Was able to eat here for their soft opening before the brewery opens a couple weeks ago and had an amazing time. Cant wait for this place to be open more often. Will update my review when the Brewery is open!

Manny’s Original Chophouse- Lake Buena Vista – Menu with Prices – 12124 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando

I have been to the original Manny’s Original Chophouse in Haines City, which is usually packed at around dinner time and a 35 minute/29 mile drive from my home in the Sea World Area. Then they opened one in Kissimmee (apparently the busiest one of the franchise) 27 minutes/17 miles. Today (5/28) I found out via social media that they opened a Manny’s in Lake Buena Vista about two weeks ago 16 minutes/10 miles from home. They are in week two of soft opening, so nothing is set in stone as far as hours, but based on location will probably have hours like their Kissimmee restaurant. I enjoyed the 9oz Filet Mignon, which came with bottomless salad, my favorite part of an entree that comes with it. Their rolls are really great with the honey butter. Sat at the outside bar/patio that opens into the restaurant. Service was excellent, but again it is a soft opening, so in about a month or so I will revisit and see how often I will visit when business has ramped up. Steaks, Chops, Ribs, Seafood, Chicken, Burgers, Sandwiches, Salads, and Soups, good variety on menu at reasonable chophouse prices.

Elite 6ix Bar & Grill – Menu with Prices – 200 Queen St S, Mississauga

Iâ??m not sure how to describe this place, maybe upscale bar with better than pub prices and good food. The young couple that owns the place are very personable and eager to succeed and will listen to any suggestions you might have to improve there restaurant. If you go soon during there soft opening , almost all apps are on for $5.00 and I believe the mains were only $8.00. So well worth trying while itâ??s on special. They are also open for breakfast for now which I think they might have to change to only opening on weekends for breakfast but what do I know. Didnâ??t give 5 stars because I havenâ??t tried an entree yet.

Sun King Broad Ripple – Menu with Prices – 1021 Broad Ripple Ave, Indianapolis

If you like Sun King, then this is a must visit spot for you. I was able to attend a soft opening at this new location and even though they were still supposed to be working things out, I couldn’t find anything that they needed to work on. First, finding the place is pretty easy. It is located in the former Thr3e Wise Men location on Broad Ripple Avenue. It’s in the first plaza on the east side of where the Monon Trail crosses. What makes it even better is that there is a parking lot right next to the building, so that makes it even more appealing than some of the other spots in BR. The interior is arranged very similarly to the previous brewery with the bar to your left and dining/seating area with tables to your right. A private party room is also available back towards the kitchen. I ordered a flight from a fairly large list of brews. Note that they have cocktails and wine here too, though I didn’t spend much time looking at the menu. Note that all the menus should expand once they have their Grand Opening. If you have the munchies or even desire a full blown meal, that will be offered by their chosen in house restaurant, Offshore Broad Ripple. Offshore is run by Pier 48 which just opened a seafood restaurant downtown. Offshore will be more “farm to table” than seafood. One of the things I noticed about during the soft opening is that I was able to pay both Brewery and Restaurant on the same bill (which is different than the other Sun King locations. I hope they keep this convenience. And the beer? I like trying beers from across the board. I will say my favorite today was “Probably an IPA” New England IPA. Great balance! And though I thought the “TrollStorm” Porter (11% abv) started a bit over the top, the more I drank, the better I adjusted to it, especially when eating my flatbread. By the bottom of the flight glass, I was sold! Service was friendly and frequent enough to keep us from waiting for anything. Check out was right at our table with one of those hand held electronic readers which meant my card never left my sight! Another plus! If I had any negatives, it might be that the prices were on the upper end. $10 for a flight of four isn’t outrageous, but it definitely is on the high side of brewery prices in the state. If you like Sun King products and want to try them in a new setting, check this place out when they open! Review #3170

Kings Bluff Brewery – Menu with Prices – 128 University Ave, Clarksville

New brewery in town. I had seen their marketing on Facebook and it looked neat. Plus, I know brad from apsu and he’s been a big part of their marketing. One of my coworkers/friends went before their grand opening and said their flight was delicious. She said all of their beers were really good, especially the IPA. So I really wanted to go for grand opening, but I didn’t get the chance. I ended up going the following weekend with the girls. I was kind of hesitant about going because another friend went during the week and didn’t have a good experience. When we got there it was close to closing time, oops. I do wish they stayed open a little later than 10pm. The place was pretty full, but we walked up to the bar and spotted a table. It took us a little while to get our order in, but once in we got our flights right away. We grabbed a seat and Brad came over to tell us about all five beers. They were all pretty good, but my favorites were definitely the blonde and the IPA. Weird, I don’t even like IPAs normally, but it was good. We end up talking to the owners at close and they were pretty nice. They told us about their plans for the brewery and I can’t wait to see them unfold. I went to the bathroom before leaving and I loved the jokes on the wall. They even had feminine products and uh, extras things for guys… very thoughtful. Lol

Burgers On the Run – Menu with Prices – 195 Madison St, Eugene

I really gotta come here for a burger! I’ve only had their fries but the owner was so amazing and nice that I have plans to go back and order more. We had our hearts set on trying Buck Buck a couple months back but their card reader was down and we didn’t have cash. We went over to Burgers On The Run which is just down the gravel path along Oakshire Brewery and he asked why we didn’t order from them. We told him the story and said we would grab two burgers. He insisted that we get the fried chicken we came for and did a transaction that was able to give us cash back! We were so thankful and surprised at his generosity that we still ordered fries from him. He definitely did not have to go out of his way to do that for us and could have just taken our orders without caring. This act shows what true customer service is and we cannot wait to go back and give him our business for as long as we live in Eugene. I will update this review once we try the burgers but from the photos they look great! There is street parking and picnic tables or you can sit inside Oakshire and enjoy a beer. They even bring your food to you!

Universal Orlando Resort – Menu with Prices – 6000 Universal Blvd, Orlando

Universal has created one of the best family friendly attractions ever. A roller coaster/thrill ride that is not too scary and people like me who don’t like roller coaster can ride! I have been watching this be built now for over a year and the excitement of the opening weekend was fun. I have ridden it twice now so I feel I can give a decent review. NOTE— A Warning!— This attraction has had a lot of wonderful press and reviews from everyone I have spoken to but due to its popularity, the wait times for this attraction can be long! Plus, the ride has a tendency to break down… and close down for weather. Opening day waits were 10 hours! The wait times now have come down to around 2 to 3 hours for this attraction and thats if it does not break down or go down for weather. With that warning being said, aside from the long wait times, this attraction is a must do for any Harry Potter fan! So unfortunately, some on here have given this ride one star because they had to wait and/or never got on the ride. It happens… its a ride in a theme park… things break and they have no control over the weather… so Universal is not responsible for your decision to wait for a ride that you might not get on to. Every theme park works this way… read the back of your tickets. Anyway… due to the long wait times, I decided to wait a few weeks after opening before even trying to ride. That should have given them some ‘shake down’ time to get the bugs worked out. Like Gringotts and Forbidden Journy that both had long wait times and breakdowns, this is no different for being a new attraction so expect to wait anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours to ride. I don’t normally wait more than 1 hour for anything but I will wait longer for this. The que line for Hagrid starts out in Hogsmead where the old Dueling Dragons entrance used to be. The path winds back and forth and finally leads to a Potter themed building with AC! Once inside, there are many small and large rooms themed to a workshops/classrooms for Hargrid. You are a ‘student’ and Hagrid is going to take you on a trip though the forbidden forest to see some Magical creatures. He gets the help of Mr Wesley to repair and duplicate his motor bike so he can take groups of you together into the forest. The que line goes thru the story and explains all this to you through film and sound. The que is beautiful and the detail work is amazing. When you finally get to the last room, they will ask how many in your party. If you are an even amount of people, cool… they will get you on the bikes side by side. Pairs of riders. But if your group has an odd number of riders, they will add someone from the ‘single rider’ line to make your group an even number. Again, riding in pairs… one on the motorbike and one in the sidecar. The ride is fast and has three launches… it goes backwards for a bit… and has a fun drop… I just won’t say where! I don’t want to spoil all the fun. The story continues during the ride with the help of special effects and animatronics. I have ridden in both the bike and the side car. The bike side gives you the feel of actually driving a bike… the side car is a bit lower and you do have the feel of going along for the ride. Again… we know the lines are long… we know the ride goes down for weather… we know the ride continues to break… these are all things we know already. If you go in with an open mind and have fun with it, it is totally worth the wait. As of the middle of July, Universal is opening the ride around 9 am when the park opens so getting to be one of the first people in the park helps. When I last did that, it took me a total of 2.5 hours to finally ride it… but that is with an hour of down time due to maintenance. It would have been only about 1.5 hours if it had not broken down. They are also cutting the line around 5 pm. That way, the amount of people they have on the line at 5 is about 2 to 3 hours. Everyone

Maxline Brewing – Menu with Prices – 2724 McClelland Dr #190, Fort Collins

Nice little brewery! I have been to Maxline a few times now and I have always enjoyed my experience. I have enjoyed the beer options and their selection has grown, along with the seating, over these first three years. I have enjoyed the Irish Red ale and their IPA options when I am there. It is hard to say that any of the beers stand out in my mind as a favorite, but it’s pretty solid work. That being said, I have a couple friends who would say they have a favorite brew on tap here. I really enjoy the patio area and the expansion inside for additional seats since they first opened. The staff has always been rather friendly and helpful, allowing me to try a small taste of a beer before committing to a pint and that is much appreciated! On most of my visits there has been a food truck just outside with good food options to enjoy with my beer. I have recommended this spot to many people who are looking for a brewery to try, since many people do not know it is here. This might be because the location is not well advertised. It is on McClelland, which is not a street many people use who are not locals. There doesn’t seem to be anything that really draws your eye to the spot when driving by either and I feel like that could use some work. I will continue to come to this brewery because I enjoy good beer and I like the neighborhood feel of the place. I feel like is what is going to make all the difference in these next few years with all of the new beer options. Keep up the good work and I will certainly update my review when that standout beer comes along for me.

MIssouri River Pub & Pool – Menu with Prices – Jade Rd, Columbia

Well my wife called 2 weeks ago to see if they would be there and open tonight. They said they would be . We got there to celebrate my boys 21 birthday. Well we get there and they are closed. A couple of my friends were going to throw a couple hundred down and tell them to let us know when it runs out, That way they could pay more. According to Facebook they are open . So they lost our business and we are taking our money else where! Ihave to rate it , but I can’t give it a zero so I’ll make them look good and give them a 1!

Strangeways Brewing Fredericksburg – Menu with Prices – 350 Lansdowne Rd, Fredericksburg

Oh Strangewaysâ?¦you may be 300+ miles away from us Long Islanders, but you canâ??t keep us away!!! We found this amazing brewery, by chance, in Summer 2017. On our way back from a vacation, we randomly booked a hotel in Fredericksburg, found Strangeways, and we have been hooked ever since. We just visited a couple of weeks ago for our 3rd time and it was just as enjoyable as the first. This brewery is amazing and has become a favorite of both my husband and myself. A quick Uber ride from our hotel and we are all set to enjoy some great beers. This brewery has 36+ beers on tap at all times and everything is listed in categories according to beer type. You can create customized flight trays, which we do every visit to try new additions to the tap list. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating and both areas are enjoyable. They have had food trucks on site along with some entertainment while we visited. The staff is friendly and generally attentive, depending on how busy the bar gets. â??Lucky Charmsâ? is my absolute favorite beer, a Berliner Weisse with I believe marshmallow syrup added. This year they brewed an Imperial Lucky Charmsâ?¦simply a higher ABV version of the original and it was so delicious that we had to take some cans back home!!! We seriously have traveled 300+ miles multiple times to visit, so that tells you how great this place is. I recommend it to anyone visiting the area. You wonâ??t be disappointed!!!

Second Street Brewery at The Railyard – Menu with Prices – 1607 Paseo De Peralta #10, Santa Fe

Quite frankly, I’m tired. I’m 9 rounds in, I need some water, and both eyes feel swollen shut. I’m forced up against the ropes. I’m completely worn out. I’m on mile 24 of 26.2. I guess I didn’t drink enough water the few days before. I plan on finishing, but, God, am I exhausted. I’ve run out of fast carb sources. I can feel cramps coming on. I’m so so tired. Can you feel the exhaustion yet? Honestly, none of the above is true. But, I am still very tired. I’m tired of “breweries” that function mainly as restaurants. A trip to the brewery is one that is supposed to end in doors that, upon opening, reveal a wonderland of musky, hop-ridden aromas. I should never walk into a brewery and smell the grease of burgers and fries. That is unacceptable, and I am so exhausted of it. It is clear to me that Second Street Brewery has decided to forego the sacred responsibility of prioritizing their beer production. It is clear to me that their food menu and stature as an eatery have taken the reigns. It is clear to me that this particular brewery must repent. It must about-face and return to doing what breweries are supposed to do best: brew and serve beer in taprooms that welcome the hop-hopeful visitor like the father does prodigal son–with much love and a space to party. I do not write this review to shame the establishment. Instead, I hope the best for Second Street. I hope that they will make the changes necessary, and that, by the time I am back in Santa Fe, I can walk into the brewery I had hoped for and expected. I don’t want to be tired any longer. I wish them the best of luck.

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea Park St – Menu with Prices – 1002 Park St, Columbia

What a fantastic soft opening experience! Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea is a coffee chain with a few locations scattered throughout the United States that finally makes its way to Columbia, SC. We were informed of their soft opening and decided to go out of our way to attend and, boy, was it a great decision! Located on Park St., there is plenty of street parking around, as well as some available lot parking (currently free, not sure how long that will last) that is on the same block. The exterior is entirely a window wall system, very chic and inviting, and the interior design is modern enough to match. The seating available appears to be best suited for small parties as the tables and chairs are catered for two. The service was exceptional, the staff was very friendly and constantly checked up on us, though I believe the entire staff was most likely attending the soft opening as there were more than enough staff present. The people working the registers did seem a little unfamiliar with the POS system, but I’m sure they’ll have everything down by opening day. The coffee was good! It doesn’t necessarily stand out, but it wasn’t bad and I would definitely come back and experiment with different menu items. I ordered the French Vietnamese au lait and my fiancée ordered the Dragon Eye. We were both satisfied with our drinks. The pastries we tried, though, were exceptional! The macarons we tried (Pistachio, Strawberry Cream, and Passion Fruit) were fantastic, filled with flavor, and had a soft consistency while still maintaining the little crunch macarons are known for. The pumpkin chai bread my fiancée got was also great and a perfect accompaniment to the coffee. As it was a soft opening, we did get free samples of a chocolate cake and lemon bar. The chocolate cake was amazing, super moist and decadent. The lemon bar was also just as good, the perfect balance of sour and sweetness as the lemon flavor didn’t overpower our tastebuds too much. I would definitely come back for the pastries to have alongside the coffee. If the location were just a bit closer to me, I would probably come here every day to just study and hang out. I definitely recommend trying out Sweetwaters once they officially open. Counting down the days!

Monday Night Garage Menu with Prices 933 Lee St SW, Atlanta

You can find Monday Night Brewing – Garage at 933 Lee St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310 between West End and Capitol View (bit of a commercial no man’s land by the railroad tracks). Nearby you have Boxcar at Hop City West End and soon, the new Wild Heaven and Best End Brewing locations (currently under construction) so this will become a new brewery row. Parking is plentiful with wide-open parking lots that extend around the large, warehouse-sized buildings. I first visited the Garage back in early 2018 for a charity event, back in the courtyard and private event space towards the east-end of the building – the place is huge with multiple bars and a deck that extends along the south end of the building – there’s also a patio in the area between buildings leading up to the main entry. To give you an idea of scale, there’s an Air Stream trailer inside the building. I figured with the Anniversary Party coming this weekend now would be a good time to comment on this great Atlanta brewery. The interior is on the industrial side, a bit no frills but there are things to look at including conditioning tanks and the various bars – if they’re all open it’s a bit of a Universal Studios experience with doors opening into new wide-open areas and taps at each bar to discover. Typically the main area (you walk in through a patio, there’s brewery swag and a bar on the right with windows opening to the outside and tanks on the left) is open most weekdays and really, there’s a lot of space. You continue towards the back to the bathrooms and the next bar which seems to only be open on weekends or during special events. Monday Night Brewing – Garage was set up, I believe, to have more room to focus on sours and barrel aged beers – the menu certainly reflect this, with classic old favorites and a whole list of specialty stouts and beers normally found in limited release bottles (which are also available for take home). The bartenders are quite attentive and know their shit, always good for recommendations – but if you want mine, start with short pours of each of the barrel aged beers and work your way backwards into those that are lighter (normally I would do the opposite but when I do I end up getting too hammered to taste all the delicious specialty beers). (also published to my brewery and restaurant blog)
