We were pumped to hear that there was a new boba spot in South ATX! But it’s not the boba spot for this yelper, sadly. After some dinner across the street, a few of us stopped by. Tea cup is located in the same plaza as the gas station and a new donut shop apparently. Parking is limited, but we were able to find a spot right outside their storefront in the gas station. It was later in the evening, so I opted for the watermelon tea drink since it was non-caffeinated. Their tapioca boba pearls were way too soft and didn’t have a chewy QQ texture. I also requested 0% sweetness (as I usually do, yes I’m crazy) and the watermelon drink was too sweet for my taste. I asked which fruit teas were made with real fruit, and this one was the only one. They also said that the taro was powdered. So that just limited my selection easily. Service was friendly, and the folks working deserve 5 stars. I do love that they have strong wifi and an assortment of seats for people to sit in and play board games. They also have a one-stall restroom for customers, but it wasn’t entirely checked on for items (like toilet paper) that was completely out. Evidently, the prime reason for a boba shop itself should be the boba. I would dare say that I will continue to drive farther up north for better boba. Thanks for the taste test, Tea Cup. Good luck!

Boba Le Tea Cafe – Menu with Prices – 1396 B Forest Avenue Right behind Cricket Wireless, Staten Island

Finally a Boba Tea place closer to me!!! Boba Le Tea Cafe is up the one way on Burnside off of Forest Ave, right on the side. I’ve been there twice before, the first time having the Brown Sugar Black Tea with Boba, and this time I tried their signature Jumbo Fruit Le Tea. Usually I always get the milk teas (highly recommend the BSB Tea) but this time I was recommend their house drink and I’m not disappointed! Huge pieces of all different fruit (orange, grapefruit, kiwi, strawberries, apple, watermelon, passion fruit) and I added the mango popping pearls so good! I highly recommend and next time I’ll have to try their poke bowls!

1-Up Lounge Menu with Prices 1121 McKenzie Ave, Bellingham

This is a place for video game lovers. Super friendly owner. They have 2200 video games, all free to play when you order a glass of alcohol beverage. After the first game, $2 for the next game and so forth (if I remember correctly). If you don’t drink alcohol, $6 (or $5?) per hour to play a game. They have Nintendo, Wii, Sega Genesis, Xbox, Play Station, etc. If you want to play longer, you may want to ask for a 1-day pass. This may be a good place to check out some games you heard about, or try out games before you decide to purchase one. Or simply get together with friends just to have fun playing games. ã??ã??ã?ªã?²ã?¼ã? ã???????ã??ã???ã??å¬?ã?ã?ã?åº???æ?ã??ã?ã?? ã??ã??ã?ªã?²ã?¼ã? ?æ?°?2200ã????å ?ã?Xboxã?ã??ã?¬ã?¤ã?¹ã??ã?¼ã?·ã?§ã?³??ã?è?²ã???ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??å?ã??æ?ã??ã??ã?ã?? ã?¢ã?«ã?³ã?¼ã?«ã??ã?ªã?³ã?¯ã??ã?ªã?¼ã??ã?¼ã?ã???ã?å?ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ?ç?¡æ??ã????ã?²ã?¼ã? ã?ã???ã?2ã??ã?«ã?ã?£ã?¼ã?¸?ã?ã?ã??ã??ã?¢ã?«ã?³ã?¼ã?«ã?????ã??å??ã?1æ??é??6ã??ã?«ï¼?5ã??ã?«ï¼?ï¼?ã??é?·æ??é??é??ã?ã??å???ã?1æ?¥ã??ã?¹??å?¥ã??è?ã???ã???ã??ã?ã?ã?ã??ã?? å???è?ã?ã?ã??ã??ã?ªã?²ã?¼ã? ã???ã???ã?ã??ã?ã???ã?²ã?¼ã? ã???å?¥ã?ã???ã????ã?ã??????ã?ã?ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã???ã???ã??ã??ã???ã?????ã???ã?ã?å?é??ä¸?ç·??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã??é?????ã????ç«??å¯?ã???ã??ã?ã?ã?ã??ã??

Starry Moon Menu with Prices 8001 Wyoming Blvd NE Suite B-7, Albuquerque

Our first time here and it was a very pleasant experience! Best way to describe is if your grandma opened up a boba tea shop, and put nothing but love into her drinks, this is the place to be! This store is locally owned by husband and wife, and she was very nice! Right when we walked in we were welcomed, and given a nice tour of their menu. If you have any questions then don’t be shy to ask! The owner is very friendly and knowledgable. We had ordered the “house milk tea with boba” and the “fresh fruit cup” under the “fruit tea” section. Both drinks were delicious and you can taste that they brew their teas fresh, and you ain’t going to expect no powder based wannabe drinks. I also added “mango cubes” to my fruit cup drink. Side note: the add on’s are not on the main menu or paper menu, but located on a little wooden board near the cash register where you order. They are also an additional 50 cents per topping. I might reconsider getting the mango cubes with the fruit cup next time, because the fruit cup drink has a lot of fresh fruits in the drink (depending on what they have). Today the drink had kiwis, oranges, and dragon fruit, and the base of the drink was a passion fruit tea. It was difficult to catch the mango cubes because it would just float to the top, and the other fruits would just get stuck at the end of the straw! Overall, a great experience! We loved the interior, it was very open and airy. The decorations had personality and you could tell the owners put their own twist in it. We will be back.

KING KONG MILKTEA AND JUICE Menu with Prices 800 N Main St, Alpharetta

Overall…pretty good! Just from being in the area we’ve noticed there wasn’t many bubble tea shops close by. I absolutely love Tea Top in Chamblee, but it is a ~20min drive from Alpharetta. So we were pleasantly surprised to find a tea shop close by. Service: pretty minimal talking since we just ordered and sat down in a booth. The two girls were very quick with making the drink orders. Drinks: I got the Royal Black Milk Tea with boba. I guess I’m a little spoiled by Tea Top since I’m used to being asked if I want to adjust my sugar or ice level. Which is fine. My drink was a little sweeter than I would’ve liked, but still good and not too watered down. The boba in my drink did have an almost toasty taste(?) that was a little different from what I’m used to. I actually liked how the boba wasn’t that saturated in syrup so it didn’t sweeten the drink anymore. We also ordered the KK signature that was actually a bit sweeter than mine and had a more floral taste to it. Not bad for our first time. I do want to come back and try the sugarcane juice since you don’t find that option choice in other tea shops. Interior: it’s a decent spot to come to get some work done. The booths have outlet plugs and cushioned seating so if you’re sitting for a while this is where you would want to be. They had board games and such so that you can hang with friends, but I didn’t see too much up at the front. 4/5 – because it was pretty good for it being so close by. Im curious about the other drinks so that makes me want to return eventually

Milk Tea Lab – Menu with Prices – 1601 Branham Ln, San Jose

Rundown: I’m not sure exactly how to review “The Lab” AKA Milk Tea Lab (MTL), but I will try my best here. I sense that people in the bay area are picky how they get their boba served and itemized. I have probably only tried 3 other Boba places in a 10 year span; coming from an amatuer POV, I feel like the prices here are fair for quality and size. The people here are out-going, attentive and pay extra attention to detail. I am a basic tea drinker, normally I don’t have any special/extra requests for my tea. I got a Sm. Mango green tea @ 100% sugar and 100% Ice? Not sure I could definitely taste Mango, Green tea and sugar fusion in my drink. It was pretty sweet and lightly tart, but I liked the taste. Most of my Boba experience have been careless, so this was different. Next time I will request lower sugar levels! Ahhhhh! :+)’ My mom got a Sm Peach green tea: 100% sugar 100% ice and she also liked her drink, I think my mom like’s boba more than I do. She likes sweet things, cuz she’s a sweet and beautiful person. Good match! hahaha! The space is really BIG and reminds me of like a big A** toddler play room/daycare or something, they have few tables and some armchairs. The atmosphere is really laid-back and casual lots of SPACE and lots of pastel going on here. Reminds me of my nieces old bed room! Some kind of DJ set up in the back too, I’m assuming for local talent show’s. They also have some kind of periodic table for tea recommendations for geeks too and board games too! Fun place for 1 on 1’S and family time! Enso#84 The Lab#24 Yr#26 _Let’s smile and have some fun today.

Fruitea Boba – Menu with Prices – 146 S Main St Unit L, Orange

Been trying to watch how much boba tea I’ve been drinking, so for a Friday night was trying to find a place that sells good fruit tea. When I saw the Fruitea Boba sign after driving around the area near Round 1, I thought it would be perfect to quench my tea craving while also staying “healthy.” Big mistake. It sucks because the decor and interior is cute and the owner (I think) is very kind. Giving out samples to people and just a very nice person. However, I am very disappointed in the quality and taste of their fruit teas. Which is ironic because with this name for a tea shop, you would expect them to serve very good fruit teas. We ordered the: -Strawberry Guava: I tasted mostly strawberry with guava as an after taste. The flavor is made from syrup and there is no fresh fruit inside. The tea is brewed very weak so the drink ends up tasting like a Capri sun. -Milk tea (we got the buy two, get one free so decided to add in a milk tea last minute): Watery and again weak tea. Has little to no flavor besides the taste of milk. -Peachy Lychee: This is the one I was most looking forward too. The tea is again weak and not aromatic. There isn’t a strong peach or lychee flavor. Just an overall flavor of syrup. Boba: Their boba is amazing though. The perfect qq texture. Not too hard and not too soft. It is sweetened. If only they had good drinks to pair with their delicious boba. They have an Instagram backdrop area. But the sign is really long so you get photos that either cut off the whole sign or if you get the whole sign in the photo, the composition is awkward. It’s located oddly down the hall near their bathrooms. Overall: Disappointed. I’ve had better fruit tea elsewhere and I think they could benefit by putting actual fruit pieces in their teas. I like the whole Hawaiian/island theme and vibe, but overall not what a boba shop should be prioritizing over the quality of the drinks.

Bubbly Tea Bar – Menu with Prices – 2020 W Pensacola St, Tallahassee

The only pure bubble tea shop in Tallahassee. First time here and the experience was pretty decent. The service by the sole employee there was exceptional. She was the only person working there at around 1:30 PM on a Sunday. That poor girl had to run the register and make the tea for 10 waiting customers. The four stars were for her extraordinary effort as she did all these in pretty good time. Now, to the store. It has a good number of seatings and there were board games and playing cards available for customers to play with (thankful for the cards today while waiting). The seats weren’t designed for long period of sitting. You won’t find me hanging out for too long in here. I had the Lychiberry today which were quite tasty and my husband had the Royal Thai tea with honey boba. They were good but I do not believe it is $5.50 good. I don’t know if the price point is sustainable. It won’t be something I’ll come for a whole lot – considering the price and the wait (boba tea cafes are supposed to be in and out places). That being said, I will return once in a while to satisfy my craving.

Rook & Rogue Board Game Pub Menu with Prices 206 W Magnolia St, Bellingham

This is a very unique restaurant/pub in Bellingham. The owner is from Orlando, who thought Bellingham is “the place” to have a Boardgame pub and started it. They have 1300 board games on site. Many of them are free to play, some are $5, and some serious big games are $10 to play. If you are serious game player, you may want to pay $50/year membership to play $5 games, and $100/year membership to play $10 games. Membership comes with a free on entree meal on your birthday and free dessert. They have tables with a game board built in (I heard they paid around $2500 for the table). You can keep playing on the table till the food is ready and when food comes, they’ll install the table top on the table to eat, then after eating, they’ll remove the table top for you to continue playing the game. Some games like “Twilight Imperium” will take 13-17 hours to finish, therefore you may want to reserve the table for 2 days to complete the game. “Dark Tower” electronic board game came out in 1981 was on the $10 shelf. This game is discontinued and not made anymore, but you can still play at this place ? There is one boardgame pub in Seattle, but they say each boardgame pubs has its own characteristics and none of them are the same. Even if you are not into a board game, would be fun to try out once in your life ? ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã?ã?ã?¼ã?«ã??ã?¬ã?¤ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??å?é???ã???ã?ã??ã?é£?äº?ã??ã?ã?ã?æ???ã?å?§ã????ã?ã??ã?¬ã?¹ã??ã?©ã?³? 1300?é¡?ã???ã?²ã?¼ã? ã?ã?ã??ã?ã??ã?å¤???ç?¡æ????ã?å?ºã?ã??ã??ã?ã?????ã?ã?·ã?ªã?¢ã?¹?ã?²ã?¼ã? ?ã?å??ã??ã????$ï¼?ã??ã?«ã?$10ã??ã?«?ã???ã??ã?ã???ã?ã?ã??é??50ã??ã?«ã??ã??100ã??ã?«??ä¼??ã??æ????ã?5ã??ã?«ã?10ã??ã?«å??ã??æ?¾é¡??ã?ã?æ??ã??ã?? ?ä¼????ã?ã?èª?ç??æ?¥?ç?¡æ???ã?é£?äº?ã??ã?ã?ã??ã?¶ã?¼ã??ã?ç?¡æ?????ç?¹å?¸ã?ã?ã??ã??ã??ã?ã?? åº???ã?ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ç?¨ã??ã?¤ã??ã?³ã?°ã??ã?¼ã??ã?«ã?ã?ã??ã?ã?é£?äº?ã??ã????ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã???ã??ã?ã?é£?äº?ã??ã?ã??ã?ä¸??ã??ã?¼ã??ã?«?ã??ä¹?ã??ã?é£?äº?ã?ã?é£??çµ?ã??ã?ã??ã?ã??ã?¼ã??ã?«?ã??å?ã??æ????ã?ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ç¶?ã?ã??ã??ã????ã?ã??ã??ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã?¤ã??ã?³ã?°ã??ã?¼ã??ã?«?ã?2500ã??ã?«??ã?ã????ã?ã?? ã???å»?ç?¤????ã?ã??ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? “Dark Tower” ã??ã?æ??ä½??ã??çµ?äº?ã?ã????13æ??é???ã?ã?ã???è¨?ã?ã???ã?ã?? “Twilight Imperium” ?ã?ã?ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã?ã???ã?ã?? ã?·ã?¢ã??ã?«?ã??1?ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã??ã?ã?ã???ã??ã?ã?ã??ã??ã?ã???ã??ã???å??æ?§ã?ã???é?ã????ã?ã?? ä¸??ã?ä½?é¨?ã??å?¼??ã?é£?äº?ã??ã???ã?ã?ã?¬ã?¹ã??ã?©ã?³?ã?ã??

Kurabi Bubble Tea – Menu with Prices – 3821 Airport Blvd Ste. A, Mobile

I used to like hanging out at Kurabi when they first opened. It’s very nice and chill. Good spot if you want to hangout with friends because they have board games and card games you can use for free! They also have free wifi if you need to study but some nights there are game tournaments happening and it gets so loud. They have lots of drink flavors to choose from and you can also customize the sugar level of your drink! If you’re unsure which one to get, they have free taste of certain flavors ? They have numerous add-ins too but I just always get the tapioca pearls. They also have some goodies you can munch on. Taking one star off because the store had been crazy (see picture attached). It’s full of different stuff which makes the store look so messy. I wish they can clear things out or at least hide it behind the game shelf. Nonetheless, it’s still a great spot for boba. The crews are friendly and patient with my indecisiveness (I know, it’s embarrassing haha) Try it when you get a chance!

Tastea Glendale – Menu with Prices – 9184 W Northern Ave Ste 105, Glendale

This boba shop is originated from California and after having it only twice in the Garden Grove location, I wasn’t impressed. However, after the long anticipated wait for this place to open, I gave it a shot. I came here during their soft opening on a Tuesday night. I came 30 minutes before they closed due to a friend wanting to go and luckily they weren’t busy. I tried their Peach Me Sweetea with honey boba ($4.25 for 20oz) and I was very impressed. It was a perfect amount of sweet and tea together! The Tris/Tristen (I believe that’s her name) was the cutest girl ever. She provided excellent customer service and explained the drinks very well! A couple days later, I stopped by this place again because I was in the area. I knew this place was more will known for their slushes so I tried their Peach Me Freezie with honey boba ($4.70 for 20oz) and I was just as impressed. This drink was the slush version of the Peach Me Sweetea so it was amazing! I also ordered their Shrimp On It with mild sauce ($6.25)! I was actually surprised how big the shrimps were. I believe there was a total of 8-10 shrimp pieces in the box they give you which is a fair amount for the price. Gina, their district manager was in town for the week and she provided great quality service. I wasn’t sure about the Watermelon Sensation drink but I was curious about it because it was a seasonal drink only. She was kind enough to let me switch out my drink and to let me try it! The drink to me was definitely refreshing and I can see why a lot of people like this one. She was also very nice and had a conversation with me as she acknowledged me as a customer. Overall the store is great! They did a great job for customer service, very fast, and they keep the place very clean! It’s on the smaller side so the seats are very limited but not a big deal to me. The franchise owners Dean and David are nice guys as well. The second time I came in, Dean sat down with me and had a conversation with me about place and he was very humble about his experience. I started coming here a couple more times after their Grand Opening. It started becoming very popular and busy! People from east side such as Gilbert, Chandler, and etc are making the effort to drive all the way down here just to try the boba place! Definitely keep it up!

Jasmine Kocha – Menu with Prices – 3129 Meridian Ave, San Jose

We came here because they had their promo of buy one, get one drink 1.99 (Extended until the 15th of October btw, make sure you show them their Facebook post and like it)! The service is nice and they like to try helping you order. I believe it’s family run as they all came out from the back and were snacking together in the front. This made me worry about who was in the back making the teas or letting the stuff sit there.. What we ordered and how it came out: Matcha Latte: little ice, reg sweet, no topping: Matcha powder is low quality/weak and had a powdery aftertaste. You could really only taste the milk as it seemed like they didn’t use a lot of matcha as they’re supposed to. Choco milk tea: less ice, reg sweet, no topping: Could really only taste Hershey syrup and no tea. Might as well just call it just chocolate milk. Red Moonshine: less ice, reg sweet, with mango popping boba. This is a strawberry and watermelon fused drink! You can’t taste the strawberry but can taste the watermelon. The tea is weak in this one as well and the popping boba wasn’t great either, which REALLY surprised me…you can never go wrong with popping boba unless you keep it out of the fridge for a long period of time and then serve it, like this place did. Ahhh… Long story short: they use the cheapest things to serve customers and it’s not worth the drive or the promo. There’s much better places around San Jose that does a lot better. I don’t think I’ll be back :/

Kung Fu Tea – Menu with Prices – 2067 N Central Expy Suite 100, Richardson

Kung Fu Tea One of my favorite Boba chains and has locations all over the US. My favorite drinks from KFT are the milk teas. The Milk Teas at KFT are my favorite because of how creamy and rich the milk tea is compared to other Boba shop chains. The inside of the place is clean and looks nice but tables can be dirty like any other boba shop. The staff can make common mistakes just like any other boba shops. Another thing is their attention to your sugar preference. Sometimes I can order 50% sweetness but it’s still really sweet at KFT. This goes for every single boba shop out their is their attention to your sugar preference that you order. The same thing applies when you ask for less ice at KFT and all boba shops can give you normal ice amount. I’ve been to many boba chains and my favorite boba chain is ShareTea for its generous serving of boba and you get a larger size for the same price as a small size at KFT. The tea creaminess of the milk tea at ShareTea is more subtle then KFT. So it’s all a matter of your preference if you want more tea and stronger tea flavor go to ShareTea if you like your tea creamy but get less tea go to Kung Fu Tea. Another thing I don’t like about KFT is that they use a lot of powder flavoring for fruit drinks like taro. My favorite drink at KFT is oolong milk tea with boba because it’s creamy and rich flavor and a nutty taste. Drinks I recommend ordering are the Matcha red bean slush, oolong milk tea, and Kung fu tea. KFT also has an app to earn rewards and points every time you buy.
