Darlene is a terrible bar tender! If she is working, just leave! SAVE YOURSELF!! Stayed at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort for 3 nights this past weekend. This review is just for Darlene the bartender at the Tiki Bar within the hotel, not the hotel itself. Darlene was the bar tender for Saturday and Sunday. Katie was the bar tender the first night (Friday) and she was great! This review is not about Katie either! Darlene is one of the worst bar tenders I have encountered. She allowed people, including herself, to add drinks to our tab without authorization, over charged us and constantly complained about her employers, co-workers and customers to us. In our first encounter she complained that she couldn’t open the bar because it wasn’t stocked for her the night before so now she has to do it all herself. She claimed the bar tender the night before over charged us but then she ended up charging the same and often more. Then she specifically told me how this customer sucked because they left a terrible tip and how another customer was nice because they were a better tipper, etc. In my opinion it was incredibly unprofessional. She allowed others to add drinks to our tab without authorization. She then started adding her own drinks to our tab as well… She had recommended a mixed shot (vodka and tropical red bull), so my boyfriend told her she could make one for herself if she wanted as a thank you. After that she kept pushing this shot on us over and over again. We later realized that each time she made us that shot she automatically made herself one and added it to our tab. 6 shots later we have unknowingly bought her $50 worth of shots. She had been nice to the kids so even though the bill was ridiculous I urged my boyfriend to tip her well and he did. The next day we see her again and she goes on and on about how she lost money and was forced to pay her boss back money because of us but screw him, she is going to over pour our drinks for us anyways. Due to the issues we encountered with her and having a tab open, we refused to open a tab the next day. We paid cash for our drinks and were going to tip at the end of the night. Apparently she expected us to tip her for each individual drink so she started to get an attitude with us thinking we weren’t tipping her. I heard her talking crap under her breath and nicely let her know we would tip her at the end of the night. She continued with her attitude going on about how much she did for us the night before but now we are treating her so terribly and started creating a scene. By that point I was fed up with her. We have been perfectly polite the entire time to her and have put up with all the mistakes and how unprofessional she was. She has the nerve to make a scene on the last night of my vacation?!?! Absolutely the worst service ever! She should be fired!!

Grecian Corner – Menu with Prices – 100 4th Ave #160, Seattle

I don’t know how long they’ve been here, but I work in the area and the lady in the front is extremely unprofessional and rude. It’s like she’s ready to get into a fight … The atmosphere is disorganized and the staff could use an attitude adjustment. I asked for a to go cup and she said no we don’t give those unless it’s a to go order cause they cost too much .. I then asked for a straw and she gave me a snotty “straws are not allowed in Seattle” umm plastic straws are not allowed in Seattle and I’m not a tourist. She then started texting on her phone. For being in such a high profile area, you’d think they’d have better service skills and keep the place cleaner. The food was edible and basic but the service left a bad taste in my mouth. The only reason I’m writing this review is for them to get feedback so they can improve. Regardless I won’t be back.

Uncle Bud’s Catfish, Chicken & Such – Menu with Prices – 1824 Old Fort Pkwy, Murfreesboro

So we are here for the first time last night an I do have to say that they had the best chicken tenders Iâ??ve ever had ð?? they were juicy & tender but the best part was that they werenâ??t covered up in a massive amount of breading. The only downside was our server (Sara) she had an attitude from the moment she came over. Our group had separate tickets & when taking my order she rushed through it & I didnâ??t even know there were sauce options for the tenders (she asked the other 3 people which they wanted & started to ask me apparently but then decided not to actually finished because she said â??never mindâ? and went to the next person) when the food came out she literally â??tossedâ? some of the plates down and left as quickly as possible & didnâ??t return for awhile. We had empty drinks & those at the table who ordered from the â??all you can eatâ? section of the menu were unable to get refills until we asked for a new server. The woman who took over was fantastic (I didnâ??t get her name but â??BKâ? was what I could see on her name tag. Now the part of the evening that was so tacky for me was that I had to go back to the table to grab something & Sarah was complaining/talking about our table not only to another server, but to a customer ð??³ so tacky & unprofessional.

The Mug Shakes – Menu with Prices – 12434 N Mainstreet, Rancho Cucamonga

Worst customer service experience I’ve had, and I never even made it inside. Heard about this place through a promotion they were advertising on my local news station for Halloween and decided I would check it out. Drove all the way out there only to find that they had closed an hour early. Business hours posted indicated they would be open from 10-8. When we got there at 7 the doors were locked and they had already started to clean up for the night. Nothing on their website indicated that they would be closing early for Halloween and there was no posting on the doors offering an explanation as to why they had closed early. We tried to get the workers attention to ask why they had closed early but they just simply went about their business and acted like we weren’t there. Very unprofessional.

Italia Express – Menu with Prices – 2370 North St, Brownsville

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. We had never been there before, let alone do we rarely go to the mall. We wanted something quick and hot. While standing outside of the restraunt not in line reading the menu, the employee glared at us and looked as if we were wasting his time when we were clearly not ready to order and was just reading the menu. That should have been our first cue to leave. I let him know we were just looking, and my boyfriend asked what was in the lasagna(because honestly it looked weird as hell) and we were talked to as if we were stupid. We placed our order and proceeded to checkout, where we encountered a severely rude and horrible cashier. She rolled her eyes and talked to us like we were wasting her time. By this time we were very upset so we paid and took a seat rather far away. They did not advise us our food did not come with drinks so my boyfriend went to another stand to buy a drink instead of buying one from there. When we got our food, mine was barely warm in the center and my bread was dry. We both ended up having a lot of stomach pain and nausea from this place. Over priced, worst service, and bland, cold food. Do not recommend, ever. Stay far, far away.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Laredo – Menu with Prices – 11210 EastPoint Dr, Laredo

Worst customer service ever. I haven’t ever dealt with such rude staff. We show up and buy our tickets for our movie. 10:45 showing of Spider-Man, we get there at 10:40. The lady at the counter is very rude, being very short in responses, rolling her eyes etc. Finally, we get our 4 tickets, for my husband and I, my close friend and her husband. My friend and I are very pregnant, so we need to use the restroom before the movie. We walk into the movie as it’s starting (THE SECOND IT STARTED) and the staff won’t let us sit down. We bought our seats in the very back row, but since the movie started we weren’t allowed to sit because it’s “causing a disturbance”. The lady FINALLY tells us that we can sit but the manager would be over to talk to us. 5 minutes in, the manager comes and tells us we aren’t allowed in the theater once the movie starts, and she watched us waste our time outside. AKA saw our husbands waiting outside the restroom for us. I don’t mind following rules, but the lady at the front desk when we purchased tickets told us nothing about not being seated when the movie started. If we weren’t allowed to be seated, why were we allowed to buy tickets in the first place?!! The 2 ladies who came and talked to us in the theatre were WAY more of an interruption to us and everyone else, then us just sitting down. They weren’t polite in any way, using harsh and rude tones. Not even whispering, straight yelling at us. I can’t believe an establishment would let their staff talk to customers this way. You can have your rules and can enforce them, but there are much MUCH better ways of doing so.

Hub City Wings 4th & Frankford – Menu with Prices – 417 Frankford Ave Suite 200, Lubbock

The room and decor were good, the bathrooms were good, but the service was terrible. We had a reserved table with only 9 people and I thought this experience reminded me of that show, Bar Rescue. We waited for a good 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us once we sat down and that only happened because one of the people with me was a regular there. Over the few hours we were there we started ordering 2 drinks at a time since we knew it would be a long time until our server came back. I had a $7.25 shot of Patron and I wish I could have measured that shot. It was served in a shot glass with a false bottom to make the shot look bigger than it is, I’ve never seen a fake out shot glass like that before but the fluid amount, I thought, was super small. My margarita was orange and I just felt that maybe there were new people working there. The wings were great, really enjoyed the Thai and Hot wings. At the end of the night the waitress was very nice and apologized for the “rocky start”, which was very sweet but then all of our tickets were all mixed up, but she promptly fixed them. This won’t be my last time here and I hope to update this review with 5 stars one day.

The Keyhole Bar – Menu with Prices – 242 Bay St, Jersey City

The brunette little girl working on Tuesday night 7/2 at 11 is a racist!!! This bar has definitely changed for the worst. It use to be a fun place that natives of Jersey City could gather and the bartenders were friendly and inviting. The new little girl who looks like she is barely able to drink is totally rude and disrespectful. She refused to serve my friend and I because she couldn’t understand his order. She needs to be fired!!! Very unprofessional and bias. I never been disrespected and embarrassed like that in my life… she is definitely a Racist!!! Will never step foot in this hole in the wall again. And you bet I will pass the word to any natives of Jersey City who use to call this once cool spot home… need new bartenders.. she is the worst and can barely make drinks!!!!

Breaking Wave Coffee – Menu with Prices – 1310 Main St, Sarasota

I usually leave pretty good reviews of establishments but i’ve never encountered an employee to be so rude to me. i didn’t order anything at first because i was doing homework and it wasn’t until i was about to leave when an employee told me that i should not go there establishment unless i order something. i was going to order a pastry to go after i finished. which i did order. It was basically empty and i’ve never been to an establishment where this was allowed or it was a problem. it was a very disrespectful thing to say and i’ve been a costumer before. the disrespectful attitude was not necessary. I will take my business elsewhere, where it’s not a problem that i do my work first and then order something. no apology was said.

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill – Menu with Prices – 4021 S Gilbert Rd, Chandler

Came here today with my kids for ice cream. I ordered the right items, the assistant mgr got my order wrong, I told her again what I ordered, she got upset and started arguing with me about it, then proceeded to tell me with an attitude that I should’ve looked at the receipt before my kids started eating their ice cream, with her being so rude I grabbed my kids ice cream, went up to the counter and asked for a refund. The assistant mgr proceeds to tell me, “I’m not giving you a refund” i ask why, she says because you ate it all ( one of my daughters ate most of her ice cream which i wasn’t asking for a refund on that one but on the two ice creams that weren’t touched and the cheese curds they just brought out to me) practically yelling at me. Then she says she wasn’t going to give me a refund because I have an attitude. There was a second mgr there that was so sweet and helpful. He told me that I didn’t have an attitude and that I was acting rational and calm and that he was sorry for the way the other mgr handled things, which was completely unprofessional and not right. He said she should’ve handled things differently which I totally agree. She was yelling at me in front of my kids to the point where they walked outside crying because she scared them! What kind of human being does that?! Not to mention I was balling because I was so upset that she upset my kids. That person needs not to work in customer service! Oh and the police were called on, that’s how bad the situation was!

Shenanigan’s – Menu with Prices – 77 Plumb Ln, Reno

This was one of my favorite bars to go to until I had Misty give me one of the worst customer service experience of my life. I will only go back if she is not bartending and if she were to bartend elsewhere I would not step inside for one second. She has one of the worst attitudes towards customers that I have ever encountered in a bartender and that includes all of the bars in Reno, NV. Please be aware of her attitude. I am so thankful for our server at our table because she made up for her actions by comping me a drink. I will come back solely because of our server. Our server was on break and while on her break, I simply went up to the bar and asked for a drink from Misty, she shouted at me that I should send a request for a drink through our server out of respect to our server, mind you that our server was on break. I wish I didn’t have to make this review but as you can see it needed to be said about her actions. I only wish for Misty to find peace within her so that she can please others if her employment involves customer service.

The Fire Crab – Menu with Prices – 8335 Garden Grove Blvd, Garden Grove

My man & I was here lastnight to try a new seafood joint. & by the reviews we were kinda excited about trying this spot, as we walked in it seemed like a slow night. We started off by ordering a dozen of oysters since we have been craving it & because it’s oyster season. When we got the oysters they looked spoiled/un edible for sure. As you can see in the pictures I posted with this review. I’ll be posting the video as well since it’s more clear. When we got the attention of the server & let him know, he just replied “all our oysters are like that & it’s normal.” So we just let it go, & ate around 2 pieces each but we spit it back out. So we spent around $24 for a dozen of oysters. You can obviously tell it’s not edible! We have very much knowledge when it comes to oysters & this wasn’t it. Though we should’ve complained more about it, we just let it go. Also he was too busy hanging with his buddies that were already there taking shots of sakes. He never came to our table to check on us unless we waved him down. He was the only server on the floor. Seemed somewhat buzzed. & idk if he’s allowed to be drinking on the job especially when you the only server? Anyway down to our seafood boil, it was whatever. Wasn’t much sauce & didn’t really have flavor. The only highlight of the night was their spicy garlic edamame, & cajun fries. Those were pretty good. That’s about it. & when I got home my stomach wasn’t sitting to well. Very disappointing experience overall. We will not be returning.

Selva Negra Restaurant Miami – Menu with Prices – 2025 W Flagler St, Miami

I usually refer this place as one of the few Nicaraguan places in Miami, to people when they visit town because there’s no many Nicaraguan restaurants near Miami Beach area. I go myself once in a while and despite the food not being great I get a very nice experience in service with Nubia as she’s a great server and takes good care of me. In fact if she’s not there I already know in shouldn’t have high expectations about the service. The food and quality for service is not very authentic for a Nicaraguan place. The food takes too long and is not really fresh sometimes I’d much rather tell people about some take out places in which food is being cooked Right there and you don’t have to pay extra or a percentage for gratuity for such bad service and inconsistency in the quality of the food that is a little overpriced for what we call fritanga in Nicaragua. I was there last night. We have to go in and ask them if they were still open at 9:30pm because the “OPEN” sign was off and most lights were off. They said they were open, so we proceed to get off the car and grab a table. As usual I have my dog with me and my little baby and couple of friends. Some guy who I never seen before who I supposed was the manager on duty said the people who own the place and people who come to the restaurant might not like dogs. I told him I have brought my dog before while owner was there and explained to him I have the documents for service and he just kept saying he didn’t know and he needed to make a call to ask because obviously he doesn’t really know if they take pets or not. He Made a quick call and came back to me and said “I’m sorry yes, the owners don’t like dogs” So I guess last night when they were trying to shut down the place which is supposed to be open they decided to refuse service because the owners don’t like dogs even they have let me in with my dog before. Ok you call it whatever you like but I call it unprofessional and Inconsistent. Way below the standard of service of any establishment. One day you accept a dog and another day you refuse a dog that happen to be a service animal as well because “the owner doesn’t like dogs” today and by coincidence you are trying to close because there’s not people in the restaurant. I said “No worries” and walked out. I went to next place with good food and enjoyed friendly faces with better attitude who are aware of the law and didn’t refuse service because didn’t feel like working. I’m in same industry as well and feel bad for the owners who don’t take their time to train their employees on service and basic standards to keep their places in business. That explains why they were empty and trying to shut the place around 9pm For bad service and discriminatory treatment I would’ve stayed in the touristy area in south beach but even they know better and are aware of and train their employees to understand the needs of customers with service animals The only entity allowed to decide if an animal is truly a service dog is a judge in a courtroom. Refusing service and/or being rude to a service Dog and handler is not only unprofessional behavior, but it is illegal at both state and federal levels. Google it people! That’s why I definitely like dogs better than most people. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed of this place. I’m not coming back here or referring people to have a bad experience.
