I normally come here enough to know what i want. But the last few times they have messed up. I know it says new employees in training so be patient, so i have been cause i know what it’s like. The ONE time I’m actually in the mood to change my regular order it’s messed up, bad first impression on that food. The girl that rang me up was nice and actually convinced me to try it and told me the description and how she likes it, when she brought out and what she described was NOT the same, since when did triple chocolate pancakes come with NO chocolate, w/ blueberries, egg and bacon? And the ONE time i said something she takes it back and literally all they do is add mini chocolate chips and Nutella drizzle.Ok that’s NOT how she described it. I order pancakes a lot and even on the menu board it doesn’t say served with bacon and egg, if it did i would ask not to put it on cause i don’t eat pork and i don’t like the smell of egg in general. I guess my triple chocolate pancakes is Nutella mini chips, blueberries, egg and bacon. And i swear she rang me up wrong cause i just came here two nights ago and i ordered something almost $3 more with the same dessert and they both came out the same price? I’d rather wait an extra 5 mins and get fresh CORRECT pancakes than get the wrong ones, DONT make bad habits and short cuts, especially new ppl, and i asked for here anyways so I’m not rushing. It wasn’t even busy, there was a couple groups but it’s not like they look to be in a rush either, they stayed are and chatted for quit a bit.

Stone’s Throw Brewing MacPark Brewpub & Biergarten – Menu with Prices – 402 E 9th St, Little Rock

This was one of the worst experiences and food that I’ve had at a local brewery in Little Rock. I got charged $1 for a 2oz shot of hidden valley ranch. I don’t even mind paying for ranch if it’s homemade and then it took an approximate 10 minutes for them to deliver this world renowned hidden valley ranch. Then both of our orders came out in correct. Mine was purposely incorrect. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes and AFTER they made the pancakes, delivered the pancakes, came back out 5 minutes later for me to ask about if the chocolate chips were inside or coming on the side, they said “we ran out of chocolate chips, so we just aren’t going to charge you”. The whole point of me ordering pancakes was for chocolate chips. The person I was with ordered tomato, cheese, and chicken hash browns and got served mushroom and chicken hash browns. I assume that they ran out of tomatoes and cheese so just whipped up what they thought best such as my pancakes. Upon checkout, they charged my card (yes, you give them a tab prior to ordering) for the chocolate chips, so multiple transactions because the wait staff doesn’t communicate with the kitchen. Won’t recommend to a sole, wont ever go back. This was so disappointing for a place that I thought had grand potential.

Dolce&Amaro Italian Artisan Bakery – Menu with Prices – 1310 Westover Terrace #110, Greensboro

It’s about time there was a true bakery in town that served something other than cupcakes, cake, and brownies. This bakery is very reminiscent of the European bakeries I’ve had the privilege of visiting. The display cases are beautifully set up, with a clean and simple look. They have larger desserts to share (or totally indulge in for yourself), and smaller desserts if you want to try more than one thing (or you’re on a diet, which I am not). My sister and I opted to try several desserts- the chocolate coconut cake, the triple chocolate cake, fruit tart, and the Marilyn (a white chocolate raspberry dessert). Right after we ordered, the pastry chef brought out a freshly baked tray of doughnuts filled with Nutella. They looked and smelled amazing! All of the desserts were really good. I’m a sucker for a fruit tart and this one was on point. The crust was just right with a rich buttery flavor. I would have liked a tad more custard, but the flavor overall was super yummy. The coconut and triple chocolate desserts were both good as well. I wasn’t as big of a fan of the Marilyn but it didn’t go to waste at our table either. To my surprise, the pastry chef shared one of the Nutella doughnuts with us and it was doughnut heaven. Tuesday is “two lattes for $5” day and they also did not disappoint. Eventually I’d like to go back and try their macarons, because I judge all bakers by those little bite size pieces of heaven.

Choco Fruit – Orange, CA – Menu with Prices – 1500 E Village Way #2229, Orange

My boyfriend and I ordered the chocolate covered pineapple skewer, a nutella crepe with strawberries and bananas and a Belgium chocolate crepe with strawberries and bananas. the pineapple skewer was the best part out of the 3 things… who doesn’t love chocolate covered fruit?! but I was disappointed with the crepes, and I am someone that LOVES crepes and loooves chocolate. the chocolate was not very tasty. For the nutella crepe, the fruit was on each side of the crepe rather than inside, and they were a little skimpy on the fruit. Overall, everything was okay but we would not order crepes from here again.

Sister House Menu with Prices 2436 N Charles St, Baltimore

This place is a quaint breakfast/lunch spot. I stopped by for breakfast and got one of the platters with pancakes, eggs and bacon. The food is prepared within 15 minutes if you order on a slower day in person. They also take orders over the phone. The food tasted fresh, pancakes were fluffy and the eggs were decent too. The bacon was a little too well done but it wasn’t unbearable. The dining area was very clean. I would say there were about 5-6 tables you can sit at if you want to eat on-site. Note: They accept credit cards but there is a $7 minimum.

Brunch Cafe – Menu with Prices – 15507 N Scottsdale Rd Suite 100, Scottsdale

We have been here twice now. Both times, the food was mediocre. The service was rough the first time. The second time, service was a notch better. Round one… my wife and I arrive on a Sunday before their breakfast rush. Most places would already be packed, so we were s bit worried with how empty the place was. Once seated, we ordered our drinks. The waitress came back a lil later and started running down my options… cream, sugar, etc… neither one of us ordered coffee. When my tea was brought out, the lid came off of the shaker and spilled it on my phone. No quick response by her part… she just stared at it. She made a comment about how good it was (insert someones name I guess we were supposed to know) wasnt there. My thoughts… should be more worried about if you just ruined someone’s property. The food that day, again, was meh. My wife ordered the chocolate chip bacon pancakes, which a linebacker would have trouble finishing the size of this triple stack. Sad to see a pile of bacon and chocolate on the first pancake, the rest were left dry. My omelet was barely warm, let alone hot. My toast was a bit hard, like stale bread. Round two… we decided to give the place another shot. This time, we brought my mother in-law with us. We came a bit later, so it was busier, but we got seated within a few minutes. I’d say it took 4-5min to have someone come around to take a drink order. I’m guessing it was the guy we were supposed to know from the previous trip. He seemed to be putting out fires around the place. When we did get our waitress, she was very pleasant and attentive the entire time we were there. But yet again, the food was left to be desired. Just not wow’d by food not served hot.

Hometown Country Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 894 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson

Really quick, my roommate and I have eaten there twice for breakfast. Both times both meals were great and the prices are right. I ordered a big breakfast meal. The one I ordered was 3 eggs over medium, bacon, hash browns, and pancakes. Everything was perfect, eggs cooked the way I requested, that’s hard to find sometimes, potatoes and bacon were great, and the pancakes hung off the plater, I wasn’t able to finish them . The 2nd time, I ordered the same meal, but with a few changes. Eggs, potatoes, toast the same and perfect. Then I ordered ham, instead of bacon, and French toast instead of pancakes. Nothing was wrong the first time, I just wanted to try the other items. I’m glad I did because the French toast was one of the better I’ve had, and the ham was out of this world. Great tasting and a large piece. I don’t think I mentioned prior, but this dish is $10. Not bad at all for all that food. I’ve lived in this area for a year now, this place just reopened about 2 months ago. Every time we’ve driven by the place it’s always busy, plus, it’s not fast food, it’s real food, so we had to try it. Apparently it was open prior to this, I believe the same restaurant, just an upgrade. I have no idea how it was prior, but it’s not huge inside, and both times we were able to get a table, but within 10 minutes of being sat, there was a waiting list. They have a nice little waiting area as you walk in, but that might fill up quickly on the weekends, just keep that in mind, that’s why we eat early most of the time.

SB Sunshine Cafe – Menu with Prices – 3514 State St, Santa Barbara

Ate there on 10-8-19, nice enough staff but the food was lousy. We were doing a hike afterwards and it was one of those things where we just joked and laughed about how bad the food was during most of the hike. We split a couple dishes, I order a stack of pancakes, the misses have huevos rancheros. The pancakes were terrible, the butter was weird and had no taste. What was weird was when I got to the bottom of the little butter holder they served me, it had some kind of weird gritty substance in the bottom of it, I guess (maybe) that’s how it gets when it got hot or cold or turned into due to where they had it stored. With the huevos the potatoes were bland, the whole dish had no flavor, overall it was a terrible experience. I tried to change my pancake order to blueberry pancakes but they had started it already so the waiter asked if i wanted some blueberries on top, I said sure. It turns out the guy charged me $3 for about 10 berries randomly scattered across the top of the pancakes, pretty crooked, it’s a nice hustle though, I guess. The sad part was that the berries were sour as were the orange slices that came with the dishes, I guess I shouldn’t be shocked given how bad the rest of the meal was. We won’t be back, it’s all good, there are lots of great reviews on here, I guess we got ‘punked’ by the kitchen staff because with the way our meal was, there clearly was no effort put into it, lesson learned!

Cake Collection Boutique – Menu with Prices – 7001 St Andrews Rd A14, Columbia

This place is amazing!!! I needed cupcakes for a baby shower that I was throwing on a Monday, and unbeknownst to me, just about every bakery in the area is closed on a Monday. I was so lucky to stumble across this adorable place. The cupcakes were beautiful and absolutely delicious. We got a variety of flavors (cookies and cream, chocolate peanut butter, red velvet, tropical carrot, triple chocolate and red velvet with Nutella icing). Everyone agreed that they were HANDS DOWN the best cupcakes theyâ??d ever eaten. The cake was moist and the icing was perfectly sweet, flavorful and delicious. They also have absolutely amazing customer service. I certainly know where I will be getting cake/cupcakes/cake pops from in the future! Highly recommend!

Lucibello’s Italian Pastry Shop – Menu with Prices – 935 Grand Ave, New Haven

I am a huge cannoli lover and am always looking for my next favorite. I’ve always preferred the ones with lots and lots of chocolate chips and therefore was skeptical upon first glance of Lucibello’s. One bite was enough for me to realize that liking the cannoli for the amount of chips was wrong, because Lucibello’s cannoli was outstanding simply for the freshness of the shell and the flavor of the filling. The crunch of the chocolate chips was completely satisfied by the crunch of the shell (although it does have chips throughout the filling, just less than I’ve usually preferred in the past). They were also a great size – not too large that they’re hard to eat and not too small too be disappointed. We got two cannolis and a bunch of cookies and I was surprised it didn’t cost more than it did – around $12 for everything. Definitely will be going back to satisfy my sweet tooth!

Seven Mile Cafe – Menu with Prices – 6300 North Fwy, Fort Worth

Came here two days in a row. It is awesome! Yesterday we had Riley as our waiter and he was so friendly and upbeat. I got biscuits (homemade and amazing), eggs, legit good and thick bacon, not the fatty greasy crap we get in CA, and hash browns. All in all delish and filling. My sister is gluten free and we came here because they have a gluten sensitive menu and they are understanding of her allergy, which is hard to come by. Her pancakes were insanely delicious and I would order them myself. According to the menu, there is maple syrup in the batter and it makes them awesome! I appreciate that her food is made separately and a simple verification that it is GF by serving on a black colored plate assures no mix up. Went here again this AM. Justin was our waiter and he was friendly and welcoming with great suggestions! I had a waffle with strawberries and Nutella. Again, delicious, but seeing as there is no meat, a little overpriced for a single waffle for $12.50 Had the Ghiradelli hot chocolate and it was insane! Perfect for the chocoholic in me. I wish it was bigger! Tasted my dad’a chicken fried steak. Sits heavy, but completely delicious! Overall, great food, great service, no wait and plenty of space. Would definitely return!

Palacio Cafe 2 – Menu with Prices – 227 Don Gaspar Ave, Santa Fe

Disappointed beyond belief. Mexican food is one cuisine that is hard to screw up but this place was able to do just that. After a long drive we stopped for breakfast because of a 4 star rating on yelp. Only one table was filled and the wait staff didn’t see us for several minutes. We ordered a breakfast burrito, huevos rancheros, eggs/bacon/hash browns, and pancakes. When our food came the portions were incredibly small. Nothing was homemade down to the bacon. I actually spit it out and questioned whether it was another animal besides pork. We determined that it was precooked bacon from the store you reheat in the microwave. The tortillas were cold and hard. The hash browns were cold and from a bag, not made in house. When our food was dropped off our pancakes were missing. 5 minutes later the staff said oh by the way the cook dropped the pancakes and it will take another 15 minutes, do you even still want them? Not once were we asked if we needed anything. This place is a joke. This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced and couldn’t finish eating. Disgusted. Stay away and save yourself the disappointment.

Don’s Country Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 1938 S Coast Hwy #6433, Oceanside

On our way to Seaworld we wanted to have a hearty breakfast to keep us full for some time. Found this place on Yelp and got there around 8:30am on a Sunday. We were two families including 4 children and they sat us immediately by offering us two separate tables next to each other which we did not mind. The breakfast menu is extensive from omelettes to pancakes, Benedicts to scrambles, B. Sandwiches to “light items” and their famous stuffed hash browns so there is something for everyone. My son wanted to have “chocolate waffle” but they did not have such a thing on their menu but our waitress offered him nicely to bring pancakes with chocolate chips which was accepted by my son without doubt, lol My husband and I decided to get a stuffed hash-brown and a Fresh Spinach Omelet and split. The kids pancakes arrived shortly as we requested because our children were very hungry and impatient. They loved their Mickey shaped pancake, that was a win! And there it came our each split in two separate plates already which was a great proactivity. The food was so tasty, we tried to eat as much as we could despite being full already. The stuffed hash-brown was something I never had before and it was fantastic! Perfect crispy hash-browns folded and filled with bacon, cheese, avocado, topped with runny sunny side up eggs and Hollandaise sauce. How great combo is that?! Anyhow it tasted as good as it sounds ? The Omelette was flavorful too. It had so much spinach and Jack cheese which we liked a lot. The portions are huge and we could totally be full by sharing just one dish. The prices are fair varying between $10-12. The service was friendly and quick. The waitress got our orders right and went above and beyond to deliver them. We were full up until 6pm that we had dinner on our way back to LA so that was another plus that we did not have to have the overpriced and mediocre food at Seaworld!
