Understand. I’m a beer nut. Just scroll back on a few of my reviews and you will understand. I think I’ve been to so many breweries n craft beer spots that I’m not easily impressed. Now I don’t mind that most of the bartenders here do not let you taste any of the Taps without paying for a 4oz taster. That’s becoming more of the norm at these type of places. I do mind that until the third time I was here I didn’t even know there was a Rewards program. By this time I had spent probably a good $60 here. Not only that. Only certain bartenders ask for your Rewards phone number. I have forgotten at least another two times that I went to the counter and maybe paid cash for 1 round so I’m out a good bit of points. I don’t like that there’s nowhere to kind of sit around the counter. I’m kind of used to that at craft beer places in DFW like Bru City and Pouring Glory. You can interact and learn so much more about beers that way. There is community seating but the five times I’ve been there most of the people there come with a group and kind of look at you funny when you ask them about the beers they are drinking. Just not what I’m used to. Most craft beer drinkers are very Interactive. No food here but it is in a shopping plaza but with the Starbucks and kind of high end seafood place. I didn’t see a whole lot to grab and bring back. The prices to me are just a little bit high unless you get a growler filled. I have been at what time I considered to be happy hour and I wasn’t notified of any drink specials or Growler fill specials so I’m guessing they don’t have any? Most beers that I drink are $6 and up for a pint so doesn’t really make me come out my way to come here except it’s only 3.3 miles from my hotel. My other issue is if you open a tab they put a $25 hold on your card that takes about 3 days to clear. This is an addition to whatever your tab is. So for example I had an $11 tab but a $36 hold on my card with the $25. That just seems excessive. I don’t mind $5 or even a $10 hold but for a beer place I think that’s high and if every place puts a $25 hold on your card over the weekend then you are going to have a lot of money deducted from your bank account pending til Tuesday or Wednesday. No one mentioned this when I opened a tab. Management was very quick to respond to this but you still have that amount pending on your account for 3 days. Since it is closer than Bru City or Bru Stadium I am hoping it will grow on me while I’m here but it’s just not my style

Half Barrel Beer Project – Menu with Prices – 9650 Universal Blvd #143, Orlando

I was staying on I-Drive out by Disney for the weekend and discovered a new craft beer bar that I had not yet had an opportunity to check out, and man was it worth it to do so. The atmosphere was very laid back with plenty of seating options, and they even have a world map where you can pin where you are from. They have an expansive draft list including their own beers and guest beers, and everything on tap were high quality beers and a unique selection of beers you wouldn’t normally find on tap elsewhere. They also have a large selection of canned on bottled beers which can be enjoyed in the tap room or taken to go (beers taken to go are given a $1 or $2 discount depending on their tier). The staff (Wesley, Chad, and Anthony) were extremely friendly and we had a lot of fun chatting with them about different beers and about different breweries and craft beer bars in the area and the rest of the state. They were able to recommend several beers to try in the tap room, as well as a few we took home. I was very impressed with their own beers that I tried from them (including a NEIPA, an imperial stout, and a brown ale). I was also really enjoyed the guest sour beers they recommended for me to try. If you enjoy craft beer, and finding local places to go I definitely recommend checking out Half Barrel if you are in the Orlando area. I really enjoyed my time here and will be coming back next time I’m in town. Cheers!

Fattey Beer Co. – Menu with Prices – 5 Genesee St, Buffalo

As we were having brunch at Raclettes, we saw people sitting next door drinking beers outside on wooden benches and that’s when we discovered Fattey Beer Co.’s craft beer store and tasting room. We drank a four beer flight from their rotating beer taps (they have 12), a beer recommended from their vintage beer refrigerator and another beer from their cooler. According to their website, they have over 500 beers to chose from. I personally didn’t count the beers, but based on my observation it certainly seems like there are that many available. They aim to “bring a relaxed craft beer experience to the neighborhood” and with the friendliness of the staff, the fact that they welcome dogs, the free popcorn, and ability to bring in your own food… I’d say they hit the mark. The place is a real standout among the “run of the mill” drinking establishments on Chippewa and the surrounding area. A few highlights include: â??- 500+ Beers to drink in or take out â??- Vintage fridge containing $3.00 beers (I drank a Genesee Ruby Red on recommendation) – $10.00 flights all day long – Bring in your own food – A mug club with many perks With their location in Franklin Square, choice of beers you can’t get anywhere else, and their hours (open until 10pm during the weekdays and 11pm on the weeknights), they’ll attract a lot of different types of people and should be a great spot to sit and relax or just pick something up to bring home.

Rheas Hot Links – Menu with Prices – 201-229 South Oakland Avenue, 204 S Fannin Ave, Tyler

Well today, I went to hot link place for my husband to take to his job. Normally the ladies are great always. But, we have noticed the last 3 visits havnt been that plesant from just (1) employee. But, we will still speak but her attitude us nonchalant. Anyway, today she came to window, didnt speak, and I ordered. Then came back gave me price and I gave her my card. Told her the chip doesn’t work as I handed to her. She looked at me, and still took it. About 5mins later, she comes back and says, my card dont work. Well, 1st of all, it works fine but the reason I told her in advance is for her to do it as credit or without chip usage. Anyway, i told her, I will give her cash. She handed her hand out for my cash, but still had my debit card. I told her to give my card 1st, then I gave her a $50 bill. She took a min and came back with $26 change. I looked at her funny and asked where my receipt she said since I didnt pay with card, I cant get a receipt. I asked how much was it again, she looked at me with a attitude and said, its right. $13 from $50 is $26 and I told her its incorrect and then she shut window on me and started talking to other worker. I bought 14 links, which she gave him the smallest links in there and a strawberry fanta, no ice. Maybe she gaving a bad day. But, lately she has acted this way. Idk way, i haven’t done anything to her and idk her either well. I drove around to front door, went in with food and money. Told the smaller dark lady, who is always sweet and she asked what i bought, told her and still that lady tried to say, 50-13=26, and thats what i gave you. Well, im not dumb, but I know how to count. So instead of arguing, i pulled out my phn to calculator, then she hurried up and said, or yea..I owe you $10. Laid it on counter and walked away. I told my hubby when i took him the food and he tut old me to report it. He said, he was proud of me, cause normally i goes off about my money. But, I have grown alot and tries to be better. She still had a attutude, vut you tried to CHEAT ME, but mad at me. I dont get that. How many people does, she do like this daily that she THINKS, DONT COUNT THEIR MONEY. My husband is bad about not counting his, but I DONT PLAY LIKE THAT. He eats at Rheas at least weekly, and before he had his seizures last yr. He ate 3 times a week faithfully on lunch break of after work. Smh at her.

Sobik’s Subs – Menu with Prices – 4646 N Combee Rd, Lakeland

they are terrible people. over priced stuff half of their items dont even have price tags on them. sho how do you know if they make up rpices in their head all day. and they stole money from my bank card. my boyfriend went up there today to get me cigarettes and there was 5.06 on my card, and the cigarettes were 4.75 and when my boyfriend got back he told me they had denied the purchase.. but when i called toc heck my card to see if my money was still there my account wa completely wiped out. THIS STORE IS A SCAM. THE PEOPLE WHO RUN IT ARE SCUM.

Prairie Artisan Ales – Menu with Prices – 3 NE 8th St, Oklahoma City

I absolutely love this place. Prairie changed my mind on beer and now I appreciate craft beers. Well most of them. Still learning to drink the heavier stouts etc. but don’t get me wrong. The stouts are bursting with flavor and some of the yummiest. But I can’t seem to drink a lot of it in one sitting (yet). My favorite thing here is the changing menu. I love to pop in to see what else the decided to throw in a barrel. My favorite as far as beers have been some of the sours. I’ve had sours in the past where it was just well. Sour. And you don’t really get to taste the hints of whatever was in the description. But at Prairie you definitely can call out what they included. They one had a vanilla orange dreamsicle ish sour. So good! The cherry ones are literally outstanding. Such a craft and skill and so excited for this Oklahoma company. Thank you prairie for introducing me, well mostly making me fall in love with good craft beers! Love the atmosphere too. Sometimes we’ll walk around the area and end here for a treat. The byo food is so fun. They have board games that my family and friends and I have had tons of Sunday fundays here. Also there is trivia on Sunday. The only thing I dislike are the hours! We like beer on weekdays too! ? they close relatively early at 9. Which sure a lot of places do in OK so they are not the only ones. But this is one place I always think of going to. Then realize it’s already 8 and decide to go somewhere else that stays open until at least 11 so you don’t feel like you’re keeping the staff etc and can still be comfortable and take your time.

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – 7494 Creedmoor Rd, Raleigh

I eat here once a week for lunch along with many employees in my office. The visit today will be my last. The short guy with thinning black hair is rude. The credit card machine malfunctioned and he mumbled “you broke my machine”. All I did was insert my card like the machine said. It could not read the chip, so it asked my to slide my card. When I slid my card it malfunctioned. He asked me to slide my card again, but slowly. Ok no problem. I slid my card slowly, but the machine asked me to insert my card. I inserted my card and the guy said something under his breath, but I didnt think much of it. Then the machine asked me to slide my card again and I did. It went through this time. As this guy handed me my receipt he said something to the effect of “why dont people understand how to use credit cards” under his breath. When I called him out on it he got quiet and started with his fake smiling.

Community Pint – Menu with Prices – 120 E Sprague Ave, Spokane

No crap beer here! Finally got a chance to stop by! I have looked at their beer list on Untapped and finally said “I’m stopping”. Great options for beer here. Should be able to find something for everyone, unless you happen to just like the canned water that is passed off as beer….you won’t find that here. What you will find are many craft beers from the PNW that you may not find on tap elsewhere in the area. They also have a selection of cans and bottles. If you want one of the beers on tap to go, they have a canner there as well. Staff was very friendly and knew about the beers. Great place to stop after work! Music could have been a little better. A little loud and not to my liking, but hey, I am getting older…Get off my lawn! I’ll be back!

Red Truck Beer Company – Menu with Prices – 1020 E Lincoln Ave, Fort Collins

I’ve been to Red Truck twice and tried three different food items and four different beers, and I’ve seen the reactions of others I was with. Pros: – Beers were pretty good and reasonably priced. – Nice selection of standard pub food. – Large patio area. – Just the fact that it’s a craft brewer with food puts it a jump ahead of many others. – The fries are really good, and the chicken cobb salad is pretty good. Cons: – In Fort Collins, the standards for craft breweries are high, and Red Truck comes across as a bit corporate and sterile. While there’s nothing really wrong with the place, it certainly screams “chain” rather than “local.” The cheesy red truck decorations are overdone. – Both times I’ve been, the burgers were WAY overcooked. The first time the request by one of my friends was for medium-rare, and it was served medium-well (barely any pink left). The second time, my wife requested medium, and it was beyond well done (dark grey throughout). It seems like maybe the line cooks need some lessons in meat doneness. I would not hesitate to go back to Red Truck, and my 3 stars is really meant to convey “average” and not any serious problems. But here’s the bottom line: If my focus is on experiencing good local Fort Collins microbrews, I’d go to any one of many others in Fort Collins that I think are better and have more local character. And if my focus is on food and not so much the beer (i.e. I want a good restaurant with decent craft beer), there are at least three brewpubs in Fort Collins that I think are a lot better. At Red Truck, the beer’s OK and the food’s OK, but you are compromising on both over the alternatives.

Calvary Church Westside Menu with Prices 6051 Winter Haven Rd NW, Albuquerque

I can’t even express how much the west side needed a good local coffee shop. Local coffee is seriously lacking over here in the dust bowl. I was considering opening one myself…except that meant I’d have to put my career on hold which I wasn’t fond of. If you want coffee over here, you’ve got a handful of Starbucks, a Dunkin’, and McDonalds. You have to get on the freeway for a decent local shop. I literally stumbled upon Sopo. I happened to look to my right while driving to get my daughter from daycare and actually made a U-turn to check out this coffee shop that had mysteriously planted itself in my hood. Apparently, they’ve been open since May. Who knew? They are right near the new Calvary Church where the old Hastings used to be off of Montano and Coors. I think this coffee shop is affiliated with Calvary. Onto the coffee…smooth, like butter. I mean..NO bitterness here. I had an iced latte and it was so refreshing. They have a punch card, which is a plus. They also have a drive thru for your busy days. The price is low to average. I’m pretty sure they have cold brew on draft. The barista talked about “craft coffee”. I know I like craft beer; I like the sound of craft coffee..sign me up!! I’ll be back when I’m in the area…which by the way is always. So yes..I’ll be back all the time!

Bottle Rocket Beer Reserve – Menu with Prices – 2182 Seneca St, Buffalo

If you are a craft beer lover then there is only one stop for you when visiting the area, BRBR. Nick, the owner, is everything you want in a craft beer store owner. I inquired about some available beers on their FB page asking for price and limits. He responded it was “4” and I made the 30 minute drive to the location to buy the particular beers. The employee told me the limit was “2” so I bought my beers and left. I returned to the FB page to correct the person who told me “4” to ensure they knew what I thought was the correct number. Nick responded that his employee was wrong and I then realized he was the owner. He offered to drive to me 30+ minutes to deliver the beers. I told him it wasn’t necessary because I was planning to stop by again the next day. Nick was working and proceed to open no less than 5 different beers (Special OH collabs, new joose release from a local spot, Hill Farmstead, etc). He shared everything with my colleagues who weren’t beer drinkers. By the end of our pre-airport stop, he hooked us up with recommendations for wings and pizza (Imperials pizza was phenomenal BTW). Can’t say enough about this spot and the owner. Every my coworkers were so impressed with how engaging and welcoming Nick was and offered to help find local beers they would enjoy back in Atlanta. Again if you are a beer person this is your spot. If you aren’t a beer person, still stop in and Nick will assist you in finding beers that I’m sure will surprise you.

Barley Labs – Menu with Prices – 4015 University Dr, Durham

Been here a handful of times, and am thrilled with this new dog-friendly addition to town. The staff is tremendous, friendly, and dog-lovers to boot. A hundred small touches to make your pups at homes, with toys, beds, water dishes, and holders under the tables to hold the leashes of your dogs. Nice assortment of craft beers and ciders, with a standard of four ciders on tap on my visits, and a host of beers and decent wine menu as well. Prices are affordable, specials on specific nights (1/2 price wine the last Wednesday I went), and you can bring in food from the nearby restaurants (or elsewhere). This is such a cool concept – akin to Beer Study, but more enjoyable staff, more focus on the dogs, and a better selection of cider and wine. This will have to be a regular stop for sure! Can’t wait to get back.

Hops and Props – Menu with Prices – 335 2nd Ave NE, St. Petersburg

Stopped into Hops and Props recently with a group of friends. We didn’t know what to expect but we loved it. there was construction in the area so it made it hard to get to but it was well worth the effort. It’s small and very quaint. The main attraction is the beers. They had an excellent selection of about 20 local craft beers on tap. The bartender was knowledgable about all the beers and more than willing to talk about them. If you’re a fan of craft beers and places for to talk to your friends while enjoying the, this is the place.
