Creminelli Fine Meats – Menu with Prices – 310 N Wright Brothers Dr, Salt Lake City

This location is actually the production facility of Creminelli Fine Meats. We’re talking meat factory, but without all the blood and gore. Why am I reviewing a salami factory? Because I had the good fortune of getting a tour of the place, thanks to the meeting of the broswhobrunch and ladieswholunch minds. The guys at Creminelli were incredibly welcoming. I felt right at home – as at home one can feel at a meat factory. The tour we were taken on was comprehensive and I learned more about meat than I ever wanted to, but also some really important things like the fact that Creminelli is all-natural and nitrate free. Cristiano himself was a fun host, as well. He told us why he does what he does and you could feel his passion. He said this isn’t a job for him, it’s a hobby and it makes him happy. Well, it makes me happy, too. We had the pleasure of being present when Cristiano’s father was visiting from Italy on his first trip to see the business his son had built. It was a special occasion, and our hosts didn’t let us leave hungry. We tasted a plethora of meats from their new line and I left in a meaty daze. I was never much of a salami fan before but I’ll be darned if we didn’t go right to Harmon’s and purchase some that very day. I am a convert. In addition to Harmon’s you can buy their products at the Trolley Square Whole Foods and Tony Caputo’s. They also have a great website and online store. I am smitten with Creminelli Fine Meats.

McCabe’s Guitar Shop – Menu with Prices – 3101 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica

Love this place — it’s so much more than a store! I moved to LA a couple of years ago and McCabe’s is right near the top of my list of things I love about my new home. McCabe’s is a great place if you’re looking for a new instrument. We’ve purchased two so far, but there are always new temptations. They have a varied selection of guitars, ukuleles, and other stringed instruments across a range of prices, as well as some unusual vintage instruments, but that’s just the beginning. They offer both group classes and private lessons that cover a variety of types of music, age groups, and instruments. Cheryl Saunders’ 2.5 class is a weekly treat for me and has brought my guitar playing to new levels. Cheryl helps us learn to play all kinds of styles, develop some technique, train our ears, and generally understand better how music works — all in a purposeful but relaxed, fun, easygoing atmosphere. About once a year she also offers a bossa nova series — pure gold! I sign up every time it comes around. I grew up in a family of musicians, and it’s such a joy for me to be able to get together and make music with other people. McCabe’s also has a full slate of concerts where music lovers can see and hear great musicians up close. And the folks in their tech shop are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I never change my own strings anymore because it’s so easy to have them do it for me.

Buzzed Barbers – Menu with Prices – 1200 N Pacific Ave Unit 102, Glendale

I don’t do reviews very often unless its well deserved!. Buzzed Barbers! you guys are AMAZING!!!! I came across this place after a Starbucks run. I saw a Grand Opening banner and it just so happened I had been looking for a place to take my son to get a haircut. Looking for a kids barber that will be patient with a kid is hard let alone looking for a place that will be able to cut a child with special needs. I walked in and was right away greeted by EJ and Matt. I was letting them know I was looking for a barber to cut my son’s hair. They both said they are more than happy to do it. I then asked if they had any experience with children who have autism, they did say no BUT! would be more than happy to make accommodations needed to make my son comfortable. EJ gave me their card and said to please call him once I was ready. I called him on Wednesday morning and talked to EJ, if he had anything available that day he said Yes. We prepared my son by walking to the shop and explaining we made a quick stop at Starbucks (his favorite place) to smooth the transition. After Starbucks we walked over to the Barbershop we were greeted by Matt and introduced my son to him, took him a minute but he waved Hi. Matt showed him where he was going to sit. We got started my son was apprehensive at first since he’s not comfortable with strangers. Matt, was amazing he took his time and was very patient with him. Our son would move around and Matt would allow him time to calm down and proceed. There were a few times my son would move and it looked like he wasn’t having it, Matt again would give him some time. We asked if they could put a cartoon on their TV for him without hesitation EJ started looking for cartoon, our luck Toy Story 2 on of his favorite movies was on which helped. It felt like it took forever and I’m sure even longer for Matt but he was so patient and great with my son. My son has curly hair and I didn’t want to lose those curls which is why I only asked for a trim less nothing drastic, we got exactly what I asked for. It was a great experience for my son’s first hair cut. I can’t express the gratitude enough to Matt and EJ, you guys went above and beyond customer service expectations. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! to everyone.

On Your Mark Cafe – Menu with Prices – 639 Forest Ave, Staten Island

I ate in here for breakfast with the guy I am currently dating. I have had food from this place before, but never ate-in until yesterday. Like Heather (my sister-in-law) said, it is funded by “On Your Mark.” Your order is taken by and served by the consumers (People who utilize the services of OYM. I had pancakes with bacon. Matt had eggs with hash-browns, bacon and a bagel. We also had 2 bottles of water. Our breakfast bill came to $6.25. Our conversation during the meal: FYI Matt and I are both Jewish. Matt: This a really good bagel. I think it’s the best I ever had. Me: Now is it a good bagel that tastes like regular bread,? or a good bagel as in a JEWISH bagel? Matt: Jewish bagel, wanna try a piece? Me: (Makes “this is the best i’ve ever had face”) Matt: You don’t like it? Me: NOOO I love it! This IS a Jewish bagel.

Galloways Cocktail Bar Menu with Prices 1200 10th St #102, Bellingham

We walked into Galloway’s last night and I felt a bit chilly so we asked Matt if they had any hot drinks on the menu, his response was “No, we haven’t made the fall change yet, but what did you have in mind?” We told him nothing in particular but one sweet and the other not so much. He returned shortly with a two drinks that were delicious, exactly what we needed. Perfect. Later we asked Matt for dessert, we told him we would like a Nanaimo Bar and if he could bring another hot drink to compliment… Matt delivered again, he nailed it. When I asked, he told me none of our drinks will be on the fall menu. That’s the reason we love Galloway’s because the staff loves their job and are allowed to use their personal creativity to deliver and make happy loyal customers

The Hotdogologist – Menu with Prices – 114 N Ellison Dr Unit #106, San Antonio

Phenomenal!!!!! Just stopped by and I’m gonna do my best to be a regular now. First time I had the 210 dawg and it was delicious and very low priced, second time I came with my gf and I had the owner surprise me. He made me the Brooklyn and the jalapeño bomber dogs with one of em being a sausage. The flavors were out of this world and the dogs had the snap I’ve heard so much about. The man truly cares about his business and offers an amazing service. He makes u feel at home and offers great hospitality. Support this business!!! Great place, great food and amazing service!!

Vennture Brew Co – Menu with Prices – 5519 W North Ave, Milwaukee

My Girlfriend and I were in town for the weekend and were looking for some things to do in the evenings, and Vennture Brew came onto our radar. Me, a beer lover, and my lady, a coffee lover, couldn’t think of a better way to spend the tail end of our Saturday night than Vennture Brew. We walked in and the first thing I heard was the bartender, Simon, whose face I recognized from the website, singing Stevie Wonder while pouring someone their beer. We sat down and were greeted by another bartender (Matt) who was just as fun and outgoing. I sampled all available beers on tap and was INCREDIBLY happy with how they all tasted. I don’t want to sound like a salesman, but you really do have to try them all. Their sour on tap, Pie-Curious, tasted like Blueberry Lemonade and, trust me, you must have it. Every single one of their Saisons was distinct and delicious, and this is coming from a guy who doesn’t even necessarily like saisons! The V. Nice, a saison brewed with Lemon, Basil, and Peppercorns was especially delicious and unique. Their IPA on tap, Tier 5, was also out of this world. If you are a beer drinker, do what I did. Walk in and sit down, start with the Pie-Curious, and then ask the bartender to suggest what you should have next (I told them that I planned on going “around the world”, meaning I was going to eventually try every beer on tap). The order that they suggested to me was perfect in terms of how the flavors evolved from beer to beer. Both Matt and Simon were also very attentive, not only to make sure my drink was always full, but also to make conversation, despite it being a busy Saturday night. Whether they were asking about where we were from, how we liked our drinks, or what the appropriate level of lighting is when listening to Michael Jackson, both Simon and Matt were always chatting us up. My girlfriend was also very happy with the coffee. Even after having made the caramel latte, Matt told her that if she wanted it sweeter, stronger, or milkier, he would make spot adjustments to make sure she enjoyed it to the fullest. All in all, come for the incredible beer and/or coffee, stay for Simon and Matt (I’m sure the other bartenders are just as fun, but I’m speaking from experience), and then come back for both! IMHO 10/10, XOXO.

The Empire Concert Club & Bar LLC Menu with Prices 1305 E Tallmadge Ave, Akron

One of, if not, the best spot to play or see a show in Akron! Can’t believe it took me this long to write a review. All of us here at Edicine love playing here! Namsan Korean Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 1844 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo

The BEST Korean Restaurant in Kalamazoo happens to be hidden gem! The Good: 1. The food is 100% authentic! 2. Under new ownership and management. 3. The food: portions are huge and if you leave hungry then that’s seriously your own fault. Everything was cooked to perfection and came out hot. Our server even gave us 4 extra Gyoza! YUM! 4. The service was phenomenal! Our server was very attentive and patient with answering all of our questions. (We had a lot of them…lol!) She was the reason we had a one-of-a-kind experience. 5. Namsan has lots of cool artwork to admire while you eat! 6. Plenty of parking in back! 7. Located on the corner of S. Westnedge and W. Maple St. – in front of the WWMT’s studios. 8. The prices are reasonable. *Note* Don’t let the location or the outside of the building deter you from experiencing Namsan. Overall: 5 Stars for Namsan! If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind experience then give Namsan a try.

Delicious Raw Kitchen & Juice Bar (Bay Road) – Menu with Prices – 1828 Bay Rd, Miami Beach

Delicious Raw is a Naples based health food restaurant that is very similar to Pura Vida or Dr Smood or DIRT. They are trying to break into the Miami market from the West Coast of Florida, and have set up an INCREDIBLE SPACE in Sunday Harbor on the beach. The smoothies, raw juices that are made as you wait, are exceptional. I haven’t tried the healthy food options, but believe me I will! The food is as fresh as can be, and they offer all kinds of great bowls that are so trendy now. The menu items to eat all sound delicious, this is a great place to go if you’re wanting to eat healthy and enjoy a great space! The staff are very accommodating and very nice as well as patient as you look for the items you want (they all look excellent so it can be hard to decide!) This place is popular with the crowds that go to the plethora of gyms, yoga studios Pilates places and cycle studios in sunset harbor. If you need a fresh drink, bite, smoothie etc, check it out! Love it.

The Coffee Chemist – Menu with Prices – Unnamed Road, Jacksonville

While I was waiting in my car in the Mall parking lot area, I kept hearing the sound of a generator from far away. The sound was coming from a portable trailer called The Coffee Chemist. The sound of course drew me to the trailer like a Zombie from The Walking Dead.   I met Jordan, the owner… “THE” Coffee Chemist herself. She was very nice and friendly. She offers all coffee varieties: Lattes, Expressos, Cold Brews, Cappuccinos, etc.  So many choices but I eventually opted to order The Nutty Professor, which is a Nutella based Iced Coffee. It was pretty good.   Furthermore, you can find & follow The Coffee Chemist on Facebook and Instagram.   #SupportLocal

J J Fish & Chicken – Menu with Prices – 217 7th St, Rockford

I was somewhat skeptical when I read on the menu that the fish was farm raised, and info was not given on the menu concerning if the chicken was free range, factory raised, farm raised, or organic. Being I’m in Rockford and not back home in Atlanta I didn’t bother asking being most restaurants I have frequented since I have been in town look at your crazy when you ask such questions. At any rate I ordered a fish combo ( 2 catfish fillets with 4 chicken wings, fries, coleslaw, and bread). my order took about 20 minutes, not bad at all, lets me know my order was cooked fresh. Everything tasted great, seasoned to perfection and fried perfectly. The portions for the fish and chicken were nice big portions. The price for the combo considering the portions was AWESOME. I only have one complaint one piece of bread is not enough for all the food they serve for the combo meal I selected. I would recommend this restaurant to others looking for good fish/chicken dinner.
