Been on the road for quite some time and had to stop in Bakersfield, CA. We needed something to soothe our tired bodies. Found this pho place and had to stop in. Was greeted by a very polite young man by the name of Tai. We ordered the combination pho, crispy eggrolls and Viet iced coffee. Everything was really good. We ate up everything. My boyfriend loved the eggrolls so much he wanted to order a dozen more. I told him no. We are stuffed. Lol. Tai provided such awesome service and very polite and even said excuse me when checking to see how our meals were. He even apologized for a rude and obnoxious customer that was in there. They even gave complimentary dessert of tapioca. It was delicious and warm, a taste of mung beans and coconut milk. Yum. Like how mom use to make it. THANKS TAI!

Tapioca Express – Menu with Prices – 1480 Eastlake Pkwy Ste.903, Chula Vista

3 stars because I have high expectations from tapioca express. I love my thai tea with boba. I had a craving for a cup last night but the usual tapioca express I go to was closed. So with the help of Google I found this one. Filled with relief and joy I gladly drove the 16 minutes to this restaurant. I ordered my usual drink. Except this drink did not taste like the drink I desired. It tasted like heavy cream or condensation milk. I couldn’t taste the black tea.I understand the aspects of milk tea but it was to much milk…. To top it off the boba was hard and unfresh as if they were left out to dry and the effort to salvage them was useless. Overall the customer service was great the atmosphere was nice too. I just wont visit this place again at 10pm. Lesson learned

Sabor Latino Restaurant and Abarrotes Fuente de Dios – Menu with Prices – 3726 Everett Ave, Kansas City

The food is good the service however could be better , one of the ladies that takes the order at the cash register is rude, she asked me for the money and I was not finished with my order, then when I asked her why is she asking me for money when I’m not done ,she said I’m busy and I have more people trying to order. I then asked her for green salsa and she brought me I small container then I said excuse me I ordered 10 popusas I need more salsa and she brought me 1 more. It’s a shame that the food is so good but I refuse to go because the staff is rude and obnoxious!!!

Le Macaron French Pastries Santa Monica – Menu with Prices – 1301 Montana Ave, Santa Monica

This place had the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I ordered a vanilla iced latte with easy ice and what they gave me tasted exactly like a cup of milk. Because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and I had just spent upwards of $5 on this drink, I went in and politely requested that they either remake the drink or remedy it in some way. To this request, I received an eye roll and a statement that I will have to pay $3 extra for them to add more coffee. My other option was to repurchase the drink for another $5 and hope that they make the drink correctly the second time. Furthermore, both women working repeatedly told me that the drink tasted like this because I asked for less ice. In my eyes, a request for less ice is not a request for more milk. This was a terrible purchase and experience. The poorly made drink coupled with the rude customer service has ensured that I will not be returning. I have nothing positive to say about this business.

Crosby’s- Peach – Menu with Prices – 8024 Peach St, Erie

I stop here regularly for gas as the have some of the lowest prices in the area. Crosby’s gas and convenience store is great A+++. I do not write negative reviews, but tonight I also stopped into the adjacent Tim Horton’s to pick up a quick bite to eat. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! I ordered a No.1 Turkey Bacon Club but on a Panini. It came out not grilled…so I asked the associate if I could have it grilled…she said it did not come grilled…I told her every Panini they displayed on the board came grilled…Why not mine? Then she gave me a lame excuse that because I had ripped open my Sandwich sleeve that she could not grill my Panini. Off to sit in the seating area I went…and she went into the back area and complained to a co-worker about not being able to read my mind in a loud enough voice that I could hear her in the seating area. Tim Horton’s gets a “D” for not putting the customer first and rude service.

LongHorn Steakhouse – Menu with Prices – 2310 Lincoln Hwy E, Lancaster

We used call ahead seating, which was great – we were seated within 5mins of arrival at 5:20pm (2 adults, 2 children). Our waitress Mya was very nice, took our drink/appetizer order promptly. When she came back, we were ready with our order. She left and we sat and chatted watching the tables around us. People who had ordered after us were getting their salads… then their meals… and we still didn’t have our salads and no sign of Mya. When she finally walked past our table (wasn’t stopping, but i caught her attention) I asked if our salads would be arriving. She said yes and left. She came back and apologized – she had forgot to put our order in and that the kitchen was going to ‘fast track it’ (we all had steak and mine was to be well done). over an hour later, we still didn’t have our meals. She didn’t offer to bring anything for the kids to snack on… she did offer more bread. We spent 2 hours total at the restaurant… not once did a manager or anyone stop by to check on us. I took our youngest to the bathroom and saw another waitress and asked her if she would have a manager stop at our table. I told her we’ve been here over an hour and that our waitress forgot to put our order in – she responded “Oh, I heard about that”. The kitchen manager came out a few mins later and apologized. She also said she gave us a ‘deep discount’ – which was the employee 25% off. I was expecting WAY more than that – and at that point, the meal should’ve been free. This was one of our worst dining experiences and we will not be going back again. Our Father’s Day dinner was definitely unforgettable. I’m thankful for my husband who grabbed the Kindle Fire on the way out the door…otherwise, our 4yr old would’ve been a mess.

La Madre Mexican Snacks Menu with Prices 716 Peoria St, Aurora

This was my favorite place… but I had a very unpleasant experience. We had ordered a double order of dry meat (2bags) and double shrimp witch is $15 and a corn cup total came to $21 and some change cool staff was polite as usual but when they gave me my order the gave me a small plate with 5 psc of meat and 3 shrimp which was clearly not what we had ordered and or payed for. We pointed it out to the young female who gave it to us she stated it was because they had put extra shrimp! REMEMBER IT ONLY HAD 3 SHRIMPS!! No one did anything to fix the issue so I ended up leaving! And now I hate to say they have lost me! PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY CHARGE AND KNOW AHAT YOUR GETTING! My guess is that she was probably new but that’s still no excuse for not fixing the problem!

Bubbleology Boca Menu with Prices 141 NW 20th St Unit B-9, Boca Raton

This place is overrated & on the pricier side of boba in my opinion. I was super excited to try this place out, but it definitely did not meet my expectations. Sadly … -The place was very small, everything felt tight as if there was little to no room. I wish it was more spacious. -The drinks come with tapioca pearls already in it, I wish I was told about that. Personally, I only like those in milk teas, but it came in my fruit tea. I drank it as is because I don’t like complaining much and I’m not picky. However, I made it clear it was my first time, so I wish someone explained that. For future reference, this would be a good habit for workers there as not everyone likes tapioca pearls. Many stores don’t add them in, they are usually add-ons. Like I said, it’s not a bad thing to do, but it should be made known to customers that that is how you guys do things. -The waffle was good, but I asked for a vanilla waffle and was given a chocolate one… Overall, there are definitely room for improvement. Would I come back? Maybe. Would I recommend? Maybe. *sorry if it seems a bit harsh*

Aces and Eights Saloon – Menu with Prices – 62 16th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids

Super rude bartender….stopped by for a gal’s out night for karaoke which started at 9. Had a friend who is 19 come out with us…the law is that underage people can be in a bar until 10pm if they serve food. She was drinking water and we were honest about her age and why we were there. We were chatting a bit, it was extremely dead in there, maybe 8-10 people total in the entire bar. She comes up to us and says rudely, what do you want, I can’t come over here later so don’t rely on that…Okay, whatever, we were waiting for people to get there and would have ordered drinks when they arrived. We showed our ID’s and explained about our friend and she was totally rude. Our under age friend brought up the law about 10 pm, then she made up some excuse about that not being relevant and then basically kicked us out and was very unpleasant. Will never go back here and we ended up having much more fun at the karaoke at Sammy’s Lounge. Don’t waste your time and go somewhere else with better customer service.

lucy’s let’s eat – Menu with Prices – 3449 Canal St, Fort Myers

Today was the first time I tried their food. Their food was decent, but their customer service was beyond horrible! I had looked over the menu and placed my order. The lady at the window told me it would take 15 minutes so I waited in my car a little over 15 minutes. When I went up to the window, I saw the lady telling another customer different sides they had that I didn’t see on the menu. So when she told me that my order was almost done I asked if I could get a side of collard greens please. I apologized, because it was my first time going there and I didn’t know that they had other items that weren’t on the menu. Then a lady in the back, whom I assumed must of been the boss or manager yelled in a very rude way that I needed to wait in the back of the line just for a side of collard greens. Firstly, I believe customer service is key especially when it’s a mom & pop place. There’s no need to yell towards your customers especially for something so simple that doesn’t even take a 10 seconds to put into a container. I wasn’t rude, loud with an attitude or rushing them, so I didn’t see the reason for the unnecessary rudeness. I eat at alot of different places and recommend different places to numerous people. Eventhough the food was ok I WOULD NOT recommend them to anyone! Again CUSTOMER SERVICE is KEY in any business!

Some Da Eat – Menu with Prices – 1305 Earle Ave, Chesapeake

Ok this is my second review so you know this place is off the hook! Man or woman let me tell you I am a cook and when I don’t feel like cooking this is where I come for dinner. The food is AWESOME!! If you have not been here yet then put your shoes on grab your keys and get there!! I am telling you that they put everything that God gave them into their food. I have not had a bad meal yet! I pray that they open more chains around the city because people need to know about these remarkable cooks!! They are polite and friendly and make you feel at home when you go there. I know once you try them you will never stop!! I would give them 10 stars if they allowed it. They are a 20 to me Mmmmm mmmm great!!

See’s Candies – Menu with Prices – 3151 Mowry Ave, Fremont

I generally don’t write bad reviews unless my experience was SUPER bad. Customer service seems to be LACKING here. The candies are fine. Always the same quality and the same at every sees candies, so this review is for the customer service – or the lack thereof. I felt very discriminated against and brushed of bc my mom and I were speaking English and I was also translating to my mom in Korean. It wasn’t even busy!!! And the older of the two sales people totally brushed us off. We went there this morning – Saturday morning just after they opened. There were 3 customer sets and one customer walked in while we had already been in the store. There were two ladies working – an older lady and a younger one. We weren’t greeted when we walked in even tho the older lady clearly saw that we had walked in. When we got into line, there was a customer at the register, one set in front of us and a male customer had walked in and was standing in front of the glass, waiting to buy a few pieces. I thought he had already been helped. When we got to the counter, I asked the older person if we could make our own box because honestly I’ve never done that at See’s and she makes this comment, well that’s what these are all for… and she was kind of a jerk when she said it… like duh… and so I asked how much it cost and she told me $20.50 or something like that per pound and so I was translating this to my mom, and the lady looks away at me and at the man and says well you were here first what can I get for you? And turns away from us. Granted, the man was white and she was white .. I think she was white and we are Asian… and I don’t want to throw in the race card here, but I felt like WTF bc I’m translating you are being rude. If he was in line first, that’s fine, he should be attended to first, but the way she did it was really wrong. I was totally offended. She could have asked who was here first? Or said something like I think he was here first, let me get to you next or something more polite and rude than what she said or her mannerism. Also, right before us she was helping another set of Asian customers who may or may not have spoken English well, and she was really snotty to them, too. Granted she did offer them some samples at the end of their transaction, but overall she was just rude. We got to the counter and the younger person was helping another customer and then it was our turn. She rang us up, and then I asked for some samples because we were offered any, she gave us samples, fine. Rang us up, gave us a coupon, and my mom said to her oh, I didn’t receive this coupon when I came yesterday, and the girl just kind of looks at her like oh well with her arm lifted like oh well… kind of gesture… and was abt to say something, so I just told my mom never mind and we walked out. The younger girl, I didn’t have much of a problem with, but the older lady, really ticked me off. While she was ringing up the customer before us said to the younger girl something abt having to do something later because it would get so busy here today. There were a handful of people and it is the day before Mother’s Day, so I get it. It’s busy and there’s the anticipatory business and stress, but it doesn’t mean that you should be rude. If we play the racist card, yeah I felt discriminated against because we were speaking English and another language, but overall, it seems to me that this older lady should have a better handle on her customer service skills. She seemed to be the more senior of the two, so she should set a better example. I imagine other employees feel uncomfortable around her because she comes off as curt.

Little Italy Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 3320 S Broadway Ave, Tyler

The good food but the worst service.. I came to here for order to go at afternoon. After I made the payment ..I said goodbye with two lady who front of reception and when I start walked away.I heard both of them PARODY my VOICE behind my back. I glad for myself because I?m a Asian but I treated them polite than I can to do. I gave them tip and say goodbye although the employee treat me really weird and RUDE at the time I made order. This problem happen few month ago but I want give recommendations because I hope owned should to know and training employee again. At least, let them know all customer come to restaurant ; they have to pay the same price and they deserve for respect. Doesn?t matter who they are and what RACE!! Thank you!!
