Seventh Mountain River Company provides an amazing rafting experience! Specifically Nathan, our guide, made this adventure one to remember! He was very knowledgeable about the river/area and just like any great guide had jokes and stories to keep you engaged! The tour was perfectly organized first meeting at their offices then a short ride (less than 10min) to the river. I would recommend wearing water shoes, sandals that strap on and not flip flops. You will definitely be getting wet so be prepared! If you are taking sunglasses I also recommend some for of strap to keep them on. They will give you the opportunity to jump in the water and swim. I recommend doing it as it is extremely refreshing! Once you return to the office, I recommend planning a few minutes to relax, grab a drink and enjoy the Inn at Seventh Mountains property. Lots of great places to lounge and socialize. I will absolutely be back!

Paddler’s Pub – Menu with Prices – 1329 N U.S. Hwy 287, Fort Collins

MWD IS THE BEST RAFTING COMPANY IN FORT COLLINS,CO! Four of us (two couples) went on a half day rafting trip. Our family has been rafting in several states and MWD ranking as one of the best overall. From the online reservations to check in and even the safety review everything is done professionally yet friendly manner. All the guides are well trained and dedicated to making the trip down the river as fun and as safe as possible. Our guide Nate was able to quickly sense that even though we might not have been the most able raft he ever guided we were willing to give it our all. His skills as a river man were obvious, but we all really appreciated his knowledge of not only the environmental but the historical significance of the river. Our only regret was we did not have time for a full day trip! TOP RATE ALL TH

Sakkio Japan – Menu with Prices – 3661 Eisenhower Pkwy #24, Macon

Best food place in the mall. Teriyaki entrees are cooked to order rather than sitting in a tray. Food is tasty, fresh, and filling… And they give a lot for the price! They don’t give you tap water though so be prepared to pay for bottled water if you want water, but then again you are already getting a great deal for the quality and amount of food you’ll be getting.

Pure Water Ice And Tea Company – Menu with Prices – 5801 4th St, Lubbock

I am a water diva, okay? That’s fine with me. Some people are divas about their coffee or shoes or sunglasses, but me, I will stick to being a water diva and a food diva. Pure Water impressed me like, “Whoa!” the first time I went in. I use a five gallon water jug in our kitchen to dispense heavenly and cold water perfectly at any moment. We have 2 jugs (tee hee) and get them refilled about once every two weeks. We used to go to an old fashion water machine outside of Market Street and fill them ourselves for $1 a jug. When you fill it yourself you do everything yourself. Carry it to the water dispenser, awkwardly put one on the ground while you fill up the other one. Then you are left there with two heavy jugs of water with no sealed lids and your car is across the way somewhere in the parking lot. It is quite the hassle (I know, first world problems). At Pure Water Ice & Tea they make the above process look even more terrible in comparison the the royal treatment they provide for you. You can either go through the drive thru (which never has a line) and they will take it through the window and then have someone escort it to your car (with a sealed lid and sanitized jug might I add). The other more fun way is to bring your empty jug inside and give it to the front. They will take care of all of it while you enjoy picking a tea to experience. They have over 20 different fountain style teas that they brew in house to pour and enjoy over ice. You can get one tea or mix 20 to fill your cup, they don’t care. I usually mix 1/4 sweet watermelon with 3/4 unsweet green peach. By the time you are done having fun with the tea your water jug is sanitized and filled and someone is waiting to escort it to your car for you. All of this awesome extra amaziness and it is only $2 for a 5 gallon jug of reverse osmosis water. I will never get my water for my house anywhere else.

Endless Summer Paddle and Coffee Company – Menu with Prices – 1301 Frankfort Ave, Louisville

Oh my gosh! This place is not only awesome, but it is so needed on the Waterfront! Endless Paddle just moved into the Waterside Apartments on River Road. The address is Frankfort Ave, but don’t be fooled, it’s off River. (Directions Tip: know where Frankfort Ends and the Historic House facade is? Enter The Riverside Apts at that intersection and turn right into the parking lot. The shop is literally on that corner. This location just opened this weekend, but I’d believe it was here for years. It’s warmly decorated and brightly lit. There are large windows that overlook the marina on the Ohio River, the bar top is a live-edge tree and (what appears to be) recycled pallet wood. There is a paddle board adorning the wall and a great little merch corner that features t-shirts, coffee mugs, water bottles, sunglasses, socks and bagged coffee from Nate’s Coffee (out of Lexington). They sell yummy looking baked goods and bagels. None are gluten-free at this time, but we talked with the owner and she is planning to find products that are allergy safe soon. She does offer a peanut butter alternative for the smoothies and is even planning to purchase additional blenders so they can designate one as the “allergy-safe” blender. She’s picky about her products, meaning she loves high-quality and local protein powders, elixir, etc. she’s going to reach out to her company about allergy-safe products. That’s pretty cool. As we were talking, someone came in with a dog and she said they were pet-friendly too. I worried about my pet allergies, but she’s doing such a great job with cleaning and being allergy-friendly, I’d imagine she’d take extra care to clean up when pets to come into the shop. I don’t know the prices, but they will/do offer paddle board classes, including a sunrise yoga and (I think) a midnight SUP class. I think you can rent boards, or will be able to once it’s warm. The selection of teas is pretty good, and they can make classic lattes and cappuccinos in addition to smoothies. The prices were really reasonable and they have a rewards program through Square. I earned 9 points on my purchase of a latte and smoothie. They also have lots of milk alternatives, including almond and coconut milk. I’m super impressed with the spot. They have WiFi, so I’d be a great place to come work or take a meeting. Waterside Wellness is literally connected to them, so the bathrooms are in the gyms space, as is the water fountain. I think she said they ordered some outdoor furniture that will arrive soon too. Great spot and friendly staff/owner. Love this place and am so glad Waterfront Park now has a walkable coffeeshop.

The Naked Dog Savannah – Menu with Prices – 502 E River St, Savannah

And of course, when you are a foodie, you like to try things at both ends of the cuisine spectrum, and with good food and fine dining, I also wanted to check out a street vendor or two. The Naked Dog is a great little food stand in the River Street Marketplace. I ordered the Jumbo Chicago Dog and the Nacho Chili Pie (Nachos with Chili and Cheese). The nachos were good, but boy, do they cook a mean hot dog! My hot dog was juicy and full of flavor, and the neion relish was unlike anything I’ve ever had (the toppings all together made it taste like the relish was brined or pickled with hot peppers – I found it to be quite a refreshing change, and I love being pleasantly surprised like that when I order a dish from a place were I’ve never eaten before. Tables are right outside with a spectacular view of the Savannah River, and the freelance guitar player who happened to be there on Friday definitely added to the experience. Definitely coming back here again.

Zaxby’s Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings – Menu with Prices – 540 W El Camino Alto St, Springfield

I try to leave reviews that are helpful to people reading them and the establishment. We placed our order to go at 2:40 PM. We didn’t have our order until 2:55. 15 minutes isn’t that long to wait and I generally don’t mind. However, when I look into the kitchen and I see all the workers goofing off and playing around, it’s no wonder my order took so long to prepare. I wasn’t offered any sauces for the strips we ordered, I had to ask for them. I told the young lady taking our order at the start that it was the first time we had ever been to a Zaxby’s which presented her with a golden opportunity to explain how the restaurant worked and what types of food they have. She missed an opportunity for a great customer service experience and an opportunity for an upsale. I can get chicken strips anywhere. The food was mediocre, the price was high and the service was bad. Will not be returning any time soon.

The Water Brewery – Menu with Prices – 1125 Victoria St ste a, Costa Mesa

So much to say about this fine establishment, no words seem to do it justice. From my first time walking into the “brewery”, I was blown away by not only the array of supplements, elixirs, lifestyle goods, raw desserts, and of course, water, but also the level of presence and enthusiasm from all of its staff. I travel weekly from LA to Costa Mesa to work and train with a friend who introduced me to this place, and ne’er do I miss an opportunity to stop by here. Always greeted warmly by Melissa, Kenny, or another, someone is always eager to grab my water bottles for fill up and engage in some enlivening conversation. And whether it’s the raw apple crumble, pistachio halva, or the newest carob hemp brownie, I cannot resist AT LEAST one of Tatiana’s treats! Then there’s the water. Besides taking a drink direct from some pristine mountain source, I’ve probably not tasted a better water than Einar’s aqua A.M.O.R.E. I thoroughly enjoy my experience of his alchemical creation, as well as his own smiling countenance. In that light, I consider The Water Brewery to be my main source of hydrating nectar, and a welcoming space to eat, drink, and be inspired!

Ghost Coast Distillery – Menu with Prices – 641 Indian St, Savannah

My husband is a big whiskey & bourbon lover, so this distillery was a “must see” on his list while in Savannah. We stopped in for some drinks and it lived up to the hype! Great atmosphere -relaxed, good music, board games and such to play; great service -friendly, attentive staff who seemed to really enjoy their job; and awesome liquor! My husband loved the straight bourbon so much that we made a special trip across town to procure bottles of it to take home, after finding out that the ones on hand for sale at the distillery from that small-batch had already sold out! We brought them back to Florida and he’s already been giving tastings to friends -who agree that it is super smooth and very tasty! Definitely recommend taking the tour, which they give at the top of every hour. It’s informative, interesting, and the tour guide is crazy entertaining!

Dolphins and You – Menu with Prices – 307 Lewers St #401, Honolulu

I actually frequent Hawaii often, and I have actually done several different snorkeling and scuba adventures when I visit. To be completely honest this company was by far the most disappointing out of any by far! The highlight of the entire outing was huge water slide, which I really could care less about since that wasnt what I was there for. There were two pitchers on boat for guest to drink one water and the other I guess lemonade. Lemonade tasted like super diluted tap water. Yuck! One of irritating issue was I paid for picture package along with dolphin swim. No where I website did I see that in order to recieve the pictures I had already paid for I would have to drive down to their main location (20 miles away from hotel or pay an additional $5 to have them shipped) would have been nice to know before paying $60 for picture package that it would be such a inconvenience to get them in the end. What’s more aggravating is I am going through the usb I got with what I thought were my pictures and out of the 600 something pictures on usb there are maybe 15 of me and people in my group. Are you flipping kidding me!!!! I paid $65 for maybe 15 pictures, most of them are not even very good shots of any of us! The rest of the pictures are of random other people who were on boat and the staff.. why in the heck would I pay that much for tons of pictures of other people I don’t even care about! I have been on other excursions where there was half the amount of people on boat the time you scuba or snorkel was much longer. When on this each time we went into water felt rushed. I will definitely never be using this company again & definitely do not recommend!!!

No-Li Brewhouse – Menu with Prices – 1003 E Trent Ave #170, Spokane

Talk about a great place to have a drink with friends on the spokane river! Very large place, both inside and out. They have a pretty cool ‘game’ room near the outdoor seating. Very nice rustic feel about the place. The outside seating is where it’s at, specially in late August! You have great, spaced out seating and a wonderful view of the river just a few steps away. I really liked the chairs right on the edge of the water where you can just watch the world drift by with a great craft beer. I could easily spend the whole day here. Great selection of beer, wine and a full bar for those that don’t particularly like a cold beer. I have found it quite hard to find a blackened fish taco that is not fried in this area. So imagine my surprise, when there it was on the menu! Lightly seasoned, with a nice sauce and cabbage on the top. The chips n salsa that accompany it were quite tasty! The Firecracker chicken salad my mom got was a fresh take, and had a nice bite to it in heat! The burger my cousin got looked extremely yummy, though I didn’t ask for a bite. He assured me it was delicious! The seasoned fries were very good and crispy! I’m sooooo coming back, as soon as possible before it gets too cold to hang outside. However, I saw space heaters outside, so maybe even then I’ll be out there! Thank you to Jodi, our server! She was very nice and swift to get our drinks and order. She was kind enough to turn the music down for me when I asked, to a much more comfortable level.

Roulaison Distilling Co – Menu with Prices – 2727 S Broad Ave Suite #103, New Orleans

I was lucky enough to go on a private tour on a Saturday afternoon with a few friends. Co-owner Andrew was our guide and he did a fantastic job telling us all about the rum making process and explained everything in an easy-to-understand manner. Roulaison is a small and new rum distilling company and, I’ll be honest, I know nothing about liquor production. Everything here is handcrafted and it’s all local. All of this was pretty new to me, but I found the tour very interesting and Andrew was extremely nice and was happy to answer questions. After the tour came the tasting and I’m not a liquor drinker, so this got real interesting. I can usually handle liquor if it’s mixed with something, so I was thankful for the teeniest little thimble full of samples that we had to try. Some of the rum burned, but that’s probably because I “can’t hang”. By the third taste I had to reach for water- I’m such a lightweight. I did, however, really enjoy the rum liqueur that was offered, mainly because it had some sweetness to it. You can actually have them mix you up a cocktail, if that’s your thing. I highly recommend the tour, especially if you like learning about new things and how things are made.

Grand River Cigar Lounge – Menu with Prices – 144 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids

My friend and I walked into Crand River Cigar just looking to grab a few cigars for a men’s night out. When I walked in I saw a fine establishment with a macho, yet welcoming, auora. With leather couches in the back and two large HD TVs, it was evident that this would be the place to cach the big game while indulging on some fine cigars. We were promptly greeted by the owner. He was extremely nice as he offered my friend and I a spot to watch the football game. Although we are relatively inexperienced in the cigar department, he was completely helpful and unassuming. As for the cigars, they were in a humidity controlled room inside of the shop. The assortment was as good as the price. With a wide variety of fine, well-priced cigars, kind staff, and an inviting, yet genuine, “cigar” vibe I will most definitely be returning to Grand River Cigar.
