Fantastic neighborhood bar for you & dogs! It’s across the street from the B&O Railroad Museum. It’s close enough to walk to if you’re in the following neighborhoods: Pigtown, Hollins Market, & Union Square. If you drive, it’s easy to find free street parking. The bartenders/owners are very friendly and down to Earth. If you come alone, you can easily hold conversations with the bartenders, any of the friendly customers, or spend your time hanging out with Franklin– the chill bar dog. This spot is fantastic to meet up with friends. The bar itself is a decent size for being in a neighborhood surrounded by residential homes. You also won’t have to worry about shouting to have a conversation. The bar doesn’t play loud music and all the TVs are on mute– you’ll be able to watch different sports & funny videos. The bar offers food that’s different from your typical bar foods such as: burgers & wings. You should give the food menu a try, it’s a new experience if you’re used to the typical grub. I’ve always brought my dogs here and never felt unwelcome. The bartenders/owners are big dog lovers. I love bringing treats over for Franklin and my dogs to share. The bar is kept extremely clean and tidy even though dogs are welcomed. You don’t have to worry about any odors.

Chicago Munchies Fried & Grilled – Menu with Prices – 790 N Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo

There have been at least 2 or 3 other attempts at a food spot in this location in the 8 years I have been in Kalamazoo, with varying degrees of success. Obviously none of them were successful enough to last. THIS one has some serious potential. The format is a typical urban neighborhood food joint. Mostly fried foods such as chicken, fish, shrimp are the mainstays. They also serve a variety of sandwiches such as versions of the Philly steak, burgers, chicken, fish, polish, and even gyros! The menu is pretty deep for a corner shop. First impressions. Based on previous visits (former food spots) at this spot, I was expecting what I call “shabby hood chic” which is basically clean enough to pass inspection but obviously decor is not a priority. I was pleasantly surprised. The interior is very clean and well lit. The paint scheme is colorful. There is even a flat screen in the ceiling corner that was playing kid friendly movies. Approaching the counter I was immediately greeted by a very friendly counter person. She told me to take my time as I stated I wasn’t familiar with the menu. I ended up going with an old staple of mine – fried chicken wings. I use that as a litmus test for neighborhood joints. If they can’t do wings well, I’m not trying anything else! It took about 15 minutes or so to receive my order, although there were only 2 other people ahead of me. But that is to be expected, as it’s not “fast food” but more “cooked to order”. The chicken was absolutely great! The wings weren’t tiny. They were plump and juicy and the breading had just enough crunch. As typical, they tend to be heavy handed with the seasoning (unless you request them not to be), but I also typically like that. They have a small self serve area with additional seasonings and condiments, including a mysterious one labeled only as “crack”. It smelled tasty so I added that to my order. It tasted fantastic on the wings! I definitely plan to return to try some other items on the menu, although I was warned away from the catfish nuggets by a friend that preceded my visit to Chicago Munchies. According to him, the portion was HUGE but the nuggets were a bit over “hard” and there were bones. Bones in catfish nuggets is a deal breaker for me so I wont be trying them. But there is a whole menu of items I WILL be trying! Looks like Fish Express over on Riverside has a serious contender ? TIP: Parking can be tricky as the small lot is shared by a popular beauty shop/store an a credit union. There are usually open spots near the north entry of the lot, near the dumpster.

O’Leary’s Publik House – Menu with Prices – 788 Garfield Ave, Jersey City

It sure doesn’t look like much from the outside and the neighborhood is ugly industrial, but the bar inside is great. 11 taps of micro like Hoboken 902 and macro like Blue Moon, try a pint of Narragansett lager for just $3.50! Friendly fast service from the bartenders, order at the bar and they’ll shout when your food is ready. About a dozen parking spots out front, or walk here from the Garfield Street light rail station. I’m new here, old yelp reviews mention all kinds of interesting food that we didn’t see on the 2019 menu so idk. Now offering a few burgers, sandwiches, salads & snacks like bar pies and chili cheese fries. Eight wings for $8 were nice and hot with very good sauce. Also has a tiny fenced in outdoor seating area for good weather. Ignore the sign for McSorley’s beer. That’s just for show ?

AJâ??S Sports Bar & grill – Menu with Prices – 286 Academy Ave, Providence

Friendly atmosphere. Good Vibes. Wings are tasty. The beer….well beer is good anywhere but beer in an environment such as this one makes a beer even refreshing. Some if the prettiest bartenders in the business that know how to make mixed drinks responsibly. AJs Sports Bar & Grill is definitely one of Providence’s hidden gems.

Flying Pig Irish Pub – Menu with Prices – 3265 Brotherton Rd, Cincinnati

Great local place with friendly bartenders. They just got new owners and renovated the place and it’s an incredible upgrade. Remodeled interior and added nice windows. I think they are working on a patio which will be awesome. Great for all sports and usually run deals of some sort. Always deals for FC Cincinnati games. The owner really knows soccer so he’s great to talk to. He’s is open to ideas so anything people want, you should suggest. They have chips, pretzels and snacks, but you can bring in food to eat while you’re there. They also sometimes grill complementary hot dogs on weekends or for games. They have had a guy come BBQ great ribs too for cheap! Pretty large selection of craft beer and many on tap. Overall pretty awesome place to hang out and might be my new favorite local place. Nice to not have to pay $5+ for a beer…I’m looking at you Mad Tree.

é???è?ç?? – Menu with Prices – 5600 W Colonial Dr, Orlando

To the owners, your prices are too high, it’s a rip off. listen to what your customer’s opinions to improve and fix those mistakes. A single kebab costs $2?? Most Chinatowns in America have them for $1 each or $1.25 at the most each for kebab. Drinks are overpriced. No tap water? Most of your signs are in Chinese and not in English? And to those who think there are sports on tv at this sports Bbq will be disappointed. There are no sports on their tv’s. Menu as of now is a bit chaotic, and barely have any idea of what to order. A customer could spend about $70-$100 and still leave hungry and unsatisfied. It may be better off going to an all you can eat buffet or just eat at home for much cheaper. This is more of a “snack bar”. Just pointing out the problems that owners need to fix.

To the Hoop Bar & Grill – Menu with Prices – 7912 State Ave, Kansas City

The bar is a small neighborhood bar, that’s located on a busy street, where locals meetup frequently. They have daily specials and karaoke on Wednesday. The first time I went, I was in the area an thought if give it a try. I ordered a drink, which was pretty good. It was made by the owners wife, Sonya. On my second visit, I decided to stop in to pass time, since I was in the area. I must say the food isn’t hat great. I ordered buffalo wings which tasted more like spicy bbq. I asked for the wings to be tossed in more sauce, they did without hesitation but the wing sauce was cold, which made the wings colder (they were not hot from the start). My friend ordered the fish (basa) and fries. I was one filet…why they had to break it into 4 pieces. I’m not sure. Maybe it was to make it look like there was more but it was a bad move. Now, I can rave about the fried Oreos (2/$3), hey we’re very good. All in all, drinks and service is good. Maybe there’s more on the menu that’s better than what we had.

Devil Dogs Gourmet Hot Dogs – Menu with Prices – 43810 Butterfield Stage Rd #102, Temecula

I WISH I had discovered this place sooner!!!!!! Where to begin?!?! First of all, the location is great, not too much traffic here, plenty of parking. You step through the doors and you smell the yummy aromas of grilled dogs, hear the friendly laughter of neighborhood friends enjoying a game or some Nascar in this case, some beer and a gourmet dog! Loved it. Loved the friendly customer service and to TOP IT ALL OFF, They have VEGAN veggie dogs and Impossible Burgers for me!!!!!! I want to hug the owner, thank you for offering a little something for us vegetarians / plant based Vegans! My kids had the Chicago Dog, the Nathan’s Build Your Own, and a Veggie Dog! The MOST important thing about this review:. You can afford to eat here OFTEN! It is just so affordable!!!! I recommend you get sides and drinks as well. I can’t wait to go back and try the Impossible Burger!!!

Tinker Food Truck – Menu with Prices – 3300 SW Archer Rd, Gainesville

A food truck that reiterates that their customers are family is the most heart warming thing a customer can hear. I came here opening day and have been back too many times that I’ve lost count. And with every experience it gets better and better! The burgers and hot dogs are colosal and flavorful with every bite! I order a beef burger with everything on it and all the flavors blend harmoniously. If it’s raining, they have tents set up. If it’s really raining, you can order your food for pick up! Located behind the shell gas station, the word Tinker brightens up your drive as you come across it on Archer Road. And they most certainly brighten up my day and belly each time! They recently added Nutella tequeños and Chicha (a rice pudding drink) to their menu and wow these are must try and order when you have a sweet tooth! Prices are all less than $10. The owners are actually related to the owner of Arepas Milko. Tinker creates a family friendly life of the party vibe with its Hispanic music blaring out loud. If you want a break from Arepas, definitely give Venezuelan burgers and hot dogs a try. You will not be disappointed. They are also active on their Instagram account! Side note: they also sell small arepas if you decide to get a craving for them right then and there. I encourage you to come try out Tinker and who knows maybe you’ll become family too!

Gert’s Grille – Menu with Prices – 12018 College Blvd, Overland Park

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It is a small sports bar type place and I expected typical sports bar food. I got the grilled PB&J and it was anything but typical. The portion size was large and I was only able to eat half the sandwich, which worked out because everyone else with me wanted to try it since it looked so good. We all still talk about how amazing that sandwich was. The only downside of this place is that since it is so small, the tables and booths are very close together and it was very loud with all the people talking and TVs going.

wings 18 Menu with Prices 2329 Romig Rd, Akron

Just stopped at Wings 18 on Romig Rd. With all the construction going on at 11:30 there was hardly anyone there. Ordered the wings and a burger for two of us. The burger was fresh and huge. One of the tastiest burgers I have tasted in a long time. Served with onion petals that were hand breaded and fantastic. The 12 wings were split between 2 sauces which were home made and really tasty. After talking to the owner who checked on us at least 4 times. They are really friendly and trying very hard to please there diners. All is homemade and delicious. The owner is struggling because of the reduction in business that is due to the construction going on. If you have a few extra minutes for traffic please help support s local business who is trying hard to make a difference. You will love the food and the friendly owner and employees. If he has to close there will be caring people who will be out of jobs and another vacant building. We all need to help that does not happen.
