Fresh, Authentic, Spicy, Super hot when you get it. This place…is actually my go to place now. Its super close to my work and place in the tower district. At first one can easily just blow past it because the outside is nothing really special and I mean, there’s not a huge sign with it. Its like when you drive close to it, you’ll see it. Why I like it: The food. When I eat asian foods, I pay attention to one important aspect when I get the food. Is it super hot when I receive it. This means everything was cooked freshly, that it wasn’t sitting, and that most of the bacteria would be cooked off also. I am not impressed at all if my food comes in cold. This place is not that kind of place. Everything is fresh and hot. What I order is the Pad Thai. I know, lame, dude, eat something different, but this pad Thai….its so flavorful! It has just the right mix of perfect “al dente” taste when it comes to asian noodles, as well as it is perfectly coated and seasoned with all the right sauces. Nothing is over powering nor is it super salty. It actually tastes quite light, and the addition to the peanuts an lime juice really puts it together. I add a lot of extra hot sauce to make it there, and boom…Im in heaven. I love even the smell of it when its placed in front of me. I have much respect for the chefs for they know exactly what they are doing, and they do everything perfectly consistently. I honestly ate there for 3 days in a row and was not disappointed nor was I feeling bad. It was everything I wanted it and expected it to be. That being said: the food stands out to me. I haven’t tried the curries yet, but Im sure they are good as well. The front counter people are also very polite, patient, and really do their best to help you. I think the owner or manager is very accommodating and really does show that he likes to help you and wants to make your experience that much better. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, I think is something all should try Thank you for bringing this restaurant to tower and Im a big supporter of it

Lek’s Railroad Thai – Menu with Prices – 300 Water St B, Montgomery

I am Southeast Asian and crave Asian food 99% of the time so the family and I tend to check out local Asian restaurants. The restaurant located in Union Station which is a cool historic building. The restaurant is small inside but has patio seating. The hostess he was friendly and attentive. The waitress seemed busy. I was not in impressed by the menu. The items are very Americanized. So if you are looking for true Thai cuisine this is not the place for you. The only reason we finished the food is because we were starving from our 13+ hour drive. The pad thai was way too sweet and over cooked. The soft crab was sweet, too. Total was $47 without tip for spring rolls, calamari, pad thai and softshell crab. Overall I thought price was high compared to portion and quality.

THAI STREET Menu with Prices Broadway Market 1640, Aliceanna St #11, Baltimore

YUM! I am loving Broadway Market so much and was super excited that Thai Street was here since there isn’t much good Thai in Baltimore. Lots of different options and I’ve come multiple times so far: 1. Pad See Ew: noodles were super tasty–perfectly cooked, just soft enough but not too soft that they were disintegrating. Flavor of the sauce was really good, sweet and savory. I added pork to mine which was the only thing I disliked as the pork was pretty dry. Wished it also had some more vegetables, but would try again 2. Crab fried rice: I wasn’t expecting much from this dish but wow, the rice is packed with flavor. Decent amount of crab, but really, the rice is the star! A bit on the pricier side 3. This past Friday brought the Bike Party to Broadway Market, and for the event, Thai Street had a stall serving grilled chicken thigh with sticky rice. It’s not on the regular menu but it totally should be because this is my favorite dish so far that I’ve tried from Thai Street. The chicken is super tender, juicy, smokey from the grill, and marinated in an awesome sauce. Simple, but amazing. 4. Mango sticky rice: just a lovely dessert. Rice is perfectly cooked, mango is fresh and beautifully plated. Coconut milk is subtly sweet.

Ginger Street SLC – Menu with Prices – 324 S State St Suite 150, Salt Lake City

This newer restaurant, 4 Months open, is absolutely a culinary delight.! From the staff to the keen eye for customer service to the absolutely delicious food. Alex our waiter provided superior customer service. He provided a great explanation of the dishes, the flow of the meals and excellent food suggestions. The food was so good I wasn’t able to take picture before my family started eating! Okay so let’s talk food! Excellent selections and variety of Asian fusion and Thai styled dishes. A must is the crispy duck spring rolls. These pair the richness of the duck with fresh vegetables and a savory Asian dipping sauce. Green papaya salad is a perfect blend of the tangy green papaya with fresh crisp green beans, a tangy lime and chili vinaigrette and crushed peanuts. You must have the dry green beans. Perfectly sautéed and partnered with a soy based sauce. If you like wings…their gojicchang wings are a traditional Korean style favorite and perfectly cooked. Crispy, tangy, not over saucy, not too hot or too sweet. Now, the Tom kha gai soup is the best I have experienced across the country. Perfect texture, flavor and ingredients. This only comes in a cup size, but I would tell the chef to consider a meal size portions. Because people will love this as a meal. Thai the Thai basil chicken is also a great dish. Perfect blend of chicken, rice, vegetables and topped with a sunny side up egg. The Jellyfish beer is awesome. This is a local beer and it is refreshing, balanced and pairs perfectly with the flavors of the meal. Finally the Fried Banana dessert…well it will wave you speechless. Topped with their handcrafted ice cream this dessert is not cloyingly sweet…it is a perfect balance and you won’t want to miss it!

Asian Mini Mart – Menu with Prices – 2568 S Church St D, Murfreesboro

This is an awesome little Asian market owned and operated by the same people who own Pad Thai Cafe. From what I heard, they were originally going to expand the restaurant, but had some problems from the city government and decided to just make it a market instead. That doesn’t bother me in the least, this is a great market with a number of unique finds. Sure I wish that they could have added more seating to my favorite Lao Restaurant in Murfreesboro, but I am also excited about having another great Asian Market in town. They have great snacks you can come in and get too like fully cooked and ready to dive into Lao sausage, a great assortment of seafood, meat, desserts, cookies and sweets, and many item that are a little more rare and hard to find. Next time you’re in the area, go by and support this wonderful new market and your friends at Pad Thai Cafe!

Eddie’s Thai – Menu with Prices – 2571 N Hiatus Rd, Hollywood

Finally got around to checking this place out a couple of days ago. It is super close to the house but we don’t eat thai often so we forgot it was there. When we arrived I noticed that everything was clean and it’s a cute restaurant with tables and a bar. We were greeted by the owner, Eddie, and seated right away. The servers were very nice. I had read some reviews before hand and while some of them weren’t that great, most of them were really good so we decided to still give it a shot. We are glad that we did. I had the Pad Woon Sen with chicken and shrimp and it was very nicely done. The shrimp and chicken were cooked perfectly and were not rubbery. My husband had the duck in a thai red curry sauce (medium). I am not the biggest fan of curry but I really liked the sauce. I like that the owner swung by the table a few times to ask if everything was good. It is nice to see a restaurant owner that actually works the front and keeps an eye on things. We will definitely be back.

Yimm Oakland – Menu with Prices – 6048 College Ave, Oakland

Solid Thai cuisine right in the heart of Rockridge! I’ve gotta be completely honest though; when I first heard that a new Thai place was coming to this area, I wasn’t all that thrilled. I just thought, “Another Thai place?” There are SO many Thai places in the area and many of them are located right on the same street. But after trying Yimm, I can honestly say that this spot is really tasty. I stopped by for lunch and had a really enjoyable experience. I absolutely love the décor! The interior is a mix of rustic and modern with a very open floor plan. The booths all have cute little pillows to sit back on. The bar, although small, is extremely charming. You can tell that they put a lot of thought into the design. Service was impeccable from beginning to end. My water was refilled promptly and never once did I feel rushed. My food arrived in a timely manner and they even boxed the leftovers up for me. Everyone was smiling was seemed really excited to be there. Apparently this is the sister restaurant of Imm Thai Street Food in Berkeley. I haven’t yet tried Imm Thai, but I’ve always heard good things about them. Yimm’s specialty is their “home cooking” style. They have array of “home cooked” items on their menu that are prepared a bit differently from your standard Thai cuisine. These particular menu items cost a bit more, but it makes sense because of the “home cooked” quality. I haven’t tried any of their home cooked items, but I will definitely be making another trip here to do so. I had their yellow chicken curry rice plate which was surprisingly really good. I’m used to Thai yellow curry being more on the mild side when it comes to the spice level. While this wasn’t super spicy, it had a great spicy kick that I thoroughly enjoyed. I’m not used to this with yellow curries, but I really enjoyed it. The curry was nice and thick and the potatoes and veggies were cooked perfectly, almost to the point of them melting in my mouth. The Thai spices were so pronounced and extremely fragrant. This curry was the bomb.com! While I enjoyed the yellow curry, it wasn’t anything that knocked my socks off. It was good but not the best that I’ve ever had. However, it still poses as a solid option for Thai food in the Rockridge area. I’m planning on coming back to try some of their home cooked entrees soon.

Fire Grill Asian Fusion – Menu with Prices – 293 King St, Charleston

No matter how many times I come here, whether it’s the middle of the workday or in the early evening, I am never disappointed by Fire. The staff are SO friendly and care so much about each of the customers. Although this place is usually packed, it takes less than 5 minutes to get a table. They actually just renovated a few months ago and it looks great inside! The booths are roomy and the individual tables have really comfy chairs. For a classic Asian dish you can never go wrong with the pad Thai. It is cooked to perfection and has a substantial amount of flavor. I always opt for the chicken Hibachi with fried rice. It comes with steamed veggies and white sauce, which adds a bit of flavor. If I could get this every day, I would! When I’m not super hungry but still want Asian food, I come in and get either a California or a Philly roll. Also, the cheese wontons are gooey on the inside and crispy on the outside. Truly delicious! It takes less than 15 minutes every time to get our food; the cooks always do a great job at making sure things are cooked well and that things taste great, while also being conscious of whether customers are in a rush. Also, the bathrooms are SO clean and go along with the beachy casual vibe of the restaurant, which plays the top hits on the radio. I have nothing less than positive comments about Fire. I’m a loyal customer and the staff members are something I always look forward to seeing on my lunch break!!!

Thai Express – Menu with Prices – 15686 N Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd Suite E-3, Scottsdale

I had seen Thai Express and today the timing worked out perfectly when I was at Target at lunchtime and was starved. Their set up is a lot like Zoe’s Greek and Pei Wei – and the food is as good if not better! I loved the veggie spring roll starter and tofu veggie stir fry with basil sauce (one of 5 or 6 sauces they have to chose from). The staff was awesomely helpful and made sure that everyone in the restaurant was happy with their meal. The ‘fixins bar’ with a few self serve sauces and toppings was a nice addition as was the fun and upbeat Asian inspired music. It’s clean with fresh and healthy meals – sounds like a win-win to me!

Siamese Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 4352 W Olive Ave, Glendale

My roommate needed a night out so we came here since I was also craving thai. They had great reviews and it seemed pretty cheap, so obviously I had to give them a try. The restaurant doesn’t look like much from outside and it doesn’t look like much when you go in either. It’s not a fancy place for sure. My roommate was a little concerned since we were the only ones there. I still had faith. My roomie started with the spring rolls, which was basically egg rolls, and I ordered a thai ice tea. To me, spring rolls are not deep fried but are sticky rice paper. Had I ordered this, I would have been really disappointed. I didn’t try the egg roll but from what I could see inside it, it probably wouldn’t have been something I would have liked anyways. I saw mostly glass noodles and what I would assume was cabbage. If you have read any of my past reviews, we know how I feel about this. The thai ice tea was really good. I would guess based on how it came out and past experience it’s from a bottle and probably not house made. Still good though. For my entree, I order the pad thai. I was really happy about the fact that they have the pad thai here come with both shrimp and chicken and for a really cheap price. I asked for my dish to be hot and probably should have asked for it to be thai hot, which was the hottest option she gave me. Hot wasn’t hot at all for me. I would say it had a little kick but when I eat thai food, I like it to be really hot. There was a lot of food and a more than reasonable amount of meat. The shrimp and chicken was cooked perfectly. This was honestly the best tasting pad thai I’ve ever had. I plan on going back in the next week or two to get more pad thai. My roommate ordered a curry dish and he said he loved it. If you haven’t been here, it’s definitely worth a trip. Thank you Yelpers for pulling through on this place.

The Similans Thai Eatery – Menu with Prices – 13005 Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy, Fairfax

I had my first taste of Thai food 15 years ago: Pad See Ew with Beef at a Thai chain (which will remain unnamed), and my taste buds did somersaults at the first bite. But after 15 years of trying Thai here and trying it there, it began to taste about the same. Then came Similans. The best Thai I’ve had in years! On a recent snowy day, we ordered delivery – Pad See Ew with beef (can you tell this is my standard?), Hawaiian Fried Rice, Crispy Rolls, and Party Wings. Within an hour, the food was at our door and everything tasted fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The Pad See Ew is some of the best I’ve had in years. Every ingredient – rice noodles, Chinese broccoli, egg, and beef strips – is cooked perfectly on its own and together, the dish comes together beautifully. As many times as I’ve had this dish, it’d been a long time since I’d enjoyed like that. A must! The Hawaiian Fried Rice was a really nice surprise. The curry was light, not at all overpowering, which was important for a rice dish that already has a lot going on, packed with chicken, shrimp, pineapples, cashews, and veggies. A wonderful, comfort dish. The crispy rolls were as good as any you’d find elsewhere, but the wings were pretty special – crispy skin, tender meat, slathered in a sticky sweet and spicy sauce that begs you to lick your fingers. I may have just found my new Thai obsession.

Sen Yai Sen Lek Thai – Menu with Prices – 2422 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis

I’ve visited this place several times; love the atmosphere and friendly service. Great place to enjoy some Thai food while hanging out with friends. Food(***): the menu has pretty much all typical Thai dishes besides additional options for vegetarians and gluten-free. +Thai ice tea is a Must with a nice ratio between milk and tea. +For an appetizer, I ordered Taohoo Tod: the tofu was crunchy and fresh, which is a big plus. Though the dipping sauce is a bit much of vinegar on the first bite. +For the main dish, I got Laab with chopped pork. All the Thai flavors (spicy, sour, and sweet) were there. The pork was nice with some fat mixed with fresh purple and green onion and lemongrass. I just wish it has a little less of the sauce at the bottom so the overall taste stays more consistent. +A perfect way to finish a Thai meal is having Khao Neow Mamuang (sweet sticky rice with mango); their sticky rice was good though the mango could be a bit riper. Service(****): Their service is very good: extremely friendly and fast. The food came out within 15 minutes on a Saturday night. Atmosphere(***): Pictures and interior paint made me feel like I am back in an Asian country. Though the fish deco hanging on the wall doesn’t fit within the Thai theme. Nice open bar and big opening window at the entrance.

Thai Bistro – Menu with Prices – 4325 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh

I love Thai Food and have been to many Thai Resturants, including two stays in Thailand. I was looking for a quick place to grab a bite and noticed the Thai Bistro. While located in a shopping mall I had great hopes that I would find a gem in the food court. The store front is very appealing. The workers are very friendly. The samples of the chicken flow across the counter. The chicken over all tastes good, but not really Thai. Adding some cilantro, lemon grass, fish sauce and some Thai chilies to the mix would certainly improve upon the authenticity. The Singapore Noodles and lo mein are bland. Over all it is not that different than the Mandarin Express four spaces to the left. Bring in some of the real Thai flavors and the place might be a hit. As it stands the place sells some good stir-fried chicken, but more fast food Chinese than Thai.
