Pretty excited a rotating sushi bar is here in town. I would suggest this place to anyone in town who enjoys sushi or for adventurous eaters. For those who don’t know, sushi goes around a conveyor belt and you can pick up whatever you want to eat. Since it’s not all you can eat, and you pay per plate, the price can rack up pretty quick. I easily racked up a bill of $60+ for just me. However, for me it was totally worth it. You can find certain types of sushi you can’t find anywhere else in town such as sweet shrimp. The quality and freshness of the sushi itself can be variable however, especially if they have been rotating all day. If you aren’t in the mood for sushi, they also have bowls and other things like calamari available. You can also order directly if you are craving a certain thing on the menu. This place is also great if you are in a rush because there will also be sushi already available once you walk in. Overall, I would suggest this place to everyone in town. Even though the price can be expensive, especially for your typical rolls, you can find certain things here that you can’t find anywhere else.

Azuls Taco House – Menu with Prices – 1142 Edgewater St NW, Salem

Very underwhelming. I wouldnt call these authentic, only because I spend a great deal of time in Mexico (about every 6 weeks) and they arent even close. I could see how those who arent familer would call these “street tacos”. I Ordered the shrimp tacos. Tortilla is great and shrimp were cooked nice but wasnt very good. The shrimp is cooked in a style that I would put on a Po’boy, not in a taco. Cabbage “filler” needs some flavor, specifically a little cilantro and onions, maybe a sauce in with it. It had diced tomato that didnt add flavor and were mushy. Didn’t care for chipotle aioli sauce that came on shrimp. Ordered a side of chips and salsa and were served a tiny side of completly stale tostitos style chips and a cilantro tasting salsa that wasnt very good either. We thought it was a free sample till we realized that was the chip order. I would say slightly embarrassed that is what they are offering. I appreciate what they’re attempting but I have had better at various taco trucks around town.

Fujisan Sushi Menu with Prices 1216 Harris Ave, Bellingham

Wonderful new little sushi restaurant. Iâ??ve been there two times since my first try. Very very clean, quick service and excellent fresh food.. . Iâ??ve had the wonderful octopus, tempura shrimp appetizers, small house salad, the 5 piece sashimi (bigger pieces than others), sushi, miso soup, and the teriyaki eel and rice bowl. I can attest that ALL were the best, just excellent. Best of all, good quality at a lower fair price!. . This is my sushi place now instead of Blue Fin Sushi, I find the value is much better and quality is just as good while they have some different things than Blus Fin.. . I highly recommend, you wonâ??t be disappointed.

Kisso Asian Bistro Menu with Prices 300 King St, Alexandria

Absolutely fantastic! From the sticky shredded beef to delicately rolled sushi, I think I’ve found the hidden gem of Old Town! I’m a huge fan of Kumo Asian Bistro so once I heard they opened up a sister restaurant, I instantly knew I had to taste what the buzz was all about. So I took my boyfriend and best friend out to dine here on a Saturday night and we ordered nearly half the menu. No, seriously, we did! For starters we tried the Rock Shrimp appetizer: alluring from the description and it surely didn’t disappoint. The shrimp were large, succulent, crispy, piping hot and surely coasted with a sweet yet hot glaze. Delicious! If there’s one thing I suggest you try off this menu, it’s definitely this. For entrees we ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Shrimp n’ Chicken Katsu, 3 Sushi Rolls, Basil Shrimp and of course, the most popular dish on their menu, the coveted sticky shredded beef! Hands down a diverse menu of items we selected but all lived up to my Yelping taste buds. I love how the Pad Thai wasn’t dry and that they added a lot of chicken. The Basil Shrimp was exceptional! The shrimps were large and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of heat. The sushi rolls: you can’t fool anyone with good quality sushi. I mean, their sister restaurant is known for the sushi so you best believe that Kisso will bring their A-Game to the sushi game too. Boy-o-boy, they didn’t disappoint at all! Each roll was executed beautifully and the combination of flavors in every bite was well worth the calories and carbs! Oh well, gains right? A new favorite we recommend is the Mermaid Roll which has shrimp, avocado and lobster! Of course we had to seal the deal with a nice dessert so we opted for the fried ice cream! The bread batter was really good and it paired well with the Vanilla flavored ice cream they selected. Overall, a great place for date night or even a casual night out with some friends while exploring old town. My only critic is that they need to add a lot more decor!

Sushi Revolution – Menu with Prices – 5225 Tacoma Mall Blvd Suite D101, Tacoma

Probably the worst sushi place we have ever been too. Extremely over priced for the horrible quality of sushi made. The food tasted old like it’s been sitting out for some time now.I’m surprised this place is still open for business. Now let’s talk about the service we received. One of their employees were super sweet to us who helped check us out. As far as the other employees I can’t speak much about them. I had requested for new sushi rolls which there are signs that say you can request for them. Instead of getting us new sushi, she pulls one from the belt and when we had asked if they were fresh she says yes. Clearly they weren’t by the quality of every sushi we had tasted since we got there. when I had told her that I didn’t want those she took them from me, rolled her eyes and went to talk about me to her other coworkers. When I had asked the sweet employee about ordering new sushi she had mentioned that the only way for me to get new sushi is by ordering at least 3 (when there are no signs saying there are any minimum requirements). Overall, our sushi experience here has been nothing but horrible! I would highly suggest no one come here due to the poor quality of food and even more so horrible customer service.

Crazy Fish Sushi – Menu with Prices – 11701 San Jose Blvd #23, Jacksonville

This place was great! It’s a small, clean space with super friendly staff. I ordered a lunch special of 2 rolls with salad, that came to just under $10 total. I got the Boston roll and shrimp tempura roll. I thought both were very tasty and the presentation was lovely. I’ve been looking for a reliable place to get my sushi craving, and I really like this new spot. I wish they offered agedashi tofu and beef negimaki (something difficult to find in many sushi places in Jax for some reason). But their offerings are on par with other sushi restaurants, and I feel had a more pleasant environment. Some others I’ve been to are just too dark, or just not as tasty. The salad was a nice size, cold, crisp, and presented nicely. They also offer ramen bowls, poke bowls, and a kid’s menu. I may try a ramen bowl in the future, but I think it’s not pork belly (more the pork loin, and I prefer pork belly) so it’s hard to bring myself to order it. But I may try the shrimp tempura ramen bowl. I will definitely be back for my sushi fix and look forward to trying other dishes! Highly recommend a visit here!

Sushi Lover – Menu with Prices – 400 W 5th St, Reno

I went here today and was so disgusted by the food and service I received here. We walked in and were greeted by no one. The sign said to wait to be seated so we waited. We stood for probably about a minute before a man (I believe the owner) finally just pointed to two seats and told us to sit down. When we sat down the man shoved all-you-can-eat menus into my hand and asked me to order. I decided to do the all-you-can eat because I love sushi. The price was nowhere listed but ended up being 21 dollars. This price did not include and appetizers or desserts. The restaurant was empty apart from me and my husband but service was still incredibly slow. But what was even worse than the service and atmosphere was the sushi. I ordered a California roll and a shrimp tempura roll (I order cooked rolls to star with when I don’t know the quality of the food) and what I got was terrible. The shrimp tempura was soaked in a sweet sauce which made it soggy and falling apart. It was cut into little pieces and mixed together. I almost gagged when I took a bite of it. I tried the California and the avocado tasted old and the roll was very poorly put together. I could barely finish one roll because of how disgusting it was. I have never left all-you-can-eat ordering less than 3 rolls, but I couldn’t even stomach the two I ordered. On top of everything, I watched the woman preparing the sushi make ours, go eat some of her food, and then make the other roll. She didn’t wash her hands or wear gloves. I was horrified. I will never return and I highly suggest you stay away. Would give 0 stars if I could

Hibachi Steak & Sushi – Menu with Prices – 1332 E Republic Rd, Springfield

I used to love Hinode and some of the other big pretty sushi places in town like them. But the way I order sushi, it would always have a super big bill and not alot of sushi. But then I tried this place, and omg. Looks are very deceiving because it doesn’t look like much at all on the outside or inside. But the food is where their juice is at lol. Same great taste as other prettier MUCH more expensive sushi places in town, but for like half the price almost. The food is great, the prices are VERY reasonable, the ppl are nice, and I’ve never seen it super crowded, at least not when I’ve gone. I think it’s a hidden gem for this type of food in this area. Hope this helps folks.

Ichiban Japanese Restaurant – Menu with Prices – # 1054, 3019, 3701 McKinley Pkwy, Buffalo

Whenever I am in Hamburg and want sushi I go to Fuji San, that’s been an easy go to spot. So this past time I decided to give another place a shot. I looked up sushi restaurants in the area and Ichiban came up. It had great reviews so I called in and place my order. I got a tuna avocado roll, salmon cucumber roll, yellowtail scallion roll and spicy tuna roll all with brown rice. I also ordered shrimp tempura, a small green salad and miso soup. I think the total came to $40, which was a fair price. I used my GPS to get to the restaurant and was surprised when I saw the outside, it was in a small strip mall and didn’t look that appealing from the outside. Parked, went inside and was surprised again because the inside was really nice, the outside was very deceiving and the restaurant was much larger once stepping inside. The food was just about ready when we got there. The rolls were awesome, they were enormous! Sushi really doesn’t fill me up, my boyfriend and I always joke that whenever we go out for sushi we leave and want to go for another dinner. These rolls definitely filled me up. I was impressed. They only serve low sodium soy, which is great, not sure if they offered gluten free soy or not, I didn’t ask. The miso soup was delicious and the ginger salad dressing was awesome. Overall my first take out experience here was really good and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again the next time I am in town and the mood strikes for sushi!

Sushi Lover – Menu with Prices – 313 N Broadway, Green Bay

Ok so there’s two all you can eat sushi places in town and I think I’m going to have to give this one the better review. First of all their price is $12.99 or $13.99 for lunch and $17.99 for dinner the other one just raised their price to $24.99 for dinner..not sure about lunch but it might $17.99. Either way it’s more expensive. and really their menu is old! This place is dark inside, nice atmosphere, and the service is great. The lunch selection is not quite what it is for dinner, but they still have quite a bit on the menu to choose from..and it includes all you can eat crab rangoons that are the bomb!!! My husband did not care for the shrimp tempura appetizer or the chicken teriyaki. He’s not a sushi eater. The sushi eaters loved it though!!!! They’ve got some great rolls. The only disappointment was I took my nephew there for his birthday and my brother called in while we were there and asked to have a desert brought to the table. She said she could see where we were sitting and told him they would make a big deal out of his birthday. I knew nothing about this until later that day because they never did anything. No desert or recognition at all. That was disappointing!!

Sushi 2 You – Menu with Prices – 2640 52 St NE, Calgary

This is a hidden gem for all Sushi lovers. A gourmet restaurant quality sushi for a fraction of the price you pay at high end restaurants. Cheaper and way tastier then Edo Japan. I come here for lunch all the time as a student an on a budget. I highly recommend asking for the mango roll or house special roll and you will be surprise for the price you pay, it tastes like restaurant sushi.

Sushi Miyazawa – Menu with Prices – 372 Chandler St, Worcester

This place is amazing. It truly is the most authentic sushi restaurant I have been to in New England. To begin, it is located in a nice brick building with parking so you don’t need to search or pay for street parking. The hostess/waitress is very friendly and nice. I appreciate that there is a sign in wait list and you can sit in the indoor tables outside while contemplating what you want to order. This place is also BYOB so remember to bring a nice authentic bottle or cup of Sake or a Asahi beer to pair with the sushi to get the most out of your experience. I ordered the nigiri omakase. It was very good. I was very impressed with the quality and the freshness of the fish. Not only the the sushi chef meticulously craft each delicate piece, he made it into a work of art. The sushi chefs were very nice and authentically Japanese. 5/5 stars in my opinion. You know that it’s an awesome restaurant when you see a waitlist when you walk in the door! I will be coming back very soon! To sum it all up, this place does amazing work. I’ve traveled the world, lived in Japan, NYC, LA and even Boston; I have to say that the quality and taste of this sushi can rival that of a competitive restaurant in Japan and New York. I am also one of the harshest and dreadfully honest critics on Yelp. This establishment has my stamp of approval. P.S.- this is addressing the comment where the sushi chefs do not wear food gloves; ONLY TRUE SUSHI CHEFS DO NOT WEAR FOOD GLOVES! Below is an excerpt from the Guardian: “Sushi is traditionally prepared with bare hands, and good chefs rely on tactile sensation to gauge the quality of the meat – the freshness, the fattiness, the oil content – that they’re cutting and molding into just the right bites” Reference: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2015/nov/12/why-i-want-my-sushi-prepared-with-bare-hands I, myself, would walk out of a sushi restaurant if the sushi chef wore gloves. It detracts from the connection the chef has with the food he is preparing. It allows him to better understand the quality and texture of the ingredients he is working with- Per the article I cited above. Watch the “Jiro Dreams of Sushi” documentary for your own further edification so that you do not sound foolish making ignorant and silly comments.

Laredo Express Sushi – Menu with Prices – 3302 Cuatro Vientos Dr, Laredo

Great price! The sushi was very good for the best price in town. I had a lot of trouble finding the place because the maps takes you outside of the plaza that is covered by a dead end. Which was very upsetting because I already live very far from this location. The rice was a little too dry almost like eating plastic food. And I was told the other side I believe is a crab salad could have been better as well. Besides that the sushi was delicious
