delicious. The grits didn’t taste like water and the gravy had big chunks of meat in it.The server came over to see if we wanted waffles and pancakes. I ordered a waffle, Walter ordered pancakes. They were perfect. The server was exceptionally friendly and almost mother-like as she kept insisting we needed to tell her to tell the chef to ‘drop some more pancakes.’ Cold cereal and fresh fruit were also available.I am looking forward to going back here to try their lunch buffet.

Timbers At the Lodge – Menu with Prices – 7050 Del Webb Blvd, Roseville

Timbers is a new favorite spot for some friends of mine who recently moved to Roseville. While visiting last Sunday I had to try it out for myself. We took advantage of the Sunday brunch and it was delicious. We arrived around 11a, usually prime brunch time, but even though they were very busy we were seated almost immediately. Our waiter was awesome..he had coffee and mimosas ready for us within seconds of us sitting down. They also provide a few pastries to munch on while we looked over our menus which was great because who doesnt love pastries? I went with the classic Eggs Benedict and side of fruit, and while it was very flavorful the eggs were more hard boiled than poached. My friend experienced the same issue and pointed it out to the waiter who immediately whisked our plates away to have them remade. While I appreciated it, the 3rd member of our party was finished with his meal before we received ours so we didn’t exactly get to eat together. But the eggs were perfectly poached the second time around so we were happy. Overall it was a great experience even with the hiccup. Good food and service combined with the views of their beautiful golf course makes for a wonderful dining experience!
