If there was an option for a negative rating I would give this establishment just that. We came two hours before closing time and still felt rushed by the employee at the front desk. An hour before closing he started to turn off the music and started closing down shop entirely. We were not comfortable in the environment so we rushed our last frames. I would much rather wait over an hour at the bowling alley in downtown Bellingham then come here again. Rude, overpriced, and an overall bad environment. I understand when someone has a bad day and works a busy and at times overwhelming job, but if you want returning and satisfied customers, your employees should at least give half decent service.

Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt – Menu with Prices – 510 Hidden Valley Pkwy Ste 102, Corona

My family and I come to get frozen yogurt quite frequently however the last few time we have come would be at night (usually an hour before closing). We came on 8/1/2019 we went to try the new flavor the had in this location, the workers were so rude. This flavor Hazelnut wasn’t coming out of the machine so I try to get the young lady and young males attention too see what the issue was. They were just laughing and Ignoring me so finally the third time I get her attention tell her the issue.she doesn’t even go to check just says “if you would late a minute it’s freezing” but so rudely. So we wait in there for over 5 mins and still nothing so I bring it to their attention again and still so rude the young male finally looks and says “it’s freezing so one minute” and just walks away laughing with the coworker. So I just give up at that point. I go outside to enjoy the yogurt with the family and he says “15 mins and closing”. Which is completely fine wants to give us a heads up but he comes again and again making us feel like we are so rushed to leave which is so bad for business. I came to this place because of the unique flavors but after the past few time of me dealing with such rude customer service my family and I don’t even want to return!

Anna Rose Bakery & Coffee Shop – Menu with Prices – 205 Walnut St, Harrisburg

We wandered in at 5:00 p.m. on June 19th hoping to grab two cupcakes. We were not aware that you closed at 5:00 pm until the worker rudely informed us that the family in front of us in line was the last customers. There’s a right way and a wrong way to do this and being rude to customers when you are in the service industry is the wrong way. It would have taken 30 seconds to sell us two cupcakes and we would have been on our way. Unfortunately you sent us away empty handed (actually we still had our money-but no cupcake). We won’t be back, not because you have a strict closing time (I can understand that) but because you were rude to potential customers. I don’t care how good your product is, if you keep this up, you won’t be open for long Good luck to you…

Gable House Bowl – Menu with Prices – 22501 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance

This review is based off tonight only. That being said, the guy that works the front desk always seems like every time you talk to him it’s a chore. He pays no attention to the customer. He makes the entire experience awkward as hell. Lazy…it’s absolutely crazy that at 12:53 we were told that they would be closing at 1:00 and not 2:00 because it was slow. My group of 3 was starting our 10th frame and at exactly 1:00 on the dot he stopped our game and shut the machines off. On the 10th frame. For repeat customers, who just paid for unlimited games I find it absolutely unacceptable that we couldn’t finish the last frame. The woman yesterday was great and polite. Security guards are also great. Someone should let that guy know it’s rude to roll your eyes at a customer when you added shoes before asking if we had our own (of looking up and seeing we all had bags with us) . Tell customers at least 20-30 minutes if you are closing an hour early, And when people are on the last frame, let us finish. Lastly, when we purchased the unlimited bowling…we did it under the impression that we would be bowling unlimited games until 2:00am, the closing time listed everywhere for this establishment. If we had any idea that we would only be getting in 45 minutes instead of about 2 hours, we never would have come! You shouldn’t take our money for unlimited and then close an hour early. Really really pissed about how tonight was handled by staff…what a jerk.

El Paraiso Salvadoreno #2 – Menu with Prices – 974 Kendall Dr, San Bernardino

I just want to write a review regarding their customer service here, which is beyond horrible. The lady who works up at the front and takes the customer orders and claims to be the manager. I don’t understand how she is the manager due to her unprofessional attitude. I called to complain and she answered and she stated she was the manager and she didn’t take my complain seriously and was also rude to me. I simply wanted to complain about the service they provided my family with. I really don’t know how they can run a business being so rude and unprofessional. Time and time again, I give them the benefit of the doubt but enough is enough. I will no longer go back and support a business that treats their customers so rudely. I would urge customers not to come because they would be treated like they don’t matter and there are also other good food spots in the area. I’m not the first to complain nor the last but I simply write here on yelp so my voice could be heard. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but this was necessary. I hope they take the measures that are necessary to create a better atmosphere for their customers.

Dry Storage – Menu with Prices – 3601 Arapahoe Ave D-181, Boulder

Food is ok but I will not recommend this place to anyone. It simply got all the wrong vibes to be a decent place to eat: a noisy and messy dining environment, mediocre service, way overpriced food (as expected so I didn’t take any star away), and always having only a couple of sad tiny loafs of bread at the counter (me and my friend had been deterred from dining/purchasing there for a couple times because of it). Moreover, skipping elderly people who need a little more time to serve other customers (just me then) is not the way you treat any people. It could have got two and half stars based on food alone (they also gave me the wrong tea, but who cares).

Tazza Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 510 Church St, Nashville

Okay so it started off a little weird. 1. The server was kind of rude sitting us. He told us how he was going to take our orders and we had to follow specific direction. 2. Our appetizer came out first but then our food came out 10 seconds after. 3. Food wasn’t too bad. It was hot and worth the 4. We had to ask him for our check almost 8 TIMES. We about walked out. 5. He made us get up from our table to come pay at his computer and then asked us to tell him what our order was. 6. He paid no attention to us at all during our meal. And he was THE ONLY SERVER IN THE WHOLE RESTAURANT. We understand he was busy. My girlfriend and i both work in the food business so we understand that he had other tables and was struggling but if you can’t handle all of your tables then don’t take all of them. We came from out of town for pride and dropped about $30 on dinner. The food was worth the $30 but the service wasn’t. We tipped 6 cents for the poor service

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – Baker Crossing, 665 Newtown Rd #105, Virginia Beach

This is the worst subway in VA! I was physically assaulted by an employee here. I contacted the cooperate just to be informed that this is owned by a franchise owner an they could contact the owner but could not do anything about the employee. Turns out the owner is out of the county. Do you think she was fired? No, she still works there. The owner doesn’t care about customers. All the works at this store are rude and nasty to the customers. Beware of the business you support. When you give your money to this franchise owned companies, it is not the same company you see on t.v. franchise are allowed to be run how ever they want as long as they pay to use the name. You are not granted the same service from each. You put you and your family at risk going to these companies. I wonder how much they paid there family members to give them good reviews? They can’t have my money and I hope you join me. Thank you

Tropical Sno – Menu with Prices – 6630 W Cactus Rd Suite 114B, Glendale

I normally don’t leave reviews. As someone who works in customer service and regularly gets rated on it I know how detrimental they can be when they are not good. We have gone to this establishment several times and Have always had a good experience until tonight. After taking my kids to uptown jungle we were driving by and decided to stop. The lights were on and there was no hours of operation posted that I could see and the door was unlocked so we walked right in. The kids started picking out their flavors and we stood there for 2 to 3 minutes well a young girl who work there Sat on her phone standing against the counter. Finally a young man walked up and said sorry we are closed. I thought this was very odd due To the door not being on locked. Typically that is the 1st thing that is done when the store closes. I then went and looked up the store on Google to see their hours of operation because they were not posted on the door and sure enough it was closed. I did not expect them to serve me Past closing because I understand everyone wants to get home but it was definitely a let down that we were allowed to walk in and start picking out our flavors while someone stood there and it took someone else walking up minutes later to tell us. It might not be the best idea to happy young teenagers closing the store by themselves.

Fremont Natural/Healing Center – Menu with Prices – 5180 Mowry Ave, Fremont

Overpriced, very rude owner. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went there one time just to look around, the shop owner was friendly and smiling in the beginning, as soon as she realized I am just looking around and not going to buy anything, her face changed and she just took off. Later, I still needed some herbal products and went there again and got colon cleansing herbs, flax seed oil and some other products. Colon cleanse and flax seed oil didn’t work for me (gave me upset stomach), so I returned them. At that point the owner just turned nasty. She asked me for a receipt, i did not have it, she told me ” You are returning quite a lot”, but gave me store credit. Every time I came there to get something to use my store credit, she got nastier than before. I asked if she has anti-wrinkle cream, she said ” No, if you have wrinkles, nothing will fix that”, I was looking for a body lotion, she said:” We don’t have many body lotions, you should go to Safeway or Lucky’s for that”. I found a face serum for brown spots, asked her if that was good serum. Her answer: ” I have some customers that say it works, some say it does not, but if it does not work, my customers do not return it, they just keep it, I don’t want you to return it again if it doesn’t work”. I was shocked, really. I found one face cream, decided to get it using my store credit. She asked me for frequent buyer card, I gave it to her, she ripped it in front of me and threw it away, ” It is expired, you have to buy new one for 5 dollars”, I didn’t even get a chance to see if it is really expired or not. Bad, angry energy. She should use some of those crystals she sells on herself, really. All skincare and shampoo/conditioner is very overpriced, for some reason they sell a lot of Australian skin care(may be someone in Australia sends it to her). I have been to Australia couple of times, recognized the brands, they all come paraben, phtalate, SLS-free, standard. The Kakadu face cream they sell is US$16, in Australia I bought it for AU$6. Just gives you an idea about the mark-up. My opinion-I think it is better to go to Whole Foods or something, may be selection is not that big, but at least nobody will be rude to you.

Johnny’s Saloon & Pizzeria – Menu with Prices – 17428 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach

This is was the 2nd time I was in there. Last time, I was asked for ID which is ok although I am waaaay over 21. It was ok. We decided to try it again with our neighbors. There was 4 of us and when we sat down, the bartender asked us for ID. My neighbor did not have ID with her. The bartender said he would not serve us without ID. It was the owners rules. Now, I understand the rules. You have to do what you have to do. HOWEVER, our ages ranged from 53 to 73 years old. Really?!!!! Also, we also understand the rules but do they have to be so rude about it?! Luckily we lived close by and she went home and got her ID. The only reason we went there was because I told them it was ok for a local bar and close to home. But we got rude service with ok drinks but with an attitude. Even when we asked for the bill, the guy just walked by and said he would get to us. It wasn’t all that busy yet – 5pm on a Saturday – really? I guess we have to find a new local place. My neighbor said Shooters said they were nicer. I understand asking for ID if that is the rules but you don’t have to be rude and HELLLOOOOO – WE WERE WAY OVER 50 YEARS OLD.. . Not coming back and definitely not recommending to any of our friends.

Kurry Xpress – Menu with Prices – 1501 Pine Lake Rd, Lincoln

So the hours of business operation have a break in place that starts at 2 pm… so don’t show up at 1:15 pm and expect to be served or be allowed to place an order for dine-in even though they close at 2 pm. We arrived at 1:15 pm, male server approached our table and slammed glasses of water down on the table, huffed, gave us foul looks, ignored our greeting, and walked away. Then another man who apparently works there came over to our table and asked if we were aware, they closed at 2 pm, and proceeded to tell us we would not be served and needed to leave. Geez, it was 1:15 pm and the restaurant closed at 2 pm. So the hours posted on the restaurant door do not apply, you’d better get in there an hour or more before “closing” if you desire to eat at this place. I’ve dined at the place in the past and the food is decent, although the customer service is so poor, I will not return again. With 25+ years of restaurant and franchise management on my resume, if the restaurant I’m operating closes at midnight and a customer walks in at 12 am, I serve them just the same as if they walked in at opening hour, that’s called good business ethics and treating your customer with respect, after all customers are job security.

Deep Sea | The Original Poke – Menu with Prices – 27530 Newhall Ranch Rd #103, Santa Clarita

If I was simply judging this place off of the food alone and nothing else, it would be an easy 5 stars. However, I’ve progressively noticed several glaring issues that I’ve noticed in the past few months that I have been coming here. I’m writing this because I used to really love this place. The first issue has to do with the owner, Chris. At first, he appears nice and cheery with his “hello welcome!” as you first walk in. But that reality ends quick as soon as he starts serving customers food, as he acts rude and rushes people constantly, (myself included). Sometimes, he’ll even skip customers in line if he thinks you’re going too slow. A terrible first impression for new customers who don’t understand how the menu works yet. The bowls the owner makes look awful and rushed compared to the delicious ones his own employees make. On top of all of that, he is also very rude to his own employees right in front of customers by yelling and throwing insults at them. I can’t help but notice how stressed and uncomfortable they are when he is standing nearby. The employees themselves are very helpful and kind despite this, and always do a great job. Annoyingly, the owner also often leaves his laptop on one of the tables that plays the same exact playlist of jazz music everyday. Not only is this extremely repetitive as a frequent regular, but it also takes up an entire extra table for no reason whatsoever so that no one can sit there when it gets busy. Another big issue is the layout of the interior, and even the design it has. First off, it’s terribly cramped in some areas inside, where only one or two people can even fit through. For some odd reason, the menu goes from right to left, and forces you into the far corner of the restaurant, right next to the bathroom and a tight hallway. This makes standing in line inside sometimes very awkward as you’re packed like sardines, shoulder to shoulder with other people. The decor inside is also pretty ugly with white walls, floors, and ceilings which reminds me of a mental hospital honestly. The last complaint I have is that the inside is sometimes really gross and dirty, and I’ve find cockroaches in the bathroom twice now, the second time just on my last visit. And for that reason, and all the others above, I won’t be returning to this place for a long, long time. Again, the food was very tasty for the most part (aside from a few fish bones), and the employees were very kind. The rude owner, the ugly interior, and nasty roaches were just too many reasons to stay away. Hopefully they can turn things around sooner rather than later.
