Limited scotch selection, but that’s not their fault, as we are not the most affluent or cultured area. I’m happy with the their personal and positive energy with their staff, and am satisfied with this location as a home store.

AXIS Five Band – Menu with Prices – 4482 Branderwood Dr Suite C, Roanoke

Awesome Rock-N-Roll from some of the coolest dudes you’ll ever meet. Their live music shows are unsurpassed when it comes to TPE (True Positive Energy). You won’t find another show that has more positive energy and positive people around. Their shows are a great place to meet new friends. If you like awesome music, meeting new friends, and having a good time… then Axis Five is the band for you! â???ð??

Virginia ABC – Menu with Prices – 43 Town and Country Dr, Fredericksburg

So this place is always empty… Winter…summer…empty…I’m guessing not that many people like to drink …the store is nice an clean… Nice selection of alcoholic beverages…there’s about five selections in the store…rum, gin, scotch, tequila and vodka…they organized it all in brand so its easy to find as well … There’s only one person that work there I’m guessing because the store is always empty…but I remember asking her a question and without getting out of the counter she easily pointed it out …that’s how organized this place is… Never actually been to an ABC store this is actually my first…hope this review is helpfully lol

Sanctuary Cigars – Menu with Prices – 7813 Vaughn Rd, Montgomery

I don’t know much about cigars other than it’s a really excellent way to relax once-in-awhile. So, I spent a couple hours here enjoying a cigar and sip of Scotch with a friend one afternoon, and had a supremely relaxing experience. The humidor is overwhelming. If you’re like me and don’t know what’s what, seek help. I have no recollection of what I selected, only that the humidor is probably bigger than my bedroom, maybe my living room, which is to say, there’s a lot to choose from. The staff is more than willing to help out. I learned there’s more than one way to cut a cigar. Crazy! My friend is a regular here, so I don’t know if I got a special kind of treatment, but I did have the privilege of being left alone with their scotch/whiskey collection for some time to contemplate my choices. The selection is fantastic, offering a little something for everyone and better than most Scotch selections at any given bar, though I concede I have not yet been to Hiram in downtown Montgomery. Once my cigar and whisky (Ardbeg Uigeadail, for those interested), I settled into a leather chair in the back parlor. The smoking room at the back is supremely well ventilated. There’s constant airflow to avoid it being smoky or excessively scented, which is a really fantastic touch. All-in-all, this was easily one of the best experiences I’ve had in Montgomery so far, and it lives up to its name as a sanctuary to the bon vivant.

Virginia ABC – Menu with Prices – 236 Carmichael Way, Chesapeake

Small and friendly. This store is small but the staff is always willing to help in anyway they can. They have a relatively large scotch section and always a nice whiskey and bourbon shelf.

WB Liquors & Wine – Menu with Prices – 14457 S Padre Island Dr #105, Corpus Christi

Really happy to have a nice liquor store on the island. Prices are not as good as some of the other known mega-liquor stores, but not unreasonable either. Beer selection is a little light but reasonably good wine selection and all the staple liquor products are stocked. Extremely friendly staff too! Looks like they are about to expand into an empty store next door in the shopping center.

Classic European Bakery – Menu with Prices – 12211 49th St N #1, Clearwater

Great and convenient small store with all the signature Yugoslavian staples. They have a limited food selection which tastes amazing. If you’re looking for brands like Milka and Kinder, this is your place to go. Very helpful staff also!

CVS Pharmacy – Menu with Prices – 1855 W Thunderbird Rd, Phoenix

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. I recently decided to switch my son’s prescriptions to this store because it is closer to my home. I left my son’s doctor’s office and called to confirm my they had received his prescription and would fill it and I was put on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on. When I arrived at the location the pharmacy staff was rude and non communicative. (I did not mention the fact they had put me on hold or was disconnected) I stood there for almost 10 minutes staring at the staff while they ignored my presence, chatting away about personal issues. When one employee finally acknowledged me she greeted me with a rude tone and an unfriendly look as if I had disturbed her. She then continued to loudly complain to her coworker about being pregnant and how she does way too much compared to her male colleagues. She was so busy talking over me and complaining to her coworker that she didn’t bother to get my insurance information, nor hear me ask about it. I then chose to wait the 30 minutes for them to fill the prescription and was treated like a nuisance for using their location. Awful customer service. I would rather drive an extra 10 minutes to my local Fry’s pharmacy than deal with the rude staff at this location.

Russell Stover Chocolates – Menu with Prices – 1300 Village West Pkwy, Kansas City

Part outlet store, all retail store, this is one of a handful of Russell Stover candy stores in the city. The bulk of the store has most, if not all, of Russell Stover and Whitman’s line of chocolates and candies (regular and sugar free), including Jelly Bellies. They have individually packaged candy as well as bulk. They always have “seasonally wrapped” boxed candy and candy assortments on hand (for guys … Lol) for when you need a last-second gift for Mother’s Day or an anniversary. A complete ice cream selection sits alongside an amazing collection of freshly-made fudge and hand dipped caramel apples. My personal favorite are the bloopers in the back. Bloopers are boxes and bags of whatever got messed up at the factory and can’t pass the eye test for selling at retail. Otherwise, it’s the same candy only cheaper. The store doesn’t get a say in what the factory sends them, but it is always my first stop. I highly recommend this location in the Legends. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Cultured South Fermentation Co. Menu with Prices 1038 White St SW, Atlanta

Cultured South is Atlanta’s first kombucha tap room and they have been open for 3 days! You definitely need to check this place out. First, let’s talk about kombucha.. it may not be your cup of tea (pun intended), but the type that is served at Cultured South is amazing. They offer Golda Kombucha and it is far milder than any kombucha I have tried. There is no vinegary taste due to the fermentation process they use but the health benefits are the same. The tap room is located in the West End on White Street, near to the Monday Night Brewery Garage location. It is a bit tucked away but trust your GPS. There is ample parking in their lot, too. The interior space is beautiful and simple with lots of seating and they will soon be adding a beltline facing outdoor patio. I sat at the bar when I visited and ordered a kombucha flight. For $8 you can try 5 of their rotating flavors. My favorites were the mango habanero and the lavender lemon. You can also order a 16oz. glass of any available flavor or grab a 16oz bottle or growler to go. If you do purchase a bottle or growler, know that they are both refillable at a discounted price. If kombucha is too healthy for you, add gelato! They offer kombucha floats using local Revolution Gelato or Honeysuckle Gelato. There isn’t a food menu per say, but there is a vegan cheese board available using local Pure Abundance cashew cheese. I can’t wait to try this! Cultured South is all about fermentation. If you don’t know the health benefits of consuming fermented foods, give it a google. Your tummy will thank you.

Fuji Bakery-Bellevue Menu with Prices 699 120th Ave NE #3009, Bellevue

Recently Fuji Bakery returned back to Bellevue opening up a kiosk storefront inside Uwajimaya next to Ellenos Greek Yogurt. With this new shop opening, Bellevue again has a Japanese bakery. It doesn’t seem like they do baking at this location, so the selection is more limited than you will find at the International District store. At this location, you will find a selection of cakes, macarons, pastries and Japanese style sandwiches at reasonable prices. Also, you can find their shokupan in the bread aisle at Uwajimaya. On a grocery shopping trip, I picked up a couple pastries to go for a Sunday morning breakfast. I noticed that Fuji is now offering malasadas, so I had to give them a try being a Hawaii native. Ordered a malasada ($1.50) and a custard bun ($2.25). I enjoyed both pastries. The malasada here is good and is the closest in taste and texture to the ones at Leonard’s in Honolulu. The only knock was that they were not fresh out of the oven and hot which is the best time to eat them. The custard bun was delicious with a nice thick cream filling inside. It is great to have a Japanese bakery again in Bellevue. I would like to see a better selection of baked goods to choose from here, but happy enough with their presence at Uwajimaya.

Subs ‘n Such – Menu with Prices – 1008 Florida Ave S, Lakeland

This place was a pleasant surprise. We were looking for a sandwich shop to grab a quick lunch while moving our son into Florida Southern College. Searched restaurants in the area on my iPhone maps app and saw yelp reviews had it at more than 4.0. It was less than a mile from the college. We actually drove by and missed the driveway. I could tell the passengers in the car were skeptical as the place looked small and we wondered if it had seating inside – which it did, but limited. We found out later they do a brisk takeout and delivery business. DO NOT judge a book by it’s cover! Subs n Such has been in business since 1977 and there is a quality reason why. Once inside we were greeted warmly by staff who explained the offerings and cheerfully gave personal FSC history and their close ties to the college. Several students work here, including delivering subs. It is a sandwich shop offering traditional deli sandwiches, hot dogs, and burgers. The subs are of varying sizes. In our party some ordered 6″ and 8″ subs and we all left happy and satisfied for only $32 plus tip. We had Philly Cheese Steaks, Meatball subs, and a Carlotta. All were delicious. The place really has a mom ‘n’ pop, local diner feel and the staff AND other customers were really friendly and happy to be there. Give it a try – it blows the chains away! I can’t wait for my next visit and a chance to show this hidden gem to more family and friends.

Naia CBD Boutique – Menu with Prices – 128 S Rosemead Blvd, Pasadena

TLDR: Highly recommend! Best place for CBD products! Nice boutique style CBD store. Great selection, top shelf, awesome staff/service, good vibes, good service, and surprisingly the prices were nice (same if not a little lower than dispensaries). If you’re only interested in CBD products, look no further. Review: A month ago I started dabbling in CBD for chronic pain (had some samples given at a yoga event–shoutout to Wanderlust!!). While visiting a friend in Pasadena the topic of CBD randomly came up and we thought we’d be adventurous and hunt for some. I looked up “dispensary” on Yelp and found their stock to be really low. So looked up “CBD” and voila! It was meant to be. Met Lily and she had such positive vibes and was well educated. She helped us find products in our price range and gave us tips on dosage. I ended up loving my vape CannaHemp Relief which I found was reasonable, in fact found their prices very reasonable if not under other dispensaries that don’t specialize (their store’s really nice and boutique like so I expected it to be monies). Anyways fast forward. Two weeks later I found my vape was defective (manufacture issue and not their fault). I called, Lily actually remembered me. She was bright and nice as before, and went out of her way to contact the store owner who was very understanding (wasn’t expect to to be as smooth) and said I could come in to exchange it. I live 2 hrs away and she said it’s fine, she’ll make a note in my account for whenever I can make it in. I stopped by today (a month later) and they stocked up! Had a bunch of new products (Charlottes Webb, Papa Barkley–top CBD products) which was good to see. Policy was I was 1 day over my exchange date (didn’t know) but the guy looked up my account and said bc I had called and what not I could still exchange it. Was very happy about that. Will definitely be back. Woop!
