The most unexpected gem ever: fresh, delicious Mexican food, cooked and served by two kindly abuelitas in the most run-down, depressing Valero gas station and store you ever saw. PROS: Fresh, spicy salsa, home-made chips and tortillas, and lean tender beef in the burritos. (I had shredded beef; mi amiga had carne asada—-we each pronounced our food excellent.). Reasonable prices and they do accept credit cards. CONS: Only Mexican beers and crappy American beers on sale in the store. NO TOILET PAPER OR PAPER TOWELS IN THE FILTHY RESTROOMS. But definitely a rustic and delicious experience! Joe Bob says check it out if you ever find yourself in this remote neck o’ the woods.

La Gusgueria – Menu with Prices – 14680 Wallisville Rd, Houston

I loved this place! I had a mangonada and we tried their funnel cake and it was delicious! They have many treats I have never tried but they have ice cream and Mexican frozen pops too. I like that it was clean and the people there are really nice. I will definitely go back. They accept debit/ credit cards if the transaction is over $5 and they do not accept bills larger than $50.

Z&C Relax Massage – Menu with Prices – 500 Inland Center Dr, San Bernardino

When I first called there they told me they have private rooms and they took all credit cards. When I arrive there they took me to the back of their shop to a private room. The therapist that worked on me was LiLi…She was very warm caring therapist..and very professional.. Unfortunately the Private room was not private. They never close the door and the employees came in six different times to get hot rocks and towels out of the warming machine on the counter..I was very disappointed and for that reason I won’t go back. After the service was over I went to pay the bill. But remember I first told you they indicated they take all credit cards they don’t take American Express.. If the room is really private for the time I was there and they took all credit cards like they said they did I would become a regular weekly customer because of the therapist that worked on me was one of the best I’ve ever experienced…

new orleans seafood – Menu with Prices – 14814 Kinsman Rd #4840, Cleveland

Did not accept credit cards even though the door and window had the signs of the major credit cards. Also, they move really slow. 10 minutes felt like 30. Definitely, my first and last time eating there.

Bimbo Bakeries USA – Menu with Prices – 3232 Chelton Cir, Colorado Springs

I see someone is saying this store does not take cards and that is bullshit I have been going to this store for close to 8 years now and they do take debit and credit cards! I love this store the prices are great you can eat better healthier breads for what you would pay for a cheaper bread if you go here and the people are friendly and helpful.

Pure Water Ice & Tea Company – Menu with Prices – 404 Frankford Ave, Lubbock

I have been very disappointed in the upkeep of this location in the last month or two. Numerous times Iâ??ve visited and counters are dirty. The worst has been the bathroom. Have been in on more than one occasion that the toilet is disgusting. Thereâ??s been no soap and/or paper towels. Dead roaches on the floor. And today when my daughter went in there was no toilet paper to use; there were napkins though, so Iâ??ll at least give an â??Aâ?? for effort. I feel that what the public areas of a business look like show a lot about how they likely care about the back. Iâ??d really like to start seeing some improvement on the cleanliness or we will take our business elsewhere.

Gary’s No Frills – Menu with Prices – 7 Base Line Rd E, London

Products: It is a discount grocery store, so they carry very few organic products whether fresh or processed. Since this store is part of the Loblaw’s group, it would be better if they carried more PC products. Stock availability: Sometimes it’s much too low. More than once the fresh meat department has been completely out of a protein. Occasionally there will be no chicken, or no pork. None. This has also happened in the produce department. It’s not acceptable to be completely out of lettuce or parsley. Appearance: They could improve their signage significantly. It frequently happens that there is no indicator of the sale price of the products on the end shelves. Same thing for the large pallets in front of the frozen food section. You have to look so hard for the price tag that it makes one wonder whether they are sticking stuff on a pallet that *isn’t* on sale because they know that people will conclude it’s on sale merely because it’s on the pallet so they’ll buy it even if they don’t know the price. Services: no lotto or wine shop but they have good prices on cut flowers. Loyalty options: you can accumulate PC points here. They recently disallowed Visa cards, no doubt because the PC credit card is MasterCard. They do not price match to other stores. Service: Most times there are fewer than three people in line at a time. The cashiers are reasonably efficient.

Taqueria La Providencia – Menu with Prices – 206 S Madison Ave, Dallas

This is one of those “hidden places” that need more advertising because the food is so good. The food is by far one of the best home made mexican recipes, Cooked by actual Mexican ladies and you can see them hard at work in the taquerias kitchen. I always come about twice a week to get my “huevos a la mexicana” & it always hits the spot. Coffee is acceptable & in addition the coffee is served with real milk. By the way, They do accept Credit Cards. I have been paying with it many times. If you have any questions just call their number & they do answer.

Taco L1000000 – Menu with Prices – 2080 Favor Rd SW, Marietta

WORST SERVICE EVER! They messed up my whole order and when I asked for my money back, they refused to give me my money back. It was the worst experience ever! It was on the receipt that I had ordered 12 tacos & they had only given me 10. When I went back to show them, the b**** was telling me that she had given me free tacos, but I paid for 12 and only received 10. Then the b***** gets mad at me for giving my order to someone else when that’s her job to be checking the orders. On top of that their dining area is always full of flies! I’m pretty sure they do this quite often since they don’t accept credit cards only cash. So this is what happens when it comes to situations like this. To them it’s screw the customer. If they would’ve accepted credit cards I could’ve easily dealt with my bank to get my money back, but since they only take cash this is why I believe they do this often. If you want professional Mexican food I’d recommend Tortas Locas. Don’t get sick off this bullsh**! I would give it no stars but since it’s required I have to put one which they don’t even deserve!!!!

Tai Chi Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 5414 Walnut Ave, Irvine

The worst service experience I have never had before!!!! Tonight, I was going to Taichi to buy their Wonton soup which was today’s special dish offer. When I gave them my credit card to pay the order, the male cashier Wang said: ” We do NOT accept credit cards under $20, especially your order is a dinner special.” What!? Why was I DISCRIMINATED against because of ordering a dinner special and pay by credit card??????? Then, I went to check my purse if I had enough cash, but I did not find any. So, I told them I did not have cash, and when your restaurant posted menu in group, you guys did not mention do not accept credit card under $ 20 anywhere, even in the front desk of the restaurant, there is nowhere customers can find this notice. Unfortunately, this cashier Huang did not explain anything to me. Instead, he said Impatiently and Rude: ” It is COMMON SENSE in American like you go to the 99 Ranch market, they won’t accept, either.” What the Heck!? Then, he started to service other customers who were behind me and just IGNORED me. After I stood there embarrassed about 3 mins, he asked me to transfer the amount to his BOA account by Zelle. Finally, I got my food which was needed to bring to church. Actually, I hate spreading negative inform and rarely give a bad review. However, the cashier in Taichi made it! Good job cashier Wang! (1) If you think people who order today’s special dish are cheap, no cash in pocket and have to pay by credit card even under $20, please mention it early or do not offer today’s special, I won’t be angry (2) If you are afraid the bank will charge your boss the transaction fee by using a credit card, I am willing to pay that several cents for my order. Customers going to your restaurant is for service and pay for it, not for being charged!

Veronica’s Bakery Inc. – Menu with Prices – 906 Post Ave, Staten Island

This is a pretty good little Mexican bakery makes fresh Mexican pastries which you might find in a typical bakery just some are different but you gotta try cause there pretty good. They have like different sweet breads from strawberry, vanilla, chocolate and even a sweet type called guava. There bread pudding is pretty good, they have sweet pastries and also basic little breads and cookies and my favorite CHOLOS ! Omgosh I love these, there fried long cinnamon pastries that are so good dipped in like chocolate or just by themselves. They also bake and make special cakes if ordered and they serve breakfast and lunch from chorizo and eggs to tacos and tortas! There bread is so fresh and soft! Prices are pretty good and cheap and you also have small tables that you can eat by. They take orders and the workers are really nice and helpful. They accept both cash and credit cards but the parking can really suck because it sure can get busy in there!

Nordstrom Ebar Artisan Coffee – Menu with Prices – 102 Caruso Ave, Glendale

This cafe is on the first floor of Nordstroms. The coffee actually isn’t bad. I thought it’d be shitty gas station coffee, but it’s better than Starbucks (albeit not as good as Coffee Bean). The prices were in line with what you’d expect at this kind of place, and the service was friendly and fast. There’s some seating inside, but really you want to sit outside and people watch. Just be careful no one steals your credit cards. Recently these dudes stole some woman’s credit cards who was sitting outside at the Cheesecake Factory. One guy put a jacket over her purse while the other stole her cards and used them to buy gift cards at Nodstroms. Be careful, everyone. Sad to see shady shit happening in Glendale, but that’s just life. Although I’m not exactly sure how that gift card scam works. I mean, can’t Nodstroms just cancel those gift cards? You’d assume every gift card has its own unique number. If they know what credit card was used to buy the gifts cards, can’t they just cancel those gift cards? I wonder what the thieves are gonna do with the gift cards. Try to sell them to other people? Use them themselves? I was thinking when someone tried to use the “hot” gift cards, the cashier should pull out a machine gun and shoot them dead. But then my wife pointed out that might not be fair because what if it’s not the thief who uses the gift card? Fair enough. So instead take the person to the storage closet and mercilessly beat them with jumper cables until they divulge where they got the gift cards. I hate thieves.

Las Tapatias Mexican Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 4029 Melrose Ave NW, Roanoke

Used to love this place, however today was not good. The beer was good and the server gave us napkins which was great! However the food was not. We had tostadas de ceviche with shrimp (which is usually delicious) today the shrimp was dry and hard. I couldn’t take more than a few bites the shrimp was so bad. We got a sausage cheese dip and some steak/sausage tacos and the sausage was burnt in both dishes. They must have been super busy today because there was no toilet paper or paper towels. I hope this is not a trend. Never had a bad meal here before today and was one of my first choices in Salem to eat! I will update my review if things improve.
