There’s a pretty good Muslim presence in this area, so suffice to say Halal Wings did their homework and is a welcoming site for this locale. Their other location is in the middle of the Tenderloin in SF, holla! All meats are halal and they offer wings, much like Wing Stop. Also offer burgers and chicken sandwiches. Fast Food Set-up as this used to be a KFC for yeaaaarrrrssss. They did a decent job at giving it a more modern look. Tried a couple of flavors on the wings. They have different sizes, starts at 12 pieces for about $9. You can add another sauce for every 12 wings. Wings come with ranch. Though it states you order wings by the number, it is more likely you are getting it rather by weight. Instead of getting 12 wings, we all got much more, like closer to 20. Now they were smaller than what we get else where. But it did get them nice and crisp without drying out the interior. But they were like 2-3 bite wings. This is a key point here, as some may not mind it, but some may have fits and think they’re getting cheated. I was totally fine with it, even though I joked once saying “these are some damn good hummingbird wings huh?!” Original Spicy (4*) These are your basic Buffalo style. Not as vinegar-y as some get, which is a plus. Spice, totally not hot, even though it says it is second from their spiciest level, which is the Mango Habanero. It does have a good red chile flavor, but it is also pretty salty, which is more normal than not. I could of eaten the full amount but the salt was just getting to me about 1/2 way through. I muscled 3/4 of it. If I would of been watching a game and drinking beer, I would of finished it, in the course of an hour though. Spicy Lemon Pepper (4*) They have a regular lemon pepper as well. This seemed like normal lemon pepper, but with a dusting of red pepper in the mix, probably cayenne is my bet. It does offer a zing, but again, is NOT spicy. It seems to have more of a “buttery” coating than say Wing Stop. It does make it tasty, but it also makes it a tad more “greasy”. Jones St. Burger ($10/2*) I had to get this because I think I’ve been offered illegal goods on Jones St. SF, which is where they’re first location is at. The name got me. This is their ‘cheese burger’. Nice looking burger. Thick and compact. Nice bun, nice well browned thick halal burger patty. But the patty was far from a normal burger. It tasted like an Afghani Chapli Kabob, which is a seasoned ground beef kabob. The meat tasted of garlic, red pepper and salt. It was crazy tasty, but unfortunately it was also cooked pretty dry. The bun looked great also, definitely a good notch above your standard fast food bun. It almost looked wheat-like in color. But it too was dry, not sure it was from the toast, or just a staler piece of bread. After 1/2 of the sandwich, I just removed the top bun and ate it open face style. For the price, it also comes with fries. They are the thin, frozen type. Not my fave, but mandatory to eat a few, whilst munching on a burger. Probably wouldn’t come back for a sandwich, but I would definitely come back and get some wings for take-out. Most probably for a game to watch with the buds. Football season, come on down! And we will definitely have beer no matter whose house were at, which they don’t have here.

America’s Best Wings – Menu with Prices – 3628 Frankford Rd #290, Dallas

I went to America’s Best Wings on 11/16/17 8:37pm this was my first time eating here. They were pretty busy there were a lot of people coming in and picking up orders while i was there. I got the 10 piece bone in chicken wings, I got 5 in the flavor hot lemon pepper and the remaining 5 in moon dust which is a dry rub. They were both good tasting wings but they didn’t taste at all like the man at the register described them he said moon dust would be sweet it wasn’t sweet at all and of course Hot lemon pepper is a spicy lemon pepper but to me it just tasted like chicken wings with oregano seasoning and not spicy at all. My boyfriend got the bacon cheeseburger and he said he like it. The place was clean and the two gentleman that were working the cash registers were very nice and polite. I even saw them give another customer a taste of one of their wings flavorings to make sure he was ordering the right one since he couldn’t remember the name. Would i come back…. yes i would but it wouldn’t be my first choice of places to eat. Their open pretty late 10pm i think so it would be everything else i want to eat is closed situation.

Hot Wings Express – Menu with Prices – 1142 Fort Benning Rd # D, Columbus

This place is a hole in the wall kind of joint, but they have amazingly flavored wings. We ordered lemon pepper, garlic parmesan and medium spicy wings. I ordered 6pc of each and they gave me extra pieces of each! And the flavor was amazing! The lemon pepper was delicious and the medium spicy was not too salty. Ooh!!! And the fries were so tasty! The owners are a Korean couple, pretty friendly, super efficient and fast.

Lord of the wings – Menu with Prices – 6436 Pacific Ave, Stockton

*DRUM ROLL PLEASE* …… Soooo let me just put this out there , i absolutely love fried chicken ! i truly do & i love it even more when it’s cooked and fried right . i’m probably the pickiest person when it comes to chicken because it has to have that good crispy crunch on the outside . but when you bite into it , it has that good tender meat on the inside . OF COURSE from the reviews this place comes highly recommended . and it’s always refreshing to see black owned businesses and ones that are reasonably priced . i brought my kids along with me after procrastinating for a few days . i will admit i do love the lemon pepper chicken , it’s actually really good . it has the right amount of lemon pepper seasoning to it as well . i will come back for those for sure . i bought two 10 pieces : bbq , teriyaki , lemon pepper of course and garlic parmesan . BBQ wings : flavor wise it was 8/10 , it was a tad on the spicy side but it’s okay Teriyaki wings : flavor wise 8/10 . Lemon Pepper wings : flavor wise 10/10 Garlic Parmesan wings : flavor wise 7/10 – i wasn’t a big fan of the garlicky after taste . overall the wings were great ! my kids loved them & my husband said they taste like wings he would cook so that’s a huge plus ! i will definitely come back to this one to continue to support . somebody put these people on diners drive ins and dives !!!

Gourmet Burger – Menu with Prices – 2431 N Tustin Ave suite R2, Santa Ana

This little mom-and-pop shop has some real good burgers. My partner and I eat here from time to time as it is our favorite halal burger place in the area. His go-to order is the spicy burger and mine is the sautéed mushroom burger. We always get our burgers protein style/lettuce-wrapped, which I recommend eating on-the-spot as lettuce wraps can go limp real fast. Their burgers are fresh and tasty with the perfect amount of melted cheese. Lettuce and jalapeños are always crisp. My partner likes the thickness of the patties, but I personally like a patty on the thicker side. No worries though, as you can always request for a double patty. Recently, we ordered their gourmet wings coated in their house-made sauce. The wings were juicy, crunchy, and flavorful. Halfway through our meal, one of the cooks came up to us and apologized because we were only served five wings instead of six. We had no idea and so she gave us the one chicken wing we were apparently missing. She was really apologetic about it but we were totally unaware and appreciated her going out of her way to give us what she thought we deserved. It was really sweet of her to do that, but we really had no idea, and it made us love this place a little more than we already do.

Smitty’s Restaurant St James – Menu with Prices – 1017 St James St, Winnipeg

Tuesday and Thursday wing nights at Smitty’s…a favourite of many in this city. Compared to other places, at 6 wings for $2.64 (which works out to $0.44 each), this is ridiculously cheap! The wings are smaller but I don’t mind and come breaded or naked (non-breaded) with quite a few flavours. There’s hot, killer, cajun, salt & vinegar, electric honey, bbq, salt n pepper, sweet chili, lemon pepper, dry and a few more. The “killer” which is their spiciest wing was super lame…so Smitty’s is not the place for spicy wings at all. The killer flavour was more salty than spicy – boo! I loved their salt ‘n pepper flavour as it goes well with my beer – Keith’s Red for $4.55. The sweet chile was pretty good without being too sweet. Service here is hit and miss…not sure if they were understaffed or just slow but it takes a little time to get refills and additional wing orders. This place gets pretty busy past 7 pm as there was a line up waiting to get into the lounge. Granted there was a Jets game on as well as being a Thursday night. The lounge looks way nicer than the Grant and Pembina location as the decor is newer. It’s still a sports bar feel to it but everything looked clean and nice. But you definitely can’t beat this place for value for beer and wings. Casual feel where you can hang out with a group of friends.

Wings on Fire – Menu with Prices – 9040 E Valencia Rd Ste 100, Tucson

This is a new wing place that opened right by my house so I thought I’d give it a try. Honestly the wings were pretty good. I ordered a combo of 10 boneless wings with lemon pepper and parmesan as well as a combo of 10 traditional wings with lemon pepper and hot. Both combos came with a smalldrink, fries, and some celery and carrots. I give this a four star because it’s pretty pricy. Both combos cost almost $30 ($27 to be exact). Also the wings felt a little bit under cooked. However, I would visit again. Update: 5 stars. This is my go to wing place since it’s very conveniently close to my house. The staff are extremely friendly and I love the wings.

The Buffalo Spot Menu with Prices 1707 N Collins St Suite 121, Arlington

Walking into this restaurant, I really thought it was a wingstop. The interior layout just gave me wingstop vibes. Anyways, this is a newly opened restaurant in Arlington, TX. It’s located in a pretty huge plaza with tons of other restaurants and dessert shops. There are tons of parking spots in front of the restaurant. Food wise, the wings were okay. They were pretty average in my opinion. We ordered the family tradition wings pack. The pack came with 4 small drinks, 50 wings with 4 flavors, your choice of bread sticks or fries, and ranch to dip. If you wanted veggies you would have had to pay extra. Its also 60 cents extra if you wanted an extra wing sauce or wing sauce on the side. The sauces that we got for the wings are lemon pepper, original hot, jalapeños pineapple, and caribbean jerk. Lemon pepper tasted more lemony than peppery. The lemon pepper at this location were wet based compared to dry based lemon pepper at wingstop. Original hot was a pretty good basic buffalo sauce. If you’re looking for spicy then I would recommend getting Atomic hot. It’s a spicier version of the original buffalo sauce. Jalapeños pineapple was my personal favorite. It wasn’t spicy for anyone who can’t eat spicy. It was fruity and tangy. It was a sauce that many other wing places did not have. If you’re willing to try a fruity kind of wing sauce then I would really recommend this one! Lastly, Caribbean jerk just reminded me of asian zing from Buffalo Wild Wings. It was average and nothing really special. Overall, I like that they were able to accommodate my party of 10. The wings were just warm, it didn’t taste like they were just made. They were pretty mediocre. It wasn’t anything special. However, they’re apparently well known for their buffalo fries. We got the buffalo fries in garlic parmesan and it was actually really good! The sauce was good, and the fries were thick and crispy. If I was going to come back, I would get these fries again!

American Deli – Menu with Prices – 1010 Summit Ave, Greensboro

Ordered lunch here for the time. Upon walking into the restaurant I did notice how clean it was from the front entrance. I received great customer service and the time it took to get my food was about 12 minutes after I ordered. The food was made to order and it was very tasty. The bread for the Philly was fresh and warm. The pepper and onions were cooked and seasoned the steak had great flavor and the lemon pepper wet wings were just great! I was very surprised! I even was able to sprinkle lemon pepper sprinkles on my fries for extra flavor and they gave me extra lemon pepper wet sauce to put on my fries! Overall I was impressed with this restaurant and my choice in food. I only wish the wings were bigger and slightly more crunchy. I highly recommend you try this place for lunch!

Lucky’s Burger & Brew Marietta – Menu with Prices – 68 North Marietta Pkwy NW Suite 102, Marietta

Overall…good and filling. The Market place offers a variety of eateries that can accommodate just about any craving you have. We just so happened to be craving burgers when we came in today. Service: our server was friendly. Minimal interaction as you order at the counter. Once you get a text alerting you that your food is ready you just pick it up and find a seat. Food: my friend and I bought got the Georgia Dawg Pounder (fried pimento cheese ball, spicy red pepper jelly, mayonnaise, and 7oz burger). The burger itself was good. Very heavy. I took my cheeseball out to eat separately while my friend happened to squish his down on the burger. It was filling, but just a little too much. Now the burger is said to come with spicy red pepper jelly that I didn’t really taste at all. So our burger really just tasted like a regular burger to me. I did like how the lettuce, tomato, and pickles came on the side so if you didn’t happen to care to much for those toppings you didn’t have to put it on your burger. An issue we had was that my friend barely had any seasoning on his fries, while as mine was way too salty. 3/5- I would eat here again if I really wanted a burger. But it was a bit overpriced for what we paid. Drinks had to be ordered separate from the burger set. I usually tend to stick to the other options the Market has to offer.

Wings and Tea Cafe – Menu with Prices – 10709 Town Center Dr #110, Rancho Cucamonga

Came here for some wings for the cross rival Lakers-Clippers game. And wanted to try a different place other than wingstop. So after some research I decided to give this place a go. I went with 80 bone in wings, and it came out to about $70 which is a tad on the high side. Placed the order over the phone, and the lady over the phone was really nice. Actual restaurant is right next to the terra vista movie theater, and is pretty small inside. By the time I got there, 30 min later the wings were ready. Customer service is on point. They even seperated all the different flavors with foil and even labeled each one so we knew which flavor is which, which was really nice. They even gave me a large box to carry them in which is just so thoughtful!! The chicken wings were well cooked. Tender and moist. Not dry at all. Actual skin was crisp and well seasoned. I tried several of their flavors including thai chili, mango habanero, lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, honey garlic and buffalo garlic. Flavors were all solid. Mango habanero was spicy but not as hot as the ones at wingstop. The honey garlic was really good as well, lemon pepper slightly too salty. Thai chili had a nice kick to it. Overall, this is a solid wing place, and it doesn’t hurt to have some boba and tea drinks to go with it too. Wouldn’t mind coming here again for my chicken wing fix. Solid place here in the heart of Rancho Cucamonga!!!

House of Wings & Boba Drinks Menu with Prices 3541 Panama Ln #140, Bakersfield

This place has been on my radar for quite a while but I never pulled the trigger because Iâ??m pretty loyal to my usual favorite wing spot in town. But one day I had some time free after a photoshoot so I decided to give it a shot. I ordered a ten-piece lemon pepper because letâ??s be honestâ?¦ lemon pepper is the only flavor that matters. The wings were A-MAZING!! Hot, fresh, a good size, perfectly fried with the perfect amount of lemon-pepper. Could this be my new favorite wing spot? Well not so fastâ?¦ I like to give a new place at least three chance before I proclaim anything because anyone can have a good day and anyone can have a bad day, hits and misses happen everywhere.
