Haven’t been to the store front, only their Taco Truck that’s parked at Manchester Mall’s parking lot on Fridays. Let me remind you, in regards to them being a taco truck, they get busy during the lunch hour so, if you see an available seating area, grab it while you can. The staff may not be able to step away to clean the table due to them being busy cooking/serving, so don’t be stuck up to do the wiping the table yourself…hence taco truck. They don’t need to have the tables & chairs set up. So let me tell you about their food–FIRE! Since I’ve tried their ceviche & fish tacos…hands down the best in town for me! The gentleman with the beard is very courteous and accommodates special requests without making a stink face like another staff member did. I haven’t really tried anything else since I’m stuck on the usual, but anyone who has ordered something different, I’ve seen it and seen how those folks devoured it! I have also tried their shrimp tacos, these are fried like their fish ones. These tacos need to be eaten on the spot due to the salsa and their special sauce that they add, or they’ll loose that crispy texture and end up soggy. The salsa added or the special sauce is not spicy but has that great flavor that does not over power the seafood. Their shrimp ceviche is perfect! The shrimp is fully cooked (boiled), if you’re wondering. They can do the ones marinated in lemon but with my current pregnancy situation, I stuck with the boiled shrimp. I’ve added the special sauce into my ceviche for a creamier texture (for those that have eaten ceviche with a bit of mayo…but some of you probably are caught off guard by that, so yes…try it before you knock it). It’s less acidic when you add the mayo or special sauce with some hot sauce. Anything to do with Mexican seafood meals, I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be returning. I do need to check out their store front one day to update this review. Check this place out, hope your experience is as great as mine!

Ensenada’s Surf N Turf Grill – Menu with Prices – 2931 Nutwood Ave, Fullerton

We recently moved from Bellflower, and we used to always go to Taco Nazo, which is well known for their fish tacos. Now that live in Anaheim, we were looking for a fish taco place that would be comparable to our old spot. Baja California definitely is on par with them! We ordered a grilled fish taco combo, shrimp ceviche tostada, and three more fish tacos on the side. It came out to a little over $20 for everything. Let me tell you, their shrimp ceviche was AMAZING. I work next to a market that has a specialty ceviche bar, but Baja California’s ceviche was way better, and cheaper too. It comes with two tostadas and a good amount of ceviche, topped with avocado. I’d come back just for that! They have their ceviche making station right next to the cashier so you can see them make it. It seemed like every single person ordered ceviche, lol. The grilled fish tacos were delicious as well. The fish was a good size, not too small. I always end up taking off one tortilla since it comes with two just because I feel it’s too much, but that’s just personal preference. The rice and beans were alright, nothing too special. I really like how they have a station where you can get your own lime and chiles. The only downside is we’re used to them being served freshly grilled and warm, and these were cold, but they still tasted good. Perfect accompaniment to the tacos. Their food is reasonably priced ($8-$9 for a 2 taco combo). They had a lot of seating and the tv was showing the football game, which was a plus. We will definitely be back, gotta try the fried fish tacos next time!

Mariscos Los Chavalones Mexican Restaurant Menu with Prices 2751 W Lincoln Ave #6332, Anaheim

Hubby and I came here with a huge craving for Ceviche and other mariscos. First off, they have musicians come to play loud music! So loud that I couldn’t have a conversation without yelling. Mind you, my husband is hard of hearing and even he said it was loud! We ordered Ceviche and two Marlin tacos. The Ceviche was sour as heck and it had more veggies than shrimp and octopus. The tacos were aight but not worth the $4.50 per taco! We also ordered fried fish tacos and a shrimp taco…. O.o Oh LAWD!! They not only took forever to make them, but when they finally got to our table they were cold and the shrimp taco had a medium breaded shrimp cut in half with tons of veggies on top! I was about to snap and send them back, but hubby calmed me down and I just let him eat them. On another note, the waitresses stand around and don’t come to check on you often. Oh, hubby wanted me to add that she took his unfinished beer when she came to clean up our table. Lol Never again.

Lonchera Mariscos El Gordo – Menu with Prices – 370 E St Ste B, Chula Vista

I was a bit weary trying out this place as it only had 1 review. It was the only one opened at 7pm on a Sunday in the area so I decided to go for it and fulfill my craving. I don’t regret my decision one bit. Shrimp cocktail – amazing taste! I would have to say this is one of the better ones I’ve had from a mariscos truck. Filled to the very brim. 7 mares soup – basically still boiling by the time you get home! Good seafood selection and they definitely don’t hold back in the amount they give. Shrimp chipotle taco – simple & exactly as is. Shrimp and chipotle. Very flavorful. They have good deals throughout the week too. Monday – 2 tostadas de ceviche for $4.50 + 2 medium cocktails for $16. Tuesday – 89 cent fish tacos Wednesday – gobernador, enchilado de Cameron & marlin tacos 2 for $6. Thursday – same deal as Wednesday + medium cocktails 2 for $16 & $2 shrimp taco. Family Sunday – $2 Shrimp tacos & ceviche de pescado 2 for $4.50. Safe to say, I’ll be back in no time.

Los Plebes ” Tacos & Mariscos ” Menu with Prices 9830 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge

If I could give this good truck more than 5 stars I would. I drive all the way to austin from Baton Rouge specifically to go eat at food trucks. This one is by far one of the best food trucks I’ve ever eaten at. Not only is their food GORGEOUS and not sloppy, but it’s priced right and it’s super tasty! It’s mainly seafood items, (mariscos = seafood in Spanish) but they have some of the best carne asada street tacos EVER. Holy cow. If you love spicy food, Mexican food, and seafood….. you gotta check this truck out! I had the Mitotera (shrimp, calamari, scallop, octopus in a spicy sauce… basically a spicy seafood ceviche!) and carne asada tacos and shrimp tacos. They gave us 4 diff types of salsa, all of which were some of the best salsas I’ve ever had!

Mariscos El Tiburon – Menu with Prices – 2006 W 5th St, Santa Ana

Before Food Trucks were popular, El Tiburon was blazing a trail. This is the original Mariscos Truck in all of Orange County, California. They’ve been around at least 25 years. Santa Ana has the best seafood to offer. Correction: “Mariscos!” The seafood cocktail (shrimp, crab, & octopus) is the anchor food I was introduced to, and brings me back, year after year. It’s prepared perfectly but sometimes I add some ketchup – it’s my thing – and always add some Tapatio. Another staple, inexpensive, and powerhouse delicious Bomb S is the Ceviche Tostadas. The shrimp ones are good but if you like fish, you can’t beat the “Fish Ceviche Tostadas.” You’re Welcome. A seafood palette grows, explores, and can appreciate different flavors. You can’t go wrong with anything they serve. Like other post, El Jefe Tacos kill. A new addition to the menu – last few years – and my wife’s favorite. The fact is we really don’t order hot food at the this spot but when we do – its los El Jefe Taco’s. You’ve read this far, here is the payoff: Get the oysters. Add lime, a splash of tapatio, and a pinch of salt. I guess I’m a Yelp’r now.

Mi Lindo Ecuador Restaurant & Fish Market – Menu with Prices – 182 Bloomfield Ave, Newark

This restaurant is good for all ecuadorian seafood related dishes. Many dishes from the coast of Ecuador you can find here and what I like about this place is that they’re the ones that have the freshest seafood, since they have a busy seafood market and store next door, they always have the freshest for their dishes. No other ecuadorian restaurant makes the authentic shrimp ceviche like they do here. I love they dishes in this order: #1 Sopa de camarones (shrimp soup) #2 ceviche de camarones (shrimp ceviche) #3 pescado frito (fried fish) The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because the ambiance is not the best

El Dorado Authentic Mexican Food – Menu with Prices – 311 Palomar St, Chula Vista

El Dorado is one of my favorites out of the many excellent under-the-radar Chula Vista Mexican restaurants that need to be getting more love than they do. They serve a fantastic “Shrimp Taco” owing mainly to their sizable shrimp, sweet and clean, battered and deep-fried until crispy. Slaw and white sauce on top are on-point and applied in reasonable ratios, and the red sauce from the salsa bar is pure fire and must be added. The “Fish Taco” is the same thing, but with fish instead of shrimp. It’s a decent fish taco, but it doesn’t work as well as the shrimp does. What you must really get here, however, are the “Camarónes a la Diabla,” a dish consisting of taut prawns in a spicy, rich, and garlicky sauce of roasted tomatoes and chipotle peppers. In San Diego, I have never eaten a superior version of this coastal classic than what is served at El Dorado with rice, refried beans, and fresh avocado to take off some of the fiery bite. I want you to love this place, so I must manage expectations appropriately: El Dorado is a low-key and quiet “mom ‘n pop” restaurant in a small strip mall, probably more ideal for lunch than dinner. Food/Décor/Service: 4.5/2.9/NA #SummerOfTastyTacos – Taco Tracker: https://bit.ly/2IHTmfY Taco Score: Shrimp Taco (92/100), Fish Taco (80/100) What to Order: Camarónes a la Diabla, Shrimp Taco

Mariscos Alex – Menu with Prices – 4269 Fairmount Ave, San Diego

I’ve tired seafood at numerous taco shops and 4-5 star restaurants but no where seems to beat the ceviche here! I come here at least a couple times out of the week on my lunch break. The prices are extremely reasonable, for the quality of the food. Honesty can’t be beat. If you’re on a time crunch call ahead to place a to-go order as the line can get pretty long. They only accept cash so make sure you have some cash on you before going. The staff is super sweet and makes sure to give you quality food every time. They usually will give you a free soup to sip on while you wait for your order. If you’re looking for quality fresh seafood and extremely reasonable pricing you must try Mariscos Alex. My go-to order is always shrimp ceviche with a fish taco. Or their massive fish burrito (its delicious).

Testy Culiacan – Menu with Prices – 1238 Crows Landing Rd, Modesto

On our way home from Bend, OR and I needed a fish taco. So, I turned to yelp to find a great one. Wow! We were quite impressed. I’ve eaten my share of fish tacos and this rates right up there with the best. Ok, it’s a taco truck, but it works for me. The fish was cooked perfectly, the slaw and sauces were delicious and it was freshly prepared. My husband got the shrimp quesadilla and it was equally as good. Lots of shrimp, delicious sauces and it was really big. We ate it all. If you like food trucks, better give it a try.

Los primos lonchera – Menu with Prices – 112 N Hesperian St, Santa Ana

Technically, “Los Primos” is a lunch truck that you’ll find happily nestled on the corner of First St and Hesperian St in Santa Ana. Right in front of the El Toro Market. If you’re in the mood for delicious seafood, specifically ceviche (say-vee-chay), you need to come by here. Unlike the glamor and glitz that surrounds the “gourmet food” trucks, this little mom and pop mobile restaurant is low key and absolutely delicious!!! I had some reservations about eating seafood from a lunch truck but the food is fresh and if you talk to the young couple running it, you find out that everything is prepared in the morning. Except of course for the seafood that needs to cook overnight. But all the yummy veggies that go into the ceviche are cut up on a daily basis. For $9 you get your ceviche (not sure what the size the container is), tostadas or saltines, limes and some really spicy red salsa. It easily feeds two people. I’m doing dying to go back and try the different variations of ceviche they have as well as shrimp cocktail. Yum! Happy eating!

The Seafood Company – Menu with Prices – 4775 E Kings Canyon Rd, Fresno

We found out about this place because they are on the news and we decided to drive from out of town to try. The food looked good and We like to try new places. The reviews on here are really really good. So maybe we were expecting some out of this world seafood. We got a little of everything We ordered shrimp tacos, they were out of the crab tostada so we got the ceviche tostada ,fried shrimp, fish and chips, a carne asada burrito and a burger with Fries ….I never had shrimp tacos quite like these. The shrimp was fried and chopped up into small tiny pieces on two tortillas it came with pico on the side and that’s it! Very plain in my opinion could have used some cabbage some sauce or salsa and a piece of lemon. The shrimp ceviche was ok. The burger was big and came with good fries my son ate it all. The fish has a good spicy taste but had some bones still In it. My mom ordered 1/2 pound of fried shrimp she had a choice from the small medium or large. She went with the medium, but the shrimp was pretty small came with veins but we didn’t care we still ate it lol. None of the seafood came out with lemon so maybe you have to ask for it. The carne asada burrito was ok. We all agreed the best thing we liked was that it was inexpensive. We left pretty happy about that! Overall we enjoyed a inexpensive meal. They also have a fish market counter and a very nice young lady attending the counter.

Mariscos El Capitan – Menu with Prices – 1106 S Bristol St, Santa Ana

Hi guys! So I took a chance and went to try some seafood. I am so glad I did this place is excellent the service is fast and the food was excellent. One thing that really surprised me was as we sat down they gave us a small cup of fish soup I’ve never been a fan of it but I thought I will give it a try my mind was blown so simple yet so delicious.I tried the governor taco which had shrimp and cheese then grilled for a crispy taco so good. The shrimp cocktail was a little spicy but still great and the fish taco was better than I could have imagined. It is kinda loud in here but for me totally worth it.
