I love their baked potatoes well at least at the other locations. I went by this location this evening and got a baked potato it was tiny first of all compared to the other locations. Second it was hard like it had been cooking all day the potato part close to the skin was brown and hard. Potatoes are supposed to be soft and fluffy. So I called once I got home explained my issue and said my husband would come by and get a replacement. Once he got there they were extremely rude and made him feel like he was trying to steal a baked potato. They did not realize my husband spoke Spanish. They were speaking to each other (workers) in Spanish talking crap and being rude till him answered them back in Spanish they about freaked out. They finally replaced the potato with about the same quality horrible horrible I will never ever go back to this location.

La Michoacana Premium – Menu with Prices – 1327 E 4th St, Ontario

The product is good, but your workers are very rude. My boyfriend and I came in about 2 days ago. He’s been there many times, it was my first time. We came in and there was no line, we got walked by several times and ignored and then a rush of people came in and they continued to keep passing us. Finally because we were glaring at them for so long, one girl told us in Spanish that she couldn’t help us because she only spoke Spanish and another girl would come and help us…..my boyfriend is full blooded mexican and Spanish is his first language. He told her I do speak Spanish and she just ignored us until the next lady came. We got passed up by 3 different guests with 3 workers at the counter….I don’t know about you, but that’s pretty racist if you ask me. Don’t assume someone doesn’t speak the language just because they look like a guero.

Taqueria el Torito – Menu with Prices – 2515 Freeman Mill Rd suite b, Greensboro

If this was asked of me before i stopped comming here they may have gotten 5 stars. I will no longer come in this place. Me and my family used to go here january to May we ate 3 times a day (everyother day) $35+ a visit. I thinks its the owners daughter or sister they look just alike.. I tell them everytime i go in there she doesnt listen shes too busy speaking spanish talking junk she isnt listening. I get the same thing all the time im in there all the time well i used to be and she still say she doesnt remeber and if she does she messes the order up anyways like my smoothie. Its not that hard to be quiet stop talking junk and make the food. But shes rude. I told her the last time i was in there my family will never be there again if shes still there. I havent went back since and this was almost 2 month ago. Ik our business was just somemore money but ive told everyone ik because that girl is just so rude. Hire people who understand both languages and if they speak spanish make sure there not talking about customers while the customer is inside the store. They’ve lost my business completly.

La Dolce Vita Biscotti Inc – Menu with Prices – 10875 W Northview Ave, Glendale

I worked there one week thank god the ampm up the road was hiring because its slave labor for slave wages the biscotti is good though and decent work conditions just 16 hours on your feet each day and hardly anyone spoke English not that i have anything against speaking spanish but it was hard to communicate with other people which made my job a little more difficult because the person who trained me barely spoke English

Quickly Boba LA – Menu with Prices – 2717 W Olympic Blvd #106, Los Angeles

I stop going to a cafe that has no manners for elder people. The workers, particularly a worker is rude to elders, especially to those with language barriers. I’ve sat there for hours and with the workers’ changed shift. I hear a worker giving attitude to an old lady. I work as a barista as well, but I never gave bad attitudes to customers. yes, we work in Korea Town with language barriers but speaking to elderly customers with bad manner is not right. If a manager or the owner of this store read this, please talk to your workers about this matter.

Taqueria Maravatio – Menu with Prices – 2618 W 59th St, Chicago

i honestly used to come here all the time their food is delicious but i must say, lately the service has been horrible. the girls there waitress and cashier have horrible attitudes. i understand we are human and sometimes we all have those bad days. but if youre going to work in a field in which you need to be a people person and have good customer service skills, you need to be able to put on a happy face when greeting a customer and serving them appropriately. not once did these girls come to our table to see if we needed anything. not once did they ask how our service was or our food. we had to get up 3 times walk to them to get something we needed utensils, a cup and our to go container. it also seemed as if they were rushing us out. when i got up to get a cup she handed me my receipt and total.. uummmm we werent done eating and she wanted me to pay already. they were speaking pretty loud to each other it was obvious they were speaking about us because they were cursing! so unprofessional. i honestly felt horrible because i took a friend with me and on the way i was telling her it was one of my favorite spots. we will not be returning. due to their unprofessional services and how disrespectful they were to us! i hope this review helps them realize they need to be equal to everyone when servicing them. polite and professional. instead of stocking the soda and cleaning out the coffee machine take a few minutes to walk to yiur customers table and ask how their food is. is there anything they need. and if there is something you didnt like about your customers save it until they are out the door. it makes you and the business look horrible.

Cuban Island Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 5508 Williamson Rd, Roanoke

Thank you yelp for always helping me find the best places to eat when I am out of town! I sent my husband to order food so I could stay in the car with our dog. I got the Cuban sandwich, and my husband got the fried pork with rice and beans and plantains. He also got us a chocolate flan cake and the pineapple flan cake. This place was packed with locals, talking about how great the food was! My husband even got to use his Spanish to order food! The real Cuban bread really made my sandwich special, even though I won’t say it’s the best Cuban I’ve ever had. It was solid, and it was huge, it was easily as big as my forearm. My husband’s pork and rice and beans were delicious, we are trying to figure out how they cooked the rice, I had a reddish tint to it. Flan cakes were out of this world! They’ve recently moved locations, same street just a couple miles down the road. Look for the yellow building!

Captain JJ Fish & Chicken – Menu with Prices – 2974 Covington Pike, Memphis

Me and my girlfriend will never patronize this location again. The drive thru worker was rude our order was wrong. The drive thru worker didn’t know what he was doing. We use to to come here. As this location is near our house. We will be going to Tims Chicken a few blocks down instead. They have lost a faithful customer. We will just go to the Summer location instead. When it comes to Captain JJ’s as a whole & other restaurants with multiple locations around the city. I do not let this One Bad Apple destroy the other locations who have their stores clean & organized. Goodbye Captain JJ’s Covington Pike. See ya on Sunmer.

Eriberto’s Mexican Food – Menu with Prices – 741 E Bell Rd, Phoenix

My fiance and I, we went here one evening, we had to call and make a second trip! My fiance was not feeling well, to make matters more of a frustration! The people on the phone they were speaking English with us, but as soon as they knew they messed up our order, it was all Spanish speaking from there! Funny thing is, my fiance knew what these unprofessional bullies were saying! We get there to replace our soggy cold order, which, we don’t typically complain bc we are easy going folks, the girl at the window, she was completely rude and argumentative! She was super lippy and super unprofessional and wasn’t wearing gloves when handling food, and was handling money! Furthermore, um, how clean are gloveless false nails with who knows what she was handling just moments before? Moreover, my fiance heard one of the employees, threaten to spit in our food! We will never go back to this hole in a wall! We will be taking everyone we know with us, whom have all spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars there! The nice employees can thank their mean co workers for their improper conduct! They should be shut down for threatening to spit in people’s food! You just lost some very loyal and good customers! Many not just 2! Never again!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 3991 Pickett Road, Fairfax

Not loving this location and unfortunately it is the location closest to my house should I desire a late night, or weekend smoothie. Some employees have been friendly, others less so. My biggest complaint is that it is the polar opposite of the Dunn Loring location which is right by my work and is absolutely outstanding (always a perk when employees know your order before you even say a word.) But at this specific location my daughter and I have visited at least 20+ times and the employees quite simply do not care. From the time I got a second smoothie free of charge due to them making double, however the employee very loudly remarking “well that’s what I get for talking crap about a customer.” To last Wednesday, when the only customization I made to my chicken quesadilla was no salsa so it didn’t spill in my car, and when he was ringing me up he said “so you said no chicken on the quesadilla?” And I corrected “no salsa please” only to get out to my car take a bite and realize I had nothing but a plain cheese quesadilla and both kinds of salsa. The final straw that led to this review, was that I hail from the west coast, we do not have a sonic in NoVa where I can go buy my beloved bags of nugget ice. So the next best thing I’ve found is tropical smoothie uses the same type of ice, and if I have them put it in one of their plastic bags it survives the trip home where I can then move it to a proper ice bag. Well I’ve always topped the employees when they have grabbed my two bags of ice as I know it is an unusual and time consuming request. However the manager of the location informed me the other day that it was coming from “corporate” that they would need to charge me for the ice, as it’s using supplies. I did not realize that a plastic bag and frozen water were such a drain when I’m at one or both of the tropical smoothie locations just about every day, spending at least $20… Where this became an even bigger issue was that it was the employees at the Dunn Loring location that let me know the bags cost 5c approx a piece and they had no such order from corporate saying they needed to charge for extra bags. So the manager of the Fairfax location felt the need to specifically chide a customer spending at least $20 on a daily basis, over a 5c bag and maybe a penny used in water to freeze into the ice, and I’m tipping the employees to grab it to begin with. After writing this long review the only thing I can say for this location is their smoothies are generally consistent and at the end of the day that’s generally what my daughter and I are there for, just would be nice if there were employees who even slightly cared.

Delvin’s Restaurant & Catering, LLC Menu with Prices 1300 N Hughes St, Amarillo

Hearing raven reviews about this place I decided I would give it a try for myself. I ordered the Fried Catfish & Shrimp special with a loaded potatoes and a side of macaroni. My husband ordered a stuffed potatoe with sausage. When the food was brought all looked appetizing except 1 piece of fish, which looked like it had been a left over and lukewarm compared to the other piece which was crispy, hot, and fresh out the grease. The potatoes which I thought were twice baked had this out gu of the box flavor with 3 strings of cheese I know this because they were not completely melted. The macaroni was horrible it had a weird flavor that I can not put into words. My husband’s potatoe looked really good, but the potatoe at best was lukewarm because it wouldn’t even melt the butter nor the cheese. Not sure if the cooks were having a bad day or if we had leftovers from the lunch rush, either way the food was not worth the $26.00 I spent.

Viva Villa Taqueria And Market – Menu with Prices – 821 E Commonwealth Ave, Fullerton

I’ve been a customer of Villa Villa for over 10 years at the Fontana and San Bernardino locations. Those locations are 5-stars for food quality and customer service; however this new Fullerton location is a 1-star on those same ratings areas. I was very excited to hear of this new location in Fullerton but unfortunately this new location lacks what makes the other Viva Villa locations amazing. This location has poor customer service and poor food quality. I realize it may take time for new locations to improve but it’s been over 6 months now and I don’t see any improvements in customer service or food quality. Customer service: (or lack thereof) The young female cashier is very rude and lacks any basic customer service. When you order, it takes literally 20+ minutes to get one burrito or two small orders–and that’s being the ONLY customer there. The workers work very slow like there’s no point to rush since there’s no other customers but the fact is more customers would come if they made the orders faster. No one wants to wait 20+ minutes for a burrito when you see them taking their time. Then, they often get your order wrong. I decided to finally give a 1-star rating because recently they got my order wrong 3 times in two days. They forgot my side order of rice and beans–twice–and then forgot to give me my 3 drinks which is $10 total–I didn’t discover two of the wrong orders until I returned home which was frustrating because I live 12 minutes away. That’s 24 minutes round trip to get a order fixed plus gas and more importantly time in life you can never get back. Now do that 2 times in 3 days. Annoying! Then when I brought my concerns up with the female manager she lacks any good managerial skills to resolve the issue. She refused to come out of her office to hear my complaint. They also close earlier than the stated time and send customers away before closing which the manager is okay with—I doubt the owner would be okay with losing money and customers like that. This location needs more supervision from management like the other more established sites. I would hate to see this location close due to poor management of staff but no one will come how it is operating now. I no longer plan to go there anymore and that says a lot because Viva Villa is my favorite Mexican food ever and I have brought several customers that are friends, family, or coworkers. The food quality is not up to par at the Fullerton location like the other locations either. The meat is often dry and over cooked and burnt versus the traditional marinated meat you taste at the other locations. Also, their portion control is off–bigger is not always better–Fullerton is the only Viva Viva location where they make the burritos too big with fillers like beans and rice which cause the burrito to break into pieces after the first bite. This never happens at the other locations either. Every burrito made here is too big to support the tortilla unlike all the other locations so you end up having to scoop all your burrito with a spoon because it breaks after a bite or too. Disappointing since Viva Villa is known for its amazing homemade tortillas! When I ask for easy beans or rice they still add too much and it breaks again first bite. Frustrating. Try the Fontana and San Bernardino locations–those locations are managed tremendously better which is the reason those locations have several customers and this Fullerton location is always empty. It pains me to write his bad review knowing the owner and his son Francisco but hopefully they see these reviews and help this location get better like the Fontana and San Bernardino locations.
