Initially I brought lunch but forgot to bring a fork. So I was just gonna go buy food. It was a mission coming here.. First things first…. I did not know it was a good truck until I actuallly looked at the yelp pics and reviews . Just saw good reviews for Mexican and I’m there . Lol drove around and was like where the heck is it. Ended up at the newly built homes. Read the reviews some more and someone said it moved down the street and I’m like okay….. which direction… Then I saw a truck and was like oh yay I found it.. then I saw it say cash only……. and I didn’t have any cash. Then saw next to it a store with ATM . Lol okay cool. But then I realized it wasn’t the right truck… so I left to look for it again…. and then found it parked a block away at this small private car dealership. And remembered it was cash only here too.. damn it again! Left to the original truck to get money from the store . And once I pulled out cash and went back into my car …. I saw that I had a fork in my middle console area … and I just stared at the stupid fork in disbelief.. “WHY DIDNT U MAKE YOURSELF NOTICEABLE BEFORE I PULLED OUT MONEY AND PAID THE $3 ATM FEE!?!? Whatever ! Too much time spent for this already ! gotta get tacos” Anyways ! That’s my little rant…. NOW ! For the I M P O R T A N T P A R T !! T A C O S !!! Al Pastor Tacos with Everything on it ! – man it was worth it !!! Came with a slice of pineapple , picked carrots, jalapeño, lime, little grilled baby onion. Omg . The tacos were so greasy and delicious ! So worth the trouble lol. Damn you universe .

Academy Minimarket – Menu with Prices – 515 Peters Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem

Tacos, tacos, tacos! Being new to Winston, I’ve been in the hunt for good tacos. I have tried a few places in and around town and off of Waughtown Road, but these are the BEST tacos I have found in Winston. The place is quaint. It’s a mini mart with a taco truck in the parking lot. At first, I wasn’t sure if the truck was open or not, but the friendly lady at the truck assured me it was. Let me be clear – This is not a restaurant and there are not any places to sit. You will get your food in a nicely packed to-go box and bag and have to haul it off somewhere to eat. (Note: I was so excited that I ate my tacos in my car in the parking lot.) I paid for my food inside the store and went out to the truck in the parking lot with my receipt to place my order. An order of 4 tacos runs about $6. I had the carnitas, barbacoa, and asada tacos and they were GREAT! Double tortillas warmed on the grill with fantastic meats, topped with onions and cilantro. My to-go box even had a little salad with cucumber, lettuces, limes and a spicy avocado salsa. I cannot wait to head back here for more TACOS!

Valuetinas Pizza Menu with Prices 2536 W Lincoln Ave #6432, Anaheim

Was doubled charged. I paid through on-line, and tipped. When my pizza was delivered; the delivery man wanted cash. He was was suspicious looking to me; not trusting; sloppy looking, almost disappointing a delivery man appeared unkept in appearance delivering food. He gave me a torn sheet of college-ruled paper and said he wanted cash for the pizza, chicken wings & liter of Pepsi I ordered. I told him I paid on-line. He said No! I need cash. I said “I don’t have cash only card.” He frowned and went to his truck and pulled out his card phone application to accept my payment. I paid again. And tipped him $4.00. When my card statement came in I was doubled charged 54.00. I called the manager and he said he will will make a delivery to my home to repay me back. I should know this is to good to be true. He did not. Luis you blew it.

Soulful Twist – Menu with Prices – 913 N 8th St, Wilmington

I had high expectations for this truck. Ordered pulled pork tacos and fries. I asked what type and size of fries were, the people inside the truck had looks of shear panic. Finally found out they were standard type medium size. I asked for them to be crisp. Four tacos, 1 order of fries was $17.00 Not bad if the quality was there. Taco shells standard 6 inch size had less than a tablespoon of pulled pork on them. I had to really try to know what the pork tasted like. The other items were hard to distinguish, based on the standard item served with pulled pork, I’m guessing it was a cabbage slaw. Again, too small amount to taste. The fries were limp, salty, not very good. I didn’t bother to go back to tell them since my discussion on the fries was not anything I wanted to do again. I would not seek this truck out or choose it from line of truck. Disappointing.

Taco L1000000 – Menu with Prices – 2080 Favor Rd SW, Marietta

WORST SERVICE EVER! They messed up my whole order and when I asked for my money back, they refused to give me my money back. It was the worst experience ever! It was on the receipt that I had ordered 12 tacos & they had only given me 10. When I went back to show them, the b**** was telling me that she had given me free tacos, but I paid for 12 and only received 10. Then the b***** gets mad at me for giving my order to someone else when that’s her job to be checking the orders. On top of that their dining area is always full of flies! I’m pretty sure they do this quite often since they don’t accept credit cards only cash. So this is what happens when it comes to situations like this. To them it’s screw the customer. If they would’ve accepted credit cards I could’ve easily dealt with my bank to get my money back, but since they only take cash this is why I believe they do this often. If you want professional Mexican food I’d recommend Tortas Locas. Don’t get sick off this bullsh**! I would give it no stars but since it’s required I have to put one which they don’t even deserve!!!!

Taco El Chilango Menu with Prices 1716-1728 14th St N, Arlington

This is as close to traditional Mexican street tacos as you’ll find in this area! I rarely give a five star review but here it is. I’m Mexican-American so I have pretty high standards for Mexican food. The meat here is very flavorful, and they don’t skimp on the fillers and tortillas. The servings are pretty big; last time I got four tacos but I was full after just three. The carne asada and chicken tacos were especially food. It’s a food truck so most people take it to-go, but you can eat there at the truck if you want. They also have Mexican sodas on offer. The guys who run the truck are super friendly too, and don’t worry they speak English and there are also menus in English and Spanish. Cash only.

Tacos Garcilita Menu with Prices 6201 S Congress Ave, Austin

Awesome little truck with some authentic breakfast tacos! Note, it’s CASH ONLY! They have the usual combination of egg breakfast tacos and salsa, and they taste great! The tortillas are nice and soft and seem to be homemade. The tacos are made to order, but they come out pretty quick. They also serve lunch tacos, but I haven’t personally tried them yet. It’s also in a lot that has a mechanic, so it’s convenient to grab some food if you’re waiting on some maintenance. Definitely recommend!

El Sabor De La Baja – Menu with Prices – 625 H St, Chula Vista

To begin with I LOOOOVE that it’s not cash only. I never have cash and this place takes cards . We went because my fiancé and I were too lazy to drive all the way to tj to get tacos like we usually do and omg I think I found my new favorite place for tacos. We only got fish tacos this time just bc we like to play it safe when trying out a new place BUT hands down the best fish tacos I’ve had in San Diego. The batter was great it was thin and not all thick and overbearing usually I end up removing batter and this time I didn’t have to take any off! For a food truck it was super clean, the three men working were super clean as well and the tables they have set up were also clean and I love that. We will definitely be back and possibly even become regulars, we usually go to tj oaster bar because it’s closer to our home however I think I rather drive the extra distance for some amazing tacos !!

Straight Outta The Grill – Menu with Prices – 10939 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles

I read the other reviews and thought, “Mheh…” maybe these are competitors leaving these bad reviews or maybe it’s overly-sensitive people. Nope. This food truck is as bad as the reviews indicate. I literally just purchased lunch from them, the remnants of which are still warm in my trash can. Where to start? Order a burger, after I paid, I’m told they’re out of tomatoes. Order a quesadilla, after I paid, I’m told they’re out of salsa. Mkay. They were also out of diet coke and NAPKINS! How do you run out of napkins? I mean there’s a certain point where you’ve sold so much, your stock is so depleted, that you just pull that truck away from the curb and call it a day. But the worst part? The burger was raw in the middle. I mean raw! I’m the type of person that orders steaks medium rare, and burgers medium, and I’m telling you that this burger was raw inside! Do not go here. Believe the reviews of those that have gone before.

Taco King Food Truck – Menu with Prices – 4001 N Armenia Ave, Tampa

The Taco King Food Truck is located off North Armenia Avenue, North of i275, 1 block north of where Howard and Armenia merge, next to a Citgo Gas Station, McDonald’s, Advance Auto, and Dunkin Donuts. Although the Taco King Food Truck has set up permanent shop next to the Citgo gas station, there aren’t any picnic tables for sitting or eating nearby and it would definitely be nice to have. I was very disappointed that the Taco King Food Truck took the fish tacos off their menu, did not serve pulled pork, did not serve shrimp, and 2 of their tacos are only served over the weekend from Friday to Sunday. This left me with only 4 types of taco options including Al Pastor, Chroizo, Carne Asada, and Pollo. Since I’m tired of chicken and not a big fan of chorizo, it only left me with 2 options- the Al Pastor and the Carne Asada. Most taco places offer shrimp, pulled pork, flavored steak, and flavored pulled pork tacos. The Al Pastor and Carne Asada tacos were a bit on the small side and he marinade used wasn’t my favorite. The house made orange and green hot sauces helped make up for the marination short comings but the hot sauces were not quite as good as my favorite taco Food Truck Loli’s Mexican Cravings. Aside from tacos, Taco King Food Truck also serves Quesadillas, Burritos, Quesurittos, and Gringa Flour Tortillas. If you’re looking for a better taco food truck, I highly recommend Loli’s Mexican cravings with better marinades, more meat options, and better house made hot sauces. Loli’s Mexican Cravings is mobile though so you’ll have to check their schedule to see when they’re available. If you’re looking for good tacos in the same area north of the interstate I recommend Taqueria Emanuel off North Macdill and West Columbus.

MEXICO BONITO CATERING TRUCK – Menu with Prices – 40648 Fremont Blvd #4305, Fremont

Had to check out the new truck. All of the 5 star reviews made me have to try. Since it was my first time of course I got tacos, 4 of them $8. For $8 at a truck I should leave feeling satisfied right? Nope small street tacos, although a very nice presentation with the spiced onions and definitely Resturante quality I did not leave feeling I got an $8 fill. I think should have came with more meat for spending $8 at a truck on 4 tacos. Maybe should have a deal buy 4 get 1 and fill them. Or a 5 taco plate, nice and full of meat. I’m sure reviews would sky rocket and more people would come. At a truck you look for flavor and expect value and fill. Or at least I do or I’ll just go to a sit down. The meats: (best to last) Al pastor: the best meat I tried, cooked well, cut well, nice and spicy and juicy. He does a great job on this meat. I want to try the burrito with pastor but the burrito is $7 + .50 for all adds, cheese, sour cream, and what ever else. Idk Carne Asada: was pretty decent, I just didn’t have much in my taco to really grasp it. Taco should have been full. Chicken: to my surprise this wasn’t that great, and was cold? usually chicken is a go to easy always good and a staple. Honestly I like my chicken burrito filled with chicken so I look for a balance between taste and qty lol. Over all I give this truck 3.5 stars but this time I round down because I spent $8 and walked away hungry ? Am tempted to try that al pastor burrito but prob won’t be in a rush. Hopefully someone posts a pic and a review on how it was.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 2809 3rd Ave, The Bronx

Horrible. This is the 2nd time I have been shorted food in my order. I paid cash money. Not EBT card payment. Almost $30 cash and i get half my food. Its three orders of food and they require dipping sauce in each order. Why was I given 2 and have to ask for what I paid for? 1st. Time error, 2nd time… no more business from me and I tell my colleagues and family.

Taqueria Sanchez – Menu with Prices – 2609-2699 E 10th St, Sioux Falls

(thesis: eat tacos at Taqueria Sanchez.) (Point 1: Taqueria Sanchez has good tacos) First visit–knew tacos were a must because it’s a *taqueria*. Ordered Barbacoa, Steak, Chicken, Pork tacos, plus a horchata. Were the flavors worth the $5.50 total? Many times over. Excellent simplicity. Meat + Diced onions + Cilantro. Lime & pickled veggies on the side for extra zing. I, a respecter of deliciousness, utilized the lime and enjoyed the pickled veggies’ cool complimenting bites in between tacos–which were the stars of the show. I’m partial to the spicier red salsa, but you’ll want to try the salsa verde as well. It’s really not complicated at all. These tacos are good. (Point 2: you need tacos) Do you have problems in your life? We all do, so take no shame in that reality. Follow-up question: Are you currently holding and/or consuming a taco? You’ll be shocked at how related those two answers can be. (in no particular order) Air, Water, Tacos, Shelter, and Music are prerequisites for basic human needs. There’s no avoiding it: you need tacos. (Point 3: Taqueria Sanchez will sell you tacos) They only take cash, so visit an ATM if you’re typically a plastic-only customer. (Point 4: you will enjoy these tacos) Here’s how it’ll go down… It’s a taco truck, so you’ll endure the open Oklahoma environment, but rest assured it’ll be worth it. You’ll stand in front of a blue truck with several other people who are also waiting to bless their lives with these delicious tacos. You’ll order, wait a few minutes while they prepare fresh tacos for your pleasure. (supposedly you can call ahead, I’ve never tried this because I enjoy the ritual of ordering truckside) They’ll call your number, hand you a discrete container. Assuming you don’t eat them right then and there in the parking lot–which I’m seriously not judging at all–you’ll eat in your car or somewhere nearby. You’ll open the container, releasing a heavenly fragrance, and behold those perfect tacos. You’ll eat them. You will find them both delicious and life-fulfilling. (Conclusion: Taqueria Sanchez’s tacos are the solution for most problems in your life) Those problems in your life, they don’t exist while you’re consuming tacos. Most items on this menu are probably delicious, but (seeing as it’s a *taqueria*) I’ve only ever had the tacos. Again, I encourage anyone to eat the tacos at Taqueria Sanchez. tl/dr: Quality tacos. Eat them.
