My car needed an oil change, so I took it to the Mr. Tire next door to Basilico. It made logical sense to walk over to check out the newish Italian fast-casual eatery/market during my wait. I walked in and the place was huge/bustling. Other folks were standing around looking at menus, so I walked up and grabbed one myself. I landed on the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with a side of mac and cheese fairly easily, so I placed my order, took a number, and grabbed a seat at a two-top. It didn’t take long at all for my food to arrive (on par with somewhere like Panera, to give you an idea). I was surprised when an associate stopped by to check on me a bit later also — typically when I dine solo no one bothers to speak to me, so that was a super nice surprise. Prices were reasonable. Menu was expansive. You could definitely “create your own adventure” here. It’s not crazy original food by any means, but it’s good quality and nicely filling. I’d return if I’m in the area again.

Planet Smoothie – Menu with Prices – 225 Palm Bay Road #189 Ste 189 W, Melbourne

Definitely not the friendliest place. I came in to get a smoothie with my husband and the minute we walked in the door the associate did not greet. He was looking down at the register doing something and as he finished he said when ever your ready let me know. I told him what my husband and I wanted and he proceeded to make it. After he rang us up, he gave my husband the receipt to sign and as my husband was signing he told the associate the pen was not working and the associate told my husband that why he gave him a pad to put the receipt on to write( maybe he should have said that in the beginning, instead of assuming we would know) as he was signing it the ink was very faint and he told the associate again and the associate took the pen and wrote on his hand saying it works with an attitude. We wanted to say something but, we didnâ??t want to embarrass him in front of the other customers. So this is what it resulted to writing a review. We were in there about 450pm to 5ish on May 27, 2019. The associate working was a male wearing glasses, mid heavy set Hispanic. This associate should not be working in a place that has to deal with customers with that attitude. He should learn some customer etiquette if he wants to continue working in a place that deals with customers 25/7.

Wake Technical Community College – Menu with Prices – 9101 Fayetteville Rd, Raleigh

very annoying my spouse went in there 3 times for nothing. she just wanted general information regardinging certification classes. first time she went in there they said they needed her transcripts to he able to speak to somone like an advisor. second time they made her do an application and asked for more information she didnt have with her, why they didnt tell her in the first place is beyond me. third time she sits down with an advisor and they gave her price for a classes but couldnt give her details regarding the programs. throughout this whole process multiple people approached her as though they were selling off of commission. the advisor couldnt even tell her if the courses are for preparation for the certification, do get a certification with these courses and if they even offer the certification test? waste of time. period. and fyi if your going to have advisors and staff trying to sell students atleast have a better process as well as make sure they are prepared with information when questions are asked. Lastly, after all of this can you believe they enrolled her classes! the bs. i swear. not even telling her they enrolled her in classes for an associate’s program when she had informed everyone along the way that she has already graduated with a BBA. cant believe this.

Panera Bread – Menu with Prices – 941 N Central Expy, Plano

Twice now I have visited this Panera Bread, and twice I’ve been disappointed. 1st time – 6:30 am – On the way to work, stopped to order an everything bagel/cream cheese – they didn’t have any. ‘Someone came in and gave them a big order – they didn’t have any bagels left’. That was the excuse. Um, you’re in the bagel business. So I ordered a quiche, which was good, but was not what I really wanted. 2nd time – I placed an order on Wednesday 6/5, of two bagel packs, and paid for the order at that time. I asked for the order to be ready at 6:45 am on Friday 6/7. At just about 6:40 am on Friday 6/7, Panera called me and said they wouldn’t have my order ready. They had several orders to fill that day. Could I wait and pick it up later? No, I ordered it two days ago and I’m on my way to work. I asked what they had available – they had 10 bagels. I had to cancel my order and figure out something else. Again, they are in the bagel business and I ordered two days ahead of time. Very frustrating. We ended up going to Einstein’s Bagels, who had bagel packs ready to go for quick service. Which I appreciated, and what I would expect from any business like this that caters to breakfast. I called Panera a little later that morning, pressed ‘5’ to get to a manager. ‘Grace’ answered and identified herself as a manager, but I’m 100% certain she wasn’t. She couldn’t help me, said she would speak to her manager about it (Kelly) and have her call me ‘when she got in’ around 10 am. First of all – at 10 am, your morning rush is over. So I’m not sure why or how a manager shows up at 10 am. Second of all – to this date, I have never received a call from Kelly or any other manager. I did get a refund from Panera. But I will never use this location ever again. They obviously haven’t figured out how to plan and serve their customers that want bagels in the morning. They could take a lesson from Einstein’s!

Planet Wings – Menu with Prices – 698 Arthur Kill Rd, Staten Island

I wish i could give them no stars!! I have ordered from here a number of times because my husband likes the wings here. However, every single time i order weather it be dine in, pick up or delivery they always mess up my order. I typically order the buffalo grilled chicken wrap with NO CELERY AND NO BLUE CHEESE. The same way everytime. Im allergic to celery and blue cheese. Well yesterday my husband wanted to dine in . So we got there around 7:15pm and Maynor took my order. I ordered the wrap and said twice (as the guy was talking over me every time i spoke) NO CELERY AND NO BLUE CHEESE etc…Annoyed he shakes his head and says i got it. The order comes out , i look at my wrap and there is Celery all inside of it. When i told the guy he gets nasty and says you never said it .. I said yes i did it was one of the first things i said to you.. He continues to say i didnt say it and i said so your going to argue with me over this? I turn to my husband as this nasty sob is still saying i never said it and he my husband confirms i said it. Just as im saying ya no what since its a problem just give me my money back he says ill have them make a new one. I heard him tell them just pick it off. I said i have an allergy please make a new one and he nodded his head. My food came out two minutes later. The fries dried out and hard from being under the lamp and my wrap was taken apart and the celery was picked out. I ate half of it and broke out in hives. I had to go home and take a Benadryl because i was having an allergic reaction to the wrap that the celery touched. THIS PLACE IS A DUMP! They cant even get an order right! Do yourself a favor go to another location or 494 chicken.

Telliniâ??s – Menu with Prices – 1515 Perimeter Pkwy NW, Huntsville

I typically love tellini’s however, this last visit made me very skeptical. They got my order completely wrong. When I brought their attention to the situation the manager came to the window, she asked what the problem was and I proceeded to tell her everything wrong with my order. She had a very rude tone and manner, as she asked for my entire order back so she could check it. She “informed” me i was wrong that was the correct order. I was missing one meal completely, I ordered chili which she said they didnt even have that night. So I fed up with the situation, just gave up and left. I really wish they would get in better staff!! Because I’m extremely upset. Like I said TYPICALLY I LOVE THEM!

Sacrificial Lamb Kabobs & Wraps – Menu with Prices – 1704 R St NW, Washington

Not impressed with the food and the price. I was here on business for a week and frequent Kebab establishments quite often in the DC metro area. I should have listened to my local friends but decided to venture into the unknown. This order is for take out delivery order so I cannot speak on behalf of the dine in experience. Upon receiving the combo kebab dinner I ordered, I can immediately tell the meat of lamb beef and chicken were either hanging out for too long, over cooked, or re-heated. The pictures speak for themselves. An advice to the establishment would be to ensure delivery/take out orders are treated and given the same amount of attention to dine in. I personally felt that these were scraps or meat put together because either it was left over or the meat has been hanging out for too long. They would know in a heartbeat this food would be rejected in a dine in situation. Please treat all customers ordering from your establishment equally in the quality of the food you provide. D.C. area is not in a shortage of great ethnic food and this place certainly does not make the cut. I may try it one last time to solidify my decision when I’m in town again as I always give restaurants a second chance. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me..there is no third time.

Panera Bread – Menu with Prices – 6807 Milwaukee Ave, Lubbock

I have tried the Panera on Milwaukee three times now. My experience was similar all three times: good food, limited selection, and medicore service. Service first: they make no effort to be friendly, aren’t consistently at the register, and aren’t helpful. My last visit I walked in to the counter looking at the bagel selection. The manager was on the far register and made no effort to greet me or ask if he could help. The time it takes to get an order varies. It has ranged from reasonable to very slow. They seem to do the minimum to run the store. To give credit the store is clean and neat, they do make an effort there. Second, the selection: I only go for breakfast so I don’t know about the full menu. For breakfast it looks like they are nearly sold out no matter when I go. Half the bagel bins are empty and the pastry selection is maybe one-third of the selection in other stores. The coffee service has been inconsistent: the pots have been empty, lukewarm, and hot on my three visits. The food quality is good, comparable to any other Panera I have been to.

Rick?s Cheesesteak Shop – Menu with Prices – 12971 Jefferson Ave, Newport News

I only gave it two stars because the food at least was decent. The service however was terrible. I walk into the door and the lady at the register says “Pickup for Shani??” I say “No, sorry I didnt place a pickup order.” She says “Oh, what would you like?” I place my order. She doesn’t offer to upsell me fries and a drink. She doesnt ask if I’m dining in. So I took it upon myself to ask, “can I get fries and a drink with that? And does it come with free refills if I dine in?” She says “Yeah it’ll be $4.99 more. ” She rings me up and I pay. I go sit down at a table. She calls out to me that my drink is ready. I guessed they didnt do “waiting” services since she called me upâ?..so I walked back up to get my drink. She gives me warm sweet tea in a styrofoam cup with about 5 pieces of melting ice in it. So I walk BACK up again to ask for just a cup of ice. She gives it to me in a regular “dine in” cup. Im perplexed. After about 10 minutes she calls me up again to get my food. Its all super wrapped up and in a to go bag. Again I’m perplexed. The food portion was huge, and it wasnt even cut in half so I couldnt fathom eating it without a fork. So again I walk up and ask for silverware. She hands me one fork. I said “Im sorry but do you have a knife?” She breathes deep and then reaches for the knife as if it was wearing her down to give me a friggin knife with my fork.â?.I go back to my table, sit down, unwrap my food and proceed eat. So another guy walks in (white guy). She greets him. “Hi sir, how are you today will this be for here or to go?” He says to go. He orders and she says “are you military or student?” He says no. She charges him. He gets his food and leaves. Another customer walks in. (Older white gentleman) She greets him “Hi sir how are you is this for here or to go?” He says “For here.” She takes his order and get this…. brings his drink out to him, brings his food to him in a cute little dine in basket and asks him does he need anything else. Whhhaaaaattt??? She literally came out from behind the counter and checked on him AT LEAST 2 or 3 more times!!!!! Oh and then she comes over to me and says ” you all good hun? do you need more tea” Im disgusted. Is it a race thing? Is it just bad judgement based on my appearance? (Young, black, etc.) Idk. But for her info I am a 30 year old dental hygienist, wife, & mother of 2 who just so happens to have a military ID (and would have appreciated the discount for my husbands service) as well as the proper dining in treatment/service!!! I’m disgusted. I wont be returning. And I will be telling everyone I know. Thats 5,000 facebook friends and 8,000 instagram followers alone. â?â?â?â?

Rheas Hot Links – Menu with Prices – 201-229 South Oakland Avenue, 204 S Fannin Ave, Tyler

Well today, I went to hot link place for my husband to take to his job. Normally the ladies are great always. But, we have noticed the last 3 visits havnt been that plesant from just (1) employee. But, we will still speak but her attitude us nonchalant. Anyway, today she came to window, didnt speak, and I ordered. Then came back gave me price and I gave her my card. Told her the chip doesn’t work as I handed to her. She looked at me, and still took it. About 5mins later, she comes back and says, my card dont work. Well, 1st of all, it works fine but the reason I told her in advance is for her to do it as credit or without chip usage. Anyway, i told her, I will give her cash. She handed her hand out for my cash, but still had my debit card. I told her to give my card 1st, then I gave her a $50 bill. She took a min and came back with $26 change. I looked at her funny and asked where my receipt she said since I didnt pay with card, I cant get a receipt. I asked how much was it again, she looked at me with a attitude and said, its right. $13 from $50 is $26 and I told her its incorrect and then she shut window on me and started talking to other worker. I bought 14 links, which she gave him the smallest links in there and a strawberry fanta, no ice. Maybe she gaving a bad day. But, lately she has acted this way. Idk way, i haven’t done anything to her and idk her either well. I drove around to front door, went in with food and money. Told the smaller dark lady, who is always sweet and she asked what i bought, told her and still that lady tried to say, 50-13=26, and thats what i gave you. Well, im not dumb, but I know how to count. So instead of arguing, i pulled out my phn to calculator, then she hurried up and said, or yea..I owe you $10. Laid it on counter and walked away. I told my hubby when i took him the food and he tut old me to report it. He said, he was proud of me, cause normally i goes off about my money. But, I have grown alot and tries to be better. She still had a attutude, vut you tried to CHEAT ME, but mad at me. I dont get that. How many people does, she do like this daily that she THINKS, DONT COUNT THEIR MONEY. My husband is bad about not counting his, but I DONT PLAY LIKE THAT. He eats at Rheas at least weekly, and before he had his seizures last yr. He ate 3 times a week faithfully on lunch break of after work. Smh at her.

Campbell Donuts Menu with Prices 882 W Lincoln Ave, Anaheim

Randomly stopped by Campbell’s on my way to a friends house. Really surprised with how good their donuts were. In my opinion, the maple bars and twists are top notch… and I’m picky. Owners speak very little english so I took it upon myself to set up their store on yelp. Try this place out everyone!!! Wishing the owners the best!!! Hope this brings in more business!!!

ON FLEEK THREADING SALON – Menu with Prices – 5225 Tacoma Mall Blvd STE E103, Tacoma

I needed my brows done and was nowhere near my normal threader. So decided to give this place a try. If you want anything other than a drag queen thin brow DO NOT trust them with your brows. My exact request was this; “leave them as thick as you can and don’t touch the length. I basically just want them lightly cleaned up.” I also asked to have them tinted. She said she understood and proceeded to thread. The first brow didnt look amazing but nothing you can do once the hair is removed. I reiterated what I wanted and she started on the other brow. She kept stopping to check her work and on about the 4th time of her stopping and wanting to start again I asked for a mirror. She had literally taken 3/4 of my thickness off. It was insane that she was planning to take more off. If I hadnt stopped her I would have no tail left. One side had no arch just a straight line and the other one is an uneven scraggly arch. She asked if I wanted my brows tinted black!!! WTF?! Black? You can see by my pic that I am not even close to having black hair. I declined the tint and told her that my brows werent at all what I had asked for. She didnt have much to say. I paid and even tipped because Im not an a-hole but would never recommend this place. Not even to my enemies. I was having a girls weekend and when my friends saw me they were all assuring me they didn’t look bad at all. Things changed after I washed my face and my brow pencil off. They were all horrified at how bare my brows are and how each one has a different shape. Im known for having great brows. Not so much after one visit here. Should have known when I walked in on Saturday afternoon and the place was empty. Every great threading salon is packed on Saturdays. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place.

Aomi Japanese Restaurant Menu with Prices 2725 Old Milton Pkwy Suite A, Alpharetta

I arrived a little after 4:30 and it was not busy, I was not expecting much but the sushi was above acceptable and I was really craving it. Being solo I asked to sit at the bar that was in front of the entrance. (The only bar I could see from there which was very small) Food came out pretty quick and while I waited on my 3rd order a small roach made its appearance and walked right in front of my plate. My first instinct was to squish it with the soy sauce bottle but it failed so when it went in the bar area where the bar mat is I poured soy sauce in there and on it in hopes it drowns. The server came out as this took place and he saw the dying bug still flopping around in soy. He proceeded to remove the mats, and I noticed some of he mats on the far right were stuck to the wooden bar area, like they had not been lifted to clean under for a long time! He asked me if I wanted to seat at the other bar (nobody told me when i arrived there was another bar) Being the food he brought me came in after the incident and I was hungry I ate it quick. I had the “heeve jeeves” and couldn’t really sit still in that spot as I worried more could emerge! so I stood up and asked for the check. I assumed he would had the courtesy of giving me a discount but no. I had to ask! and then it was 10%. Really. At least 25/50% off for the dining experience! The manager declined any further discount. I almost walked into the hibachi area and told all the patrons what happened but I am going to leave this here. The incident definitely does not incite a desire for my return. I was eating solo and did not expect the company of a mini roach that’s for sure. I had never been there before so yeah, NOPE again
