Been to this place a few times, mostly a good experience. Visited again on New Year’s Eve and I was absolutely disgusted with the service received by the female bartender Veronica who is a straight up thief! I ordered 1 cocktail and was charged nearly 30 dollars! Went I confronted her that maybe she had made a mistake she proceeded to tell me that she had given me a discount and refused to correct her mistake.i later spoke with a manger who finally tried to rectify the situation. I am still very shocked with the way I was treated, I and hope people will be more aware of their tabs as she tried to make me look like a liar or as if I didn’t wanna pay for my drink! I hate leaving negative reviews but I hate dishonest people even more!

Muto lzakaya Restaurant Menu with Prices 105 E Chestnut St, Bellingham

I still can’t believe what happened tonight. Our server made a mistake and brought out a wrong dish. I ordered a poke SALAD, but he brought out a poke BOWL. I didn’t noticed the error until I saw the bill. I pointed that out to the server, assuming that he would just correct the mistake (so that I would pay for what I ordered rather than when he brought out by mistake). The server was apologetic but kept saying there’s nothing they could do to fix it. His manager came out and told me the same thing but WITH AN ATTITUDE. I’m Japanese and I hate any kind of confrontation especially in public. I was with my son and his friend’s family even, but I’m not naive enough to pay extra for a mistake the server made. Anyway, it was still so embarrassing for me to “argue” with the manger. At a normal restaurant in the US, THEY will apologize for having made a mistake and promptly correct the mistake. I just could not believe why they had to make such a big deal out of a small mistake their server made. The manager finally said to me “Next time when there’s a mistake, tell us before you eat it, OK?” in a very condescending manner. He unwillingly corrected the mistake, brought back the corrected bill, STUCK it out in front of my face, and said “Are you happy now?” It then all made perfect sense to me why the server started sweating PROFUSELY when he realized he’d made a mistake. His manager is a big A**HOLE! First and foremost, I recommend that you do not work here as a server. Second, please do not support a business where the management intimidates their employees or their customers. ***************************** If you found something useful in my review, please hit “useful” so that I can improve my future reviews. Kung Fu Tea – Menu with Prices – 729 N Placentia Ave, Fullerton

At first, the cashier was very helpful with their various selections of drinks, but a few minutes after picking up my drink I later realized my order was completely wrong. I had ordered the snow cap drink and received a milk-based drink instead. I returned back to the cashier to correct my order. Since adding the snow cap was more money, she was asking if I had a dollar. I didn’t have a dollar in cash, so I suggested charging it to my card or refund the original order so they could just redo the transaction for the correct drink price. Then, I noticed the only price difference was 25 cents! So I started questioning what they originally charged me for. The lady in line behind me gives them $1 dollar to speed up the situation, but little do they know I am about principle. Then, the owner stops by to repeat the entire situation stating that they are a franchise and they don’t have a button to just charge $1. So now, I have to re-explain the situation AGAIN and he starts getting angry at the cashier for making a mistake with the order. He finally suggests refunding the original order so that he could just start a new transaction which is exactly what I recommended in the first place! Then, he states that the original transaction was refunded. I started asking for the print out of the refund receipt but he just told me to call him if they double charge me. I wanted proof, so he had to show me on their point of sale system. I later found out the first transaction (incorrect order) charged to me cost more than the corrected order. In short, they were trying to charge me more AND they did not refund the gratuity. I am very upset with this business. All they had to do was simply correct the situation by adding the snow cap topping to my drink for making a mistake, but they made the situation worse. I own a small business, and this is no way to treat customers. Waste of time for a few cents on a mistake they made. Milk tea stores are a dime a dozen, and this is one franchise I refused to return to. Update after owner’s comment: As you can read, he has no sense of Customer Service, therefore, the review rating has demoted his business to 1-star. He never refunded the gratuity which also means they received a higher tip percentage since the new transaction cost less. Also, I clearly stated to the cashier I was ordering a snow cap because that is the only type of drink I order and nothing else in these milk tea stores. There is nothing the owner can say to defend himself.

Flower Child Menu with Prices 11721 Rock Rose Ave #160, Austin

I gave them every chance I could. My wife loves this place. And to be honest I like the food here they have good choices for anyone with gluten or dairy etc intolerance. We ordered our meals and started eating. I ordered the glow bowl and was about half way through when I found a large spline of wood sharp, it poked me in the roof of my mouth. I flagged the waiter over and called his attention to it he said they have wood cutting boards and must have chopped off a piece. He picked it up and walked away. Being afraid there could be more of those in my food I stopped eating. I assumed he was going to tell the manager, however no one ever came over. So I walked over to the manger and explained my situation, he asked if I wanted to fill out an incident report. I answered no that was not necessary he then turned and went back to his task. I was a little shocked that he did not even offer to remake my plate or anything else. By this time my food is cold and my wife is finished. We walked out of the restaurant slowly and casually giving the manager one more chance to correct this. On the way home my wife filled out the comment section on the website she wrote about my experience. I received a call before I even reached my home, the person I spoke to apologized and asked who I spoke with and explained he would use this as a good opportunity to have a discussion with his manager. He then proceeded to ask for my address and promise to send me a gift card to correct the situation. I agreed to give it to him and that was the end of the conversation. I live 15 minutes from the restaurant. It has been three weeks I have seen nothing. Look I understand mistakes happen I never expect perfection. I gave them so many chances to correct this, when you screw up this many times with the same customer you deserve a one star review so here it is.

The Triple Knock – Menu with Prices – 2713 6th Ave, Tacoma

One star might suffice since it was fun playing pinball and the selection was okay but the service by Erin was absolutely terrible. After my SECOND beer of the night, my friends and I were denied service across the street with almost no intoxication and it was due to her call to them. At the time of service, Erin mixed the name “Daron/Darren” up and didn’t ask the last name on the tab therefor charging us for the wrong tab (The correct Daron paid after we received our drink.) We wanted to fix the situation and compensate the correct tab but she refunded the first and accused us of stealing as we walked out after being asked to leave. She then called the other bars in the area and accused us of being too drunk for service. Again, we had only one beer prior and were fully cognizant of the situation at hand. Erin’s poor service and handling of the situation will prevent us from coming back to this bar or recommending it to other friends and family. We understand having to be firm with drunk idiots that cause problems in the bar but to accuse us of various acts as well as call other bars to refuse us service after we called her out on HER mistake is absolutely ridiculous. If you do go to this bar, check to see if the “manager” Erin is working before you order your drinks. You would be better off going to Crown Bar next door or even Half Pint, even though we were denied service, if you want to play pinball.

Nick’s Tomato Pie – Menu with Prices – 109 Walton St, Syracuse

Disgusting racist people working behind the counter.. came in waited half an hour to get food they refused to serve me anything else but pizza with pork in it, even though they had cheese pizza and other pizza without pork in it available. I think it’s ridiculous because they wanna say it’s because they’re saving the pizza for they’re employees but why have people wait in line over an extended period of time, be rude to them for no reason, then tell them to leave because there is nothing they can do, even though they told me while waiting, it was available. This place closed down for awhile because of renovations or something else they wanna say, I believe it’s because of the dirty environment and the petty employees that work there. There should be some decent people there to be acceptable to people who are not under the influence, intoxicated and serve those with respect especially after being closed due to the exact reasons.

Medina Halal Market – Menu with Prices – 32760 Alvarado Blvd, Fremont

I have been coming to Medina market for over 10 years been a very loyal customer… Now under new management this place is very poorly managed.. the new owner is very unprofessional rude and dishonest.. sells you goat when you want lamb.. weighed the meat with fat on it and then cleans it not knowing what the leftovers are used in…the manger got into in argument with a family member and now he refuses to help anyone that is associated with him… I feel like that’s very poor judgement from the owner… so childish… why are you making everyone else look bad because of one person… Band him why take it out on everyone… I wish this happens to you or someone in your family… making people feel like they did something wrong when we have giving you so much respect … greeted you welcomed you to this neighborhood and all this management has given us is rudeness and disrespect… Shame to the new management of Medina Halal Market,,,, I hope you grow up fast because your actions make you look like a man with no morals or values…..how would this make you feel…grow some balls and don’t hate on everyone else because one person hurt your feelings….Zero stars on management skills and a negative zero star on customer service maybe you should take classes on how to treat your customers and how to be a owner of a business….

Kettles Vietnamese Bistro – Menu with Prices – 1202 W Steele Ln, Santa Rosa

I called and to let them know that they messed up my take out order. The man who answer the phone, Giovanni I believe, was understanding and nicely apologized for the mistake on their end. When he was going to process the refund, a man by the name of Nate told him to stop and that he should not do that. I spoke with Nate and he was ridiculously rude and actually ended up hanging up on me. I had to call the front, Angelica, twice in order to finally get to speak to him again after he hung up on me. I had two questions to ask Nate Do: (1) Can he go ahead with the refund of the single item and (2) why he hung up on me. Instead of answering those questions, he went on speaking very fast, making fun of the way that I was speaking, and essentially calling me incompetent. The funny thing is that he was actually quite incompetent. I was highly frustrated and let him know that his listening and comprehension skills were low and he was ridiculously rude. He refused to give my information to his superior. Eventually, after most likely realizing how ridiculous he was being, he angrily demanded that I give him my information–after I told him I no longer wanted to proceed down that route because after how he was behaving I knew there was no way he would ever want me to talk to a manager, he told me that I must not be able to hear because he was asking me for information and I wasn’t giving it to him. I did not end up eating my food, but my boyfriend ate his pho and it was not great. Nate admitted to them being in a rush so that must be representative in the quality of the food. You see, I completely understand that mistakes happen–especially when in a rush (which I can confidently say that they were not because I went into the restaurant and it was not that busy)–but the quality of the food should not suffer. Customer service should not suffer. Thank you to Gio and Angelica for being adults in this terrible situation. I feel bad for the owner because this review will negatively affect how they show up in search results, but the way that I was treated by Nate was unacceptable. He was probably having a bad night and took it out on me. No where should it be acceptable to hang up on a disappointed, calm*** customer. Angelica, the host, even told me that he said “He told me that we are busy so that I need to get off of the phone.” She obviously did not want to say that… Anyways, I do recommend that you spend your money elsewhere. Unfortunately, I am unable to speak to the owner of this business, but I can only imagine that choosing Nate as their representative may be reflective in how they run their business as a whole.

Another Broken Egg Cafe – Menu with Prices – 300 Pelham Ave SW Suite A1, Huntsville

The last time we ate here, the waitress charged my card for my table and the table next to me by mistake. So I ended up paying $50 for my meal and $40 for the table next to me without realizing it. When I saw the mistake on my bank account a few days later, I called the restaurant and asked for the manager. The person who answered the phone didn’t want to give me to a manager, and when they finally did, the “manager” I spoke with said she wasn’t authorized to do returns. She told me she would have the manager who can do returns call me immediately. I have never received a phone call and ended up having to dispute the charge through my bank. I was so disappointed to have this experience because the food was amazing. Extremely unprofessional for you to handle a mistake you made like this.

Punch Bowl Social Austin Menu with Prices 11310 Domain Dr, Austin

I will begin with saying I have been to PBS a few times. Most times the drinks, staff, and food are good. OK, so why the 1 star rating? I went there recently with some friends. We work an early shift and by 2pm we have worked a full day and are ready for a few drinks. All sounds good, right? A few people ready for drinks at a place that has alcohol, pool, darts, arcade games, and a ridiculously big version or foosball… well, it all started so quickly… friends went to the bar and I made a quick trip to the restroom. Isaac, the bartender helped everyone, and when I walked up it was my turn. Well, at least it should have been. Isaac instead of helping me walked around the otherwise empty bar and didn’t help me. I stood there for several minutes waiting, then another group walked up. He helped them and not me. Odd… since I was there still waiting. After helping the other group, he walked around the bar again with no real purpose. He finally came to help me. I made the mistake of asking for something off menu for a drink. Wow! Was that a bad idea! It was SO bad, but I decided that since I had asked for something special I would drink this nasty drink. Did I mention that Isaac seemed like he would rather have his nails pulled out with pliers than help anyone? No? So weird. His super downer attitude was a real turn off. So we left the bar. We went to play games, and again made the mistake of talking to a staff member for something else. The waitress there also seemed like she would rather be anyplace else than at the bar and ANYTHING other than helping us. Again, what a downer. Since I work in a customer service environment, I thought it would be helpful to fill out a customer comment. Again, mistake…. oh boy! What a mistake! A manager came up and spoke to me. I don’t remember his name, but he was not the GM. He did not introduce himself when he walked up. Did not ask how he could help. He just walked up and stood there till we spoke to him. (Weird) I told him about our experience, and that we were leaving quickly due to the bummer attitude we were getting from the staff. I should mention at this point I had already paid my tab. I was not asking for anything for free. I was not asking for a discount for next time. I was simply trying to help. If I was getting this vibe, I can’t be the only one. I’m sure other people had this experience and they just left and would not return. So, the manager said all the right things like, oh I’m sorry, and I will talk with him, but his attitude was very condescending. I know he was just saying what he was saying to get us to leave. What a dick. I know I will not be back to PBS. I also know that I will tell everyone I talk to that this place doesn’t give a flying fuck about their customers happiness. They just want your money. I know now that there are much better places for much better food and drink at the domain. Like culinary dropout. I will be there next time. **update** I received a message from the owner with an apology and request to message my name and number to contact me directly. I did so and heard nothing in return. This place is the worst!!!

PHO’HOOKSAFISH – Menu with Prices – 2800 Tulane Ave, New Orleans

This is incredibly disappointing, not only for the quality of food, but also for the scumbag who owns the joint. The woman working at the front counter was very kind and tried to remedy my situation, alas, the owner of the “restaurant” was adverse to any sort of logic or reason. I got food poisoning from rancid, packaged bleu cheese dressing which was very old. Upon tasting the off bleu cheese, I began feeling ill. It completely ruined my meal, and I requested a refund. The woman at the front desk called the owner to explain the situation. The owner said that he would be right over– apparently his office is a few blocks away. He never came. He refused to offer me a refund over the phone and refused to give me a call after I had left. This place used to be Itialian Pie– we all know how that turned out. These people are old, New Orleans money crooks. Take your dollars elsewhere. Update: Got my money back through my credit card. The owner is an ass. Good luck with another failed business.

Tim Hortons – Menu with Prices – 10221 170 St NW Unit 1020, Edmonton

Close to my work, so I go here. Some of the staff members are not doing their job nicely. Last month I went to buy chicken panini, a Filipino lady was washing dishes, then she without washing her hands made my sandwich without even using gloves. When I refused to take it, she did not accept her mistake. When I refused again, she made very weird face, but made me new sandwich. Just a tip, if anyone goes to this Tim hortons, make sure you keep an eye, if they are making with clean hands.

The Original Georgie’s Pizza & Subs – Menu with Prices – 1661 Carling Ave, Ottawa

I absolutely love there pizza. it’s flavourful and yummy. the only thing that’s really grinding my gears, is that they keep forgetting to give me the correct drink. I specifically said i would like some Pepsi throwback, but each time i’ve ordered it recently they’ve given me the wrong drink. It’s either Pepsi or Coke. I gave them a ring, and the lady on the phone said yes we have 3 Pepsi throwback, but when i rang back it was a totally different situation. She marked down Coke. I really don’t how they could confuse throwback for coke. There pizza is happiness on a, plate. You know explaining the same situation to one person that is bad at hearing english, and then talking to the manager knowing he knew what i was talking about,to then being transfered to some other guy, that was like it clearly says coke. I repeat no i said pepsi throwback. This went on for 5 minutes.
