This place has been on my radar for quite a while but I never pulled the trigger because Iâ??m pretty loyal to my usual favorite wing spot in town. But one day I had some time free after a photoshoot so I decided to give it a shot. I ordered a ten-piece lemon pepper because letâ??s be honestâ?¦ lemon pepper is the only flavor that matters. The wings were A-MAZING!! Hot, fresh, a good size, perfectly fried with the perfect amount of lemon-pepper. Could this be my new favorite wing spot? Well not so fastâ?¦ I like to give a new place at least three chance before I proclaim anything because anyone can have a good day and anyone can have a bad day, hits and misses happen everywhere.

Wings & Bowls – Menu with Prices – 515 N Main St Ste C, Santa Ana

As a huge wing fan, I get excited anytime a new wing spot opens up in Downtown Santa Ana. This place definitely hits the spot with its Korean style wings. I tried the Spicy Korean and it had good flavor. I have a high tolerance for spicy, but I can imagine it being really hot for some. I’d stick with the soy garlic if you think the spicy wings will be too much for you. There’s a lot more I want to come back for, especially the galbi bowl. I’ll be back often because I don’t want to lose another wing spot in Santa Ana. It’s always heartbreaking. Wing fans, check this place out, support it, give them feedback. We can’t let this place die like so many restaurants in McFadden market tend to do.

Wings on Fire – Menu with Prices – 9040 E Valencia Rd Ste 100, Tucson

This is a new wing place that opened right by my house so I thought I’d give it a try. Honestly the wings were pretty good. I ordered a combo of 10 boneless wings with lemon pepper and parmesan as well as a combo of 10 traditional wings with lemon pepper and hot. Both combos came with a smalldrink, fries, and some celery and carrots. I give this a four star because it’s pretty pricy. Both combos cost almost $30 ($27 to be exact). Also the wings felt a little bit under cooked. However, I would visit again. Update: 5 stars. This is my go to wing place since it’s very conveniently close to my house. The staff are extremely friendly and I love the wings.

Not Your Mamas Wings – Menu with Prices – 1150 E Philadelphia St #112, Ontario

I can say that this place by far is the best wing place I have been to. Am I surprised that it is the best? No I’m not cause how many wing places are actually good. That is not a knock and saying that any wing place can just be good. But let me tell you that these wings are something else! Fried to a perfect crisp and not overly greasy and nicely seasoned. I had the lemon pepper wings and could not have been anymore satisfied. Your fries are your typical fries. You really can’t screw up French fries. I’m not going to knock the review down to a four just because I think it is a preference. But I got the potato salad as a side and overall it was pretty good but I thought there was too much relish. But I know ppl love to have a lot of relish in their potato salad so there is that. I will say if you been thinking about coming to this place then stop thinking and go. Support businesses like these because their is no wing chains that can rival this place!

Buffalo Wings – Menu with Prices – 485 N Grande Ave, Tucson

So I’m being bias and cheering for small business. I should give it 3 stars, but I like small businesses to succeed. What was good about this place was how the wings were fried to a perfect texture and flavorful sauces for a good price. Where they could improve in a crowded market of wing restaurants is what I mostly saw. When you first walk in it appears to be an old converted Churches Fried Chicken or something similar. The service was pleasant enough, but the lady taking my order had a hard time with hearing the drive through on her head set. If you’re not able to hear orders from a customer across the counter from you that’s a problem. I understand it’s small business and they’re trying to figure out what they need to do so I hope they work it out soon. I’m able to hear the order is a 70 wing order. I am concerned they won’t be able to knock out my 20 wing order that I ordered before the drive through order. They made good on my order and completed it pretty quickly. Due to my 20 wing order, I was able to try two different flavors. I got the lemon pepper and their hottest. They don’t offer any dry wings, so I got my sauce on the side. The sauces are very good, but not a lot of choice. The hottest sauce was hot, but not that hot. The lemon pepper was solid. More sauces and rubs would be an easy way to expand their menu with not too much cost. The blue cheese dressing was good. Wings were smaller than I would prefer, but for the price not bad. My order was packed in two Sam’s Club styrofoam containers. This wasn’t ideal because the hot wings melted portions of my box. A sheet of wax paper could have prevented this, but small, new business. My containers were damaged when I received them, but were functional enough. I hope this place is successful.

The Buffalo Spot Menu with Prices 1707 N Collins St Suite 121, Arlington

Walking into this restaurant, I really thought it was a wingstop. The interior layout just gave me wingstop vibes. Anyways, this is a newly opened restaurant in Arlington, TX. It’s located in a pretty huge plaza with tons of other restaurants and dessert shops. There are tons of parking spots in front of the restaurant. Food wise, the wings were okay. They were pretty average in my opinion. We ordered the family tradition wings pack. The pack came with 4 small drinks, 50 wings with 4 flavors, your choice of bread sticks or fries, and ranch to dip. If you wanted veggies you would have had to pay extra. Its also 60 cents extra if you wanted an extra wing sauce or wing sauce on the side. The sauces that we got for the wings are lemon pepper, original hot, jalapeños pineapple, and caribbean jerk. Lemon pepper tasted more lemony than peppery. The lemon pepper at this location were wet based compared to dry based lemon pepper at wingstop. Original hot was a pretty good basic buffalo sauce. If you’re looking for spicy then I would recommend getting Atomic hot. It’s a spicier version of the original buffalo sauce. Jalapeños pineapple was my personal favorite. It wasn’t spicy for anyone who can’t eat spicy. It was fruity and tangy. It was a sauce that many other wing places did not have. If you’re willing to try a fruity kind of wing sauce then I would really recommend this one! Lastly, Caribbean jerk just reminded me of asian zing from Buffalo Wild Wings. It was average and nothing really special. Overall, I like that they were able to accommodate my party of 10. The wings were just warm, it didn’t taste like they were just made. They were pretty mediocre. It wasn’t anything special. However, they’re apparently well known for their buffalo fries. We got the buffalo fries in garlic parmesan and it was actually really good! The sauce was good, and the fries were thick and crispy. If I was going to come back, I would get these fries again!

Lord of the wings – Menu with Prices – 6436 Pacific Ave, Stockton

*DRUM ROLL PLEASE* …… Soooo let me just put this out there , i absolutely love fried chicken ! i truly do & i love it even more when it’s cooked and fried right . i’m probably the pickiest person when it comes to chicken because it has to have that good crispy crunch on the outside . but when you bite into it , it has that good tender meat on the inside . OF COURSE from the reviews this place comes highly recommended . and it’s always refreshing to see black owned businesses and ones that are reasonably priced . i brought my kids along with me after procrastinating for a few days . i will admit i do love the lemon pepper chicken , it’s actually really good . it has the right amount of lemon pepper seasoning to it as well . i will come back for those for sure . i bought two 10 pieces : bbq , teriyaki , lemon pepper of course and garlic parmesan . BBQ wings : flavor wise it was 8/10 , it was a tad on the spicy side but it’s okay Teriyaki wings : flavor wise 8/10 . Lemon Pepper wings : flavor wise 10/10 Garlic Parmesan wings : flavor wise 7/10 – i wasn’t a big fan of the garlicky after taste . overall the wings were great ! my kids loved them & my husband said they taste like wings he would cook so that’s a huge plus ! i will definitely come back to this one to continue to support . somebody put these people on diners drive ins and dives !!!

Rene?s Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 9310 W Central Ave, Wichita

Never again will I ever go back. I’ve gone to this location off and on since they have opened. Some hits, some misses. But enough hits that it keeps me coming back. One of my favorite thing to get is shrimp cocktail. In all the times I’ve gotten it, it has been pretty consistent. But this was by far the worse I had ever seen. I ordered through the drive thru. As soon as I opened it up when I got home, I could tell it looked different. It looked like as if though it was a cup full of pico and salsa. Typically, their shrimp cocktail has more of a tomato sauce consistency with bits of tomatoes, onions, avocados, etc. Nope, not this time. Straight up pico with some shrimp in it. I kept eating thinking maybe they changed up the way they make it. As I’m eating it, I get bits of soggy chips. Kept going not thinking too much about. Until I realized, I don’t eat my shrimp cocktail with chips. I had been going through it with the fork they gave me! It was then I realized, they had dumped a bunch of used pico into my cup with some shrimp and sold it to me! I have eaten at some shady restaurants, but this was by far the worse thing I’ve had happen to my food.

JT Cajun Seafood & Wings – Menu with Prices – 480 W Interstate 30, Garland

Wow, just wow. I first went through the drive through to order food but got super overwhelmed with all the menu options lol I wanted to know the difference in the salt and pepper wings vs the regular . I was told they had pictures inside if I wanted to see what it looked like so I took the advice and got off. They literally have a WHOLE wall with pictures of all the dishes they serve! Amazingly helpful! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable on the food . I ordered the salt and pepper chicken, fried fish and shrimp and 3 whole wings with fried rice. Everything was HOT and FRESH, and tasted so good! The salt and pepper chicken really has a nice twist to it with the onion , jalapeños, and chili pepper sprinkles! The fish and shrimp were batter perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. The fries have a tasty seasoning on them as well. The wings were also seasoned just right and fried to perfection. I didn’t mind waiting the extra minutes to assure that. I highly recommended this place to anyone in this area! GREAT JOB JT’s! I wish I lived closer, but definitely would drive 45 minutes to come back!

Smitty’s Restaurant St James – Menu with Prices – 1017 St James St, Winnipeg

Tuesday and Thursday wing nights at Smitty’s…a favourite of many in this city. Compared to other places, at 6 wings for $2.64 (which works out to $0.44 each), this is ridiculously cheap! The wings are smaller but I don’t mind and come breaded or naked (non-breaded) with quite a few flavours. There’s hot, killer, cajun, salt & vinegar, electric honey, bbq, salt n pepper, sweet chili, lemon pepper, dry and a few more. The “killer” which is their spiciest wing was super lame…so Smitty’s is not the place for spicy wings at all. The killer flavour was more salty than spicy – boo! I loved their salt ‘n pepper flavour as it goes well with my beer – Keith’s Red for $4.55. The sweet chile was pretty good without being too sweet. Service here is hit and miss…not sure if they were understaffed or just slow but it takes a little time to get refills and additional wing orders. This place gets pretty busy past 7 pm as there was a line up waiting to get into the lounge. Granted there was a Jets game on as well as being a Thursday night. The lounge looks way nicer than the Grant and Pembina location as the decor is newer. It’s still a sports bar feel to it but everything looked clean and nice. But you definitely can’t beat this place for value for beer and wings. Casual feel where you can hang out with a group of friends.

Wings and Tea Cafe – Menu with Prices – 10709 Town Center Dr #110, Rancho Cucamonga

Came here for some wings for the cross rival Lakers-Clippers game. And wanted to try a different place other than wingstop. So after some research I decided to give this place a go. I went with 80 bone in wings, and it came out to about $70 which is a tad on the high side. Placed the order over the phone, and the lady over the phone was really nice. Actual restaurant is right next to the terra vista movie theater, and is pretty small inside. By the time I got there, 30 min later the wings were ready. Customer service is on point. They even seperated all the different flavors with foil and even labeled each one so we knew which flavor is which, which was really nice. They even gave me a large box to carry them in which is just so thoughtful!! The chicken wings were well cooked. Tender and moist. Not dry at all. Actual skin was crisp and well seasoned. I tried several of their flavors including thai chili, mango habanero, lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, honey garlic and buffalo garlic. Flavors were all solid. Mango habanero was spicy but not as hot as the ones at wingstop. The honey garlic was really good as well, lemon pepper slightly too salty. Thai chili had a nice kick to it. Overall, this is a solid wing place, and it doesn’t hurt to have some boba and tea drinks to go with it too. Wouldn’t mind coming here again for my chicken wing fix. Solid place here in the heart of Rancho Cucamonga!!!

Crump’s Fish & Wings – Menu with Prices – 3112 S Mendenhall Rd, Memphis

By all means AVOID THIS PLACE! nothing special about this place but the art work on the wall.I ordered the three(3) wing special with season fries during the lunch hour. It took 20 minutes before the order came up to the window. The female received the order open the container and said Oh these are season, you ordered lemon pepper. She gave the container back to the man in the kitchen. He then took a container of lemon pepper season and shook it all over the wings and handed her the container back to her.I should have gone with my first mind and went to ‘Memphis Best Wings’ across the street……but NOOOOOO I was try to avoid the crowd. Any who this place will NEVER get another penny of my money. The cook from hell needs to go back to training!

American Deli – Menu with Prices – 1010 Summit Ave, Greensboro

Ordered lunch here for the time. Upon walking into the restaurant I did notice how clean it was from the front entrance. I received great customer service and the time it took to get my food was about 12 minutes after I ordered. The food was made to order and it was very tasty. The bread for the Philly was fresh and warm. The pepper and onions were cooked and seasoned the steak had great flavor and the lemon pepper wet wings were just great! I was very surprised! I even was able to sprinkle lemon pepper sprinkles on my fries for extra flavor and they gave me extra lemon pepper wet sauce to put on my fries! Overall I was impressed with this restaurant and my choice in food. I only wish the wings were bigger and slightly more crunchy. I highly recommend you try this place for lunch!
