I love Bento restaurants, as much as I love living in Gainesville. I loved this location when I first visited a few weeks ago. However, on a rainy evening tonight – it was a complete disappointment. I understand that the orders can take longer as it was completely packed (long line and customers standing around throughout the hall to be seated), but I do not get how food can get undercooked (hard and chewy udon noodle) and cold (tempura shrimp was almost under the room temperature). Most disappointing aspect was the response done by the kitchen staff for Japanese curry (for curry pork katsu bowl) for my order – it was extremely watery. I believe someone decided to add more water to the near empty curry sauce pot due to high demand, resulting watered down curry. When I asked for an explanation, the hall server staff member told me I will be provided with another curry. We waited for 15 minutes without being told that it was going to take longer – when it finally came to us, our food was already cold and no longer crunchy. We wish they told us in advance. Again, taking longer to cook for each order due to high volume of customers is completely understandable. However what I have difficult time to tolerate is the practice of willing to sacrifice the quality to meet the excess of demand, just to get by one shift. I really hope this change for the restaurant soon, so I can come back again in the near future.

The Kookaburra – Menu with Prices – 647 A1A Beach Blvd, St. Augustine

Their pies are delicious but unfortunately their business management and customer service are highly lacking. We arrived at 1pm and they were completely out of all their pies, including their lunch pies. This was highly disappointing for us as we live in St Pete and were on holiday in Palm coast. We made a special trip just to get one of their pies. If it was late, I could be more understanding, but 1 pm is still early. We asked the staff if they could call one of their other locations for us to see if they had any pies available, but the staff said they could not and that their are no phones at the other locations. Seriously? What year are we living in? So we left and took our chances and went to the 4265 A1A S location. Luckily they did have pies left at this location and the pies were delicious. However, if business management and customer service do not improve, we can not recommend this place. It comes down to simple supply and demand. They need to increase the supply in order to meet the demand by customers. Also, they need to be able to be in contact with one another and with their customers. We live in a digital age and communication is key.

Vegan On The Go – Menu with Prices – 5552 NW 31st Ave, Fort Lauderdale

This place has amazing food, but the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. This is the 3rd time in a row that I?ve had a bad experience in house. They incredibly disorganized and they take over an hour to get your food out even if you are the only customer they have. The staff is very rude and forgetful, they have messed up my order the last three times I?ve been here and I still came back today because I genuinely love the food, but after this experience I will never be back again. I was the first customer in at 12:57pm and I was told that my food would take about 20 minutes, since they were just getting set up (mind you, they open at 11am). Fine, no problem, I wait 25 minutes and walk back inside to get my food and not only is it not ready, there?s a group of other customers who came in after me who are also waiting on their food. I waited for over an hour and right in front of my face, they gave other orders priority. Instead of tending to the customers who had been patiently waiting for their food, they made the decision to serve everyone who just arrived first and keep us waiting even longer. When I brought up the issue to the staff, they offered no solutions and one girl even rolled her eyes and walked away. They gave 4 different people their orders who had just walked in and told me to keep waiting. They completely lost track of who came in when and were rude on top of that. Every restaurant makes mistakes, but this was over the top and poorly handled by the staff. After an hour and a half, I finally got my food, only for my order to be WRONG. Don?t come here unless you have hours of your day that you can block out. The best part is that the store is uncomfortably hot and they have 3 chairs available so we can were just standing around the whole time.

Washington Hall Catering Menu with Prices 2860 Washington Rd, Augusta

This year we decided to hold our company Christmas party at Washington Hall. The staff was nothing short of amazing. I arrived early to see if there was anything I could help with, and when I walked in everything was completely done! The decorations were beautiful and the food was AMAZING. Thank you to the entire staff at Washington Hall for all of your hard work. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will be returning!

Bikaner Indian Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 2427 W Airport Fwy, Irving

Drove 15 miles to eat dal bati. Walked in for lunch, and there was no one to tell us what to do, where to go, or how to order. There was just one guy running around trying to take care of everything. We were then told after about 5 minutes that there is a lunch buffet, and we can’t order anything from the menu. At the same time, I can hear people placing their orders for chola batura to the SAME guy. No idea why we were told we can’t do that. Anyway, we go get food from the buffet counter, but there is no rice, bread, or Naan. We go back to our table and wait for the Naan while the food gets cold. After 10 minutes we get 4 small pieces of Naan,which we promptly devour in a couple of minutes. At this point, we again wait for more Naan for about 10 minutes. So now we have to go get more food because everything is now cold. Keep in mind we had walked in to get dal bati and were told only the buffet is available. So it’s surprising when the same guy offers dal bati to some other customers. At this point I can hear other customers complaining about having to wait for half an hour without food. Anyway, we go to the counter to pay and I ask the same guy if they had dal bati (considering they served it to a customer behind me). I am then told that they do not have anything except the buffet, and that everything else is served only for dinner. Cost me 15 bucks for a buffet I didn’t want to eat, and was cold. Do I sympathize with my brown brother? Yes. Do they need to overhaul their entire system and hire more people? ABSOLUTELY. Tl;dr long waits, cold food, mismanaged – not worth it.

Thai Bistro – Menu with Prices – 2055 28th St SE #9, Grand Rapids

I used to eat at this restaurant all of the time. I actually have always loved the food, but the service over the years has either been meh, just okay or so bad you’d think you’re on candid camera. One time I took a group of friends here and we walked out after the waiter asked us not to order the salad because cutting up all of the carrots was too much work. Seriously, that actually did happen. Normally I would never go back after that, but they are the only Thai place nearby open on a Sunday and again, the food tastes good. Tried ordering take out tonight. I adore their peanut curry dish. First the guy repeats back peanut supreme, so thought he misheard me. Repeat it and was told peanut curry is no longer on the menu. So bummed! Asked again in case it was a mistake and he said it has not been on it for several years. Lies! I called him out on it and said I’d had it as recently as last year and he changed his story to last year…it’s still listed on the menu though btw. Told them I’d call back because I wasn’t sure what to order. Decided on the massaman curry. He told me they don’t do that anymore either. Now I’m more annoyed than normal. No massaman curry at a Thai place? Also still on the menu!! So I settle and order yellow curry. He asked if I had rice at home to make myself. Why am I even calling this place??!! I told him to cancel the order. Ridiculous and shame on me for not seeing it coming considering past experiences there. Do not go here. This place is THE worst!

Panda Express – Menu with Prices – 4433 W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing

I give this place 3 stars because they have a drive thru and they are pretty fast with the food normally however there has been times when there completely out of egg rolls or something else that is in high demand plus there portions when you order a plate is very small at timeS they pretty much give you one scoop and try to make it look like two. The people that work drive thru are sometimes rude and seem like they just wanna get you to leave. Also forget stuff in the bag and make u have to run inside even tho u have gone thru the drive thru for a reason. There orange chicken is all I ever get there and sometimes it’s awesome enough sauce and small pieces of chicken other times I’m fighting to cut the chicken up to even fit it in my mouth it’s ridiculous. Really need to focus more on making sure the chicken isn’t the size of a corn dog before serving it to customers, all around it’s a nice please other then some slight changes that need to be made. As for being good for kids my kids used to love this place till one of my kids couldn’t eat the chicken due to not being able to fit it in his mouth

Little India – Menu with Prices – 402 Cherry St, Macon

I have waited to complete 3 visits before writing this review…. food is good compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. If you love buffets then this is a wonderful place to go. My main problem with this place is service! You will wait a good 10-15 minutes just to get a menu (if you don’t do the buffet), then another 10-15 to get drinks and to place your order. My husband and I were meeting another couple for lunch. They had a appointment an hour and half from the time I placed their order (which was before they arrived from WR) 10 minutes after the second couple arrived we inquired about the food and asked how much longer it would be. I was told that the “cook is to busy with buffet food” and our food would be out shortly. So I asked to please check and see how much longer it was going to take. He preceded to walk away and clean tables. This type of behavior is not acceptable in the US, it maybe acceptable in India but not here. I’m very disappointed in this type of service since I love good Indian food. I would not have written this except this type of service is normal for this establishment. I also noticed other customers getting up and getting glasses and menus for themselves because servers don’t do their job.

PepperJax Grill – Menu with Prices – 3200 N 27th St, Lincoln

My wife and I tried to go here last night. As we pulled into the parking lot, we could see that the drive thru seemed busy based on the number of vehicles in line. That said, we decided to go in and place our order to go. Once inside, we go straight to the counter to place our order since we were the only would be customers in line. Despite being the only people in line waiting to place an order, the staff completely ignored us. At no point did a single staff member make an attempt to acknowledge us. Seeing that the staff was busy, most likely with drive thru orders, we cut the staff some slack and waited for several minutes to even be acknowledged. After several long minutes of standing I literally had to wave both hands in the air to try to get any one of the staff members to even look at us. The young man working the grill, who was right in front of us the entire time, looked up and made eye contact with me but simply went about his tasks. I again wave both hands in the air and very rude lady looks at me and says “we’ll get to you”. At this point, we were more than annoyed at the HORRIBLE customer service and walked out and happily took our business elsewhere. It was clear that the staff was busy and visibly frustrated by what appeared to be a rush of orders. I can understand being busy and having to wait my turn, but to be completely ignored is unacceptable. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve experience such blatant disregard for customer service. I hope the management at this location does something about the completely rude Friday evening staff.

Ala Thai East – Menu with Prices – 6663 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery

I ordered the panang curry and it blew my mind. I love panang and order it at every Thai place I go to. I also love Thai and ate it everyday for lunch last summer. This place had some of the best I have had. The only weird thing is it’s served on a bunch of crispy won tons. I was disappointed when I saw it but they ended up being really good. They soaked up the curry well and therefore tasted fantastic. Also they didn’t get immediately soggy so you still got some crunch. Also the curry was mostly all meat. I hate when you pay $10 for curry sauce over potatoes with a piece of meat or two. This was all chicken with the occasional bell pepper mixed in. Finally, the staff was super friendly. They made sure we knew they delivered pretty much anywhere within half an hour and kept inviting us back. I would have gone back even if the curry was mediocre just because of how cool they were. I would knock a star because I paid $11+ for a relatively small portion of curry, but that’s the going rate for Thai food unfortunately. I was a little begrudging initially, but I’ll be forking over a lot more money the next time we go.

Ukrainian American Civic Center – Menu with Prices – 205 Military Rd, Buffalo

I’m so glad Yelp finally added the Uki Hall. I submitted it several times and it never got added. It’s a great venue and definitely deserves to be represented on Yelp. Swing Buffalo hosts events at Uki Hall quite frequently and we love it. The hall is reasonably price for rentals. The staff is so friendly and pleasant to work with. The bar area is comfortable. And the front room has additional tables as well as a pool table. Plus the bathrooms are consistently clean. The back hall is a fantastic space. Great floor for dancing. It’s got a stage. The lighting is nice. You have tables or not. It has a separate entrance if needed. So it’s great for pretty much any kind of event you’d want a hall for. Of course, I haven’t even mentioned the food yet. You do need to make sure you eat some of Pani H.’s food. We’re talking some of the best pierogis in Buffalo. My favorite thing is this beer, sauerkraut, bean salad that is so good. Uki Hall is a private club so you do need a member sponsor to go. But give them a call. They love sponsoring people. And you couldn’t be supporting a nicer venue with nicer people.

Best Buy – Headquarters – Menu with Prices – 7601 Penn Ave S, Minneapolis

Two days ago I ordered the new AirPods pro from Best Buy online, and it said they WOULD be delivered by the 31st which is today. It did not say should, or that they might, it said that they would be delivered by today, and I even got a confirmation email that also stated that they would be delivered by today, the 31st. I waited all day for them, and then I received an email with the tracking number so I looked that up and it said that they would not be sent for another four days. I decided to contact Best Buy through online chat to see if I could get some sort of compensation for the delay. Upon explaining the situation to the first rep, they told me that the AirPods are in high demand, and that?s why they were delayed, and then they promptly ended the chat before I could respond. I then had the exact same experience two more times, but the last representative told me that they could give me a five dollar in store credit, but then they also ended the chat with me before I could respond. At this point I decided to call and actually talk to a rep. I called in, explained the situation, told them that I had already chatted with three different people, and that each of them had disconnected from me. She then told me that my order was delayed due to high demand. I told her that I understand that, but the website and my confirmation email both said that I guaranteed would have them by today. She then told me that there isn?t anything that she could do, and I told her that I?m just trying to get some kind of compensation. She said that they could not compensate me in any way. I told her that the rep I had chatted with before I called had offered me a five dollar in store credit, but she said that she was looking at the transcripts and didn?t see anything about that, and that they could not compensate me in any way. At this point I asked if I could speak to a manager. She said that they would just tell me the same thing, and that she didn?t want to waste my time. I said that I would still like to talk to a manager. She said that she would put me on hold for a minute and then get me connected to the next available manager. She then put me on hold for ten minutes, picked back up (I heard chatter on the other end of the line), and then she hung up on me without saying a word. When I called back again, the answering machine said it was after hours and I would have to call back tomorrow. In summary, I chatted with three different online reps and each of them disconnected from me (by the way, when the rep disconnects from you, it automatically closes the chat window, not giving you any chance to save any information) and then I talked on the phone with a rep who ended up hanging up on me rather than connecting me to their manager. All I was seeking was some form of compensation for the delayed delivery time

Just Pho…and more Menu with Prices 1063 Baxter St, Athens

My visit was based on other reviews, and my desire to try this restaurant. I have had Pho before and found this Pho was good. I agree with some of the other reviews that the service was less than desirable. I had to wait for about 5 minutes to get into the door. Then about 5 minutes to get a table. Took a little time to get my order taken. Took longer to get my food. Even longer to get get someone to get dessert. The Pho didnâ??t come with my sprouts, basil, etc. But, I didnâ??t want to wait to get that, because my pho would have been cold, so I enjoyed it hot. I had the Mango ice cream, recommended by the waiter. It was not very good. I will return on another day. This was Saturday mid afternoon, so maybe that was the issue.
