We were so excited when they opened their new location that we raced down to have dinner and a pint. From the beginning we were a little confused on where to park, how to get in, and once in where to sit, how to order, etc. It was super busy so there was no seating and it was super cold so outdoor section was closed and unusable. We spent about 20-30 minutes trying to figure out the lay of the land and ordered pints at the counter but ended up drinking them standing and leaving for food somewhere else. Seating felt like you had to get in a knife fight to get a seat and even after that you may end up sitting next to a small child eating with their hands and feet. This was a 2 star experience at best as I was left scratching my head and resting my forehead on my palm like Homer Simpson for far too long. We came back once the weather had improved and sat outside which was much better as it’s not 100% communal. The ordering system was still a bit clunky but manageable. The beer was as expected but the food was mediocre at best. I understand having challenges at the start but they still seem to not have it figured out 6+ months later. I still have high hopes for Boneyard and will be back sometime in the future at which point I will update my review.

Cakes By William – Menu with Prices – 3290 Suntree Blvd, Melbourne

Not just your standard wedding cake that looks fancy but tastes bland, these cakes are amazing! You have to restrain yourself from shoveling them like Homer Simpson. And the price was surprisingly low as well! Next time anybody in our family/friends gets married, Ferrara gets the call!

Delices de Maurice – Menu with Prices – 22764 Westheimer Pkwy, Katy

Please, in your mind, insert a picture of the drooling Homer Simpson here. Good God! I happened to drive by with my mother and she cried out in joy at seeing the storefront. She made me pull in, though I did not want to, as I’m on a keto diet and was afraid that this place might be legit. I was sorely disappointed when my fears were realized. I knew instantly upon walking in and spying the bakery case that less than a week into my diet, I was going to cheat. And cheat I did. Very, very badly. The opera cake I ordered melted with sweet bitterness in my mouth. My mother’s 3 mousse delicacy was a work of art. And the flirty eyed, French accented owner/pastry chef, I assume, made the experience that much more tempting. Damn you, sir. See you next week.

The Simpsons in 4D (Aztec Theater and Kwik-E-Mart) – Menu with Prices – 1199 Celebrity Cir, Myrtle Beach

Thank god this isn’t twitter where theres only a 140 character limit. Welcome to Gator “kermit” G reviews. This place was so amazing and I felt like Homer himself where I stumbled upon in here with my Lady. The slushy was so amazing and the flavors were amazing. It was so cute like my lady face but ill have to get my lady the edge if i ever wanna get to kiss that face again ? (hi honey :*) The donut was easily amazing as i can challenge the big man Homer himself to a little game of “Lets see how many we can eat in a sitting” but unfortunately they said the big man was out on vacation HUGE Bummer. This place is a must go see and stop in when over on that side. Will be making lots of stops there in the near future. Also, the workers there super nice and friendly and even talked us in to getting a donut to save on the drink. A GRADE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

macon crab house – Menu with Prices – 4690 Presidential Pkwy, Macon

Came here for lunch on a Friday right as they opened. We were seated immediately, not a whole lot of guests but it is still fairly new. I can’t remember our server’s name but she was sweet as can be and an attempt was definitely made. She needed to brush up on her customer service skills a bit more. She was leaning all over the table to indulge in conversation, at one point she began scratching her head right over our glasses…yikes!! We ordered the seafood boil, one hot and one mild. The food came out fast and hot. I shook the bag just to give one last mix before eating the food. After opening the bag, I was underwhelmed…all of the seasoning was at the bottom of the bag like grease and not on the food. The crab legs and shrimp were still good just flavorless. Nothing really exciting or different from all the other seafood places. I say try it and see for yourself.

Granny’s Tamales #4 Annaville – Menu with Prices – 9804 Leopard St, Corpus Christi

Was badass at first but now there’s too much Masa you can’t taste the meat or spinach now and they are either not steamed long enough so the Masa is still raw or they are so dry you can’t swallow it without it scratching your throat I’m disappointed because this was the only place that sold good tamales and I miss eating them ð??

garden district – Menu with Prices – 1801 14th St NW, Washington

Came here for a quick drink while waiting for a reservation at Le Diplomate and this place came thru! We ordered 2 different kinds of beer. I ordered the tiniest size because I was about to eat brunch so I didn’t want to fill myself up with carbs haha. My boyfriend is obsessed with German beer and he really liked this place a lot! The place was a small beer garden in the Logan Circle neighborhood. It’s by a corner street and there are only outside seating so don’t go when it’s raining. There are umbrellas covering the chairs so I guess you can still go when it’s not raining as hard. We sat by the picnic tables connected to the tree and I love people watching from there. I believe you can order wine too. I also saw from other reviews that you can order a whole pigs head barbequed and eat it, LIKE WHAT?! I want to do that, I will update my review when my friends and I do that haha! But it said you have to order in advance because they only cook 2 pig’s heads apparently. This place is definitely great when the weather is nice. Not sure if there are bathrooms but there are fans attached to the door walls that will provide some air during hot weather. Definitely would come back here again to try the other beers and also to try out their food menu (hint: bbq pig’s head)

The Local Oyster Menu with Prices Quarter Market, 4238 Wilson Blvd Level C, Arlington

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at the Newly The Local Oyster Ballston in the Quarter Market. It’s totally cool it’s like a Spiffy Updated Cafeteria type change to the eateries you walk up ask for what you want then sit at a table. The Local Oyster serves premium quality seafood the freshest I’ve ever had . The customer service isn’t comparable to any other seafood places I’ve been to!, The staff members are Very friendly and approachable, whether you’ve had a bad day and need a place to unwind or undecided on an item or two the staff lifts your spirits just in conversation while helping you decide on an option. The Bar staff no matter whom you have are totally entertaining and make Great strong Drinks!!!…They have a Happy Hour on Mondays and Tuesday’s I believe but call to confirm or Stop by!!. Every now and then you may see guys whom are possibly the owners there whom are just as pleasant as the staff!!. Like I said the food is Premium from the Oysters themselves to Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes oh and the Lobster rolls (Homer Simpson drools) on buttery bread heavily. No matter what you have steamed, a side item, Entreé like meal it’s DEFINITELY all worth the Money, Calories and Bellyfullness ? and I’m the hugest, bougie, sceptical, VERY selective in what I eat FoOdie ever esp. About eating everyone’s Catfish!!! soOoO thankfully with this place I have no worries all GRADE A supreme, you won’t regret it at all.

Krispy Krunchy Chicken – Menu with Prices – 4856 Old Redwood Hwy, Santa Rosa

This food had promise but suffers from some fatal flaws, not least of which is service. But first the food. Tried dark meat meal, mashed potato and gravy, and fed beans and rice. First the chicken. Would have been delicious if only the frying oil (which was also wafting in a great cloud in the store) hadn’t been used many many times. Dude, it’s not a car so don’t wait 6 months for a change. The beans were undercooked – almost crunchy – and the gravy… as Marge Simpson would say “The secret ingredient is salt.” As for service, first off, don’t order the meal. It comes with one (1) biscuit which never made it into the bag. Second, never watch what’s going on behind the counter, not if you want to keep an appetite. Watching her wrestle lids and containers, with ungloved hands, using her pink manicured nails to pry them apart, running the surfaces under nails that were hiding godknowswhat – it makes me vomit a little just typing these words. She went from containers of food to the heat lamp to her face and clothes without even washing her hands. So much contamination. Add to that the piles of dirty dishes, the grease in the air… I’ve been to Asian night markets that are far cleaner. So yeah, unless you’re into dare eating, I’d stick with Popeyes.

Good Weather Bicycle & Cafe – Menu with Prices – 1424 11th Ave, Seattle

This place is amazing and accommodates every skill level. I recently just purchased a used bike from a friend, I haven’t ridden a bike in almost 20 years. I brought my bike into Good Weather and met Jason. He was so helpful, adjusting the saddle and replacing a tube for me and giving the bike an overall inspection. He recognized right away that I needed a new front derailleur and gave me some very helpful tips on purchasing a used one. There is a great cafe and nice outdoor seating. They have an awesome selection of items for retail so I can customize my bike, I’ll definitely be back. Finding Good Weather really helped boost my confidence in getting back on a bike. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at good weather. I rode around Capitol Hill yesterday with a friend, and had a wonderful time. Thanks Jason & Good Weather!

Yunikon Nail Bar – Menu with Prices – 3813 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena

Hmm I am torn about this review. But it comes down to the service of the pedicure. Of course I only go to one person for my manicure. But they were busy so I had to go with something else. First things first. 5 stars for service and attitude. 2 stars for quality and skill. I was surprised I was able to get a last minute appointment on a Friday afternoon at 5pm. I arrived and there was only one other customer. In my head I was like whaattttt. Lucky me. Guess everyone’s out of town… little did I know.. it was because of how not skilled the technicians were. I sat down and got the LUX pedicure. It’s $40. Def pricey AF. But you get all the bells and whistles and the place looked super cute so.. I said why not. Everything was amazing until the polish. They do a exfoliating scrub, feet mask, lotion, extra massage, callous removal and other stuff. But when Jennifer started painting my nails… straight up disaster! It was one of those moments were you started like sweating because of how bad the job was. And you don’t know whether to say something or not… but I was trying to remain calm during the whole process to see if she would redeem herself by fixing the polish. First of all she put on the base coat like a volcano was erupting down the street and we had to bone the eff out. Butchered. Painted it all over even on skin. I am super super super picky about nails… and cmon painting perfectly on toes is basic basic basic. And then came the nail polish… geeeebussss it was so bad. Painted all over cuticles. I was freaking out in my head but didn’t say anything yet cause I thought she would clean off everything at the end. But nope. She was like you can do out tonight! And in my head I was like yeah not with these ratchet ice cream paint job feet. It was so bad… polish all in between cuticles. Anyways Jasmine helped me fix it! She fixed it the best she could. It was way better! However she’s young and I feel like she hasn’t gotten much experience yet cause there were still some flaws. But I could live with it. Anyways, I really enjoyed the salon… I enjoyed all the services until the paint process. If you were to try this place cause of an emergency, make sure you get jasmine! I think she’s decent. She also helped me take off my acrylic and did a manicure for me that was done pretty well… I didn’t get a gel manicure with her yet. Yeah so my total there was $91 with tax tip for a pedicure and manicure (and keep in mind no color on nails… just removal of acrylic and cleaning)… prob won’t return. PS: Oh andddddd she took my card cause I said I’d pay first. She left my card flipped up at the cash register and some lady was standing there paying… I mean at least flip it down so my card numbers are just for the world to see… -_-

Poke Tiki – Newport Mesa – Menu with Prices – 488 E 17th St A-105, Costa Mesa

This is the best poke place I’ve ever tasted. I love how they let you sample the fish and sauces and the quality of fish is amazing. I especially love the tuna and spicy salmon. I wish that I could give a 5 star review but when I went in most recently there was a giant white dog that wasn’t even on a leash!! The dog was shedding hair constantly and even tried to put its head in the ice cream refrigerator but the employee moved its head out of the container (with his bare hands) and then put gloves on to fill our bowls (without washing his hands!!) I will still come back because I love the flavor and quality but kind of wanted to gag thinking about all the dog hair and was afraid to see a giant dog without a leash. I’ve been a few times and this was my only disappointing experience. Also props to always having excellent customer service.

Lahmajune Factory – Menu with Prices – 1139 E Broadway, Glendale

I have been here a few times and have enjoyed it each time, with a few things they can improve on. The service is great. The staff is very friendly and always offer to heat it up if I’d like to eat it there. They have a variety of options available. I always get the Lahmajune and the Borek. The Lahmajune can be a hit or miss as sometimes it’s really good but sometimes the flavor balance seems off. I have always enjoyed the borek. One thing that can be improved is covering the food or keeping it somewhere it can stay fresh. The borek and other bread is left out for display, but I don’t know how long it has been sitting there and there was one time I saw a fly flying around and landing on the food. It didn’t leave a good taste in my mouth to see them take borek that I ordered and put it in a bag for me. Another thing that can be improved is the temperature. I asked to heat up the borek since I was taking it to go but eating it right away, but when I took a bite into the borek it was still a little cold. Overall, it is still my go-to Lahmajune and borek spot as the food is generally good, and it is also convenient location-wise. It would be an amazing spot if what was mentioned above were improved.
