Charmed. Yes, this tiny trailer stole my heart. So laid back, and very memorable of old Austin, yet run by young ladies. This is in an area where there is excellent BBQ place in the same parking lot. Thus, when you OD on BBQ, I suggest walking across the lot and grab something to keep you from falling asleep while driving home full of Q. The little trailer has an eclectic menu and I imagine they could whip up some really unusual custom coffee items that are not even on the menu. It was spotless, they had quality equipment (as I was peering through the window to check what was there) and the young lady at the window was just as charming and friendly as could be. This definitely earned the fourth star. I needed caffeine badly and went to a two shot espresso. It was extremely aromatic, and extremely smooth. I like this area, and will be coming back. What a little gem. Definitely give it a try.

Sunnyside Cup – Menu with Prices – 3008 Broad St, Chattanooga

Oh I’ve wanted to drive thru Sunnyside Cup forever! Being that I get to work at 5a typically, I haven’t been able to get there. Well this morning I had to go to one of my offsite locations and was able to get over there. So cute! It’s a tiny little trailer just over the bridge just in to St Elmo. The fact that there were 3 people in that tiny trailer was astonishing. Didn’t look like anyone moved from their assigned station. LOL. I ordered a mocha coffee and a banana nut muffin. The coffee was yummy and chocolatey and hot. Very smooth. Just what I needed for the hour drive to my destination. The muffin seemed fresh baked and and some good depth to it. I would have liked it a bit more dense and a little more nutty, but it was still good and helped coat the tummy. I hope I can get by there again, and you should too!

Pinpoint Cafe – Menu with Prices – 7855 Ivanhoe Ave, La Jolla

This a great little coffee kiosk and snack bar. They make most of the traditional coffees and a a lot of the trendy ones as well. I stopped by before heading over to Duck’s for some brunch giving I had some time to spare before my party arrived. I ordered the Cafe au Lait made from a hazelnut flavor coffee. It was a smooth and rich cup of coffee with hazelnut overtones. The young lady made a good cup of coffee. They also offer some local baked good, salads, soups, and even burritos I hear. Service was top notch and quite friendly. I enjoyed the conversation with the young lady working the kiosk. They offer a few tables on the sidewalk and a mini traveling library.

The Coffee Chemist – Menu with Prices – Unnamed Road, Jacksonville

While I was waiting in my car in the Mall parking lot area, I kept hearing the sound of a generator from far away. The sound was coming from a portable trailer called The Coffee Chemist. The sound of course drew me to the trailer like a Zombie from The Walking Dead.   I met Jordan, the owner… “THE” Coffee Chemist herself. She was very nice and friendly. She offers all coffee varieties: Lattes, Expressos, Cold Brews, Cappuccinos, etc.  So many choices but I eventually opted to order The Nutty Professor, which is a Nutella based Iced Coffee. It was pretty good.   Furthermore, you can find & follow The Coffee Chemist on Facebook and Instagram.   #SupportLocal

DeNovo Coffee – Menu with Prices – 4880 Louetta Rd, Spring

This morning I went out to run an errand and decided to stop in at DeNovo Coffee (Spring) for a Quick-Pick-Me-Up-Refresher. Checked out their Menu and decided on the ‘Royal Mocha’ (Iced); A Rich Dark Chocolate Mocha. Pulled up to the Window and there she was … ‘ Another Girl in the Window ‘ … with a Great Big Smile on her Cuteness. She explained to me exactly what I was about to receive and it sounds Refreshingly Delicious … and because I was in the Military, I am getting a Military Discount (I Love DeNovo … Thank You). Open Pitt Bar-B-Que – Menu with Prices – 12335 St Clair Ave, Cleveland

Spent half of Father’s Day trying to order three simple dinners. Called in my order, the older lady acted as if she was having trouble hearing so I had to yell and have her repeat the order back to me with the total of $32.10. She said 35 minutes and I was there on time. When I got there the young lady called me to her window and I gave her my Name and the last four of my phone number. She goes back and forth and finally hands me a bag and says $38.00?? I said the total was $32 something and she checked me and said no, it’s $38.00. I didn’t make a fuss, I just paid and got out of the crowd. I got home and not one dinner was correct. Had to drive all the way back, there not answering the phone, wait in line for the young lady to tell me she didn’t know what happened, my ticket was lost and the order she gave me had a different first 3 digits. All the while, the old lady says nothing. The place has fallen off since the Original Owner retired and they make it hard to continue supporting local businesses. Extremely disappointed.

Columbia’s Favourite Custard – Menu with Prices – 3304 W Broadway Business Park Ct, Columbia

I am comparing Randy’s with another small chain — Andy’s. Both are located in Columbia, MO. Randy’s Pros: A more smooth, creamy and fresh dairy tasting vanilla yogurt. More selections i.e. toppings. Randy’s Cons: Raspberry and peach toppings are more like jelly than whole fruit toppings (haven’t tried other fruit toppings). Randy is friendly, but his hired staff — not so much. It seems his young staff are not very cordial — not rude — but not cordial. We had no one behind us, and the young lady was all business with a “Next” attitude in spite of the fact that I was trying to solicit a little warmth from our particular window clerk. Next to the jelly consistency of Randy’s fruit topppings — my single cherry on my Sunday had a past it’s prime bite to it. You know sort of like pineapple that has turned. Andy’s seems to have a limited, but sufficient list of selections. Andy’s vanilla frozen custard has an okay flavor, but nothing to write home about. Andy’s staff is very, very friendly with a can do attitude. Because of Andy’s fruit toppings being less jelly like and a friendly staff — we will probably continue to choose them. However, we will check out Randy’s now and then to see if his frozen custard sundae fruit toppings become more like “fruit” toppings.

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers – Menu with Prices – 7585 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs

So we finally got around to stopping here and ordering some food after all the big Hype about this Place. Ordered the Caniac Box and the Combo Box , not thinking didn’t check the boxes before leaving shouldn’t have too, but got home and the Caniac Box was suppose to have 6 fingers in it and only had 4 the Fries were cold and soggy and the Slaw was not cold like it sits out for room temp. So I call back to them and after three ties of calling I got the manager and explained about my meal and she said ok I could go back and get the 2 fingers that was missing or she would put me in the recovery box and would replace the Caniac that I ordered so I took that option. I went back the following Friday and upon ordering I informed the Gentleman what Happened the last time I was there and I was in the recovery book for a replacement Caniac Box and I also wanted to order a Combo box and Please make sure my order was right and he answered No Problem also informed me the MOD (manager on duty) will meet me at the first window to take care of it, I pulled around to the first window and the young lady that was working there tells me the price and I told her I needed the MOD and she asked what was going on, So as I was explain to her about the mishap last time I was there the MOD showed up and I Asked both of them if they can make sure my order was right and they both said No problem, So now that’s 3 employees that I have asked to make sure it was right and 1 Of them was a MANGER. Now I’m at the pick up window waiting and when the young Lady hands me my food I ask her if its right and she says it should be but she don’t open it to check. So I pull around the corner and park right next to the door to check my food the Combo box is right but Yup you guessed it when I opened my Caniac Box after being assured by 3 employees and 1Manger that it will be right Yea ok this time it had 3 chicken fingers in it, So I got out of the truck and went in side and got the same Manger that was out the window and had her open the box and she says this is the way you received it at the window and I Said yes and she said I cant believe that, I was angered by that comment and asked her did you check it like you said you were going to and she looked down and said No. I told her she was more then welcomed to come check my truck and see if there was any chicken in there and she was still rued and said she would be right back when she came back she handed me a small box and then walked off, not saying she was sorry that it happened again or not following up to make sure it didn’t happen again just like I was ripping them off. I will never EAT at another Raising Cane’s again its way over Priced Chicken Fingers that have no flavor unless you use a sauce and you don’t get all your food $12.29 for 6 little Chicken fingers and what little fry’s you get and warm Flavorless slaw. Contacted Corp and all they did was send my email back to the restaurant. Buyer Beware you can find better or the same chicken Fingers else ware for less money

Adriana Mexican Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 16724 Stuebner Airline Rd, Spring

My family and I have been here several times and this is one of the very few places where the food tastes homemade. The service is great, the young girls serving and taking orders treat you with respect and are very soft spoken, The other lady that serves makes the best Jamaica juice ever and she’s extremely nice and takes the time to talk to see how you are how the service was and the quality of the food. As long as they are here we will definitely be coming back.

Minervas Restaurant – Sioux Falls – Menu with Prices – 301 S Phillips Ave, Sioux Falls

First time in Sioux Falls, no idea where to eat, but our hosts said “Minervas” was their favorite, so Minervas it was. Granted, we were in Sioux Falls for only one night, but if Minervas wasn’t the best in town, then it certainly earned the right to be up there! It’s kind of an old-school classic American cuisine restaurant, steaks and chops, but also with some local specialties like fried lake walleye and chislic (which turned out to be a Turkish word – although for the life of me, I didn’t see many minorities there period, let alone those of Middle Eastern descent!) – so of course we had to try these. Cubes of beef, fried and seasoned with garlic and barbecue sauce, it wasn’t bad – but probably not enough for me to make a return trip to SD. What would make me return, however, was their roasted duck – lean, tender, flavorful, with a fantastic crisped skin and an old-school orange sauce accompaniment. Service was excellent, attentive and friendly, and we had a charming young lady waiting on us who had a very good knowledge of the menu.

About The Coffee – Menu with Prices – 3160 Terrace St, Kansas City

ATC is an amazing place for anyone who is curious about any and all things coffee. There is a whole room full of coffee gadgets, brew equipment, accessories, and a wall of demo equipment that the staff is more than happy to show you. It’s basically a really inviting, hands-on retail space. It’s not a coffee shop, but they do love to offer you a cup of coffee when you walk in the door. They want you serve you a cup that you will enjoy, so they ask questions about what qualities of a coffee you enjoy. If they don’t have an answer to your coffee questions (which would be surprising), they are more than happy to figure it out with you. Very unpretentious and comfortable. They also do free demos. It’s nice to have free education in an age where everything seems to have a price tag.

Coffee Nature – Menu with Prices – 355 Bristol St #U, Costa Mesa

Pleasant experience today. I am awaiting an appointment nearby and was helped by a kind young lady with long wavy light brown hair, wish I knew her name. She greeted me with a genuine smile, took her time with me since I’ve never been here before and politely explained things to me as far as ringing me up goes. I ordered their turkey panini with an iced white tea + added honey. It came in at about $13 plus 15% tip. Well worth it, the white tea is refreshing and not overly sweet. Their panini was quality and the crunch of their bread was satisfying. Just for the kind and genuine service and aesthetically pleasing decor was worth a trip in here. I have been in this plaza previously and due to the sign and name “Coffee Nature,” it seemed like a standard coffee shop that I assumed probably had subpar items. Boy! I was wrong, you can tell by the atmosphere here this place is calm, friendly and had good vibes for sure! I wish this place was near my house in Laguna Hills, definitely wonderful for studying as I see how insanely packed they are with nice looking clientele. Just a bunch of chill folk, enjoying what looked like delicious coffee and being productive. Wish I could try their coffee but unfortunately I already had mine this morning and didn’t want to overdo myself. I love the whole concept in here, the swinging seats were super adorable against the green, leafy artwork. Makes me want to open a coffee shop ? Great job on this and for your pleasant staff. I’d love to come back, if you are reading this and debating on coming…just do it. Their stuff is quality and the atmosphere is nice.

Coffee & Cake Cafe – Menu with Prices – 4407 W Fuqua St suite l, Houston

It was my first time coming here, I needed to get a coffee and wasn’t going to have time to make one at home and didn’t want to stop by a Starbucks for one..I don’t like to get coffee from fast food places (just my choice) so I searched for the nearest coffee shop and came across this hidden jewel! It’s in a shopping center so very convenient and also near my community. They had different baked goods. It smelled so good I had a hard time choosing but ended up taking a banana slice bread. I believe the lady told me it was dark roast Kenyan coffee (I saw the bag next to the brewery) very nice and pleasant atmosphere. Sweet lady who attended to me was just very detailed with all they had and provided one the best customer service. Less than 5 mins and I was set to go with my coffee and pastry. Will be stopping here again!
