This place is pretty cool, has good coffee and a super friendly staff. The coffee is megaphone, Spoken Moto also uses megaphone, but they have completely different atmospheres, I find companion coffee has a better atmosphere to work. Food and Drink – coffee is good they have pretty bold flavors. They also have some teas and mostly standard food options, bagels, sandwiches, scones that kinda thing. My Positives – I enjoy having business meetings here bc it’s sorta quite and the tables are a good size for conversation! Negatives – the downside of this place over some of the other coffee joints in town is the seating, they have some good seats but it’ll fill up quickly during busy times, also a lot of the seating is “exposed” and a lot of ppl don’t like working on laptops if it’s easy to ease drop.

Guillermo’s Gourmet Coffee – Menu with Prices – 10700 N Rodney Parham Rd A2, Little Rock

I had two meetings in Guillermoâ??s this morning and was surprised by the relaxed yet professional feel of the place. The baristas are very kind and knowledgeable. There are plenty of seating options, great art and an overall pleasing aesthetic. Guillermoâ??s Gourmet Coffee is also a big supporter of local businesses there is a table stylishly set up with an old typewriter that is covered with stacks of business cards from a wide variety of industries. The coffee is decently priced and the coffee of the day comes with a refill, which is great for a long stay or several meetings. There is a conference room that can be rented for $10 for 2 hours, which is the best pricing I have seen yet. The decor is a mix of rustic, mid century and modern. Guillermoâ??s has free WiFi and the password is posted in several places on the walls and screens. If you are looking for a coffee shop with universal appeal and a place to quietly work while sipping a great cup of coffee, Guillermoâ??s is the place to be. Business or pleasure, there is a place for everyone. I do not recommend bringing young children as there is not much to keep them entertained. Guillermoâ??s does support City Year in the belief that education has the power to help every child reach their potential. Come in and bring your business cards to drop off at the networking table and one to drop in the drawing for a City Year giveaway. I will return to Guillermoâ??s for future meetings and maybe to just get a great cup of coffee or tea.

Megaphone Coffee Co. Menu with Prices 1009 NW Galveston Ave, Bend

My wife and I were excited to try this place. Upon arrival the shop was clean and trendy. The guy working the counter was nice. Pricing was a bit more expensive than I was expecting. At that pricing, I could go to Thump or Lone Pine and guarantee to get a great cup of coffee. Which brings me to the coffee. My latte was alright. I’m fairly sure they use 1% Milk, as my latte was not as think and creamy as I expected. Perhaps everybody uses 1%, in which case, this latte was more watery for another reason. My wife ordered a coconut milk latte. This was “drinkable” in her words, and that’s not the good drinkable usage. We won’t be going back, if you want to drink Megaphone Coffee, go to Companion, they also use Megaphone roasted beans with a much better palate and atmosphere.

Modern Coffee – Menu with Prices – 191 Inkster Blvd, Winnipeg

Finally, a real coffee shop in the north end of town! You’ll find all the typical wonderful specialty coffees as all the other hipster joints, plus delicious snacks, treats and even lunches! Sandwiches and other small menu items are also available. Great if you live in the area and are on foot. There is no parking on the street but we’ve gotten away with parking at the grocery lot directly across the street. The one downside here is that this tiny little shop (yes, tiny as in not very much seating so be prepared to grab your jo to go!) is that it is NOT accessible. There is a little step into the shop and steps to get up to the counter. So that’s definitely challenging if you have any mobility issues at all (even being on crutches is a major issue). Good to know: bring in your own To Go cup and get 10 cents off your coffee!

Pease’s at Bunn Gourmet – Menu with Prices – 2941 Plaza Dr, Springfield

My job includes responsibilities for arranging numerous meetings, both on and off-site. I’ve had a few smaller meetings at Bunn Gourmet, in addition to numerous other restaurants and coffee shops throughout Springfield. Bunn Gourmet is my favorite place to have these types of meetings when an out of office location is desired. It is casual but upscale, has a wide range of affordable options to fill the needs of everyone in the group, whether that is simply a cup of their delicious coffee, a slice of the best cake in town, or something more substantial, like lunch. Great food options aside, perhaps the most important aspect is that the acoustics are good in the seating areas. With a lot of casual restaurants and coffee shops, it is very hard to hear if there are more than a few other people in the place. But that doesn’t seem to be the case at Bunn Gourmet. I was there last week for a meeting with approximately 7 other individuals. There was a pretty good crowd in the place. We were spread around three tables that had been pushed together to accommodate the group. Everyone in the group could hear and participate in the conversations taking place throughout the course of the meeting. Another important aspect when arranging a meeting location is the wifi, seating and table situations. My group was at Bunn for about an hour, which could be a long time for some to sit if the seating is hard or uncomfortable. However, the seating at Bunn is comfortable enough to allow one to sit for that period of time or longer without having to shift around or stand up. Additionally, the wifi works Every. Single. Time. without fail and it is fast. Simply said, Pease’s at Bunn Gourmet checks off all of the boxes that I have when trying to come up with a location for a small meeting that needs to take place outside of my office. We are lucky to have it as an option here in Springfield.

Up in Smoke Cigars – Menu with Prices – 109 Hatcher Ln, Clarksville

Great selection of cigar. Nicely decorated lounge with plenty of seating to relax or for meetings. Meeting rooms available. Several televisions on sports but not too loud where you can’t hold a conversation in low tone. Knowledgable staff available to answer any questions about products or recommend product. Never felt pressured to buy. Plenty of parking. Nice covered outside seating area in back of lounge. There are several events held during the week. Dominoes, beer tastings, sporting event watch parties. Laid back environment You can also buy cigar and accesories to go, you don’t have to smoke there. They sell beer on tap, sodas, and usually have coffee available (free). Best lounge in town. Definitely will return.

Global Coffee – Menu with Prices – 1513 N Zaragoza Rd, El Paso

This might be the best espresso joint in town. Overall better than Hillside Coffee and Donut in the Westside. I wish this place was in Jacksonville FL because it beats most of the coffee joints there. PROS) Get the ‘Global Coffee’ drink. It is fabulous. Cool bourgeoise atmosphere Nice cups and jars when drinking inside Service Very clean inside CONS) Patio outside is useless when sun is directly on you…y’all need to buy umbrellas…this is the Sun City after all Not much seating so could easily fill up if a crowd comes

Four Score Coffee – Menu with Prices – 327 Lincoln St, Roseville

I first heard of FourScore from a friend not too long ago and ever since then I wanted to try them out. As a first experience I would say that I enjoyed it very much. What I appreciate most is the ambiance. Plenty of seating, super relaxed and most important music is at the right volume so that you can actually have a conversation. The coffee tastes great, they have a specific taste to their espresso based beverages, all in a good way. They also have a really good selection of coffee related merchandise. I finally got to get my hands on the Barista Hustle tamper, this is the first coffee shop that I have seen it in so far. As a coffee geek, this really made my day. There is one thing I could point out as a potential improvement. I really appreciate industrial design in general, but never at the price of comfort. Our table (the one with the car rim as a base across the bar) was wiggling from all joints and in two separate occasions we almost spilled our drinks because of this. Having said all this, when I am in the area I would definitely stop by for a drink. Thank you for the great experience!

Casa Blanca Coffee Roasters – Menu with Prices – 7409 Market St, Wilmington

Just what Wilmington needed: A spacious, clean, modern cafe / event space with house roasted coffee, indoor and outdoor seating, strong wifi, outlets, and a nice size parking lot. Casa Blanca is one of my favorite spots in town. It’s great for meetings because there’s enough space to fit a group setting, and a private communal table in the back. There’s independent seating at the espresso bar and cozy lounge spots near the fireplace. The back patio is great for local markets and enjoying coffee under the sun on a nice day with a friend. The cafe offers standard espresso drinks, a few tea varieties and a handful of artisan breakfast options, such as avocado toast, banana toast, waffle with berries, potato hash and more. They also carry cinnamon rolls and other pastries from a local bakery called Spoonfed. They have a drink case at the front with sparkling and non-caffeinated refreshment options for purchase. I like to come to Casa for meetings, plugging in for a few hours of work, a Saturday morning coffee date with a friend, and market events. I order a double shot over ice every time, though I’ve tasted the vanilla latte with oat milk and it is definitely worth writing home about. The staff are very sweet. Their merch is beautiful, and they sell to go bags of coffee beans if you’re interested in brewing at home. I definitely recommend visiting Casa Blanca, tourist or local, coffee fan or not.

Wells Coffee Company – Menu with Prices – 737 NE 2nd Ave, Fort Lauderdale

I wish I were just reviewing the coffee, because this place would get 5 stars! Like every other reviewer on here, I got the horchata cold brew. It was as good as everyone says! Not the strongest cup of joe I’ve ever had, but tasty nonetheless. The not-so-satisfactory part for me was simply the layout of this place. It is a huge, open room with barely-ample seating for a dozen people. They could easily fit another dozen seats in the place without compromising the open feel. More if they really wanted to cram people in. I’m glad they weren’t cramming, but they still could use more seating. The next problem was that in the entire place, there are only two seats located near an outlet. So if you’re coming here to work on any device that might need charging, you better arrive at opening to get one of those two seats, because people will fight for them! I unfortunately did not get one of those seats and was therefore unable to work on my broken laptop. It just seemed weird to me that for a coffee shop kind of designed for people to hang out for a few hours, it wasn’t designed to support its customers. Lastly, parking is a joke. I parked a few blocks away and walked, which wasn’t an issue for me but might be for others. Overall, I would come back for the coffee, but would maybe choose another place if I wanted to spread out and stay a while.

Andie’s Coffee – Menu with Prices – 6451 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale

My mom has put her heart and soul into this amazing coffee shop. I know I’m her daughter so I’m pretty fond of her anyway. BUT rightfully so, because she has created not only a kind and loving environment for children and families, but a quiet study area for others as well. And the kicker is, she serves up GREAT products. From protein shakes to coffee to tea and now food. This beautifully located, coffee place is just the place for meetings! I actually bring most of my meetings here to make sure they drink local too! Thank you mom for being you and creating such an amazing environment for people to be. I hope to be half the business owner and woman you are some day. Cheers to this place! Ps – Melissa the barista is awesome!!! Go in and say hello to her!

Concord Coffee – Menu with Prices – 1037 Florida Ave S #135, Lakeland

Concord Coffee is hard to define: it’s upscale, it’s down-home, it’s fancy and it’s comfortable. Basically it’s everything you want in a local coffee house. When I was there, there was a small business meeting of 3, a man working, a student studying, a few young ladies chatting, and a dad with a couple of kids. All ranges of customers. Everyone kept telling me I had to come here and it was a little hard to find, since it’s “hidden” inside a small shopping mall called Dixieland Village. Your GPS will take you behind the mall, because the front borders South Florida Avenue and there is no parking. There is parking in the rear and on side streets, just be patient and take your time. Concord Coffee had plenty of seating outside, exposed on a large patio and in the covered breezeway, and in two rooms inside (one has a sliding wall for meetings, etc.). They have a large coffee menu and a small food menu. I ordered a cappuccino with a caramel shot and an avocado toast (comes with chips or fruit). The baristas were pleasant and personable and my coffee and food came out promptly. Beautifully poured and plated, definitely Instagram worthy. Of course, tastes and smells cannot be shared on the internet, so you’ll have to take my word for it. The cappuccino was outstanding. Definitely one of the best ever. Temperature was perfect, the amount of caramel I asked for was just right and did not overpower the coffee taste. The avocado toast was also on point, served on delicious bread and a generous amount. I’ve been back a few more times, just to grab coffee to go, and have received excellent customer service and outstanding coffee every time. I understand why Concord Coffee has such a high reputation, they deserve it.

Farmers Union Coffee Roasters – Menu with Prices – 152 W 5th Ave, Eugene

I was kind of excited to try the coffee after all the hype I have seen around town, and curious about what they might do with the space, as it’s always been one of my very favorite places in Eugene. We popped in today, and I know they’ve only been open about a month or so, but it seems like they’re really still in need of working out the kinks. The coffee is fine, but not exactly mind blowing like everything I’ve seen posted online. The prices aren’t ridiculous, but definitely not the best in town considering the product, and the drink menu is extremely limited. As far as the food selections go, I would advise planning on planning for eating elsewhere. There are several different toast toppings, and a few homebaked cookie/sweet options, which outside of a couple cute mini cupcakes from another business in town, looked like they could use a little practice in perfecting their baking techniques. The quiche looked especially iffy, and on my visit it was the only savory option. It was just two men behind the counter, and it felt really stressful in there, specifically paired with the communal seating and sparse decor. I’ll be back, because the location is full of potential, and has been one of the best places to grab a cup forever, but I’m going to give these guys a little more time to settle in before I drop another sawbuck on drip coffee and toast.
