Just to clarity; in this location they don’t sell margaritas or menudo or shrimp cocktails, and there’s no place to seat but they do have many food options like natural water, juices, smoothies, ice creams, tortas, nachos, esquites, etc. (So many of the pictures are actually of the other location, I assume). This location is at the mall but not in the food court area. So last Sunday I went shopping, I was not even hungry but the place got my attention by the big line of costumers waiting, and then a saw the menu… very accurate business name, I craved at least 5 things on their big wall menu, many options with chile, chamoy and fruits of course. Watch out! It will be picoso, at least what I had was (a cup of peanuts, cucumber, coconut, clamato). Everything was clean and fast.

Santa Fe Bite-ABQ Menu with Prices 3407 Central Ave NE, Albuquerque

I was looking forward to trying Santa Fe Bite and drove in from Rio Rancho. I was hungry and was eager to try “The Best Green Chile Cheeseburger” in the State of New Mexico. No one greeted my friend and I upon entering, so after waiting a bit, we sat ourselves at one of the tables. The server eventually came over with menus and asked what we wanted to drink. When drinks arrived, I asked some questions that I thought were fairly basic. I was interested in ordering their 10 oz. green chile cheeseburger, but wanted to know if I could substitute fries instead of their side of chips. The server did not know and had to ask his manager. When he returned, he informed me that substituting fries for the chips was not possible. The price of the burger and chips was $12.90. Fries I believe were $2.95 and were extra. No Substitutions! I tried to find their menu on line to be accurate, but their website, nor any other source, has their menu and prices. An article about the Albuquerque Santa Fe Bite location, mentioned that their menu would feature the same items at the same prices as Santa Fe. Yes they do. If I pay $12.90 + tax + tip for a green chile cheeseburger, I am expecting perfection. After all, isn’t this supposed to be the best green chile cheeseburger in the state? I ordered medium. I got well done. We had waited so long to get our meal, that I basically said “screw it” and ate it because I was so hungry and figured it would be another 30 minutes for them to make another one. It was dry and tasteless. Medium means pink throughout, mine was gray. The chips were cold. My friend ordered sweet potato fries, and for the amount extra charged, the quantity of fries was minuscule. No one ever came by to ask if everything was OK. Service was very slow and disorganized. It took me almost to the end of the meal to try and get someone to refill my water. Asking for the check took inordinately long. A party came in, sat down, looked at the menu, and left. Santa Fe prices in Albuquerque are not going to cut it! I realize they have not been open for very long, but they need to improve immensely if they are going to see me pay $12.90 for a green chile cheeseburger again.

Shintori Sushi – Menu with Prices – 3001 State St, Santa Barbara

The food is good. The owner’s attitude is super rude. She doesn’t know how to treat costumers. She doesn’t takes the time to explain or to be courteous she only wants your money, she wants you to finish your food fast so she could get the table clean up for the next costumer to sit down. The restaurant space is so crowded. THE OWNER IS RUDE. She argues with the costumers when they tried to explain to her what is going on. Seriously, she needs to learn how to deal with costumers since they are making her restaurant be alive. As the owner she has no experience of costumer service. This is the last time for me buying sushi at this place just because of her nasty attitude. Don’t believe it….go visit, you will see! lol

La michoacana newhall – Menu with Prices – 23762 Newhall Ave, Santa Clarita

I’ve been coming here at least once a week for the past 3 weeks. It all started with Mangonadas. Which is a cup with 2 scoops of your choice of sorbet, topped with chamoy, Chile, fruit, and spicy candies. I love having mine with either mango, pepino con Chile, or limon ice cream. They’re very refreshing, and the perfect amount of spicy, sweet and tart. Then I started getting paletas. I actually went today and bought 12.. if you buy 12, you get 1 free. So far, I have loved the pineapple, coconut (water), Cinnamon Toast Crunch, fruity pebbles, banana (tastes like the liquados my mom or grandma would make when I was little), mango con Chile, nuez, and so many others. I guarantee you will enjoy any flavor you choose. They’re all handmade, and SO DELICIOUS! I have also tried the hot Cheetos with cheese.. and wow. So good! There’s so many other things on their menu I want to try, so I’ll have to update my review later. Lastly, the place is very clean. The employees are all very nice and welcoming. I am excited to see that Canyon Country will be opening a location too!

Cocteleria La Palma Mariscos Y Mas – Menu with Prices – 1143 S 6th Ave, Tucson

I’ve been driving by this food truck/stand for about a year or two now and I have always wanted to stop by but I always seem to be too busy or not hungry. Today finally I saw the stand and decided to stop and grab something even though I wasn’t hungry. I ordered the Clamato Coctel recommended by the young lady at the cash register and it beyond exceeded my expectations!!! I thought they were going to pull out a premade coctel that had been sitting in the fridge but then I noticed one of the cooks slicing cooked shrimp, octopus and fresh vegetables. I asked if that was mine and he said yes! I was so delighted! The other guy poured the Clamato mixture in a cup over the freshly chopped seafood, onion, cucumber and avocado and they asked me of I liked spice which I do. It was delicious! So flavorful unlike other cocteles which have a watered down taste. I will definitely return! One of the ladies who I assume is the owner suggested I follow them on Facebook so that I know exactly when they will here or when they may gone at a private event. There have been a couple of times when I’ve driven by and they aren’t here so I definitely suggest checking first before driving down here.

The Map Room – Menu with Prices – 416 3rd St SE #8401, Cedar Rapids

First day in Iowa. Hungry for a burger. And I love, love, maps. I was between the havana (I’m cuban) or the el Paso (my wife new mexican and green chile is a thing). Waitress suggested I get the havana and the fries at el Paso (green chile, queso fresco). It was the best of both worlds. Chile was a little hot but still tourist grade. Which in iowa is probably right. The pork in the havana was smoked pulled. And totally amazing. The sandwich had all the right ingredients, swiss, yellow mustard, nice pickles. And the bun was upside down. Weirdly good. The bottom line, this place was so good I’m back for an aged cruzan rum drink. And they also carry the blackstrap. I should mention that service at lunch and at the bar this evening was outstanding. My cedar rapids spot.

La Colonial Tortilla factory – Menu with Prices – 212 N Copia St, El Paso

Outstanding burritos and tortillas! My mouth is watering from thinking about their freshly made burritos and tortillas. These burritos and tortillas are probably some of the best in town. Their tortillas are light and fluffy, straight up perfection! My favorite burrito is the picadillo. The ground beef has a great flavor. It tastes even better when you add some red or green chile in it. Watch out, their burritos are on the small side so you might be able to eat two or three at a time. I’d like to try their chile relleno burrito but I haven’t yet. I’m also interested in trying their tostada chips and chile con queso. I hear La Colonial sells out of their burritos fast so you have to go by 9 or 10 am. You can also call in your order. There’s nowhere to sit so you’ll have to eat in your car or destination. Take some cash too. Aside from burritos, they have tamales, tostadas, tacos and the prepared masa to make tamales at home. They close by 2 pm on weekdays and they aren’t open on weekends. Imagine if they closed later and opened on weekends?

Ramblin’ Cafe – Menu with Prices – 1420 2nd St, Santa Fe

This place has the best breakfast burritos and red chile I’ve ever had. The other food options are also great but the burritos are so good that I almost always get them. Both the red and green chile are on the spicier side, which is part of what makes them great. I usually get the breakfast burrito smothered with Christmas. It’s one of my all time favorite meals. Now that I’ve moved out of Sant Fe I spend all year looking forward to going to ramblin and getting their breakfast burrito. The service is also great and you can tell it’s a family owned business and the staff really cares about their customers. If you want to try some of the best red and green chile in New Mexico, check out Ramblin Cafe.

Burque’s Burgers and Dawgs Menu with Prices 2025 Ridgecrest Dr SE, Albuquerque

I stopped by to try it after driving by and noticing that it is now open. The interior is extremely clean and colorful with wall art inside with a local flavor that is consistent with the eclectic theme of the restaurant. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The website has information about the artists and documents the three different ways to order, online orders, phone orders, or ordering through a kiosk in the restaurant. I had the green chile cheeseburger with the Hatch chopped green chile. There are also homemade homestyle red and green chile with beef and beans. Both of those options would appear to be well suited for the hot dog options below. The burger was good on a bakery made bun, the patty was not frozen, both as stated in the menu. The patty was a bit small for the price. The cheese was good and melted. The chile was very mild but tasted good. There are a number of options on the menu which are varied from a typical local establishment that uses the title Burque, hamburgers and dogs. This would include a California chicken sandwich, an ultimate grilled cheese, which is made from two types of cheese, sliced apples, sprouts, lettuce and onion on Texas toast. There is also Mexican sweet and spicy street corn. On the burger side, there is a bacon guacamole cheeseburger, and a Swiss cheese mushroom burger. This all looks good. What will likely attract people are the foot-long hot dog options, straight from the New Mexico State Fair. This would include the enchilada dog, deep fried bacon chile cheese dog, Mexican dog and the Swiss cheese dog. For mapping purposes, the restaurant address is Ridgecrest, but it is the terminus of Ridgecrest where it ends, across the circle from Vamonos Pest and by Chevy on a Stick. It does not appear that you can enter the parking lot from Ridgecrest, as all of the entrances sem to be on Gibson or San Mateo. But you can park on Ridgecrest regardless.

Yu-Mi Sushi – Menu with Prices – 940 Cedar Rd #111, Chesapeake

I love this place because of many reasons! First, it’s 5 minutes away from my house. Second, they deliver! And finally, food is so good! It looks like they recently hired new people and I’m glad they did. Every time I was here, there was only one girl taking care of costumers, and I have to say she does a good job but now it’s even better! I recommend yakisoba, volcano roll, their miso soup is tasty too and they have a lot of sushi options. This little restaurant is always clean, service is fast compared to other sushi places, they have great chefs and they have special menus! Beautifulâ?? decor and lots of choices! Here is where I come every time I don’t wanna cook lol I wish there were more places like this in the Chesapeake area but I’m glad this is the closest to my house and the best so far!

NEVERIA ARCOIRIS – Menu with Prices – 1317 N 10th St, Lincoln

As a transplant from Arizona, I’m really picky about the places I eat Mexican food. This nevería never disappoints whether you go for a quick lunch, dinner, or snack. I personally like to refer to it as the “rainbow ice cream store” to my non-Spanish speaking friends since that is the English translation of the name! There are two locations- this one on 10th St is a full restaurant serving a large selection of food, ice cream and fruit cups. Food options range from my favorite tortas (sandwiches with your choice of meat, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, jalapeños, onions on a toasted bolillo roll) to your standard casual Mexican fare like tacos and enchiladas. They do offer seafood options like cocteles (shrimp cocktails) and siete mares (fish stew) as well. Drinks are large 32 ounce cups so you never feel like you didn’t get enough! If you are looking for a snack or sweet treat, they have something for you! One of my favorites is the delicious street corn from a tiny cup to a giant, corn extravaganza! This corn in a cup or, if you prefer, on the cob, is streamed corn mixed with mayo, lime, chile, and parmesan cheese. Also available are fruit cups full of mango spears, pineapple, watermelon, cucumber, jicama or a combination! Servers will add lime and tajin if that is your preference. They have a fair selection of unique ice cream flavors and offers options like mangonadas, mangos with chamoy, chile and lime, to milkshakes and sundaes. The other location does not offer to full range of menu items but does offer corn, fruit, and ice cream. Overall, I highly recommend and look forward to my next visit.

Chipotle Mexican Grill – Menu with Prices – 4116 Portsmouth Blvd, Chesapeake

I am writing today about the location in Chesapeake Square in Chesapeake, VA. I just got some food from there 5 minutes ago, but to be honest, it is probably the last time I will ever go there. First, the staff there is never very friendly, but today was an extreme. It was approximately 2:15pm so they were not busy. I walked in and one person was cleaning the floors and another was prepping food. As soon as me and another customer got there, the guy prepping food peeked his head in the back and asked for people to come to the line. He had to do this twice because no one came out the first time and there were now 5 customers in line waiting to be helped. When 4 people finally came out of the back, they were just chatting with each other and also rolling their eyes/making ugly faces at the guy who was calling for help. We finally start to get help, but no one was nice or even half paying attention to what we were asking for because they had to ask multiple times each. Once I got to the end of the line, prior to paying, they finally told me and the rest of the guests that there was no guacamole, no queso, no fajita veggies, and no chips. (I never would have ordered food in the first place had I known that because I wanted guacamole and queso, but most of all, I wanted a big bag of chips because to me, they are the best part!) After being extremely disappointed but alreadybhaving ordered my food, I tried to pay. The girl from the register had disappeared in the back and there were 3 of us waiting to pay when she finally came back out (on her phone too). Overall, I’m extremely upset at my entire visit today, to the point that I probably won’t go back to that location ever again (even though it’s 1mile from my house) but I will also reconsider going to any chipotle again (even though I’ve been a devout chipotle customer for 10+years) and unfortunately, I’m probably going to start looking into QDoba and the other options near me.

Kerostena Mediteranian Grill – Menu with Prices – 12546 Valley View St, Garden Grove

This place is fantastic!!! I just googled Mediterranean food near me and this was one of the places that popped up and despite how picky I am, I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed I ordered online and when I arrived I was greeted immediately (I always appreciate it when someone takes the time to say hello because it’s not always the case these days) and my food was ready and waiting for me! It smelled so good and the place was so clean and it had a friendly atmosphere so I decided to order some french fries and just ate my gyro sandwich while I waited. It didn’t take long to cook the fries (which were also fantastic) but I loved the sandwich so much that it was finished before they were even done. The owner noticed how fast I ate and commented on how hungry I must’ve been and gave me a free dessert which was really thoughtful (truth is I wasn’t even that hungry, the food was just so good that i didn’t want to put it down). I noticed him also go over to another table and kindly hand them dessert as well and I can’t tell you the last time I saw a business be so generous. This is how you get customers to become regulars, as I’ll definitely be back!
