FOOD IS GOOD…. SERVICE NOT SO MUCH. Eaten at this location twice now. First time sat at the bar, and it was like we were invisible. Empty drinks and no one to offer a refill, although there were at least 4-6 bartenders working. They’re busy fraternizing but paying no attention to customers. Second time in, sat at a bar top in the bar area. After sitting down, it was more than 5 mins before anyone asked us if we’d like something to drink. Again, there was at least 6 employees working the bar area. After ordering, we consumed our entire meals, without a single employee asking if we needed anything or how our food was. When food was brought to table, we had empty drinks, but the food runner dropped the food and rushed away without asking if we needed anything. Half way thru my meal, I had an empty beer. Sat for over 10 mins with an empty drink, had four employees walk by our table and not a single one asked if we needed anything. Finally after 16 mins, an employee came to remove our plates and asked if I’d like another beer. The poor service is shocking to me. I grew up in the restaurant industry… service is minimally 50% of any restaurants success. With this kind of service, consistently bad, on both visits; I’d be shocked if this place succeeded in the long term. Like I said in the beginning of this review…. food is good, service not so much.

Naughty Monk Brewery – Menu with Prices – 2507 Lakewood Ranch Blvd, Bradenton

My first visit; will not return. Not enough bartenders(2) and with no wait staff you can expect to wait a disappointing 20-30 mins for a brew. Yes Thursdays are busy. It’s when you can’t even get to the bar to order, I tried to order from 3 different ends of bar. The men are locked into their brews. There are no signs “order here”. Expect no beer menus on the table (no pxs on menu either) don’t sit at a table, you will have to make a few attempts to get a brew yourself. Upon returning to my table empty handed, a bartender had approached my girlfriend asking if she needed a menu. Now why would you come to a table without one? Expect another 10 mins to see that !! When you finally get a beer at the bar expect to have that just one. The attempt to retrieve another will plain exhaust you and leave you thirsty. I feel bad the owners are losing out on customers as well as profits..without staffing. You have less than 10 mins to make a customer want to come back. These two ladies will not. The interior is great, the music a plus, but 5 little kids under 6 running laps turned the brewery into a daycare!!! The pizza food truck outside had better service with menus on the table. They bring your food to you!! I wish them much success and hope I got them on a bad night. After all they still are in business. Give them a try. Things may be better for you. For me, It was like getting in the wrong shopping lane on this visit.

Tempe Beer & Deli & liquor – Menu with Prices – 2044 E Southern Ave, Tempe

Amazing customer service! Yesterday, I went in looking for a particular beer. They didn’t have it, but the gentleman made a phone call on the spot to the guy who places their beer orders and asked him to please order it on their next order so they’d have it for me. Tonight, I went back again. There was a different employee working, and I asked him if he was the one who placed their beer orders (with the intention of thanking him for accommodating my request). The employee informed me that he was not, but that he would write down the name of the beer and ask that it be ordered for me. Amazing beer selection and even better customer service. I will now be going here for all of my beer purchases and will highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Phi Coffee & Tea – Menu with Prices – 3212 N Jupiter Rd Ste 115, Garland

This isn’t your standard boba shop. This is definitely much more of a coffee shop type place than somewhere to get your milk tea craving satisfied – actually, you can’t even get milk tea here. Which I thought was interesting. I asked the employee what he suggested getting since I had never been there before but still wanted to try something. He told me the most popular drink was the Thai green tea, which sounded pretty tasty since I’m a huge fan of matcha! He definitely did not steer me wrong – I really enjoyed the drink. If you’re a fan of Thai tea and matcha, this is the drink for you. It’s milky like Thai tea, semi-sweet, and filled with matcha flavor goodness. I would have given this place 4 stars had the boba been better made. It was extremely bland and way too chewy. I like my boba to be in between the consistency of soft and chewy, but unfortunately, I was chewing for too long on these little balls. There was also zero flavor, so if you just got a mouthful of boba and no tea, you’re stuck just chewing on flavorless jelly balls. It was odd. The manager also needs to staff their employees better because there was only one visible employee making all the drinks and I saw one employee in the back probably working on food orders. The poor guy was clearly overwhelmed with all the orders coming in so please cut your employees some slack and give them as much help as needed for the demand!

Kanpai Ramen – Menu with Prices – 1023 E Colorado St unit d, Glendale

I just spent over an hour there to have a bite. There was a male and a female serving the guests. I was sat at a table for two that had what looked like a glob of chipotle mayo sauce on top of it. My napkin and chopsticks were placed on top of the glob. Seriously. I waited (timed) 7 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. When they did, I pointed out the glob issue. My napkin and chopsticks were whisked away and my table was wiped down. Then they left. And stayed away. The table was soaking wet so I had to take a napkin from the table next to me and dry it off myself. A total of 11 passes by and 5 minutes later, I was asked what I wanted. I gave my order and in a surprisingly timely fashion, I was given my meal. I sat there for another 7+ minutes until I was given a new set of napkin and chopsticks to eat with, though. By this time my meal was starting to get cold. I ate my meal and drank my beer until I made the mistake of wanting another beer to drink with the remainder of my now cold meal. I placed the empty beer bottle on the farthest corner of the table away from me, as to indicate that I no longer wanted the empty bottle and would like to have a new full one. I sat there. Wanting another beer. Hoping someone would ask me if things were ok and did I need something else. OKAY, Now. There were less than 16 people in the place, using 6 tables. You would think I could get some attention. I didn’t. After 8 minutes waiting for someone to ask me if I needed anything, I got another beer. I finished my now totally cold meal, asked for the check, left ZERO tip, and left. I have been to this place 4 times in the last 2 months. The service has gotten progressively worse and the quality of the food has suffered a bit as well. ZERO for Service! Food quality- 4 out of 5. Atmosphere- 2/5.

Broiler Bay Hamburgers Menu with Prices 10636 Main St, Bellevue

I must admit I can not comment on the quality of food because the employee working chased us out the door before we could enter. With ZERO customers in the restaurant and every parking space open- including neighboring business spots, I was rudely confronted by the young employee and instructed to move my car to another lot, or to park again because it was taking up two spots. Once again, not a single customer at 4PM on a Monday and this employee was adamant to keep it that way. A note to the business owner, your employees should not chase away business before they walk in the door. You just missed out on a large order- burgers for an entire sports team. We will never visit this establishment again. Positive food reviews will not compensate for HORRIBLE customer service. Instead we took our business to an establishment that had TWO placards stating how important an experience is to a customer.

Craft Burrito Company – Menu with Prices – 40573 Margarita Rd Unit E, Temecula

Usually I love this place been a frequent customer since opening but recently it’s just like cmon. The customer service is frankly weird they have a decent size place with only like 2-3 ppl working, a bar with no bartender, and half the seats are outside in the hot or cold depends on the day. On a slow day my vegetarian burrito that consists of beans cheese lettuce sour cream and pico maybe takes a few minutes to come out but on a day where they have 2-3 customers It’ll take 20-25 mins. It’s just like every time we come it’s slower and slower. I sat and listened to the one man in the back pumping out burritos ring a bell for 10 mins before one of the high schoolers upfront grabbed 1 order and brought it out. It’s never busy enough to where employees don’t have time. I went to check on my order that I ended up making to go due to the fact of waiting almost 30 mins for 2 vegetarian burritos and all of sudden it’s done and ready to go. But waiting to dine in takes unusually long. Nothing in my burrito is being cooked it shouldn’t take more than 5 mins. I’ve worked in food industry and places like this they start off great and due to lack of management and bad customer service they sadly and quickly close or never grow. Hopefully something changes because I do like this place for a quick tasty burrito and great beer selections in town. And the building and decor itself is cool. P.S. I then get home to find cheese over the top when I asked for no cheese or sour cream on both my burritos. And the cashier asked me again if I wanted no cheese they still put cheese like it’s just a burrito it’s simple. Don’t put cheese. They need to review there quality in service.

Kroger Bakery – Menu with Prices – 110 Dover Crossing Rd, Clarksville

Thanks to my fellow Yelpers I’ve found this Kroger to be closer to my home and a better choice than the other ones in this area. The produce section isn’t as cluttered as the one near the Lowe’s and their organic/natural foods section is similarly organized and stocked, though it is on the small side. The biggest-and by far the best difference is the care and attention the employees put towards customers. I went in late on a Sunday night and I heard employees asking customers if they needed help finding anything, not like other places where customer avoidance seems to be the call of the day. When it was my turn to be lost I asked someone and instead of her taking me someone else who worked there walked by and took my to exactly where I needed. I haven’t had two employees offer to take me to what I needed in…ever. The topper was this, it was a slower evening so of course the people working the registers were talking to each other, but when I approached the cashier actually stopped to check out my items. They’ve won my heart and my money.

Siempre Natural ‘North 10th’ – Menu with Prices – 7501 N 10th St #60, McAllen

My review is not about the place or food, I love every single thing on the menu, I’m a regular and all is yummy, affordable and a little healthier than any other fast food place, the problem is when is not “fast”… And that falls on the employees, training etc. On average I always get a fast service, but not today, I just went and this guy Cristian on 10th St location is the laziest person I have ever seen! He takes his time on the meaningless things like 2 mins to put his gloves, phone rings and he took off the gloves again, then he put them back on, another minute then 10 mins to get a sandwich with only 1 ingredient, slooooow moves, slooooow steps, I understand he is maybe a rookie but his attitude was beyond lazy, even cynical, cause he kept laughing to himself while he knew he was being the slowest he would be and he was aware I was waiting for a long time already. There was another customer before me and he took like 20mins with her 2 sandwiches, salad and soups. My son called me, he was worried that I was taking too long to come back, he even asked “is there a big line?” I’m not exaggerating guys. Owners please train your people to take 5 mins at most with every order, every item on your menu is almost ready, it really should not be longer than that. McDonald’s policy is 2 mins per order and they have to do more steps… I’ll change my review when I’m sure the owners read this.

grumpy gary – Menu with Prices – 101 N Ocean Dr, Hollywood

I went in with my 18 year old son who had heat exhaustion and I purchased 3 bottles of water at the bar. My son sat across the bar in one of the empty tables. The bartender was nice enough to ask if he was ok since he was nauseous and not looking well. A few minutes later the manager showed up at our table and asked if he needed an ambulance and we said no but that he needed a few minutes to recover then he says â??oh well, we canâ??t have this hereâ? That we needed to leave. Mind you the area by the bar was practically empty and not during rush hour times but we where rudely asked to leave. So the manager stood there until we left like we where a nuisance. The manager showed no compassion and made it clear that he didnâ??t care if my son was sick and that he needed a few minutes to recover from the heat. I will never eat at this restaurant and the bottled water was over priced anyway. The bartender was nice and showed more professionalism than the manager.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 4511 Saufley Field Rd, Pensacola

I visited this new store on (12/14/18) around 9pm, when i arrived ,the line was around the building, after sitting there for 20 mins just to order my food. As i went to order.my food the person taking the order was rude over the intercom, and i had to repeat myself 3 timea because she was apparently talking to other employees instead of taking my order, after ordering i sat for another 10 mins watching 3 different cars infront of me leave. So after 15 total.mins i make it to the window. So i go to.pay for my food. There was 2 people on there phones walking around chit-chatting with eachother. So one girl come to the window and tells me its gonna be another 15 mins for my meal(which was suppost to be a 5 piece strip meal) and asked me if that was okay…No it wasnt but after a 10hr shift. I was hungry and just wanted my food. I WILL NEVER go to this store again. I didn’t leave out the drive thur till 10pm. Customer service was rude and i didnt even get what i ordered.i was given a 4 piece spicy mix box not strips. This store needs to fix there drive thur times.and get better employees.

Cangrejo Loco Mexican Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 1625 N Story Rd #136, Irving

This was one of our favorite places, until Friday night. Worst service ever. The waitress did not inform us of a fee for drinking ( BYOB) she was rude when asked about the fee on the receipt. She said we should already know. Never did they told us they would charge us $5.00 to open a beer. My friend who doesn’t drink open one beer took one sip and was charged $5.00. Apparently it’s 5.00 per person if you open a beer no matter if you drink it or not: No wonder this place was empty on a Friday night. Better customer service would make this place better. This place has no license to sell alcohol yet they still sold us micheladas. I will be reporting this. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Poor Boys of Richmond – Menu with Prices – 203 N Lombardy St, Richmond

The service here is terrible! The food however is pretty good. The bartender working the back bar where you are forced to wait until your table is ready should be fired. He was more interested in talking to the waitresses than making a drink. At one point with only 2 customers at the bar waiting for his attention he didn’t even acknowledge us. We would have enjoyed more drinks, but without service you can’t exactly order anything. Our appetizers came out before our drinks were even made. Somehow a beer was the last drink to come. When i tried to close my tab in the back I was told they would transfer it, but i wanted to close it out so we could separate checks later in an easier fashion. The host/guy seeming to be in charge of everyone that night assured me he would close it. Even asked my name to close the tab for me. He never did. I asked again…still never closed the tab. When we were finally given a table in the front we started walking up and the female bartender we walked past with a full bar was staring at her phone ignoring all the customers with empty glasses. Obviously working hard for her tips. Once we were seated for dinner the service was still crap. Again drinks came out after food, showing that the bartenders at the front bar are just as incompetent as the back bar staff. The waitress was good. Our glasses weren’t clean. Lipstick all over one of the glasses which was slightly revolting. The host/guy in charge was probably the worst person working that night. A group of his friends came in and he sat at the table with them watching the basketball game and talked while there were quite a few tables looking annoyed without anyone coming to check on them. He seemed to get frustrated when his coworkers would ask for help with the POS system. The only good thing at this place is the food. This is why they got 2 stars, but good food doesn’t equal success, you actually need good service to go with it. The owner should fire every service person working there and only leave the kitchen staff that are more than capable of cooking delicious food. I strongly suggest there is an intervention and come to Jesus meeting about professionalism. Unfortunately, I don’t foresee this place lasting very long unless the owner does something to fix his horrible service staff. I’d be embarrassed if I owned this business…
