Highly recommend Lash Lounge for all of your lash needs! I’ve been getting lash extensions for years, and I switched over to Lash Lounge about six months ago and couldn’t be happier! I enrolled in their subscription service and it makes it so convenient and easy to book and pay for my appointments. All of the lash gals are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any and all of your questions about the process, their products, lash care, etc. They’ll ask you questions about the look you’re going for and will make recommendations on lash length/fullness based on the style you want. I always wake up from my fills feeling refreshed and beautiful! I have standing appointments with Chyna every other Saturday and she always does such an amazing job! You’ll definitely be in good hands with her or any of the other girls at this location.

Classy Lashes & Brows Studio – Menu with Prices – 42-31 162nd St, Flushing

I’ve been coming to Classy Lashes since December 2018…so that’s almost about 4 months which equals out to about 8 fills or so that I’ve been here. I’ve been religiously wearing eyelash extensions for 4+ years so this is definitely not my first salon and I’ve went through a fair share. My lashes are not easy to work with because they are both short and thin and not many lash places are able to place them on, have them stay on, AND make it look full for me. Everyone at Classy Lashes has been patient with me throughout the process of finding what works for me and what doesn’t. They try their best to accommodate to what I would like in lashes instead of telling me what I should get which I greatly appreciate. I think that’s the general idea that everyone needs to have with lash artists, it can take 1-2 tries or more to really find the style, length, volume, and thickness you want. Sometimes you might find yourself wanting less or more. Classy lashes is very versatile they’re able to execute various styles beautifully. I’ve had my eyebrows waxed multiple times by Jenny and I love how she shapes them so if you’re looking for a lash/brow place in the area, I would definitely recommend! They are very accommodating with appointments as well as I have a very busy work schedule and sometimes their latest appointments can go until 6 or 7 pm. Prices are reasonable for the quality of work. You can say I’m a regular here now!

Precise Microscalps- Scalp MicroPigmentation A Hair Loss Solution For men & Women – Menu with Prices – 9269 Utica Ave #180, Rancho Cucamonga

I’ve had mine done since the advent of lash extensions more than a decade ago so I’ve gotten to know a lot about it. Most importantly, I’ve gotten to know who is a competent lash tech/artist and who’s not because their skill is directly reflected on my face. I had mine done by Thalia here at this establishment. [I normally go to a different lash salon (Alyssa’s Eyelash) but I had to get it done last minute so]. The PROBLEM at the outset with THALIA is her LACK of communication/assessment of what the client needs or wants for her lashes. She didn’t talk much nor smile ( but it’s perfectly fine with me). But at least ask what my target or goal shape would be before pouring the extensions on my eyeballs. If she talked it was kinda condescending, so it made it hard to communicate what you wanted for lash She exudes the bad vice as if she had her doctorate degree in lash Ext. placement; therefore, you or no one questions her). As a result, when she had my eyes open at the end, I was unsatisfied with the shape- I wanted more of a cat-eye shape. So, she re-taped my eyes shut and added a few long, pubic- hair like curly lash at the outer canthus. So, now I have a curly lash at the outer end of my eyeballs that look like public hair as they curl and come up touching my eyelids?! (See photos) MORAL OF THE STORY: I WOULD NEVER GET MY LASH DONE AGAIN BY THALIA.

Lash Out & Day Spa | Eyelash Extensions – Menu with Prices – 800 Compton Rd #34, Cincinnati

I was a regular customer of Tina’s. I committed myself financially tothe lashes, as they are not cheap. She is a good lash artist, but became too overwhelmed with her clientele, as she is a one woman show. It is impossible schedule a fill-in once you have the initial application. By the time she was able to see me, it would be time for a whole new lash set and would set me back $250! I recently received a text notice from Tina in which she cut off her services to new and a few ongoing clients. This notification was received 1 day prior to my fill-in appointment. She is also in the habit of talking trash about her other clients if they should happen to need to reschedule or are unhappy about their service. There are other very professional and reputable lash companies out there, so I would not commit and waste your time with Lash Out.

40 Thieves Hookah Lounge San Jose – Menu with Prices – 2220 Business Cir, San Jose

I need to take a moment to give Yosef a shoutout. Back when this place first opened, under different management, the vibe of the lounge was not there. The sofas were set-up in unconventional ways which didn’t really allow for a good smoking experience if you came with a bigger party. I have been going to 40 Thieves since last year, when my brother re-introduced me to it. He told me the hookahs were the best. I called him a liar. He said that the owner was really customer service oriented. I told him it wouldn’t last. But, I’ve been coming to 40 Thieves as my go-to hookah spot now. I left a lounge that I went to for three years straight because Yosef is an amazing owner who really goes for the customer experience. He consistently checks in with all of his guests to see if they need anything. Even when all the hookahs have been brought out, he’ll still stand by the door to look throughout the entire lounge to see if he can spot anyone who may need help. The interior has been re-designed to fit the new vibe of the lounge. New furniture fills the entire lounge and new artwork fills the walls. Yosef is the best hookah chef I have ever met. I don’t think there is a single bowl that he can’t make. Thanks, Yosef, for providing an awesome lounge. Best place to chill after a long day’s work or to catch-up with friends or just study.

DC Lash Bar Menu with Prices 4238 Wilson Blvd Unit 1150, Arlington

I recently moved and wanted to find a new lash tech in the area. I’ve gone to a few people in the past and loved them so maybe my bar is set very high. I decided to try the lash bar due to the very convenient location. Unfortunately, that is one of the few positives I have to say about this place. They definitely did not meet the same level of quality that I am accustomed to. The Process: They bring you into the back room and have you lay down with very little discussion or anything. I came in straight from work so I had on makeup and was wearing my contact lenses. I was expecting a bit of a consultation beforehand where they would give me something to remove my makeup and allow me to take out my contacts (this had always been my experience with other lash techs). Since she did not ask me anything, I asked her if she was going to remove my makeup for me and if I should take my contacts out. She said my contacts were fine but gave me a cotton pad to go remove my eye makeup. I have always been told contacts are a no go when getting lash work done, but ok. They also did not send anything out before the appointment saying to come with a clean face which is why I assumed maybe she would do that part for me. I have never been to a professional salon for lashes before so I was expecting the process to be more luxury, especially for the price. So then I finally lay down and she gets right to work. Typically the set up takes a bit of time and they clean your eye area and tape everything down. All she did was put something on my under eye area, glued the rod on top of my lid, and started to apply the perm. At the end, she took a fan and blew it right into my open eye with my contacts on (contacts dry out super easily) which was quite uncomfortable. She was also pretty rough. I felt a lot of tugging and pulling on my eye area and lashes. She showed me my lashes at the end and my eyes were so dry and kind of in pain at that point so I looked at them and didn’t notice much difference but thought it was because of my blurry vision. The Results: My lashes looked slightly lifted, but nothing really noticeable. I decided to wait another day so I could wash them and see if maybe they were being weighed down by the residue still left on my lashes. By day 2 they just looked liked my regular lashes so I was pretty disappointed. Luckily, they allow you to come back for adjustments within 5 days of your original appointment. I really didn’t want to have another perm done so soon after the first one, but for what I paid I wanted to see results. I went back and she told me she didn’t use the right rod or something the first time. This time I did see immediate results. They were more of a “curl” than the lift that I usually like to have, but at least I could see something so I was happy with that. Results pt. 2: It has now been only 2 weeks and my lashes are all kinds of wonky. They are pointing in all different directions and the ends are weird and kinky. It takes me a good 10 mins fussing with mascara in the morning now to make them appear somewhat presentable. The whole point of the lash lift (for me) is to wake up and go. I am now spending more time getting ready than if I just didn’t get it done at all. I have done lash lifts for the past 2 years and never had any problems like this. It usually lasts about 6 weeks on my lashes and they look good from start until the next time I get the lift done. Overall Thoughts: I find this place to be on the expensive side. Lash lifts in the past have run me about $75. This place charges $90. For 2 weeks of nice lashes, that price is just too steep for me. My previous lash tech worked out of her living room and the experience was much more luxurious and professional. The reviews here are really good, so I am considering my experience to be out of the norm or my expectations were just too high. Everyone working there was nice and friendly, however, my results were not there and the price is too high.

Pony Studios – Menu with Prices – 6012 College Ave, Berkeley

After two years of not having a proper haircut out of fear that I will get girl next door hair that is boring and impossible to style… I searched and searched and finally found COOL GIRL HAIR can be yours at Pony Studios! I took the plunge and made an appt with Corinna. With inspirational photos in hand I went, fingers crossed, that she would see my inner cool girl somewhere beneath my stringy grey blond mop. Entering the beautiful open space I was greeted warmly… we talked over my lifestyle (never blow dry, barely brush… need a look that can wake up, look effortless and pretty without having a top-knot everyday). We looked at the pictures, Corinna offered ideas as she looked at my texture and color. I want long hair but also want style around my face to give versatility and interest… can’t we have it all? YES… she gave me all the pretty face framing bits with more movement and style and I can still put it up! Corinna showed me how I can move my part to the side a bit to give that sexy soft “I woke up this way” look and how to use a bit of product to tame flyaways and look styled. Feeling like a cool girl… I didn’t want to leave. They have products to sample… yummy smelling skin care and organic hair creams and a big raw edge table where you can sit and look at giant fashion books. Super approachable space to hang out with really nice people… just BOOK IT, you’ll leave feeling on top of the world.

Girl To Goddess – Menu with Prices – 13050 San Vicente Blvd Suite 205, Los Angeles

If I could I would give Anastasia more then 5+ stars! I’ve been getting my lashes done for the past few years and have followed Anastasia wherever she goes. Her new studio in Brentwood is so convenient and I’m so excited for her new endeavor! Her lash artistry is second to none. Being Asian, I have the shortest & thinnest lashes. I am always trying to go w thicker lashes. She customizes my look exactly the way I request all the while maintaining good lash care. They last close to 3 weeks! She is always so accommodating w the scheduling also. You will love your lashes from Anastasia… I am always thankful to her for getting me ready for all my special occasions! She’s one of the best around!

Bridal Breeze Wedding Dress Shop – Menu with Prices – 755 Sutter St Suite 100, San Francisco

I went here last weekend with a few of my girlfriends and the entire experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. First – the online appointment scheduling was fast, easy, and up to date. No back and forth calling for appointments! Second – once we got there, the shop was beautiful, clean, and Marina welcomed us in right away. She had champagne and mini-macarons available for me and my friends, and she asked questions about my wedding and explained her approach to helping me find a gown. Third – the dresses here are so reasonably priced! I was expecting an SF mark up but everything was within my range, and Marina made sure to only show me dresses that would fall within my budget. I had never tried on dresses before, and she was patient, kind, and very encouraging the whole time. She was great with my friends and kept them entertained while I was trying things on. The selection of dresses here was GREAT! Many of the styles were ones I had never seen before, and it was so great to be able to try on such unique pieces. Marina started by letting us pick some dresses and then gradually modified her picks based on what I was liking – and one of the dresses she picked ended up being my favourite! I wasn’t quite ready to buy right away and Marina was not pushy and very kind – but I can definitely see myself returning here to ultimately purchase my dream dress!

Vivi Bubble Tea – Menu with Prices – 3520 Preston Rd Suite 108, Frisco

Tried this place since KungFu Tea was out of mango for their mango slush. Menu look good. Had difficulty with the talking. I had a bit of a hard time trying to get my questions answered. Asked about the Oreo Creame Burlee (what I thought it was more of a milk shake) it is straight up milk. So the mis- understanding just cost me to waste my money and probably my business to this estalishment. Fills like you got taken advantage of when money gets wasted that easily and your kid looks at you like I didn’t get anything. We almost went back to complain but I dont think it wouldn’t have done much good. The other issue that bugs me is that its summer temperatures out there now why would I want to order cool mike on a hot day. Word of advice on customer service. Know your menu and just put two and two together and suggest or guide a customer towards shake versus cool milk. This was our first time here and recommendations would have been welcomed.

Swingin’ Door Exchange – Menu with Prices – 219 E Michigan St, Milwaukee

I think this place was the closest I could find in getting food that didn’t resemble bar food. 4.5 FOOD QUALITY: Blackened chicken sandwich was a very hearty delight: a good peppery mouthfeel with sweetness from the chicken and the aioli; the creaminess helps in preventing the sandwich from feeling dry. I would have liked the bread a little more toasted to get a crunch, but I didn’t really mind all the fluffy fullness since i didn’t get tired of chewing. But. Those. Carrots. Are insane. It’s a upgraded side choice, but the sweetness is mellowed out but it had a touch of acid in it that lifted the sandwich bite all while providing a nice, roasted caramel flavor to it. It went perfectly with the sandwich SERVICE: They were generally pretty friendly and helpful in giving recommendations. They checked up on me a couple times and filled my water cup ENVIRONMENT; It’s not too noisy, but it did feel a little bit like a dive bar in the area that i sat. The dining room is a step up from that in a more traditional restaurant sense, but overall there wasn’t anything negative to my experience Overall, pretty decent food led me to enjoy my bite here so if you’re looking for a place that is void of only having fried food and burgers then there are options here
