Wander burrito- Good: -Very good and unique flavors with the cabbage and marination. It’s not Mexican so don’t treat it like it is, it’s El Salvadorian… Not sure if its authentic but its good. -Hot sauces are on point! Both of them -Never had a problem with either locations service -Cheap enough to feel satisfied. Bad: – One thing I absolutely hate is when restaurants take EPIC pictures to represent their menu only to be COMPLETELY disappointed by the actuall product. The picture of this thing looks to good to be true…and alas it is. -Pretty lame amount of meat its mostly a cabage burrito but the cabage is good so it doesn’t take away from the overall experience. But it could be better. Skimpy amount of guac and s-cream as well. -Cash only. I get it but I hate it, and has been the reason I go elsewhere if I don’t have cash. -Often surrounded by the homeless. few times ago I saw one of the nice cooks hand a super hammered “outdoorsman” a free taco…that’s very kind but also the reason you have bums. In the big picture the bads don’t take away from the end product and I’m there solely to insert white log a) into open and willing mouth b) not to experience the world around me and reflect on my feelings while devouring said log.

Taco Negris – Menu with Prices – 37726 Niles Blvd, Fremont

HANDS DOWN THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IVE EVER HAD.!.!!! And I eat alot of Mexican food in general. There’s a reason why there’s always a line of people waiting bc the food is sooo damn good. I’ve been eating here since Tacos were $0.75 and now I believe it’s $2 or so which sucks in a way but totally worth it. Last time I was there I’ve noticed more Homeless/Bums around the there panhandling which gets annoying. Overall to anyone who’s never had their food, the Super Burrito with Carne alsada/Steak is the best burrito you will ever have and if you have La Vic’s Orange sauce along with their Burrito HOLY SHIT…! #BURRITOPIA

Donut Depot – Menu with Prices – 3119 S Main St, Santa Ana

I must say the “CUSTOMER SERVICE is AWESOME”! It is a hole in the wall donut shop, a bit run down, but what I appreciate is that, they are open at the crack of dawn. They don’t seem irritated or even complain about it. Both women who helped me were super nice. It could use a little tender love and care, but what can you do! You dont go there to eat a steak everyone, you go there to get donut and coffees. My coffee was burning hot, my donuts were warmed up and I enjoyed every second of it. I must say I hate the parking though LOL, over all I will be visiting again! Thank You to the women and cooks for opening up so early in the morning for some of us folks!

Rheas Hot Links – Menu with Prices – 201-229 South Oakland Avenue, 204 S Fannin Ave, Tyler

Well today, I went to hot link place for my husband to take to his job. Normally the ladies are great always. But, we have noticed the last 3 visits havnt been that plesant from just (1) employee. But, we will still speak but her attitude us nonchalant. Anyway, today she came to window, didnt speak, and I ordered. Then came back gave me price and I gave her my card. Told her the chip doesn’t work as I handed to her. She looked at me, and still took it. About 5mins later, she comes back and says, my card dont work. Well, 1st of all, it works fine but the reason I told her in advance is for her to do it as credit or without chip usage. Anyway, i told her, I will give her cash. She handed her hand out for my cash, but still had my debit card. I told her to give my card 1st, then I gave her a $50 bill. She took a min and came back with $26 change. I looked at her funny and asked where my receipt she said since I didnt pay with card, I cant get a receipt. I asked how much was it again, she looked at me with a attitude and said, its right. $13 from $50 is $26 and I told her its incorrect and then she shut window on me and started talking to other worker. I bought 14 links, which she gave him the smallest links in there and a strawberry fanta, no ice. Maybe she gaving a bad day. But, lately she has acted this way. Idk way, i haven’t done anything to her and idk her either well. I drove around to front door, went in with food and money. Told the smaller dark lady, who is always sweet and she asked what i bought, told her and still that lady tried to say, 50-13=26, and thats what i gave you. Well, im not dumb, but I know how to count. So instead of arguing, i pulled out my phn to calculator, then she hurried up and said, or yea..I owe you $10. Laid it on counter and walked away. I told my hubby when i took him the food and he tut old me to report it. He said, he was proud of me, cause normally i goes off about my money. But, I have grown alot and tries to be better. She still had a attutude, vut you tried to CHEAT ME, but mad at me. I dont get that. How many people does, she do like this daily that she THINKS, DONT COUNT THEIR MONEY. My husband is bad about not counting his, but I DONT PLAY LIKE THAT. He eats at Rheas at least weekly, and before he had his seizures last yr. He ate 3 times a week faithfully on lunch break of after work. Smh at her.

Aprisa Mexican Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 827 SW 2nd Ave, Portland

It’s probably just me, so don’t read too much into it. Okay….I’ve been going here since it opened around 9 years ago. I’ve always loved it! I’m a burrito fan! I work super close by, so it’s an easy habit to frequent Aprisa! However, recently, in the last 4 months or so, I have found that the grilled veggie burrito is not my favorite choice anymore. I’ve ordered the breakfast burrito many times before, but the last few times I’ve either picked it apart to make it work (super messy to do) or tossed the rest. Now, I choose not to have it made with eggs or cheese, so it is a modified burrito. I even gave it a month before I returned. I love this place, and I hate wasting food! Today I ordered the burrito again with grilled veggies, but I asked them to remove the peppers, because the last two times I’ve noticed the onions and peppers were too crunchy and under cooked. This gives it an off flavor overall. It still came with carrots which is normally okay, but these too were waaaaay crunchy! So I ended up again, making it work by dissecting the burrito, and getting rid of the debris. Thank goodness for the guacamole and potatoes! The roasted tomato salsa also helped. Otherwise, this would’ve been my last breakfast burrito. I will go back eventually, just not for a while. I’ve talked to a co-worker of mine, and she agrees with me when I say, I think there’s something different Aprisa! is doing that is changing the flavors. She says the meat is seasoned with something different than what they used to use, and it’s not very flavorful now. Maybe it’s a different chef? Different Seasonings? I don’t see Pedro there very often anymore…..help! I miss loving this place!

Tacos Los Campesinos – Menu with Prices – 1555 Vassar St, Reno

I went there for lunch today. The restaurant was full as it was a small establishment. Looked like the staff needed help clearing the tables for people to sit down. I felt bad for them. I thought about lending them a hand. It took awhile to get my order. I ordered a steak burrito to go. I thought the prices were a little high for a burrito but I thought I’d give them a try. It turned out that the burrito was really good. The lady running the cash register apologized for the long wait. As for the prices, yah I think everything in Reno is going up. So maybe the prices may be fair. They just need to hire more help for the lunch rush I guess. I’ll go back at a different time and try something else. Like I said, the food was good and the service was friendly. There was also plenty of parking.

Tom’s Tacos – Menu with Prices – 4669 Torrance Blvd, Torrance

This is Tito’s Tacos from Culver City, but way smaller, less crowded, and more convenient for those in South Bay. CASH ONLY! CASH ONLY! Lots of parking. CASH ONLY! As I noted in my Tito’s Tacos review, I am not a huge fan of the tacos. However, I really dig Tom’s burritos ? The bean and cheese burrito in particular. I’ve tried the burrito with the meat, rice, etc. as well, but what it all comes down to in the end is that the beans are stellar (lard-tastic) and the cheese combines to make goodness. I usually get some of the liquid guac and salsa and combine it with the burritos for a little extra flavor, but they are good without too. The chips are decent, the burritos are definitely messy, the ordering experience is way easier than Tito’s, but the burritos (to me and my wife) are awesome. Looking forward to going back for some nostalgic flavor from the Culver City days ?

Gorditas Estilo Aguascalientes – Menu with Prices – 999 N Waterman Ave, San Bernardino

Decided to try this place and ordered through DoorDash. I got a burrito and quesadilla with Chile relleno. I was disappointed when I took a bit of the burrito because it only had beans, rice, and cheese. I posted a picture of what the burrito should have included. They did have an option to add on more to the burrito and maybe they got confused? Anyway. The Chile relleno quesadilla was BOMB!!! It was only $3. Highly recommend trying that out. Decided to go back in person and give them another try and I am impressed. Took my boyfriend and he got the asana burrito. It comes with everything, BOMB. I again got the quesadilla Chile relleno with beans and rice. Seriously the best place in town. This location is located inside the San Bernardino indoor swap meet.

Hide A While Lounge – Menu with Prices – 9469 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga

What i need to say about this Bar is that at a random decision was made last night to ask me and my friends to leave . so the weekend before we where hanging out with no problem. So the reason why we where asked to leave is because we are bikers that are in the upper age of 50 and we where told up we couldn’t be in there because we had a vest on . and too top that off i dont drink alcohol and one other member is sober also . we stick too ourselves my friends where there long before i got there and they yes they do drink . they spent there money and they where having a good time .and just so you know . bikers dont look for trubble . 9 times out of 10 its a regular civilian that causes trouble we avoid it . this is a clear sign of discrimination based on how you look . if I walked in there with plain clothes would that change who i am i am a biker and i love my life this is discrimination at its best this is not a kool bar dont get kicked out because your wearing the wrong team color

Señor Taco Menu with Prices 3401 Panama Ln, Bakersfield

Great, hot and fresh food! I had the pastor wet burrito and it was delicious! I hate it when a burrito is mostly rice and this one had the perfect balance! The pastor had a great flavor while the Chile verde on top gave it an authentic kick of spice that was perfect! The burrito was so big it was a dinner size portion. This was my first time of many here and I will try the tacos next time. People next to me ordered the nachos and they were huge, taking up the entire plate!

El Grullito – Menu with Prices – 1687 N California St #3, Stockton

I work across the street at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. The entire hospital is ecstatic that a new food joint is opening across the street. We have nothing near us when it comes to food options! I’ve visited here with coworkers several times now, and we enjoyed it very much. The meats are seasoned perfectly, with plenty of juices dripping into your tortilla. That’s a staple when it comes to good Mexican restaurants. I’ve ordered the carnitas burrito every time and it has NEVER disappointed. I’ve also ordered their carne asada French fries which come fully stacked and loaded. It’s a great dish to share to complement your burritos and tacos! The interior of the restaurant is very clean and well-organized, in a newly developed building next to a Starbucks and a Subway. Although there’s often homeless around the area, there’s usually enough foot traffic and police presence nearby that you never feel unsafe or bothered. Most of them around the area are nice, anyway. Here are some areas for improvement: Their rice is very very undercooked. It was undercooked and almost had a crunch to it the first time around. Several of my coworkers agreed. I thought maybe it was just a poorly cooked batch, so the next day I ordered the same thing again and the rice had the same crunchy undercooked consistency. From then on I just started ordering without rice, which really is unfortunate since rice in a burrito is great for soaking up all that flavor. There is little to no differentiation between the regular and super burrito. At pretty much every Mexican restaurant, a super burrito not only offers more, but is also larger in size. My coworkers and I compared burrito sizes (haha!) and they were exactly the same, even though half of us ordered super. Also, many of the supers were missing sour cream and the things that make it different. It appears we just paid the upcharge for no reason. All in all this is a MUST VISIT food joint. They’ve had great reviews on their taco truck and it’s great to see a local business grow and expand to a permanent location. And they picked a great place. Across the street from a huge hungry hospital with no competition nearby. It’s an untapped gold mine. I’ll continue to grab to-go orders from here, and I’ll definitely update my review to see if there’s been any changes.

Market Place & Cafe Menu with Prices 901 N Glebe Rd # 110, Arlington

Dear owners: is your business doing so well that you can afford to be blatantly rude to customers? (I don’t think so; it’s always empty when I go in.) I have gone here half a dozen times or so in the last year (it’s close to my office) for a breakfast sandwich. The food is not good and the interior is just passable, but it’s hard to mess up a breakfast sandwich, and the location is convenient for me. But this morning I went in, ordered a breakfast sandwich, handed him my credit card, and the wonder said, “no, it has to be cash for under $5”. (I have ordered the same sandwich in the past, for the same price, and he took my card.) I told him I didn’t have any cash. He yelled “stop” to his wife at the grill, who had started the sandwich, and then walked away from me without a word. Not any “I’m sorry, I’m afraid we can’t take the card for this amount” or “there is an ATM nearby” — just wordlessly walking away as I stood there with my card in hand, clearly looking confused. It’s not the card versus cash issue — I understand the economics of it, they get charged for credit card transactions — it’s the egregious, almost contemptuous, rudeness that I found so shocking. I will never go back.

Sweet Tree Cafe & Espresso – Menu with Prices – 995 Tyinn St #1, Eugene

First of all, the breakfast burritos are on point. They make each one by hand when you order it and it’s a big burrito for the price (I think it was about 6.50). The man who was working was super friendly and had my order ready in no time. I ate half of the burrito there and loved how fresh it tasted. It had scrambled eggs, cheese, avocado, potatoes and salsa and sour cream on the side. It comes with red onion but I asked for it without. You can also get the same burrito but with a meat option. They have a large sitting area with tables, couches, a TV, board games and books. The only reason I am not giving this place more stars is because my almond milk latte was burned when it was steamed. It had a horrible taste to it that at first I couldn’t tell because I was waiting for it to cool off while I enjoyed my burrito but when I left and started drinking it I realized the milk had been burnt. This cafe sits across from the DMV so its very convenient if you need something early in the morning or just want a snack or coffee after you’re done. It’s off the beaten track so I want everyone to know how great this place is! I will definitely go back and if my latte is burnt again I will let them know but I hope it was just an accidental thing.
