I had a few drinks here one Tuesday, and the service and prices were excellent. The patrons were mostly decent folks, but after I left a friend of mine had to answer a few awkward questions about why she was hanging out with someone dressed the way I was dressed. Let me answer for her: Buddy, I came straight from work, and I leave my nice shoes there so they don’t get road salt on them. Is it weird for a guy to get a beer wearing a suit and muck boots? Is it? It is not.

Reflections Cabaret – Menu with Prices – 5187 Salter St, Halifax

Well, I went back , this time to their new location. Much cleaner, doesn’t stink, staff is super friendly and the size of the place is smaller, which is probably better. It was alot of fun, the music was good and we danced the night away. It was also alot of fun watching the tall guy in the suit accompanied by a guy dressed like he was going to play basketball come in , head to the washroom and almost pick a fight with the young skinny guy with the red baseball cap because he looked at him wrong. Then, later on, two bikers wearing “Gate Keeper” jackets (affiliated with the Hell’s Angels) came in (bikers love gay bars for some reason! ) and the skinny guy with the red cap greeted them warmly. Then, the tall guy in the suit with his buddy in sports clothing came back in. I don’t think that they are buddies with the Gate Keepers. Alot of fun to watch. (I wonder what’s going on??? ? ) Overall , a great night, much better than the last time I went to the old Reflections.

Twin Peaks Glendale – Menu with Prices – 6922 N 95th Ave, Glendale

Today, I went back to try their Naked Wings with Traditional Sauce and a beer of my waitress’s choice. I also had a bit of a shock when I walked in. Instead of the traditional Lumberjack outfit, all the gals were wearing tennis shoes, shorts (cut off jeans) and a variety of skimpy tops (halter, sport and bikini/bra). Ashley, my waitress, was very nice. And, we actually talked a bit about off restaurant topics. Not only did she come up to my table wearing… a smile ? , she checked in 2x. Plus, I flagged her down twice, she didn’t hesitate to come and see what I wanted. She chose the Man Drop Dead Red beer for me. And, while it had more of a bite than I’m used to, being ice cold, it went well with the wings, and celery sticks. Now, between the Breaded Wings, and the Naked Wings, I’d have to say that the Breaded Wings are better. But, only by a 1/2 Star. Since I’ve only eaten here 2x, I still got a way to go. But so far, the staff has been very pleasant, the beer VERY COLD ? and the food very good. So, yeah. I’ll be back for sure. But, to be honest, I don’t see the rationale for parents bringing their kids (especially the little ones) to any sports bar. Let alone one like this.

Hide A While Lounge – Menu with Prices – 9469 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga

What i need to say about this Bar is that at a random decision was made last night to ask me and my friends to leave . so the weekend before we where hanging out with no problem. So the reason why we where asked to leave is because we are bikers that are in the upper age of 50 and we where told up we couldn’t be in there because we had a vest on . and too top that off i dont drink alcohol and one other member is sober also . we stick too ourselves my friends where there long before i got there and they yes they do drink . they spent there money and they where having a good time .and just so you know . bikers dont look for trubble . 9 times out of 10 its a regular civilian that causes trouble we avoid it . this is a clear sign of discrimination based on how you look . if I walked in there with plain clothes would that change who i am i am a biker and i love my life this is discrimination at its best this is not a kool bar dont get kicked out because your wearing the wrong team color

O’Brien’s Bistro – Menu with Prices – 4350 Bayou Blvd, Pensacola

The outward appearance of this restaurant does not accuratly reflect whats inside. I thought this was a regular run of the mill place to get a quick bite after a long flight, but I was totally wrong. This is a fine dining establishment in every way shape and form. I was wearing shorts and a tshirt and felt under dressed. I sat outside since it was such a nice day out. My waitress brought out some water and some biscuits and butter. These.biscuits. I dont know What blend of herbs and spices they put into these things, but these biscuits! They are an experience in themselves, make sure to ask for them when you go. Aside from the biscuits, I had a salad which, you know, a salad is a salad. Dont get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with it, but at the end of the day a salad is still a salad. With such a wide array of options across the three menus (brunch, lunch, dinner) there is something for everyone, so stop by and checknit for yourself.

Lock 15 Brewing Company Menu with Prices 21 West North Street Suite TL 1, Akron

I was here once before and was impressed, but forgot to write a review. Stopped in with a buddy to check it out, and have to say I was impressed yet again! They have roughly 15 beers on tap, including a guest tap. I sampled quite a few beers with a flight, as well as tasted other people’s on my first visit, so wanted to try something different. I went with the Old Brick Black & Blue. Pretty decent beer, lots of blueberry flavor in a nice, light Hefeweizen. Solid for sure. I remember really liking the Pale Ale and the NEIPA on my earlier visit. We sat at a high top in the bar area. I did not have dinner before we came, so I ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, which came with house made pub chips. The chips were decent, large and crisp, but could have used a touch more salt, or maybe a sauce or something to dip it in, but all in all, not bad, and at least they make them fresh in house. The chicken sandwich was pretty good! It’s battered and fried, served on a large spongy bun, topped with what appeared to be house made pickle chips and a Gorgonzola sauce. I couldn’t tell if the “heat” was in the batter, or they lightly dipped it in a sauce when it came out of the frier, but either way, the breading was crispy and had a nice low heat to it. The Gorgonzola sauce really mellowed it out, so I personally could have used a bit more kick, but I’m a hot head, so it’s probably perfect for most people. Service was decent for a crowded restaurant. Seems like a lot of people stop in, either to grab a drink on the way home, or for dinner. It’s surprisingly large though, and they can seat a lot of people. I didn’t really get a good view of the patio, but it looks large, and quite a few people were hanging out there too. I also noticed they seemed to have other drinks for people that don’t want beer. I didn’t look closely at the drink list but noticed several people with cocktails, and we were told they had wine too, so something for just about everyone. Cool little place tucked away off the road. Would definitely recommend checking it out!

Wild Greg?s Saloon – Menu with Prices – 4951 US-98, Lakeland

Very fun line dancing bar that replaced boots n buckles. The place is huge but doesn’t get super busy. Mainly townies and college students go here but everyone is pretty friendly. It’s fun to learn the line dance moves and someone is almost always willing to teach. There are two sides of the building, one side is line dancing the other side is a smaller area where they play hip-hop and rap. They have special events like bands and stuff on different nights. Their fb page had the info. The bartenders are super nice and they have tones of special during the week on drinks. The actually have ladies who sit in the bathroom and sell things like perfume, tampons/pads and even candy which is pretty cool and classy. They also have a bull that’s $5 to see how long you can ride (pretty popular) Very casually place though. You could go and sit and have a drink. It’s 18 and up but don’t worry about being hassled by the young ones, it’s the older townies you gotta look out for lol. Come dressed somewhat down! And if you’ve got boots, definitely bring em!

Bottled Blonde – Scottsdale – Menu with Prices – 7340 E Indian Plaza #100, Scottsdale

Such a horrible experience! : ( I’m from Tucson and was in phx for the day. After enjoying a nice day around 11:30 pm we were searching for a fun place to go out on a Monday, because my boyfriend’s bday was going to come at midnight. After searching for an hour for places to go, we finally came across bottled blonde. I was excited because I had old friends that worked there and heard good things. So we park and walk in anticipation towards the music. We look good, I have a little black dress on and my boyfriend has a white button up. (It’s a Monday!) When we finally walk up into the establishment, the security says he can’t let us in because my boyfriend is wearing “Jordan’s”. So we go back to his car and we have no backup shoes, it’s too late to go shopping at this point (for new shoes) so we look and fail to find another place that’s open and with a small crowd. At this point it’s midnight and my boyfriend (in disappointment) decides to just go home. : ( so in a final attempt to go back to bottled blonde, I call and ask to speak to a manager. We got him on the phone and explained the situation, it’s his birthday and we are from out of town and plan on spending money. He then tells me if we buy a bottle he will let us in. I ask how much a bottle is and he says $325. Um well we were planning on spending a lot but we weren’t planning on getting waisted drinking a bottle just him and I, so I tell him we don’t plan on getting a bottle and he just tells us to have a good night. Well we definitely had both our nights ruined and I will be telling everyone about this horrible experience. Seriously it was his birthday, we were dressed nicely, planned on spending money and it was a MONDAY- a night where that money counts. So sad. If I could give zero stars, then I would.

M M Shoe Bar – Menu with Prices – 2106 Airport Blvd, Mobile

If these guys can’t repair your shoe, it can’t be fixed! They are super nice, helpful, and affordable too. They also have a huge selection of work and cowboy boots.

Campus No. 805 – Menu with Prices – 2620 Clinton Ave W, Huntsville

The primary reason I love Campus 805 is my hair stylist is there – that would be Mason Caldwell at Fringe Salon, which is on the east end of C-805. I like that I can get a Cali roll at Rock and Roll sushi pre-salon/post-salon visit, or R&R will deliver to Fringe. Of the places on Campus, I’ve eaten at Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza, Ale’s Kitchen, R&R Sushi, and I’ve been to Yellowhammer, Straight to Ale, and Lone goose. I do like Lone Goose’s dog friendly patio, but it lacks the charm of its former location, IMHO. Vapesouth is now “the Bar” which is really cozy, with a nice patio, and some decent wine selections. it’s an “Entertainment District” so you can walk around with your purple cups and enjoy an adult beverage with city council approved extended hours, now! If I drank craft beer, or any beer, this would be a cool place, for wine drinkers, it’s challenging. The only locations that serve wine are: Lone Goose, The Bar, and Rock and Roll Sushi. Also, pizza, bar fare, and sushi are the only dining options, unless Bubba’s catering offers eats. And, C 805 has been here a few years now – it would be nice to host some food truck rallies or have additional dining options. If craft beer is your jam, you will enjoy Campus 805. And make sure to bring closed toe shoes if you plan to Ax throw.

Southern Classic Fried Chicken – Menu with Prices – 3651 Hollywood Ave, Shreveport

Well first off i love Southern Classic chicken i been going to this place since the hollywood location opened here lately i been going to the North Market location they are friendly at this location but here lately they have been putting so much salt on the fries you cant hardly eat/enjoy them so i decided i wanted to start getting fries with lite salt so went to north market location today 8/31 orderd my food and fries with lite salt and a pepper get home with my order no pepper and fries full of salt so i called the manager about the heavy salt she was so UNPROFESSIONAL i shared with her about the heavy salt and that i ordered lite salt on my fries and i got heavy salt plus i didnt get my pepper first she has me on speaker phone telling me that the girl can hear me while im talking about the pepper the manager also tell me that everyone in the world wants extra salt on their fries and that me and her might be the only 2 that like lite salt she also said that they cant controll how the seasoning come out the salt shaker because of the big holes and they dont even have a lite salt button so i might need to orfer my fries without salt because its no way i can get lite salt on my fries but to me why order a fry with out seasoning and the seasonings is wht make the fries good they just need to put the proper amount without over doing things but i wont go bk

CEDAR ROOM Fine Cigars & Lounge – Menu with Prices – 20715 N Pima Rd Suite F-100, Scottsdale

Came in 7/27/2019 with a Buddy to the check the place out, it was very nice, other patrons spoke to us, no weird stares, the needle didn’t skip cause two black men walked in, Lol!! The vibe is nice and not for riff raff, this is a place to indulge in some good smoke. Service was attentive and genuine. I am newbie to the cigar world and my buddy was newer than me. John the Head Cigar in Charge took us back to the humidor room and helped us pick out 2 good tasting cigars and paired it with a wine just as sweet as the cigars we puffed on. John knows his sh*t, don’t let your ego get in the way, ask questions and enlighten you he will (In my Yoda voice) about all things cigar and wine related. Would give it 6 stars if they had a lite menu, but no big deal. Get over there. Do It Now!…. Move!!!

Reich’s Club – Menu with Prices – 3405 Strong Ave, Kansas City

Classic Mom and pop bar, mainly an older crowd there. But they do try make it a good time. They have pool night, Karaoke night every Friday. Also, the perks to mom and pop bars is they they are always calm and chillaxin’. Plus, they usually have cheaper prices than other bars. This is a good place to stop by after work for a nice refreshing beer. They have gambling machines bartenders that call you “sweetie” and older gentlemen that will guide you straight to the ladies room if necessary. Also, LOL, the bar itself has an old mom and pop look to it and smell to it. LOL. The walls are carpeted, so a distinct old-time scent is present in the air. It has private parking and as you walk in the front door you are greeted by a long cream-lit hallway and at the end of the hallway, a large door. The walk up to the door is quiet (You can hear your shoes on the floor) but once that door opens is like entering a different world. Good times.
