Really a must try. Hot, fresh, and delicious. It reminded me of a place Chuck’s Pizza from back in the day! So I had to ask after I ordered. I saw the guy in the back and asked if he was the manager, come to find out he’s the owner and grew up in the old neighborhood and use to love Chucks and even worked there. Quincy (the owner) really takes pride in every order pickup or delivery. My order came up, a delicious deluxe and 20 wings the prices are fair and the quality was good. I was there a few weeks ago and can’t wait to go back and try a few other items.

That Wing Place Menu with Prices 360 Boniface Pkwy, Anchorage

Tonight I decided to branch out from my normal wing place (Buffalo Wild Wings, sue me), and try a local wing joit. To be fair, the biggest motivators for this decision was that they delivered, and that they offer a different selection of sauces (I’ve gotten into a baaaad Spicy Garlic habit and needed some change.) I’m a boneless wing girl, and like my wings very crispy! Now, onto the review. I placed an order for delivery and the man that took my order was polite and to the point, a trait that I really value in wait staff. One weird thing was that when asked if I could do four flavors for a Double Portion (20 wing) order, I was told I could only get 2 flavors unless I wanted to “mix” flavors. Alright, whatever, I’ll go with two. They quoted my order at 60-75 minutes for delivery, with the actual delivery time coming it at about 45-50 minutes. The driver was nice, too. No problems with staff. My order consisted of two flavors: Buffalo Blue Cheese, and Buffalo Ranch. I was excited to try them as they are not usually flavors found on my long worn BBW menu. Upon opening the containers I was met with some, er, disappointment. To say the least. With no exaggeration there were probably two tablespoons of sauce in each container. Okay…. I guess we will just need a little extra ranch to dip these in. Nope! Turns out not only were the wings underwhelming in flavor, they were soggy! Wish I could say I’m coming back, I really do want to support a local business, but that is just not the case. ?

Lui’s Pizza & Subs Menu with Prices 1150 N Harbor Blvd #106, Anaheim

Best Pizza in Anaheim bar none. Have tried other places all over the place always to my sincere regret within North/West Anaheim. Lui’s is #1 for me. My faves include: Garlic cheese STICKS (there is a difference, they have regular garlic cheese bread which is not the pizza pie cheese sticks) Buffalo Wings! This place is my favorite wings place, I don’t think of anywhere else when I want wings. My custom orders: * Mushroom Pepperoni Sausage w/ Jalapenos is my personal signature pizza. * Hawaiian with Jalapenos is delicious * chicken bacon mushroom jalapenos Their Signature Chicken Club is #1 in the OC bar none. Deluxe/Supreme is fantastic as well. THE CRUST makes for EXCELLENT BREADSTICKS to dip in your favorite marinara, ranch, etc sauces. GRAVY! Its an honest pizza pie shop, great pizza, hidden gem, not as well known as other places because of its location but for locals and visitors to Disneyland – you just have to try it. Due to to size of the place it is not very good for dining in – unless you are alone or with 1 other person, best solution go for pickup. — TIP TIP TIP TIP TIP — Plan to be at the shop within 20-25minutes of your order so you get it HOT off the oven. If you phone-in ( it sometimes can be difficult to reach, since they go all hands on deck making their orders and any extra hands are delivering pies ). But its not because they are trying to ignore you, when they get busy, they get busy. Just keep calling every 5 minutes and you’ll get them. Delivery times tend to be 45 minutes to an hour for locals. I meant to post another 5 stars in 2018 but this one will do for both 2018 and 2019. I’m actually going to surprise my brother for his birthday by grabbing him a pie and some IPAs to go with this glory.

Saffron Indian Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 12911 Cantrell Rd Suite 18, Little Rock

Last night my husband came in for a prepaid pickup as a Postmates driver. He noticed that another Postmates driver was was waiting for a pickup as well. He was told by the server at the counter that it would only be a few minutes and was told to sit and wait. After 15 minutes of waiting for him in the car, I came in and waited almost another 45 minutes for the pickup. It seemed that they were only concerned with the party in the backroom, other Indian guests, and a guy with a turban that kept pulling a wad of cash out of his pocket. We observed a white couple that didn’t even get menus till after waiting nearly 20 minutes. Meanwhile another Indian couple received their to-go order while still eating before the white couple even got offered water. Our Postmates order was supposed to be ready for pickup and caused another delivery order we had to be late. We love Indian food, but will never give this place business as the service was slow and offered no apologies. If you want to be treated like royalty, take your business to Star of India, do not waste your time or money here. Thank goodness the gentleman I delivered the food to was patient and still tipped me, however my other order did not because it was over and hour late thanks to Saffron Indian Cuisine.

Mancino’s Pizza & Grinders – Menu with Prices – 1402 W Mt Hope Ave, Lansing

I ordered delivery from here cuz I felt like staying in my hotel room and I’m glad I did! The delivery was quick and the food was delicious. I ordered a sausage, bacon, and pepperoni calzone and scarfed it down faster than I probably should have, but it was too delicious to let sit for long. The crust was a perfect blend of crispy and chewy – chewy enough to have a fantastic texture. They also seasoned the crust wonderfully. I also ordered the Mancino’s Pride pizza with the intent on saving it for breakfast for the next day, but I ended up eating it too. Now I feel a bit of remorse for ignoring my diet, but my stomach and my taste-buds are super pleased with Mancino’s. Personally, I think the calzone wins out due to how well the crust was seasoned and cooked, but the pizza was pretty dang tasty too! I’d order both items again and I’ll definitely be getting delivery from them again next time I’m through Lansing on work. Side note: if you’re really hungry – the calzone might not be enough food by itself, might wanna order something else to go along with it.

Blessin Restaurants – Triana Blvd – Menu with Prices – 2900 Triana Blvd SW Suite M, Huntsville

Discovered this gem today on my way home. I’ve heard about the Meridian location for some time but I haven’t had a chance to try them out. For $4.58 (odd price but I’m not complaining), I was able to get a 6 pc combo with a small fry and small drink. After tasting these delicious wings, I kicked myself for not getting the 10 pc. Lol. Their wings are seriously the best wings I’ve tasted in the area. I requested for my wings to be cooked extra crispy and they were perfect along with the hot, seasoned fries that accompanied them. There is very limited seating so don’t plan to dine in. I spotted maybe 3 tables or so and those were taking by customers waiting for their orders. After placing my order, I waited maybe 15 minutes or so. The wings are cooked to order so be prepared to wait if you want hot and delicious wings. If I’m not mistaken, I believe you can call ahead before pick up. Based upon the menu posted here, it appears that this location only has wings versus the Meridian location that has wings, chicken strips, burgers and etc. Best wings in town and the prices are incredibly reasonable here. Hopefully my next experience will be just as good as this one. Nothing showy here; just darn good wings. Service was decent for take out.

Pontillo’s Pizzerias – Menu with Prices – 1687 Mt Hope Ave, Rochester

How many lousy pizzas can you order, eat & throw in the garbage before you vow never to order another one? We ordered 2 pizzas Thursday evening for delivery,1 medium without cheese and a large with cheese & pepperoni. The pizzas were warm & soggy, the botton crust burnt. The large pizza had no cheese & too much sauce & oregano. The chicken wings’ skins were not crispy so I had to pop them under the broiler. Seems to be a hit & miss to get a good pizza & wings from this location! I guess it depends on who is cooking & the amount of pride exerted. I threw the 7 remaining slices down the garbage disposer.

Fruta Healthy Eating Cafe – Menu with Prices – 222 E Warner Rd #106, Chandler

Wow! This place is great! AND, they do real cold pressed juices. So Yummy! Bottom line!!! -they are yummy, -have plenty of Superfood and organic options -do customizing -ARE Fresh, (except for a few fruit or veggie options that are alternative options for those with allergies or preference) -NEWer, -Very Clean, -healthy, -**they do offer Call-Ahead orders!! I love this about smaller businesses!!. *if you don’t like the wait for healthy food, just call 10-15 min ahead or set it up as a timed-pickup-and pay when you pickup! -priced averagely (they have higher quality options so they are probably losing money with so many fresh natural items, (to establish clientele) so, please tell ur friends! -they are 5 mo old as of this review -they offer DoorDash delivery -they have a great a Yoga class on Saturdays. -they are looking into future Online/easy ordering options so if there is One u enjoy or find very user friendly, suggest it! (I suggested the FaceBook Pay/Order option) As for the other reviewers, if you actually READ their reviews, there are some pretty picky folks out there that expect a lot, for pennies, and you can’t fault or rate this new Fruta place for their location. They are delivering a higher quality product at a lower rated location (that isn’t even that bad) it’s just not uber ritzy. It’s still clean, new inside, and has a comfortable new setting. If you TRULY enjoy cold press juices, organic foods, real smoothies, and eat healthy….this is a great place. I feel bad for them being rated on the location, it is a bit off for the better quality items they deliver. (They deserve a nicer area) but they are getting established. I talked with the workers and they have been open about 5 months. If u remember Coconut hut, that was a street east of this place, you will feel a bit of déjà vu and at home here. You can talk to them about customizing your products, the prices are about the same as any health food place, (It was $11 for a 24oz cold pressed juice, and that is actually pretty good for all natural fresh juices drinks, maybe even on the low side. ). And if you give them cheaper, tell me cuz they probably aren’t doing ALL Fruit and Veggies only. The service was friendly, and typical for the time making fresh product. (The person that complained about it taking too long has probably never actually made a fresh cold pressed smoothie before on their own…and I bet they don’t write that review for Starbucks-lol). I have had to always wait about 10-15 minutes for one person to make my food/juice with NO other customers waiting. And even if their are more folks -like at Nekter, oneStop Nutrition, Coconut hut, Etc., it still takes that long. Plus, I end up waiting longer at a Starbucks than most other places anymore. But folks will wait forever for low quality, sugared up, name brand coffee at SB. Then go complain about fresh healthy food taking even less time then a single mainstream cup of coffee. This place is great. I so hope they stay open, and get another store going!

Florida Wing Factory Express Tharpe St – Menu with Prices – 950 W Tharpe St #101, Tallahassee

Excellent wings, and I especially love their boneless wings which are enormous, quality white meat, and with a very light batter compared to the boneless wings at places like Buffalo Wild Wings, which are just coated in thick awful batter. This location is quick, clean, and I’ve never had any trouble with wrong orders. I usually pick up myself. For that other reviewer to give 1 star for apparently a third party delivery company getting the wrong order for them is patently absurd. Note this location while it DOES have places to sit and eat at, it’s really more for takeout than it is for dining in given how small it is.

The Original Wing Busters & More – Menu with Prices – 748 Washington Blvd, Kansas City

I didn’t see an option for zero. The Blue Springs store certainly has issues, probably just shouldn’t be open. As long time residents of Blue Springs we wanted to support this new establishment so a couple of weeks ago we stopped in for lunch one Sunday. We were told that the only food they had was fish and boneless wings. They claimed that they had a rush due to the Royals opening day. Disappointed and somewhat skeptical, we left and said we’d have to try again some other time. Today was the day we stopped in expecting to get some good wings and this time we were told (rather unapologetically) that they didn’t have any wings and that they were waiting for a delivery. What kind of wing restaurant runs out of wings? Won’t go back and will be shocked if this location lasts long.

2 Guys With Knives – Menu with Prices – 9265 Shaughnessy St, Vancouver

Words can’t express how much I love this service. I’ve tried meal/ingredient delivery before and not found it worth the money (or the hassle of trying to arrange a delivery in the middle of a workday), so I was really skeptical when my nutritionist suggested Two Guys. Trying to juggle 3 jobs and family commitments means that I often struggle to stick to my high-maintenance healthy eating plan, so I decided to look into it. The first thing that sold me was seeing the delivery options – 10pm on a Sunday night? Yes please! Pickup instead? No problem! I also loved that every dish can be endlessly customized to fit my dietary needs. I got my first delivery and haven’t looked back. Each delivery comes in a reusable cooler bag that you exchange when you get your next delivery, so there is no wasteful cardboard box that you use once and throw in the recycling. I had initially found the cost of each meal to be a barrier, but the quality and quantity of food definitely makes it worthwhile. The portions are really generous, and I’ve gotten more than one serving out of each meal, which definitely makes it better value than the other food delivery services I’ve tried – especially since it’s already cooked for you. The only downsides are a) the meals come in disposable plastic take-away containers unfortunately (although they are durable and can be reused or recycled) and b) the portions of dressing/sauces aren’t quite big enough for the mountains of food, so I ended up throwing away part of the salad because I couldn’t bring myself to choke down dry kale. Overall – A+++!

Beefy’s Burgers Tacoma – Menu with Prices – 3018 6th Ave, Tacoma

Well… it’s an improvement to the last restaurant that was here which was Fish Fish Fish. Beefy’s is run by the same owner that ran Fish and what seemed to be a disastrous effort to bring fish and chips in this part of the 6th Ave. neighborhood. While that prior experience left a bad taste in my mouth (literally) I came back with an open mind to give this new restaurant a try. Probably the biggest improvement is the service. There were minor slip ups with my meal here this time as well but nothing like before. For example the cashier seemed to struggle to run my card through, I was asked what my name was for when my order was ready and it was not spelled correctly and I got someone else’s order while I was waiting for my burger but the good thing was that all of them were corrected quickly. As far as the food goes? I’ve had better burgers. That is most definitely certain. The burgers on the menu are broken down by deluxe or regular with about three options a piece. I went with the deluxe cheeseburger that had lettuce, onion and a special sauce. The burger was just fair. The lettuce, onion and the beef could have stood to be a lot fresher and the burger was not very substantial… quite small but on the flip side it was very inexpensive. I also got fries as well which I enjoyed the most out of the whole meal and had a hot ketchup that made it enjoyable. To sum it up I just wasn’t too impressed with what I had here and a person could easily get better burgers in town AND on 6th Ave.

Golden Boy Pies, Inc. – Menu with Prices – 4945 Hadley St, Overland Park

After finally finding out who was supplying Town Topic’s pies we called to order a few items. You can order retail from them after calling and “setting up an account”, which is no more than giving your name, address, and phone number. You have to give them a 24 hour notice on what you want and pick it up yourself, no delivery. If you order on a Friday, it will be a Monday pickup. Wow! These folks make THE best pie crust I’ve ever had! So flaky and buttery tasting! I got the butterscotch, which is fantastic! Not sure I’ll be able to convince myself to try anything else…pie-wise. We also got the chocolate cream cheese cake, which I haven’t tried yet because of the pie;-) Very reasonably priced considering I got a whole pie and cake for a fraction of what you’d pay at a restaurant.
