That girl was quick and efficient!!! Her name was Sara, beautiful, dark hair. Soulful, dark eyes. Nothing short of perfect, then we talked about Halo and the problem of gaming online, She actually agreed with me. I am pretty sure she was just being Customer Service Nice, but I am ready to throw Every penny in a wishing well just to have her say “I think you are cute too.” as I said she was awesome and really cute. I think she was just doing her job, Not Flirting. Oh Well, it’s cool. Sara, know this, I adore you and if you feel the same way and know who this is, I had a little dog with me, Let me know when I see you at either the southtrails locale or if I see you at pinebrook again. Even if I have the dog with me, and you are interested in me, ASK Me how the dog is doing and has he been a good dog or bad dog. I will ask you out on the spot. Like I said though, If not interested, it’s cool…. all good. I understand. Enjoy Your Everyday!!

Luxe Clinical Aesthetics – Menu with Prices – 1153 Lincoln Ave, San Jose

Had my upper lip filled for the first time with Sara last Tuesday & the experience was great! Sara was really informative & nice! I still have another week of the swelling to go down but I’m looking forward to get them topped off next week! The office is cute & the other ladies there were super nice as well! The only thing I’ll probably ask to do next time is numb my lips a bit longer. Sara did inform me that the lips do hurt but at the end & after talking to a few friends that get their lips done, I feel I could have had the numbing cream on a bit longer. Next time I’ll ask to be number for like 15-20 min instead of 5-10min. At the end of the day I was really happy with my results/experience & would def recommend this place! I’ll also post before & afters pictures once my swelling goes down from my 2nd round. Update! 4/9/19 So I went back to Sara for my touch up after 2 weeks & I’m very happy with my results but I will go back one more time in the next few weeks to try another half of syringe or less to get it were I really want it. Sara is amazing & she numbed me for about 20 min before we started. I’ll post pictures once its all healed.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams – Menu with Prices – 1892 Eastland Ave, Nashville

Man, this place is just the best! My daughter is addicted and my wife and I try to show a little bit of restraint! The ice cream is obviously some of the best there is, but the customer service at this location is incredible. Tyler and Sara are the best people! The other day, I didn’t understand what kind of cone my daughter wanted and of course it was the wrong one I ordered. She got kind of upset as 6 year olds do and Tyler came over and asked what was wrong and then made her a new cone free of charge! I asked him to just put the ice cream in the right cone but he made a completely new one! Then Sara told me to just keep the wrong one and she put it in a to go box for us to take home. She even kept it in their freezer until we were ready to leave! There’s not too many other places these days with that great of service. Keep it up y’all! Thank you again Tyler and Sara!

Knee Deep Denim – Menu with Prices – 7014 E Camelback Rd, Scottsdale

Everything is adorable here, the store has the coolest vibe and every piece has a cool vintage yet on-trend feel. I wanted to pick out so many things but the handful of tops I went with have immediately become my go-to’s for summer. Definitely check them out, the girls are all awesome and super helpful. Everything is locally designed and woman-owned, so go support a local business and get some clothes you feel cute in ?

Nine Pin Cider Works Menu with Prices 929 Broadway, Albany

Support local, support cute shops, support cool hang outs! I have never been to Nine Pin, really never had the cider much either, but mentioned going while we were at Druthers down the way and we all decided to go grab a flight. They have some parking but I can imagine it being hard to find a spot on a nice weekend. The outdoor area, entrance, tap room, everything is so well decorated, cute and inviting. I just enjoyed the feeling of walking in there with the bright greens and cool artwork. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in choosing a flight. I must admit, I do not like cider. Why did I want to come? Simple – Local cidery, good reviews, must visit! To my delight, they actually offered quite a few beers for tasting as well! I went with trying 3 of their dryer ciders and one IPA they offered. The flight was $7, not a bad deal. We sipped on them for about 30 minutes for our visit. Everyone’s favorite cider was the “Dark n Stormy”. It was nice they also offer snacks, such as hand pies and cheese plates. Very cool! I would like to come back to do some more tastings and enjoy the atmosphere. If you like cider this is a must stop!

Greenmount Coffee Lab Menu with Prices 1400 Greenmount Ave, Baltimore

So this was just the cutest coffee shop that I have ever seen. So I just moved close to this location and I pass it everyday. I promised myself that I would stop pass. Today I went to a parent teacher conference and my daughter teacher told me how amazing this place was so today I figured it would be the perfect day because it was cold and rainy. My barista was so amazing. Her name was Sara. She let me try different things, she explained everything to me, She made suggestions and she was just so patient with me. I also had my kids with me and we are no experts on drinking coffee so we needed all the help we can get. Well I am so busy and had so much to do I told Sara that I needed a strong drink but to make it sweet. She did exactly that! LOL. I think I had two or more shots of expresso. I am so hype right now…. normally I am sleep at this hour! LOL… I have the good, the bad and the ugly about this situation. The Good: This place was cute… They sell more than just coffee. Including food, seasonal items and specialty drinks ( since it’s fall they have apple cider and pumpkin flavored drinks. They have a full coffee menu that is so creative and cute. The Bad: I think that the next time I am going to stick with tea or cider because I am so buzzed off of my coffee and the shots of expresso. The Ugly: The expresso has me so jittery that I have thought about making myself throw up twice already to make this feeling go away! But that Cider drink that I tried today was so AMAZING!!!! Please stop pass and request that before they switch the seasonal drink to something else. You won’t be disappointed!

ZAMZUU OPPORTUNITY – Menu with Prices – 1116 W Orange Ave, Tallahassee

My husband and I went on an immersion here with Driftour and were totally blown away! What a cool space to learn a new craft! I was nervous to work with the glass and fire but Jeff was a totally awesome teacher and made me feel like a pro. There was also a lot of cool stuff in their gallery area including some pieces by some cool artists I already know. Chantel gave us a tour of the studio areas and educated us about some really cool features about their space. I can?t wait to come back here for some of their future events and classes.

Punch Bowl Social Milwaukee – Menu with Prices – 1122 N Vel R. Phillips Ave, Milwaukee

So much potential!! Someone spent millions to build this place and they got the space absolutely right. The interior is super cool; very modern and fun. You really feel like a kid in a candy store, that is if the candy store was run by workers who were more interested in socializing with each other than there were interested in serving their customers. I can only imagine how much of a shit-show this place is before and after events at Fiserv. We got there pretty early on a Friday night and it wasn’t that crowded. We had to wave down our bartender every time we need a refill. Once we went upstairs to play some games, no one ever came over to ask us if we needed more drinks or to order food. Quite a shame too. We wanted to eat, we wanted to drink more, but no one asked. Also, the one Old Fashioned that I ordered was about the worst I have ever had. I always wonder how these great places can keep opening up in Milwaukee and how they manage to staff them. There has to be a finite amount of talented bartenders and service personnel, right? I think I am starting to see that. It’s quite a shame; this place is really cool. Once they figure out their service model, this place will truly be great; I’m talking license to print money great.

Rewined Beer And Wine Bar – Menu with Prices – 3308 N 24th St, Phoenix

This bar is so cute and cozy. I came here because our reservation for Thai food was over an hour and this was right along the street so we stopped by! I’m glad we did. The bar is placed in the center and has seats all along the edges and a few tables. Has some fun artwork and tons of collectible items and the bar itself is old stickers covered in resin which is awesome. If you like games, definitely come here! They have SO many. A ton of classics and new games. Really you can find a game for a few minutes or hours depending on the game. When you check in you get a cute patch which I think is very on brand and unique which added to the experience. The staff were really nice and cool to chat with, made good recommendations on beer too.

Energy Haus – Menu with Prices – 3300 E Broadway, Long Beach

Whether you need a reboot or are feeling like you’re operating on a lower frequency than you desire, Sara Wong at Energy Haus has the energetic healing to ail your stress. And with loads of treatment options to fit your specific needs. My first experience, a couple years ago, with Reiki was at another location and left me (for a lack of a better description) “meh!”. However, since then I have heard many great outcomes with those that partake with Reiki. I realized Reiki is like with anything else, you must do your research on the practitioner and go in with open communication on what you want out of the treatment. This is not a form of fortune telling, crystal ball foolery. Energy Haus provides another avenue of self care, and mental clarity. I leave Sara feeling “lighter”, happier, and clearer on the work I have to do for self empowerment. As the saying goes, “you take your car in every 3,000 miles for an oil change; why wouldn’t you do the same for yourself”.

Claret Wine & Cocktail Bar – Menu with Prices – 1320 Magazine St, New Orleans

Impromptu Happy Hour on a Saturday…..now that’s my kinda Saturday. What a location! Beautifully nestled at the back of the complex and buttered up against an astro turf lawn sprinkled with families who appear to be dropped straight from the pages of Garden & Gun Magazine. After a laxidazical day of Estate shopping we wondered over to Claret at Jen’s (Infamous Yelper Jen L.) suggestion. A hip open vibe meant I was instantly hooked. We were seated at one of the small tables that overlook the courtyard, where as I mentioned several people were already enjoying glasses of wine and charcuterie. Our one armed server, Sara went over the drink menu and answered all our questions. Let’s be clear. Sara doesn’t really have one arm, she’s temporarily in recovery from a shoulder injury. She also brought over a sampling of the current frozen bevie which was worthy of an Ibiza weekend getaway. I knew immediately that I wanted the Beet Hummus and we chose a cheese plate since our journey for ice cream earlier was squashed. As the plates were served there was the distinct sound of oohs and aahs. Beautiful food. Oh I love you already. As we chatted amongst ourselves, Jen shared with us that Claret is sister to Bar Frances on Freret. Well then….we loved it all. There’s nothing better than a delightful sip of a nice something, a bite of a delicious everything and a varied conversation to end the perfect day. Since it was Happy Hour, what?! Oh hurrah! We’ll have the whipped feta too please. Sara mentioned it was her favorite thing as she present our 3rd choice. It was delicious. I watched the staff buzz around in a playful dance as the tables began to quickly fill. Can I say, for a server with one mobile arm, Sara she can move, whoa. I feel sorry for other places, when I think about a dining experience after my first visit. So much so that I mention it to friends via texts at 1:42am in the morning and plan my next visit as soon as possible, that I think about it for 2 days now…Claret has captured my heart. I’ll be back, much sooner than later and will shout it out…..Happy Hour! oh how delightful you are at Claret!

Felix’s BBQ with Soul – Menu with Prices – 3613 Ocean Ranch Blvd, Oceanside

Felix’s serves absolutely delicious food. And I love that they have huge tables because you’ll want to order a lot. Start out with corn bread that’s always piping hot. I’m not even a fan of cornbread usually, but theirs is crisp outside and soft inside. My bf and I have our order down to the gooey cheesy Mac n’ cheese with an actual cheese pull, mashed potatoes and gravy, jumbo sautéed garlic shrimp served with the tail on, and juicy, succulent dark meat fried chicken. If you want to try a variety you can go with the Sampler Platter of 4 meats and 4 sides for a very affordable $30. Leave with one of their freshly baked desserts, perhaps a giant soft chocolate chip cookie. I have to update my review because of how helpful Sara and the team at Felix’s were with arranging a large group dinner for my bf’s birthday. At first I thought we were going to have 50 people, and they were willing to save a section of the restaurant for me. They cater as well so we looked into options of having it outside of the restaurant or at another location. We only ended up having 30 people and they fit us in the back section of the restaurant across a few tables. Sara was so patient with me as I switched from wanting to place a family style order ahead of time, to switching it to having everyone order on their own, and even when everything was set and I called back realizing that all week I had been telling her the wrong date. I would have been so annoyed with me, but she was really nice about it. I’ve been out to eat at various restaurants with this group of people and we’ve had good and bad experiences. The team at Felix’s handled our group with ease, made sure everyone had the correct items on their check even though kids were sitting at different tables from their parents, and took care of our checks in a timely manner. Aside from 2 plates no one waited too long for their food. If I had to do a large group dinner again, I would feel confident in doing it here. And I think Felix’s has a lot of new fans now!

Lovelady Brewing Company – Menu with Prices – 20 S Water St, Henderson

After searching all over Las Vegas for a recommended brewery, Lovelady kept coming up around different bars by several people. We checked it out when in Henderson, and it’s in a cute spot in the old/town part of Henderson with lots of free parking behind it. The space is very open & clean, with many tables & 10ish barstools. I had tasted one of their Pink Boots IPAs in town & didn’t love or hate it, so I wanted to get one straight from the source to make the best decision (& since there are so few craft breweries in Vegas/Henderson anyway!) When we walked in around noon on a Wednesday, the 2 older guys working were anything but excited see us (though there was only 1 other older guy in there drinking a beer at the time). We tasted 2 different beers & they were not good. I ordered the peanut butter porter, which was one of their flagships, but it was off. Sara’s IPA was awful too, I couldn’t have even drank 1/2 of it. We didn’t feel like it was even worth trying another so we returned our glasses & left. They didn’t even thank us for coming in or offer to let us try something else, despite returning our beers 2/3 full. Awkward at best! I know Vegas isn’t the craft beer capital, but wow this place was no bueno… in fact it made me only want cocktails the rest of my time in the area. Maybe Henderson just isn’t for me, but this vibe (or lack thereof) was certainly a buzzkill!
