I went there three times ;the employees are excellent except for the waitress. you are going to spend your money not to ask anything for free so it would be nice if she was less arrogant and rude. The food is not bad unless you order something fried because they use old, burned oil so the food does not taste or smell good. Baleadas is the only good thing there ,but that when they have flour to make them. In conclusion I do not return to this place. there are other Honduran restaurants around ,so I will try others instead.

Baleadas Express – Menu with Prices – 1486 W Spring Valley Rd, Richardson

I didn’t think this was was gonna be as big or as popular considering the reviews and the location. But on an off hour Saturday afternoon, it was pretty busy. And judging from all the Honduran-pride knick knacks they sell here, it seems to be “un encuentro catracho,” or a Honduran meeting place, for North Dallas. This is the second time I tried baleadas con carne asada in Dallas, and the meat was better flavored than the other place by the airport, but also a bit more gristle – so I’m not sure how to compare it exactly. But I had also forgotten to add eggs but I wasn’t having it for breakfast anyways. Overall, the baleada was a bit skimpy even though the fresh flour tortilla was large in size. Would I come back? I don’t know – I found the service a bit cold and I’m talking about two ladies, not just one, that manage the front end of the business – and I almost never complain about indifferent service anywhere. And I felt that the very affordable menu was also a bit smaller and limited compared to the other Catracho place near Love Field – although it expands in the weekends with their specialty soups (mondongo, caracol, etc). I also feel that the other place make their food with more love. If you want better Honduran food, and friendlier service, go to the other place. If you want a cleaner establishment and can forget about the rest of the things, then this one is definitely cleaner and more organized of the two, while also being more visibly appealing overall. But for me, that doesn’t really do it.

Restaurante Honduras La Pasadita – Menu with Prices – 201 S Belt Line Rd #101, Irving

We’re from Chicago, IL…I was in TX last week visiting my brother. My husband being from Honduras searched on Yelp for Honduran food. We found this small joint and decided to check it out. When we arrived, there was only 1 car in the parking lot so I thought the food mustn’t be so great I was so very wrong! As an appetizer they serve fried beans with tortilla chips. We finished it in 60 seconds and they brought us more. I ordered the juicy and perfectly cooked carne asada (steak) with fried plantains and it comes with fried beans, rice, salad, and a slice of cheese. To drink I ordered an horchata (rice milk) that was so tasty and refreshing . My husband ordered the same dish as me but ordered the fried green bananas instead (delicious!) with a banana soda. My son ordered a baleada which is the typical street food in Honduras. It’s a HUGE folded flour tortilla with fried beans, cheese, and Honduran sour cream. You can also add scrambled eggs, avocado, or meat as well. He added scrambled eggs and loved it! you can ask for the sour cream on the side so you can taste it because it has a different flavor than regular sour cream. My brother ordered the friend plantains with ground beef and cabbage on top, squeeze lime juice on it and WOW! (Mouth watering). My sister in law ordered the 3 chicken flautas dinner, those fried tacos were huge and this was their first time trying out Honduran food and they were very impressed with the flavors. The prices are reasonable. The server was very nice and friendly we told her to thank the cook (Erica) for such a delicious dinner. We’ve visited a couple of Honduran restaurants in Chicago but none have even come close to this one. We had to go back on our last day in TX It was really that good! Oh and by the way, the restaurant filled up pretty quickly on both days we were there. My brother said he will definitely be going back for more. Lucky guy!

Zion Caribbean restaurant – Menu with Prices – 4645 Gun Club Rd #7A, West Palm Beach

Iâ??ve been coming here pretty often for their baleadas. Last visit I had their â??Honduran plateâ?, and it was delicious! Very generous servings and the staff here is awesome. Theyâ??re very attentive and eager to make your visit worthwhile. Definitely recommend coming here.

Fat Tuesday – Menu with Prices – 6112 SW 9th St, Des Moines

I could definitely spend this entire review writing about the food, that is clearly made fresh and with the heart of Louisiana. The food is so authentic and very tasty! We had Cajun cheese fries, a boudin ball, my boyfriend had a Cajun steak and cheese po’boy with fried pickles. I had a andouille sausage po’boy with Cajun coleslaw. The portion sizes are massive! Our sandwiches could have easily fed two people per plate. Everything was seasoned well and our lovely waitress was awesome, friendly and accommodating. For all this, we will be back. The restaurant is small but there are plenty of tables. I’ll be honest the restaurant needs some help. My boyfriend and I decided after dining that we would order take out next time because the restaurant doesn’t seem to have a great ventilation system and the kitchen is open so all the smoke and frying smell pours out and into the seating area. It burned my eyes after a while and my clothes smell like grease. Not so appealing, the fry smell seems to saturate every thing. The waitresses definitely keep the tables clean, but part of the ceiling seems to be caving in and there are plants and a karaoke and a portable ac near our table and a very small area to park in. The business seems to be doing really well, but it’s all because of the food, definitely not the restaurant. I can’t wait to try other menu items. I heard they have Cajun Mac and cheese! Wasn’t on the menu tonight, but maybe I’ll get lucky with take out next time.

Abelardo’s Mexican Food – Menu with Prices – 1200 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls

Went there Friday April 26th. When I arrived I asked the young gentleman what was good (I like to find out what the staff likes to help me decide). He said “Everything”. I ordered the two taco plate. A friend ordered the taco and enchilada plate with a shredded beef taco and cheese enchilada. When our food arrived it was interesting that the amount of beans and rice was different on each of our plates. They use a Styrofoam plate that has three sections. Since the rice was in one section, the beans in another, my friend definitely had more of each. I expected the taco to be one of three things: 1) a flour tortilla (ie softshell) 2) a hard yellow corn fried tortilla (hardshell) or 3) a white corn tortilla lightly grilled (street taco). What I received was a flour tortilla deep fried and dark brown (on the edge of burned). Same with my friend’s taco. When I picked up my taco, there was nearly an 1/8th of an inch of grease in the third section. As I held the taco, the grease literally dripped out! I thought about adding a enchilada to my order at first, but now I was glad I didn’t. Here is the take-away. My plate had less beans and rice than my friend. My ground beef tacos were greasy and had nearly burned deep fried flour tortillas with very little seasoning. My friend’s shredded beef taco meat was tender, but without flavor and his shell was also nearly burned. His enchilada had little flavor also. The salsa bar was nice, as as the other reviewer mentioned, the salsa is a little spicy. They had sliced carrots and pickled jalapeno peppers, as well as radishes and fresh lime. The menu looks like Giliberto’s, the salsa bar looks like Giliberto’s but the portion size and flavors are not there. We felt like they were trying to imitate a good thing, but fell short. We cleaned our plates there and went to Taco Johns. I had a super burrito and small Ole’s. He had a hardshell taco and small Ole’s. Kinda sad when you have to order a meal after you have just finished one….

YoHaNe Japanese Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 7084 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah

I came here due to its overall high Yelp rating and because I was planning on going shopping at the Vietnamese grocery in the same shopping plaza afterwards. Well, I made a horrible mistake. First of all, despite its Korean emphasis, they offer very few banchan with the Korean meals–like, only kimchi and pickled radishes, actually. That’s in contrast to four banchan at Kimchi2 or eight or more at Korean Garden. The waitress said “well, we’re not really a Korean restaurant” but their Japanese selection of dishes is equally poor. I orderd an udon soup with dumplings and what came out was a generous portion but very bland, little flavor, period. That however wasn’t the half of it: I picked up the little Chinese spoon (a plastic version of the classic “duck spoon” æ?£è?®?) which came with it for the broth after eating the dumplings and noodles with my chopsticks and when I put the first spoonful of broth in my mouth, it had a horrible chlorine taste and smell! I realized the spoon smelled of bleach and that was the source of the smell and taste, which burned my tongue and nose. I only hope the amount I ingested did no further damage. I informed the waitress and had her also smell the spoon and her response was only “oh! cleaner!”. Oh cleaner, indeed. Cleaner which oh, should have been fully washed from your utensils. I’m Yelp Elite and have been now for five years. I have over one thousand reviews and the very vast majority of those are five or four star reviews. I have only about forty one-star and ninety two-star reviews. So I am not a trouble-maker or unfair customer I do not feel. Indeed, I hate hate hate giving poor reviews, especially to mom and pop restaurants like this one, but having a strong taste of cleaning chemicals on any utensil is beyond any possible excuse and I may well report it to the health department. I wish I could have liked this restaurant but instead left worried about my health and the owner, who overheard my conversation with the waitress about it, seemed unconcerned. Disgusting through and though in my book.

Haydee’s Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 5803 15th St E Unit 3, Bradenton

Your food taste amazing and compared to other honduran restaurant in a whlie. My family and i visit different honduran restaurant only because we love our food . The services was on point, the price were great. The only thing i would change is the appearance outside. There were boxs on the size of your building. As a business owner myself first impression is the key but the inside was clean and your bathroom were even better. So great work and great food and if you like little peace and relax meal come to haydee and if you need a drink and a bar sitting area go down the street. This a great place for a family setting.

Isla Bonita – Menu with Prices – 315 Foushee St, Durham

I don’t even know where to start. This place saved my life. I was craving a michelada all day and couldn’t find any in Durham. Stumbled on this place at 11pm and got an amazing michelada and some dope baleadas. they have karaoke and pool tables too! Buena onda.

Hungry Wolf BBQ – Menu with Prices – 9865 E Hampden Ave, Denver

We went when this place first opened and loved the food. We decided to take some more people with us to try the food. We sat down and were created by a kind waitress. She took our order, the Catfish dinner and Hungry Wolf Platter. We were told they were out of the beef ribs and they were busy today. No problem. We received our drinks…we waited and waited with no one to check on us. We noticed others getting their food. I asked another waitress to add bread to our order, she asked what our order was, she went to the kitchen and didn’t return. Our waitress then returned and said the kitchen was back up and she apologized for the wait. We were patient…15 min go by and the table next us got up and walked out without getting their food claiming their experience was terrible. Our waitress apologized to them and took their food away. Then I had to flag her down to get the SFSU’s of our food as it’s been over and hour. She went to check and didn’t return after 10 minutes only to tell is that our ticket was lost. We ended up leaving without any food. Although the food is great, the service is subpar. Waitress who doesn’t know her customers food order and the status is unheard of in the restaurant industry and a shame for this hole in the wall. We will not return!

Rice Noodle Thai – Menu with Prices – 9523 Q St, Omaha

So glad that there are more Thai food restaurants opening in town. The place isn’t hard to find and is simply decorated. We were greeted by a waitress behind a big counter as soon as we walked in. We are required to order & pay for the food first before we can be seated. I feel like it’s a little bit weird & unusual since it’s not a fast food place and we still ended being served by the waitress. Anyway, the menu sign seems to be not as complete as the menu flyer that they have too. So better check out the menu flyer instead when you order. I’m glad that they also have bubble tea. The pineapple fried rice that I ordered is barely taste like pineapple fried rice. I only see about 5 tiny pieces of pineapple hidden in it and I don’t see lots of meat either. I like the addition of cashew nuts in it though, adds a crunchy texture to it. The beef pho is good as well as the Pad Sew En. Nothing extraordinary but it’s not disappointing either. I quite like the brown sugar milk tea though, it’s not too sweet but you can definitely taste the brown sugar & the boba is chewy. The fact that they have good food and reasonably priced will surely keep us coming back in the near future.

Mexi-Cali Manny?s – Menu with Prices – 32475 Temecula Pkwy G103B, Temecula

I don’t know where to start! I came here because I work in the area. I saw there was a new small business, and wanted to give them a try. I ordered carne asada fries, if you want to call them that… First off, I didn’t get a receipt when I paid. Then after ordering, I waited 27 minutes to get my order! I was the only customer in the restaurant, I found that to be unacceptable. When I saw the cook (owner) making the food. I saw him put 10 shakes of seasoned salt on my fries out of the fryer. The cheese is nacho sauce, not shredded cheese. The fries aren’t what you’d expect at a taco shop. They are like Del Taco crinkle fries. Upon receiving my order, the meat was cut so small, it was like M&M candy at best. Meat was burned black, taste like licking a lime followed by a shot of seasoned salt. After 1 bite I knew it was inedible, but tried a second. That’s when I almost broke a tooth on the burned crispy meat. Had to throw it away and walk out after almost half an hour wait. Wasted my whole lunch break and had to return to work! 2 bites of this meal made me lose my taste buds for 2 hours following. It was the worst thing I’ve ever tried at a restaurant in 35 years. I felt too embarrassed to ask for a refund cause I work close by. Didn’t want to be “that guy”. Hope things change for this place. Zero stars! Pros: Clean, nice tables, good temperature inside. Cons: Very extremely slow service, heavily over salted, way too much lime on everything, cheap crinkle fries, flavorless meat particles burned badly.
