My sister and I went into The Healthy Hub this morning for the first time after we were leaving the gym. She had been referred by a coworker of hers to give it a try earlier that week. As soon as we entered the building the staff was friendly, upbeat, and extremely welcoming. The Hub has a modern aesthetic yet to my surprise it still had a comfortable and fun atmosphere. Now on an empty stomach I ordered a raspberry tea with cranberry aloe around 10:30am and didnâ??t feel hungry until 4pm later that day. My sister had the combo which consisted of a tea and shake. She text me about 20 minutes later and explained to me she had enough energy to run a few extra miles when she got home and credits the shake for that. As we left the staff welcomed us to return again and advised us that we could bring our own mug or mason jar if weâ??d like too. So thumbs up for their environmentally conscious approach. My next visit I will be dragging the Husband along to see what he thinks!

Ozarks Technical Community College – Menu with Prices – 1001 E Chestnut Expy, Springfield

I’m trying to transfer from Purdue global, an online school. I called to get information and see if somebody would have time to meet with me and find out if my credits would transfer, if so, if there was a business program comparable because I am searching for a brick and mortar experience to finish my degree plan. I was basically told to check the website and transfer my credits, then somebody would be in touch with me. That seems absurd. Why would I transfer my credits if I don’t know if I want to attend this school? Is there literally nobody with a moment available to speak to me and see if the experience offered at this school is one I would desire? I’ve heard great things about the instructors and staff so I am more than mildly disappointed. I’m really hoping somebody reaches back out to me because I am absolutely not going to blindly transfer my credits and hope for the best.

Twistee Treat Ocala – Menu with Prices – 2394 SW College Rd, Ocala

First time here. Will not be back. Drive thru woman was rude to me when I asked her to give me a sec to decide. She stated “Oh well thats fine but you didn’t answer me when I greeted you.” Which is untrue because I did respond. I ordered a large Oreo shake. Then at the window she took my debit card, returned it to me, handed me a very runny watery shake, and closed the window. I had to sit there and wait for her to reopen the window after 2 minutes so I could ask for a receipt. She then rolled her eyes and proceeded to take another 2 minutes to print one for me. By that time I didn’t even have the energy to ask if the shake was supposed to be that runny or if whipped cream is by request only. I just drove off. She was short, middle aged with salt & pepper hair. Name on the receipt says Barbara.

Buffalo Wild Wings – Menu with Prices – 431 Gander Dr, Charlottesville

Here goes another bad review: All we wanted was 2 burgers so 1st time we ordered to go we ordered 2 All American burgers ONE with sautéed onions and the SECOND with regular raw onions. We got our food and we’re wondering why we had so many bags…. came home and realized we had an extra salad prior to the one we ordered and we got a medium boneless wing order never ordered the boneless right. Okay so we get home just to realize that both burgers have sautéed onions and one of the burgers looked like it was just thrown in the box not even put together . Fine they gave us 2 food credits to get 2 more burgers another day. Finally today we called back to get our burgers ( asked for them the same way we did the first) just to come home and find BOTH burgers WITHOUT ANY onions and one burger was raw as you can see for yourself meanwhile “they cook them all well done” bullshit. Like how hard can it be ???? Somebody clearly can’t cook back there they need major help. Oh and guess what we got 2 more food credits for the second time I would appreciate them being right the first time cause after two times of the burgers being wrong we really don’t even want them anymore . Check ya burgers before going home

Carl’s Frozen Custard – Menu with Prices – 2200 Princess Anne St, Fredericksburg

So let’s get the obvious out of the way: this place is still standing for a reason; because they sell good custard. I like the simplicity of the menu, the staff was friendly and the vibe was very retro. It is a fantastic place to go in the evening on summer days like today as a nice little hangout spot. My only real gripes from this one experience was the fact that it’s cash only but they seem to do so much business (perhaps because they want to keep up the old-time feel) and the pineapple shake was slightly frost bitten. I have no idea why that was because i got the vanilla shake and the strawberry custard, both of which were phenomenally smooth. My sister and I think the reason the pineapple shake came out the way it did was because they use whole pineapple chunks in what i believe is just a standard vanilla shake and that might have caused some sort of reaction. But the bottom line is: great place to stop by, especially during the summer time to enjoy some frozen custard and history!

Shake Shack – Menu with Prices – Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, 5300 Riverside Dr, Cleveland

We were flying out of Cleveland back to Chicago and then finally home in California. On the way to the gate, on Concourse B, we spotted a Shake Shack. Apparently, it is newly opened since early March of this year. It’s not a full-service location because the menu does not offer if the entire line of a typical Shake Shack location. Think of it as a Shake Shack Express location. We’ve had Burgers from Shake Shack before during one of our previous visits to Chicago. We like them so we decided that we would grab one before our flight. Wife and I both got the same thing – the single pattie, standard cheeseburger. It was very good. It separates itself from all the other fast food places because the pattie is hand formed, not a machine produced round piece of ground beef. What we like is the extra flavor and texture that results from really good really until a little bit of a crust forms on both sides. It was every bit as good as the other Shake Shack Burgers we’ve had before.

CLT Nutrition – Menu with Prices – 3917 South Blvd, Charlotte

I decided to try this place because the Instagram photos make all their shakes look super delicious. I’m going to start with a disclaimer: I do not drink protein shakes regularly. So I went with the intentions to see if I would be into this or not. You walk in and you fill out a paper with what drink you want, what booster you want in your tea, and the flavor of your tea. All shakes come with a tea. The idea is, your shake is the “meal” and the tea is the drink you’d get with it. I agree with another review that it is difficult to get through both before one of them melting or the ice melting. I got the Carmel cappuccino and it was pretty tasty. The first third of it was good and then the protein flavor started to roll in. If you are expecting a milkshake then you will be disappointed. The shake is good, but again, it’s a protein shake so be prepared for that. The tea was great! I would go in there for the tea more than the shake! I got peach with cranberry aloe. I went on a lunch break one day to try it out. Honestly it didn’t satisfy me as a replacement, but again, this is coming from someone who didn’t work out before I went and don’t normally drink protein shakes. If I worked out and then got one I bet it would be great and satisfying! For the price, I probably won’t go back since now I realize protein shakes aren’t my jam. It was ~$11 (I can’t remember if I got an extra booster in my tea or not). But the shake is $9 for a small and adding extra boosters can cost you more, so you could potentially pay $12+ for a shake and tea if you get fancy with it. I still think they deserve to be checked out if you like protein shakes or want to do what I did and see if you like them because the employees were friendly and the quality of the protein shake was good.

Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center – Menu with Prices – 3931 Brooklyn Ave NE, Seattle

Staff is awesome and welcoming! The rooms represent the trailblazers before us and I just love it. There’s always an energy to it and you get to meet amazing people all the while trying out new foods and learning about different cultures. I feel safe and welcomed here. ??

Tacos La Jaiva – Menu with Prices – 1724 N Tustin St, Orange

I notice on Friday morning a flyer was on my truck. I told myself, “Wow!,No respect for other people’s property. As I approached my truck I notice it had rain, as I removed the flyer I notice remains of the flyer where stuck to my window. Now this is a classic truck with original window. I decided to call the 1st # on the flyer DISCONNECTED, the 2nd number didn’t answer twice so I sent a text, I got a reply back by text apologizing and that I will here from someone. The day went by and no call so I called and spoke to someone, I explained my situation over the phone which she was aware of , she again apologized and said she would have the owner contact me. The 2nd day she send a text requesting my address and they where waiting on the liquid to remove the adhesive off my window. Well they never showed up! The 3rd day comes around and I text them to find out what’s going on and I got text back that they will clean it in the evening. The 4th day: The lack of integrity shows the results by the day going by an again nothing happens. So I’ve had it and here I’am on Yelp. Do not stop by to clean my truck! Stay away from it and other people’s property. DO NOT PUT FLYERS (Not Permitted by the city) on other people’s vehicles. Have a nice day!

Golf & Social – Menu with Prices – 1080 N Delaware Ave, Philadelphia

I came here for a brunch for my sister’s graduation in October 2019. It seemed like I was immediately bombarded at the entrance of Golf & Social which was a little worrisome as it was raining outside and I was trying to gather myself. They did not inform my sister at her time of booking that there would be a cover charge of $10 so I was not prepared for that. Thankfully, my sister was and was able to lend me cash. While trying to get her attention for the cash, the bouncer repeated himself over and over “$10 cover” until I finally asked him to hold on a second so I could have my sister hand over the money. We stood around quite a bit when I finally came in but I think that was because we didn’t have a confirmed group size just yet so not their fault. When we did sit, the waitress immediately gave us menus and about 10 minutes later she began taking drink orders. The “bottomless” mimosas were $25 pp, this is not including any food or extras. They did have a nice line up for mimosa flavors such as orange, cranberry, pineapple, etc. then we ordered our food and they handed us a stack of Uno cards to play which was a nice touch. Our food came out maybe 45 minutes later. I ordered the omelette and home fries (posted TOGETHER on the menu) and the omelette turned out to be pretty good. It was literally the size of my head or bigger so it served as my breakfast the next day. Before our 2 hrs were up, we were informed that they ran out of champagne and our endless mimosas were over. A while after we began paying for the meal. This is when I come to realize they’d charged me an extra FOUR dollars for home fries on top of the 11 I paid for the omelette. That was definitely a bit annoying to me but I went with it to not cause anything. There was hookah available if that’s your thing. My sister had a good time. Our waitress was amazing. The music was realllly good. I would go back, I’m just going to make sure I eat beforehand lol.

Healthy Shake Shop – Menu with Prices – 7202 E 1st Ave, Scottsdale

I stopped in for something cold because it was sunny and 105° – I needed a break from the heat! The sign outside caught my attention – vitamins, proteins, minerals, etc. There was no line when I went in so the shake was made pretty quickly. I ordered the “chocolate peanut butter banana” shake. They told me it was the most popular shake and is chosen 5:1 compared to the other options. The shake is ice and water base (so no dairy, yay) – then they add chocolate protein powder and peanut butter (in powdered form) and banana. I’ll say I was surprised that most of the flavors didn’t come through. It mainly tasted like a chocolate protein powder shake- it was still good, just not what I expected. It was light. I’m not sure why the rating is so low on this place. It’s just a normal shake, nothing special.

D’Amato’s Seafood II – Menu with Prices – 423 Whalley Ave #1, New Haven

I finally made it to D’Amatos Seafood. My sister and I went to visit our God daughter Zenae at Southern Univ and D’Amatos was literally 10 minutes away. When we arrived there was a line outside the door and you could smell the fresh seafood. My mouth was watering. When we were next to order, I made sure to look at the menu and they had ma ny different ways to order for 1 person up to 3 or more ppl. My sister Antoinette never wants to share and trust me when I say you will not be able to eat all the food they give you. I ordered combo # 3 which is the fried fillet with sea scallops, jumbo shrimp and hush puppies with onion rings. We decided to dine in which is connected to where you put in your order. We have the option of choosing another type of fish. I preferred the fried whiting fried soft along with the rest of my food. My sister ordered the combo #3 with fried whitting not fillet like mines and she ordered a.side of their clam strips. Zenae oredered the fried fish sandwich. Let me say that everything was fried perfect crispy and the fish was fresh. It was so much food I was like done looking at it all. The yush puppies were banging but the onion rings were least favorite and I love onion rings. I will do the fries next they were banging. I had so much food to carry home but for me & my sis the food is only good when your eating it there. Oh I almost forgot to inform you that they also have outside area as well for dinning. I will Absolutely return to D’Amatos but I will make sure I have a companion to share with me. The food is awesome. When your in the New Haven area please stop into D’Amatos for fresh , hot and delicious seafood. To all of my yelpers until my next foodie adventure. Please #EAT#LOVEOFFOOD!! #FOODIE4LIFE.

Nutrition 360 – Menu with Prices – 1705 Standiford Ave, Modesto

Came here bc I wasn’t really hungry during lunch, also feeling a little bloated so I didn’t want to eat just to eat! Thought a meal replacement shake would do the job! Came in and was greeted by Lili who helped me choose a shake I might like. She was super informative and helpful! I didn’t buy the aloe or tea, but she did give me a sample of the tea which I did not care for. The shake did its job but I wasn’t like “OMG, this stuff’s amazingly delicious”. It’s a meal replacement shake so I guess maybe it’s not supposed to be that tasty? I did like it, but not the $6 price! I wouldn’t mind paying $4, maybe even $5! I might be back though!
