We live a couple of blocks away and wished that this place was better. There are nights we’d love to just go out for a simple burger or pub food, but after our last few times coming here, we just have no desire to come back. We came here during their soft opening a couple years ago and thought the food was pretty good. There were details they needed to work on, but they weren’t officially open yet, so we knew we’d give them another chance. We had been back a few times after their official opening and decided that the best and most consistent thing on the menu was the burger and fries. Their beer menu wasn’t great. My husband was pretty sure that they brought out the wrong beer, and another time the beer lines seemed dirty. It’s been at least a year since we last stopped in. We went to sit at one of the few low tables (we have kids) and luckily noticed that the bench was broken before we sat down. We moved to a high top instead and told the waitress about the bench. She informed us it broke the night before, yet they were still going to let people sit there? Another group came in after us and did actually sit down on the broken bench. They were lucky no one got hurt. After that I think they moved the bench. It was weird. The food was not good that day, and we decided that we’ve given them enough chances and were done. Attention to detail would do this place some good. The door that has been boarded up for months is an eyesore and definitely doesn’t make me want to go back anytime soon. And maybe don’t block all the windows with video games and tv screens. It’s dark enough inside that blocking the natural light just doesn’t make sense.

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – 4973-A Clairemont Dr, San Diego

This used to be the subway i went to all the time growing up. I come every once in a while now. The past two times in a row coming here i now remember having the same employee both times. I think his name was “Kian” couldnt make out the nametag. But they were unwelcoming moments. I walk in and theres only one customer and its very slow. Shes almost done. As im walking he glances at me but doesn’t acknowledge me. No greeting or anything. Im standing and waiting for about 5 minutes until he finishes up with this customer. No issue. But when he finally comes to me he still doesnt say a word takes his time and then finally stops and looks at me. Again not a word. No apology or greeting. So i had to take the initiative and start the order. As hes doing it he does it so poorly like he doesnt want to be doing it. Hes half assing and throwing whatever he grabs in his hand on the sandwiches. I hardly get any words out of him other than “is that it?” When it came to paying he just told me my total and handed me my receipt . I usually dont care about how people act enough for me to complain like this but he held that vibe the whole way through. Whatever i guess â?

Burgerim Gourmet Burgers – Menu with Prices – 120 W CityLine Dr Suite 600, Richardson

Came for the grand opening and honestly was super disappointed. Waited in line for about like 45 min before opening really hungry and ready to get this free burger and buy some fries and etc. They had like 2 vendors come out and a DJ and had lots of balloons and what not. Finally after waiting in the heat they open the doors at 12:05pm and only let 10 ppl at a time. Me and my bf get inside and we get to “order” and by that I mean they had pre made burgers sitting out and we only got to choose from 2 options the grilled chicken or the regular burger. So now that I didnt get to try the burger I wanted to try ( assuming we could choose any burger since the advertising said free burger.. you would think it would be any of their burgers that you could choose from) we ordered a fries and grabbed our burger from the counter (who knows how long it’s been sitting in the back already made) We sit down the burger is pretty small and super sad. The veggies looked super non existant. I opened the burger and finally found it hiding. The burger was sooo dry and super chewy. Like some frozen patty that you get at your school cafeteria lunch. It was so bad I would not pay like 8 bucks for this. The fries finally came out after we finished our burger and we had to go up there to ask when our fries were done. They had it just sitting up there and no one delivering to our table.. The fries were so small.. and it was like potato chips? It was definitely better than the burgers but still so pricy for the amount of fries and size of it. Also what was really annoying was there was nothing on the table. At least have some napkins… you have to grab everything at a station which was annoying to do when theres a bunch of ppl in the store. Giving 2 stars cause they tried and gave free burgers but honestly this just made me realize why these burger IM have bad reviews and that the quality of these burgers is defin not worth the price. In and out is a million times better than this and cheaper go there instead.

Wax Wings Brewing Company – Menu with Prices – 3480 Gull Rd, Kalamazoo

8/16/19 Honestly, I am not going to lie, I have never heard of this place until we typed Breweries in Yelp and found this place and it was not that far from us. We decided to check it out. We tried 4 beers (half of the beer pours) and got food. We both got burger baskets. The four beers we tried were interesting but overall, they were good. The food had a select menu. Online I am pretty sure most of the reviews said they offered food, or they didn’t. I am not sure, but they had food and were making it outside under a tent. Maybe they don’t have a kitchen yet and working on it. Either way, it was good. Atmosphere: It was nice on the inside. I loved how spacious it was and lots of different types of seating. High types, bench, and big tables for large parties and booths. There are board games and card games for people to play. We played a couple of games. You would get a number when you ordered, and they would deliver the food to you. You pay at the counter, which is good and bad. Good because you don’t have to wait until the end and can pay as you order but bad because you are paying and tipping before the service, which is putting 100% trust in the business that you will get the best service and food ahead of time. As a person who worked in the food and beverage industry for a decade, I am fine with that, but I could see other people thinking that it was weird. Cost: About $2 to $4 per half of the beer pour. It’s half the price for a half pour. So not terribly price. Overall: I give this place 4 stars. I will be back to try more beers and food.

Universal Orlando Resort – Menu with Prices – 6000 Universal Blvd, Orlando

Universal has created one of the best family friendly attractions ever. A roller coaster/thrill ride that is not too scary and people like me who don’t like roller coaster can ride! I have been watching this be built now for over a year and the excitement of the opening weekend was fun. I have ridden it twice now so I feel I can give a decent review. NOTE— A Warning!— This attraction has had a lot of wonderful press and reviews from everyone I have spoken to but due to its popularity, the wait times for this attraction can be long! Plus, the ride has a tendency to break down… and close down for weather. Opening day waits were 10 hours! The wait times now have come down to around 2 to 3 hours for this attraction and thats if it does not break down or go down for weather. With that warning being said, aside from the long wait times, this attraction is a must do for any Harry Potter fan! So unfortunately, some on here have given this ride one star because they had to wait and/or never got on the ride. It happens… its a ride in a theme park… things break and they have no control over the weather… so Universal is not responsible for your decision to wait for a ride that you might not get on to. Every theme park works this way… read the back of your tickets. Anyway… due to the long wait times, I decided to wait a few weeks after opening before even trying to ride. That should have given them some ‘shake down’ time to get the bugs worked out. Like Gringotts and Forbidden Journy that both had long wait times and breakdowns, this is no different for being a new attraction so expect to wait anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours to ride. I don’t normally wait more than 1 hour for anything but I will wait longer for this. The que line for Hagrid starts out in Hogsmead where the old Dueling Dragons entrance used to be. The path winds back and forth and finally leads to a Potter themed building with AC! Once inside, there are many small and large rooms themed to a workshops/classrooms for Hargrid. You are a ‘student’ and Hagrid is going to take you on a trip though the forbidden forest to see some Magical creatures. He gets the help of Mr Wesley to repair and duplicate his motor bike so he can take groups of you together into the forest. The que line goes thru the story and explains all this to you through film and sound. The que is beautiful and the detail work is amazing. When you finally get to the last room, they will ask how many in your party. If you are an even amount of people, cool… they will get you on the bikes side by side. Pairs of riders. But if your group has an odd number of riders, they will add someone from the ‘single rider’ line to make your group an even number. Again, riding in pairs… one on the motorbike and one in the sidecar. The ride is fast and has three launches… it goes backwards for a bit… and has a fun drop… I just won’t say where! I don’t want to spoil all the fun. The story continues during the ride with the help of special effects and animatronics. I have ridden in both the bike and the side car. The bike side gives you the feel of actually driving a bike… the side car is a bit lower and you do have the feel of going along for the ride. Again… we know the lines are long… we know the ride goes down for weather… we know the ride continues to break… these are all things we know already. If you go in with an open mind and have fun with it, it is totally worth the wait. As of the middle of July, Universal is opening the ride around 9 am when the park opens so getting to be one of the first people in the park helps. When I last did that, it took me a total of 2.5 hours to finally ride it… but that is with an hour of down time due to maintenance. It would have been only about 1.5 hours if it had not broken down. They are also cutting the line around 5 pm. That way, the amount of people they have on the line at 5 is about 2 to 3 hours. Everyone

Rusty Putter Lounge – Menu with Prices – 891 DeMarco Dr, Henderson

I really hate to leave a negative review for a local business because I really think they deserve success. But dang, this place is run so poorly! We went there to see a local band. We tried to sit in a booth then this guy kept getting up and blocking our view, then we realized it was the bands soundman. Ok fine, we will move. I saw a couple get from a table so we will sit there once the table is cleaned. 10 mins goes by, no one cleans it. We sat at the bar and waited until it was cleaned. Someone finally cleared the dirty dishes but didn’t clean it. We were clearly waiting for the table when some people walked in and also wanted the table. I politely told them we were waiting for the table. Then this woman who I understand is one of the owners says “Did you put a reservation on the table” I told her no, we were waiting for someone to wipe it clean. In the mean time, there were two tables pushed together to make an 8 top with two people sitting on it. They could have broken it apart and sat the four people who were uncomfortably sitting at the bar. The people had enough and left. That couple hogged that table of 8 the entire time we were there. The owners didn’t do a thing, that was just poor business. We ordered drinks and they came out at a normal time. We decided to get nachos. While we were waiting, the place started to warm up. It had to be at least 80 degrees in there. 30 minutes went by (no exaggerating) and no nachos. After 20 minutes, the server comes by and tells us it’s on the way. The nachos never showed up. Now we have had enough so I went to the bar to settle the bill. The server comes out and says she can make them to go. No thanks, we ordered them so we could eat them there. Not that it’s their fault, but the band’s sound was terrible, the band’s speakers were way to big for the venue. It was just too loud. Then sound feedback kept happening. I really hope they get their act together. It seems like some people who never owned a bar decided to buy a bar and have no idea how to run one.

Lula’s Neighborhood Grill – Menu with Prices – 4821 Yosemite Blvd, Modesto

This place was great the first time and terrible the second. Lying owners. I order a burger combo and a western bacon burger with shoe string onion rings. I was rung up for my order as if everything was ok. I watched the cook, cook our burgers and smash them so many times to speed up the cooking process which relieves the juice from the party leaving a burger that is dry and no juice. I got home to beer battered onions instead of shoe string, I called back and let the lady know I order shoe string and got regular. She then informed me “oh yea, cause we ran out” so I was never informed you ran out at the register and proceeded to take my money. After I called and opened my western burger and guess what. THERE SHOE STRING ONION RINGS IN MY BURGER. So they didn’t run out. I usually don’t mind for accidents like this if the people own up to their mistakes but, The one thing I hate about restaurants is when they lie. It makes them look stupider. Threw my food away due to nasty dry burger. Thanks for nothing

Quick Time Espresso – Menu with Prices – 1515 112th St SE, Everett

I love that their coffee doesnt taste burnt like other places. Plus when they make my white chocolate americano, they completely stir everything. I notice a lot of coffee shops just throw the stuff in there and make u mix it. It doesnt matter who is working; the coffee is always consistently the same and made correct. Its just a bonus they are all kind and efficient!

19th At Battle Creek Clubhouse – Menu with Prices – 5765 Commercial St SE, Salem

I just read a review that said they never had worse service, I came here to write a review saying I have never had better service. We just moved into town and decided to try something new. We went here and had a couple brews, spud sampler, bunker burger, and the chicken ceaser salad. I ordered drinks at the bar when I first got there and he said he would bring them to me. We had the best service ever the bartender came to our table frequently to check on us and he was attentive. When we were almost done he came and took empty plates whenever they were done. I am very happy with my experience and the fries were top notch and the bunker burger was much better than five guys, Nancy s or Shari’s. I am definitely going back to try the wings.

Fatburger & Buffalo’s Express – Menu with Prices – 2795 Cabot Dr Suite 6-102, Corona

I’m giving 5 stars to the manger 0 stars to the employee who was supposedly the crew leader . Noah was extremely unprofessional. We had an order of a 1/3 pound combo with Swiss cheese and onion rings inside the burger . We requested the burger to be cut in 1/2 .. while our order was delivered we noticed that there was neither cheese nor onion rings on the burger . We let them know . They took the burger back . 4 mins later Noah brought the burger back wearing gloves in his hand opening the burger showing us that there were onion rings on it and we didn’t see it .. as he was opening the burger like he was flipping pages of a book . I said enough … we requested the burger to be cut in half and if they were any onions rings on it they supposed to be cut not still round . His answer was I will check the cameras and I let you know … I asked for the Manager’s name and I called next day .. he apologized and he did his best to offer a welcome back .. I appreciated his act but simply I will never go back .. cause a company that have a policy of going through customers food when mistake happened and are not willing to remake the Customers food so that they can save in their cost .. that’s extremely inhuman … Again the reason why I am giving 3 stars cause the manager Ein did his best and he took the responsibility for his crew leader act … and that was a good example of leadership … again treat customers the same way you want to be treated . Customers spend time , money and energy to open your restaurant door …

Chevy Chase Country Club – Menu with Prices – 3067 E Chevy Chase Dr, Glendale

What a surprise this was! A very nice little bar area, nice people working. And a truly impressive food and drink menu to boot. The house burger was very impressive and delicious, as were my boys’ BLT sandwiches. The buffalo fries were a bit meh, mostly because it was an uninspired squirt of sauce and a sprinkle of blue cheese over very mediocre fries. Some great choices on the beer tap and a nice selection of drinks over all, and our cocktail was very well made. All accompanied with the gorgeous view of the golf course. So one big strike is the smoking issue. Its a private club, so surely that’s why the golfers, and apparently just guys sitting around, can enjoy their cigars at their leisure, despite it being a restaurant, open to the public. It was annoying and we moved inside. Really too bad because it was so wonderful outside. But, again, its probably the private club aspect of the place, so not holding this against them. The prices are higher that you might like but some things were worth it. The burger was worth $18. It was. Not any more, but I’d order that again. If the buffalo fries had not come with the burger, they would have been $6, I believe. It might sound odd, but they were not even worth that. BUT… the positives do outweigh the negative. We’ll be back for sure.

Taqueria el Torito – Menu with Prices – 2515 Freeman Mill Rd suite b, Greensboro

If this was asked of me before i stopped comming here they may have gotten 5 stars. I will no longer come in this place. Me and my family used to go here january to May we ate 3 times a day (everyother day) $35+ a visit. I thinks its the owners daughter or sister they look just alike.. I tell them everytime i go in there she doesnt listen shes too busy speaking spanish talking junk she isnt listening. I get the same thing all the time im in there all the time well i used to be and she still say she doesnt remeber and if she does she messes the order up anyways like my smoothie. Its not that hard to be quiet stop talking junk and make the food. But shes rude. I told her the last time i was in there my family will never be there again if shes still there. I havent went back since and this was almost 2 month ago. Ik our business was just somemore money but ive told everyone ik because that girl is just so rude. Hire people who understand both languages and if they speak spanish make sure there not talking about customers while the customer is inside the store. They’ve lost my business completly.

559 Street Tacos – Menu with Prices – 780 E Nees Ave, Fresno

So let’s start off by mentioning the hype for this mobile eatery. Good reviews, posts of items are very enticing and could not wait to try. So the visit was accessible but if your head is not on a swivel, the location can easily be passed up! Ordering was confusing , you have a mix of people standing around waiting for their order mixed in and around the line too order. If the line is short then you will be able to see which line is which, now ordering you will need to request for the “broth to dip your tacos in” at time of ordering it does not come with any order of the tacos ( at least during my visit) . Menu is minimal and easy, meats are a variety , now once you order I recommend asking for your to go containers for the salsas and for the fixings. ( trust me it will kill the time waiting to get once you get your order). Now once you get your order number hang around to hear your order, a lot of people wandering around back to their car or taking off for a walk, it holds up the pick up process. Second, be sure your able to get your salsas ahead of time because everyone congregates around the extremely small area to pick up your order ,because everyone else who just got their order is blocking the pick up line ( the condiment area needs to be moved away from the pick up line or nominate an employee to man the pick up order line to lessen the congestion of people standing around blocking, talking , socializing and restricting those to grab their orders when called. Now the taste of tacos delicious , but the ease of grabbing your condiments and available salsas is very frustrating once you have picked up your tacos, etc. if I had to give a direct useful and actually implement recommendation , relocate the condiment area away from the pick up order window area or have an employee/ associate handing out the orders and direct customers away from the pick up window.
