This is my go-to lunch spot when I’m on campus! Super quick, cheap, and YUMMY. Noodle Head offers noodle bowls, rice bowls, soups, and plenty of veggie-based options. My favorite is the chicken yakisoba. The sauce is delicious, and it comes with water chestnuts, carrots, bok choy, and crushed cashews. The variety of flavors and textures go together wonderfully, and the chicken is always tender. I also enjoy the karee kai, which is a rice bowl with yellow coconut curry and potatoes, carrots, and onions. The curry is wonderful. I usually have to avoid the spicier foods, but this curry is a solid medium and it’s just right for me. It’s rich and thick, with that sweet and savory flavor combo that I’m crazy about. I’ve also ordered the pad thai, and I haven’t been quite as pleased with it. Eugene has plenty of great Thai restaurants, and I’ve had better pad thai at some of the more upper scale, sit down places. The pad thai here is decent, but I could taste ketchup in the sauce, which isn’t how I prefer my pad thai. It was lacking in the peanut-y flavor. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to all U of O students! It’s quick and casual, and in my opinion has the best food around campus. Perfect for a quick break between study sessions at the Knight Library. ?

Jasmine Thai Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 2017 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville

My wife and I tried Jasmine Thai for the first time yesterday. Although it is close to our home, it’s not on a part of Wade Hampton that we are on frequently so we haven’t gone until now. Also and I hate to admit, the times we have driven by it just didn’t look that appealing in that small strip mall. Anyway we wanted to try something new and we are glad we did. I have to say this is by far the best Thai Cuisine we’ve had in Greenville since moving here in 2013. My wife started with the Tom Yum Kai thai spicy soup with exotic thai herbs with mushroom, lime juice, lemongrass, galangal, cilantro and added shrimp.We shared several items including Pineapple Fried Rice, stir fried jasmine rice with egg, pineapple chunks, curry powder, raisins, scallions, cashew nuts and onions, The Pad See, stir fried wide rice noodle, egg, broccoli, carrots and thai sweet soy sauce, added shrimp and Mix Vegetables with broccoli, cabbages, carrots, onions, mushroom, soy bean paste.Everything was fresh and delicious. The prices are very resonable and the service was attentive, friendly and just perfect! Jasmine Thai is now our Go to Thai place of choice!

Changs Thai Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 3620 N Freeway Blvd #310, Sacramento

So this has been our go to for Thai food in Natomas since we first tried it when they opened. We been here a few times already. So far we had Drunken Noodle, seafood salad, spicy seafood, Thai friend rice and basil fried rice, and maybe some others I can’t remember. We order everything Thai Hot. They were all delicious, spicy, and full of Thai flavor! Lots of protein and portion size was great! But the best part??? How authentic and flavorful everything was! That’s why I love Thai food, lots of delicious flavor! I can’t have my Thai food watered down! Now, we tried all the Thai spots in Natomas, and each spot has something different that we liked. Most weren’t perfect, but close enough. I used to have a diff spot for drunken noodle, basil chicken, basil fried rice, boat noodle soup, etc. Now that I found Chang’s, I haven’t been back to any of them except one for my noodle soups! But I’m hoping Chang’s start offering Boat Noodle Soup or Tom Yum noodle soup soon! I’m super picky about my Thai food because I’ve had the best of the best in SoCal, Bay Area, and Thai Temples. I like my Thai food authentic and not watered down. Im most picky about my Pad Thai, so I haven’t tried Chang’s pad Thai, yet, in fear of disappointment. But I will. I plan on trying a lot of other stuff, and I’m sure I won’t be disappointed bc so far everything has been perfect! We haven’t actually ate at the restaurant, but they have always been super nice and accommodating over the phone. Very friendly when we pick up as well. We had a lot of spots in Natomas get our orders wrong, but Chang’s haven’t gotten any of our orders wrong, yet… hoping they continue this streak! Tonight, we are having Drunken Noodle and Basil Fried Rice again!!! I’m telling you guys, they have the best!!! :))))

Tom Yum Thai Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 233 Regent Ave W, Winnipeg

Been going there for a long time. Went back( today, they changed owner, new menu.) I ordered crab blossom, Thai rice noodle soup and pad Thai. So disappointed, the Thai rice noodle soup is just imitation of viet pho with really sweet soup, pad Thai was really sweet and crab blossom came with really sweet sauce. Over all its not an authentic thai resto. It’s a restaurant for foreign who doesn’t know what’s real Thai food is….. Everything just extra sweet. I had a long day n the meal was disappointing.

Monorom Cambodian Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 2150 E Anaheim St, Long Beach

I don’t really ever order on Postmates, but they just sent me a $20 coupon with no minimum, so obviously I was going to use that – decided to use it here. Initial experience was great: arrived literally exactly when Postmates estimated, down to the minute (about 55 minutes from ordering, not unreasonable), and was exactly what we ordered (student noodle, and pad se ew, both chicken), and still hot. I miss the days where Thai noodle dishes were generally $8 or less, but I know, inflation is a thing – $11 seems pretty standard these days. Quantity felt pretty typical, too – the containers weren’t enormous, but they weren’t tiny, either. So I really want to give it a better rating, but the food was honestly just ok. (Actually, this is another in an increasingly long list of places where I wish yelp would let me give 3 1/2 stars.) The student noodle was actually pretty good – not the best student noodle I’ve had, but quality. Solid 4 star student noodle. The pad se ew, though… was the blandest Thai food I’ve ever had. It honestly tasted like they cooked each individual ingredient by itself, with no seasoning, and then dumped them all together at the end: noodles that just tasted like noodles, chicken that just tasted like chicken, carrots that just tasted like carrots, and Chinese broccoli that just tasted like Chinese broccoli. I like all of those things, but normally pad se ew is going to taste like all of those things *and more*, not just like a plate with those things on it by themselves. It was a bit better after we doused it liberally with sriracha, but you shouldn’t have to. I’d get the student noodle again, though. Just bad luck for them, since I would’ve given them a better rating if I’d *only* tried the student noodle.

UNI CURRY BOWL RESTAURANT & CATERING – Menu with Prices – 230 N 17th St, Lincoln

Was impressed by the basmati rice, it was perfect. My wife is Thai and makes great green curry, so I got that for comparisons sake. It was pretty good, the right amount of spice and flavor combined with the good rice pulled the dish together. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, just squash and carrots though. Bottom line was the food was fresh, flavorful and healthy. Mixing the curry sauce was necessary to carry the dish, as the chicken was pretty basic, but once everything was mixed it was very tasty. The service was also very fast, comparable to if I’d gone through a drive through, so that was nice I was really distressed to see no one in the establishment during the lunch rush. I hate it when I see Burger King and Macdonald’s with lines out the door and a nice local place just struggling to survive.

MaDee Thai Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 401 E 17th St, Costa Mesa

What Grace N. said… Best Thai food in OC. I’ve been exploring Thai food for the past 20 years. Thai food used to be authentic and hard to find. Now it’s everywhere and completely Americanized. I’ll use one of my favorite dishes as an example, Pad Krapow. Pad Krapow consists of meat such as pork, chicken, beef, and seafood stir fried with Thai holy basil and garlic. It is served with rice and topped up (optional) with fried eggs . The main seasonings are soy sauce, Thai fish sauce, oyster sauce, cane sugar, and bird’s eye chili. This dish is typically somewhat spicy due to the bird chilies. When it’s done authentically, the flavor of the basil and the garlic are dominant. Lastly the flavor works best when the pork or chicken is ground. In almost any Thai restaurant in OC this dish is sliced chicken breast in oyster sauce with no chilies and some bell pepper. If that sounds bland, it is. The food at Ma Dee is authentic Bangkok street food. Everything from the noodle dishes to the soups are amazing. It’s a hole in the wall but so good.

Thai Kitchen Temecula – Menu with Prices – 27520 Ynez Rd STE C1, Temecula

BEST THAI RESTAURANT EVER. NOT GOING ANYWHERE ELSE FOR THAI FOOD OTHER THAN THIS PLACE! Food was excellent and service was superb! We had the Thai Iced Tea, Crab Fried Rice, Tofu Yellow Curry, Thai Royal Noodles, Tom Kha, Chicken Teriyaki and Mango Sticky Rice! Everything was delicious and Thai Iced Tea was buy one get one free! You can ask them to make your thai iced tea less sweet if you want to btw. My favorite would be the Tom Kha, it’s the best I’ve had. The perfect balance between, sweet, sour, spicy, salty and creamy. My next favorite would be the crab fried rice. No words for it, it’s that good. The yellow curry is absolutely perfect with rice, whether it’s white or brown. Lastly, the Mango Sticky rice was the perfect way to end dinner if you want something not too sweet. I may be saying perfect too much throughout this review but it is what it is and you won’t regret dining/eating here. 100% will recommend to anyone even if you haven’t had thai food.

Tup Tim Thai Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 3860 Commercial St SE, Salem

I am impressed with all of the food I have had from here. I was pretty discouraged with most of the Thai places in Salem. I am pretty spoiled with a good selection in the Eugene area. My Aunt suggested this place, and said their drunken noodles are good. I usually judge a Thai restaurant on how well they make their drunken noodles. If they make a great drunken noodle, then most of the time everything else tastes up to par as well. Their drunken noodle are really good. Not the best I have had, but still pretty dang good. 2 star is plenty of spice. They also have nampula on the table for those of you daring to want your food a little more spicy. My boys always order 4, or five star. So they were fine with what they had. I ended eating here two days in a row. Once dining in, the other we had ubereats.com I tried their pad Thai, crispy spring rolls, drunken noodles, chili basil, and crispy won tons. All of which were delicious. Even being delivered. It is really hard to impress this Thai food junky. I would return again when I am up in the area. I am glad my Aunt recommended this place.

Talay Thai Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 406 First St SE, Washington

Walking by Talay Thai, the place looks somewhat deserted. Walking into Talay Thai, you realize that you’ll be dining alone or with one or two other tables. Eating at Talay Thai, none of that really matters. We met a friend here on a Sunday night a few weeks back. I ordered a glass of wine, and while they only offered a small wine selection, they made up for it with a generous pour! First, we had the Curry Puffs as an appetizer, and they were crispy and not too spicy at all. For the main meal I had sweet and sour chicken with rice. The chicken was covered with the perfect amount of sauce and the veggies were grilled with lots of flavor and spice. I really enjoyed my meal. Overall, everything I ate was delicious Thai food and I’d recommend giving Talay Thai a try!

Tuptim Thai Cuisine Menu with Prices 4896 Washtenaw Ave, Ypsilanti

Me and my husband both are huge fan of Thai cuisine. After leaving San Diego we never got many good Thai place to eat in Michigan, specially in Ann Arbor. Tuptim Thai Cuisine restaurant is just near my house but still I was reliant to try this place reading the reviews. Today at lunch I took my chances and went there. It wasn’t a bad experience but not a very good one either. They do have plenty of free parking space both sides of the restaurant. As soon I walked in I was seated by a very serious man. Both the servers one man and woman were nice to me, they came to ask if everything was ok but none of them smiled for once. Anyway back to the main thing – food. I am a huge huge fan of Penang Curr duck. As it was my first time there I wanted to order something safer. So I ordered Penang curry chicken. It came with a side vegetable tofu soup and one spring roll. The soup was simple yet fresh. The spring roll was ok. I never find much to compliment a spring roll as it has literally nothing inside of it. The curry on the other hand wasn’t good. It was simply pale. One of the main reasons I love Penang curry because of its coconut sauce which should always has a sweeter taste to it. In this case it was more towards spicy and paler side. Still it was ok but the vegetables they put in that curry was simply taken out from frozen bag and put it in there. Green peas, beans and carrots. The whole packaged vegetables they just threw in that curry. I couldn’t even eat my vegetables. I was very hungry when the food came. Seeing the portion of the rice I was thinking that I might have to order more but at the end I couldn’t eat the rice because the entire curry was so bland. I just picked up the chicken pieces and ate. The pricing is good. Specially with their quality of food I think it’s justified. I will probably go back again to try few more dishes and see if my idea of the place changes or not. This place is not terribly bad. I will be back I want to update my review based on my recent experience in this place. Last night me and my husband went there for dinner. We went around 6:30 pm and the place was quite full. The service this time was pleasant and prompt. Atmosphere was nice. We ordered Thai chicken fried rice and chicken Penang curry. The curry came with white rice on the side. I must say the food was good and huge portion. Specially the fried rice was excellent and very large portion. Usually around dinner time my husband’s appetite is skyrocketing. And he loves eating rice. So we have to order tons of rice. Yesterday also we were thinking we might have to order more rice but at the end we happily shared that one plate. In each bite we got huge size chicken. It was really well prepared dish. Although the curry on the other hand has the same problem I faced last time. They don’t prepare their veggies and chicken separately at all. The broth of the curry was really flavorful this time but the chicken was extremely blunt and flavorless. If they could have sautéed the chicken little bit before putting it into the curry it would have been a great dish. May be I am this critical about these preparations because I keep on comparing them with my west coast experience. We ended our dinner with their mango sticky rice and I must say that is one of the best mango sticky rice dish I have eaten in long time. It was cooked to perfection. Though I am not fully happy the way they cook their curry but I will still go there and experiment more new dishes along with excellent mango sticky rice.

Bangkok Cafe Menu with Prices 930 W 5th Ave, Anchorage

I had been wanting to come here for a while after my coworker mentioned this is (was?) his favorite Thai restaurant in town. I’m not downtown that often so when I was nearby I came here for dinner. Place was completely dead when I came in, which seemed weird for a restaurant across from a hotel in a Saturday in June in Alaska. Some tourists came in as I finished up but I figured it would have been busier. Hostess/waitress was nice. But other than that, everything was unremarkable. I ordered yellow curry with chicken and Thai iced tea. She asked if I wanted it spicy and I said yes. It was barely spicy at all. When I got the receipt, it said “mild” so I guess that explained it. I should have asked for medium but when another table asked for medium spicy she suggested it was too much. Presentation was lacking, and I couldn’t help but notice the bowls and plates were chipped and felt very cheap. The curry had large chunks of chicken and potatoes which I appreciated, but it just wasn’t very good. No flavor other than the mild spice from the peppers. It was weirdly oily too. The chicken was tender but oddly dry. Thai iced tea was too sweet so I didn’t even finish it. The price was about average (for Anchorage) and the portion size was generous, so I had plenty to take home. Not that I was exactly excited about that, I just figured I might as well not let it go to waste since I spent the money on it. Overall just disappointing and forgettable. Definitely won’t go out my way to come here again. There’s other Thai restaurants in town I find much more enjoyable.

Curry In A Hurry Foods – Menu with Prices – 6541 Stadium Dr, Kalamazoo

Tried and loved the spicy curry fries from the food truck so husband and I decided to head to their brick and mortar restaurant today. And I was blown away. I got the spicy curry, which comes with rice, a delightfully cool yogurt-cucumber sauce and picked carrots. I requested my curry be extra spicy and the owner/chef/mastermind Willy definitely delivered. This is the best Indian chicken curry in town. Hands down. Highly recommend local yelpers to give this place a try. Just go easy on spice level if you can’t handle the heat. The spices are spot on and the pickled carrots and yogurt really complement the chicken. Husband tried the spicy meatball wrap which was also very tasty. Definitive five stars. Be forewarned that this has taken over the unit where Jambo African cuisine used to be – and they haven’t quite renovated the place. Ambience isn’t the best – but the food steals the show.
