I have no complaints and only a positive experience with Jerry Burger and Farmers Insurance. Unfortunately I was involved in an auto accident a while back and these folks made the process as pleasant as possible. They are responsive, informative and great to work with. The same has be true with other involvement such as asking general questions, and making informed changes to my coverage. Thumbs up!

The Rawls Course – Menu with Prices – The Rawls Course at Texas Tech, 3720 4th St, Lubbock

I visited Lubbock yesterday and the first thing I did when I got there was meet my brother at The Rawls Course – Texas Tech’s very own golf club. Neither of us had eaten lunch yet and we were both starving, so we decided to try Jerry’s Grill located inside the clubhouse. I ordered the Stubb’s burger ($6.50) – a 1/3lb. hamburger that’s been grilled with BBQ sauce, melted cheese, and topped with two fried onion rings. It also comes with french fries. Oh man, this burger was good! Succulent patty soaked in Stubb’s very own BBQ sauce. I love the fried onion rings on top because they lend a new crispy texture to every bite. The french fries were crispy and not overly salted. I like that they still had the skin on them. Everything was just.. great! Besides burgers, Jerry’s also has a bunch of fresh sandwiches and salads and earlier in the day, they serve breakfast too. Afterwards, we were supposed to hit some golf balls, but who can play golf after eating all that? That’s why I recommend you play first and eat afterwards. Reward yourself after a long, hot day of golf with an ice cold beverage and one of Jerry’s excellent burgers.

Red Crab Juicy Seafood – Menu with Prices – 204 E 9 Mile Rd, Pensacola

I found this location on Yelp during my vacation to Pensacola. I ordered takeout for my mother and grandmother and the loved every second of their order. Upon entering, I was greeted by a young employee that appeared to be new. I explained I would like to order takeout and told him what I wanted. The explained that that item was not on the menu, however, I called minutes before arriving and was told they had the item and even gave me a price. However, Jerry came over to save the day. Jerry rung me up and told me the wait would be a few minutes. I decided to go sit in my car until my food was ready. Next thing I know, Jerry is walking toward my car with my order. Can you say OUTSTANDING customer service. Great job Jerry! — Because of my experience with Jerry, I decided to bring my mom here for dinner. We had a waitress who was OK. She was soo fast moving, I forgot to use my Yelp coupon which was disappointing. I explained the situation to the manager and they were not accommodating

Jerry’s Cigar Shop Northeast – Menu with Prices – 2910 Kerry Forest Pkwy, Unit A1A, Tallahassee

The new Jerry’s Cigar Shop in Killearn is first rate in many ways. The walk in humidor is large and more importantly, very well stocked. They carry cigars from just about any brand you can think of and offer a deep selection within each one. The entryway and seating area was much larger than I anticipated and nicely designed. Several large televisions are mounted to catch sporting events etc. They also have a two door beer and wine cooler with a nice selection of craft beers and traditional imports. Next to the cooler is a complimentary single serve coffee machine with several varieties to choose from (nice touch). I personally enjoy a nice cup of joe with my cigar. Rick was working the counter the evening I was there and was very informative on all things cigars. He also let me know that they offer a personal cigar locker program that charges by the month but offers great discounts and money back towards in store purchases. I tried a cigar called Liga Privada #9 during my visit. It was a bit more expensive than what I’m used to buying but may have been one finest smokes I’ve ever had. Another nice feature of Jerry’s is the high ceilings and “smoke eaters” that provide excellent circulation throughout the lounge. I’m looking forward to my next…If you like cigars, you will love Jerry’s.

Kinder’s Meat Deli BBQ – Menu with Prices – 43761 Boscell Rd #5125, Fremont

So I just celebrated 20 yrs with my company and with my anniversary my company gives us a “luncheon” basically a budget to spend of food to celebrate. I decided to order bbq from Kinder’s. So I called and spoke to Jerry who was kind enough to take my special order and allow for my boss to pay for it over the phone using the company card and to also save her a trip of coming all the way down to pay for it in person. Jerry was the BEST! He was so accommodating and friendly!! The entire experience was so simple and quick! The day of pick up Jerry calls me to ask if I can call my boss because the cc code is missing a digit .. she paid with a American Express card. So I send her a text to let her know that with American Express credit cards the security code is 4 digits and it’s on the front of the card instead of the back of the card. She never replied back to me. So a couple hours pass and I call Jerry to just make sure he got what he needed and he said he did get the code but that my boss was very rude to him! I felt so embarrassed. He said he didn’t understand why she was getting upset with him and that she insisted it’s a 3 digit code and that she gave it to him that he must not have been paying attention. Smh. She was wrong. It is indeed a 4 digit code. I apologized to jerry and he said it wasn’t my fault. He still treated me so kindly and just was so nice! I will definitely be calling Kinder’s again in the future for all our bbq needs! Jerry and the guys at the shop were the absolute best!

Lula’s Neighborhood Grill – Menu with Prices – 4821 Yosemite Blvd, Modesto

This place was great the first time and terrible the second. Lying owners. I order a burger combo and a western bacon burger with shoe string onion rings. I was rung up for my order as if everything was ok. I watched the cook, cook our burgers and smash them so many times to speed up the cooking process which relieves the juice from the party leaving a burger that is dry and no juice. I got home to beer battered onions instead of shoe string, I called back and let the lady know I order shoe string and got regular. She then informed me “oh yea, cause we ran out” so I was never informed you ran out at the register and proceeded to take my money. After I called and opened my western burger and guess what. THERE SHOE STRING ONION RINGS IN MY BURGER. So they didn’t run out. I usually don’t mind for accidents like this if the people own up to their mistakes but, The one thing I hate about restaurants is when they lie. It makes them look stupider. Threw my food away due to nasty dry burger. Thanks for nothing

Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market – open October through May – Menu with Prices – 3806 N Brown Ave, Scottsdale

I am not a big Farmers Market person, and I’ve only been to a few other ones in the Phoenix area, but this is my favorite one. I like the VARIETY of vendors that they have. There’s several unique, local products here that you just don’t find at other Farmers Markets. Honestly, I’m not sure if the produce is any better/there’s more of it compared to other Farmers Markets, but what they have is always fresh and there’s a good variety. This is an especially great Farmers Market for already made items (breakfast, pastries, etc…). There was a begniet lady there last time I came (wish I can remember her name…I lost her card) who made such yummy pastry! One thing about this Farmers Market is that it’s very compact & stands are very well organized, which is something I like. The lot it’s set up on isn’t THAT big (compared to other Farmers Market lots I’ve been to), but there’s deceptively quite a few vendors. Also, because they are right in Old Town a lot of local restaurants in the area set up stands here to sample food (and hand out coupons).

Slices on French – Menu with Prices – 723 French St, Erie

This comfortable little bar & grill is a clean, smoke free, family friendly, and excellent friendly service. Located about 150 yards from Erie Insurance Arena, home to the Erie Otters, Erie Bayhawks, Erie Explosion, and 200 yards from Jerry Uht Park home of the AA Erie Seawolves. Affordable prices, specials for happy hour, after the games, and for lunch. Delivery available from 11am to 2pm M-F for lunches to the office. They have a really great diverse menu: An awesome 1/2lb Arena burger, Beef Wek, wraps, salads, homemade cut french fries, and OMG PIZZA! Oh yeah, their deep fried pickles are the best! I recommend dipping them in French dressing and also their ranch. Cold family friendly beverages and adult beverages! I will say if you want to catch a great meal before an Otters game, you may want to go a tad earlier than normal, this place is very popular for the food before the hockey game and fill up fast. One of the specials after the game is 16oz bud lights for $2.00 price of the food is $4-$15, will not break the budget. Next time downtown to catch a game or a concert, see Eric (one of the owners ) and the rest of the gang for great food and service. Enjoy.

Petit Harvest – Menu with Prices – 1315 3rd Street Promenade Suite B, Santa Monica

Healthy eats in the SocialEats food hall. The concept is that the ingredients are fresh and gives a vibe that they were plucked from the farmers market. Being that Michelin Star chef Graham Elliot is associated with it, I had high expectations. I ordered the farmers market salad ($8) and added chicken (+$4) while my coworker got the beyond burger. The girl wouldn’t give us the Santa Monica worker discount because she said it’s only if you work on the promenade. Similar to the other restaurants in the hall, you pay first and then find a table while you wait for the buzzer to ring. There are some tables around the corner if you don’t want to sit at the counter. My salad was good but it’s size was incongruent with how filling it actually is. In other words, it looked like it would be filling but I still felt hungry and went back to the office and ate a half bagel (whoops). The salad itself was good although it was extremely light on the dressing so some of the vegetables were dry. I liked the corn kernels (found on the bottom) because they were sweet and popped with juiciness when you chewed them. The chicken was also good – it was shredded and moist, and had a sweetness which reminded me of a chicken salad you’d get at a picnic. However for $12 you could go to tender greens and get a more substantial salad, so there’s a trade off. There is free truffles popcorn if you check in on yelp. Overall it’s a convenient place for healthy eats, but I’d definitely add chicken (if you eat meat) to the farmers market salad and if you get the burger, know that it’s also on the smaller side and you might want to get a side to share so that you’re full. Otherwise this is good for a light meal.

CVS Pharmacy Menu with Prices 2014 Powers Ferry Rd, Atlanta

Like some of the other commentators, I have never written a yelp review before, but for this CVS location I had to. I advise NO ONE uses this location for prescriptions or medications if they are in need of something in a timely manner. Not only was I hung up on and ignored, like many of the others who wrote reviews, but the pharmacists denied me of my medications that I needed. Maybe too much information but… I had a UTI, and for those who have had them know how uncomfortable and painful they can be if they go untreated. My prescription could not be filled the same day, as they had to order the medicine. No offense as I understand that can happen (not ideal but ok).. It wasn’t until day two when I was told my insurance was expired that I started to get upset. I had called all day and been hung up on several times, before they mentioned what the issue was as to why they had not filled my prescription. They claimed my insurance was expired, after hanging up on me to tell me they were TOO BUSY to help me get the issue straightened out. My insurance was not expired, the pharmacist and the technician just refused to call my insurance company to check. I called the insurance company and it was a very simple fix. By the time my prescription was ready I woke up on the third day with pain since the infection had only grown worse. I have never been in such an incompetent environment as this one where the most important job of a pharmacist – fulfilling prescriptions – was so blatantly ignored. I had hoped I was the only one with these issues until reading similar reviews where many have experienced the same problems. To my dismay, many who have gone to this CVS failed to get their medical needs taken care of. Thank god I was not in an absolute medical emergency or I can only imagine the situation I would be in three days later with no medicine. DO NOT FILL YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE.

The Partridge Inn Augusta, Curio Collection by Hilton Menu with Prices 2110 Walton Way, Augusta

My family and i stayed here over the weekend 05/04-05/05. My mom reserved MONTHS ago two rooms with two queen beds in each room. We were given two rooms on the 5th floor, but her room key did not work. They assigned her another room on the 2nd floor. We left for the wedding and when we got back realized that the new room only had 1 queen bed. This now left 1 of our guest without a bed. i went downstairs very calm and asked for a cot, the lady at the desk informed us that they could not get us a cot because the maids were not in, i then asked for extra blankets and a pillow so that our guest could at least sleep on the floor (which should’nt of been a situation to begin with) she then brings me two blankets and tells me they do not have any extra pillows. at this point its late and im very aggravted given the fact that the PI is a kinda pricey and supposed to be a ‘nice’ hotel. It was very unprofessional and very unaccomodating. Another thing, I called a few days before the reservation and asked some questions about the shuttle service. the man on the phone informed us that they do shuttle service 3-5 miles or to a wedding. The wedding was within the radius and given its a wedding there should be no problem.. He DID NOT inform us that it was first come first serve basis. He just said all PI guest have access to it. So 1 hour before the wedding we went downstairs to let them know we would need a shuttle and the guy informed us that it was booked there was nothing they could do about it. I understand it being first come first serve but thats something that should be told to guest especially when they call and ask questions about it. My parents ended up driving home at 2 am so that my sister in law could sleep in their ONE bed and not on the floor with two scratchy blankets that were not even comforters. Very annoyed with how the employees handled this situation. We will not be staying at the PI ever again. I’ve stayed here personally, so many times and have never had such an awful expierence.

Sinaloa Mexican & Seafood – Menu with Prices – 1759 Oceanside Blvd, Oceanside

I had seen this place while going to the supermarket and had great reviews… Well they’re not all true I bought a fish taco and I got a quarter fish taco only realized once I had driven 8 miles home. When I informed them about it I got offered to come back and get a new taco the owner did not apologize and stated it’s only a $1.50 taco…I wanted a fish taco and got a cheap excuse I’m not making the prices if you can’t offer what you’re advertising for the price then just charge me more. Needless to say I’m not coming back, I guess if they skimp on this they do on everything else don’t fall for it.
