Came here with a group of 5 for a quick happy hour, after work. This location is relatively close to the main parking structure which was great for our group to meet up. We came in at around 5:30 and there was plenty of seating and not very busy for a Thursday. The waitress sat us down quickly and set our table up while the rest of our group arrived. Since it was around dinner time, we were all very hungry and decided to order the wings, pork sliders, pulled pork nachos, and the brew-b-q pizza to share. Each order of wings come with 6, and since they were relatively small, we decided to order 3 of the happy hour wings. Even though we only ordered 3 they were very considerate to spread the wings out into 4 separate plates which made sharing a lot easier. The wings were well cooked and glazed in a good amount of sauce. The ranch dipping sauce was extremely thin and watery and did not taste like ranch at-all. I would highly recommend opting for the blue cheese dressing instead. As for the pork sliders, it came with an order of three and although I did not actually try them everyone said they were very tasty and very filling. Let me start by saying I am a nacho enthusiast, and I love a good stack of nachos with all the fixings. The nachos did have a good amount of fixings on top of them, nacho cheese, sour cream, pickled jalapenos, the pulled pork, and cotija cheese, but I felt as if all they were very sauce heavy and lacked a good crunch to the chips. Regardless, for the price they were decent. Again, I did not get to try the brew-b-q pizza but by the looks of it, it looked more like a small flatbread pizza. We were shocked since the waitress described the pizza as being “pretty big”. However, the rest of the group did say the pizza was decent. To drink we all ordered the happy hour beer and shot combo. I like that they let me switch out the bourbon for tequila since I am not a big fan of bourbon. On an empty stomach, this was all I needed to feel the alcohol quickly. The beer itself was tasty, the type of beer you should not sip and instead just chug to get the full taste. Overall, for a happy hour, I felt the food and drinks were decently priced and would recommend starting off a night.

I’m wanting to write more about FG after having visited more specifically to grab some food. We are mug club members, so we obviously love the beer. We have started a habit of stopping in on the weekends to do lunch and split a pizza and a small (6) order of wings. Let this be the message: the menu is small but that is because the food is done very well. The smaller sized pizzas are baked to perfection in the outdoor pizza oven. Our current favorite is the Porky Pie – a perfect combination of pulled pork (made at the Decatur location), BBQ sauce & goat cheese. Just a fantastic flavor combination. We also typically add 6 wings to our order and really favor the Spicy Stampede sauce – perfect amount of heat with a great kick of flavor. We’re a couple who enjoys buffalo wings, and we really love what they’re offering here. Wings are smoked at the Decatur location and finished in the outdoor pizza oven right before serving. Can’t stop saying great things about this food. It’s done right for a limited menu.

Dodas Pizza – Menu with Prices – 7260 W Bell Rd Suite 2, Glendale

Monday night, two wild children in tow, my wife and I entered Doda’s around 7pm. We were immediately greeted by a young gentleman with glasses behind the counter, who offered us a menu, and asked if he could help us. Already, impressed, he suggested the large cheese pizza and wings, while we added some jalapeño poppers and cheese sticks to hold ourselves and the children off. A 5 star rating doesn’t quite do the food and service justice. Jalapeño poppers were delicious, just the right amount of breading to jalapeño to cream cheese ratio. Cheese sticks came with ranch, and were a bit with the kids. We added pepperoni to our cheese pizza, and ordered honey medium wings. Wings were delicious, with lots of extra sauce, and extra ranch. The pizza was greasy and delicious, with more than enough cheese to satisfy any pizza lover’s palate. For dessert we ordered two cannolis, one covered in Carmel and one in chocolate and strawberry, amazing. They put a perfect amount of filling, and toppings. Just wanted to make sure the hard work of those employees is noticed. Only thing that was kinda off putting was an older gentleman, I assume he owned the place. His stare, while friendly, just seemed to constantly watch you. â? Not enough to scare me away from the delicious food.

Denver Pizza Company – Menu with Prices – 908 Jersey St, Denver

I decided to try their $10 discount coupon that came in the mail for dinner tonight and ordered one of their specialty pizzas with artichoke hearts and 6 pieces of wings. In my online order, I replaced mozzarella with fresh mozzarella for the pizza and requested the buffalo sauce to be on the side for the wings. The coupon worked once I fulfilled the minimum order amount ($30) and delivery was prompt. With tax, delivery fee, and tips, the total cost went over $30 even after the discount. Still, I thought everything was going well until this point… When I opened the boxes a bit later to serve dinner to my family, I realized there was NO cheese of any kind at all on the pizza and the wings were drenched in buffalo sauce. Without any cheese, the pizza was brittle and flavorless, and the saucy wings were too spicy for my toddler. So I called again and they sent me another pizza with cheese on top this time but no wings. Instead of giving me a new set of wings without sauce, they gave me a cup of even more buffalo sauce, of which I don’t understand the purpose. I didn’t order an extra cup of sauce–I just wanted plain wings and the sauce on the side so that I could share them with my toddler… In terms of flavors, however, the wings actually tasted better than the pizza. The thin crust of the pizza was way too dry like biscuits with no gummy chewiness. The toppings and Alfredo sauce were okay but not memorable either. Overall, it was too much hassle and not enough satisfaction for a $30 meal. I think I’ll just go back to my usual favorite pizzerias in town.

Flying Pizza – Menu with Prices – 801 Sargent Ave, Winnipeg

Now, I want to preface this by saying that I don’t like sauce. I eat my spaghetti without sauce, I don’t dip chicken wings in sauce, and I’m not a fan of pizza sauce either. So when a friend recommended this place to me, saying that he thought I’d like it because they focused on cheese rather than sauce, I was excited. The prices are incredible, they have a walk-in special that’ll net you an XL pizza (16 inches) for less than $8.00! It’s not like the food is bad either, it’s fantastic! The wings are nothing less than scrumptious, and the pizza has just the right amount of grease. If you want pizza, come here. You won’t be disappointed.

Wing Shack Fort Collins – Menu with Prices – 1011 S Lemay Ave, Fort Collins

Not one time I have ordered from here have they ever gotten my order right. I have ordered over the phone for pick up or online for pick up for me and a group or just myself and there is always something wrong with my order. I ordered boneless, I got bone in. I ordered extra ranch which was not included but I was still charged for it. They forgot my fries twice so one of my meals got comped. They charge you to split your sauces if you want more than one which I wanted four, got charged for four but ended up with three different ones. If they are even the slightest bit busy don’t count on your order being what you wanted. I used to be happy with these guys because they have lots of sauce choices and their waffle fries are delicious but I’m pretty unhappy with basically never getting what I order. The last wings we got I had ordered the golden hot sauce, it looked more like wings that were covered in garlic oil. They are mediocre, good enough for quick wings, but I’m not too happy with their staff getting everything wrong all the time.

Viking Pizza and Kabob – Menu with Prices – 3740 San Fernando Rd #2919, Glendale

The pizza and the hot wings here are different… in a good way! This place has made it on my “come back” list. Came here on a whim with my parents and we were craving some sort of Armenian or Mediterranean style “pizza”. Since Sipan was closed, we found this place and decided to give their Viking pizza a try. There was only one guy prepping food and taking orders and he was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We ordered the Viking pizza and the Viking hot wings but asked for the wings to be mild. The wings were smothered in this really tasty garlicky sauce. Yum! Although they were supposed to be mild, I didn’t think there was a hint of spicy in those wings. They were delicious though. The pizza was really good! It’s not greasy like most pizzas and had a very healthy taste to it because of all the fresh ingredients on it (although I totally don’t mind greasy pizza lol). The pizza was thin crust, which I am a fan of. They top of the pizza with a drizzle of sauce which taste like the sauce the wings were smothered in. We came in on a slow night, about an hour before closing so it wasn’t busy. Not sure how it is during the day or dinner time. Keep in mind seating is limited for it’s a small little place. Worth it to check out !

Totally 80’s Pizza & Museum – Menu with Prices – 1717 S College Ave, Fort Collins

(After posting this review, they did reach out to me about sending me another pizza to make up for the last experience, but sadly I do not live in the area, so I couldn’t take them up on that. I do appreciate the follow-up!!) Totally Bummed. Only experience with this place was a delivery on a Thursday evening. Our order was placed and received at 6:25pm, and we didn’t receive our order until 7:50pm. The delivery estimation said 50-70 minutes, this took 85 minutes, and it’s just a weekday. It was also just one 1 pizza and 3 garlic twists…not a huge order. Another miss was getting marinara instead of the ranch that we ordered on the side, and there was no sauce on the pizza itself. We ordered a regular pizza expecting there to be the usual tomato sauce, but there was none, just cheese and toppings on bread. The last disappointment would be the minimal toppings, from the picture on the menu they have on yelp it looked like a generous amount of toppings, which was not reality, so that was a bummer. The positives – the pizza was still decent, and the garlic bread twists were alright.

Isabella’s Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 8623 E Thompson Peak Pkwy, Scottsdale

This might be my favorite restaurant in Scottsdale. every thing about this place, the food, the drinks, the beautiful outside eating area, and the beautiful golf course view, makes this place a go-to for any family. We ate on the inside, though, but it was a nicely decorated table. Our waitress Jen was SO nice to us, and even told us where to go see fireworks as it was our first 4th of July in Arizona. The wings were melt-in your mouth good, had the perfect amount of crunchiness and spice, and were served with some of the best buttermilk sauce I had ever tried. Our entrees came fast. The pepperoni pizza had the best crust I had ever tasted- and there was just-enough cheese to go with the tangy, tasty tomato sauce. The pepperonis were good. And don’t forget to save the dipping sauce for your pizza crust- mmmm . The bbq pulled pork sandwich my dad got was decent, not the best but pretty good for a place that specializes in Italian. Overall this place had good food, good atmosphere And Jen needs a freaking raise she is so good!

Fn Function Bar – Menu with Prices – 2291 Yonge St, Toronto

I wasn’t expecting much considering the grimy place this location used to be. They cleaned it up so nice. It looks incredible in there. My partner liked their beer menu and I was happy they had a couple cans of cider and their cocktail menu didn’t appeal to me. The food menu did make me a bit nervous, there’s a lot of heavy meats and foods. We ordered a couple tacos which were alright but I wouldn’t order again as the shells were chewy and just all wrong. The fillings in my taco were so plain it just wasn’t good. The only other thing we ordered was the pulled pork nachos, it was so meat and sauce heavy that at first I was disappointed. But the flavours were delicious. The flavour combinations are so strange and I was very confused as to why it tasted so good. The pork was smoked really nicely and was covered in a delicious bbq sauce. The other sauce that on there in a Mac a cheese sauce, I think Mac and cheese powder mixed with sour cream. There is also fresh dill sprinkled across the top of the nachos and a dill and sour creak dip on the side. There was a lot going on flavour wise and it all went together so well. Because of this one nacho dish we will be back to try some more of the food. The server also brought over the smoked watermelon which was smoked so much it made me wheeze and left my tongue feeling strange. I think the chef is likely a smoker and can’t taste it as well as we could. I was disappointed with how much it’s smoked because I can see that it would be delicious if done properly. I’d say it’s smoked 3/4 longer than it needs to be. I felt like a wheezing bag of smoke after eating it. I forgot we ordered the creme brûlée which was apple jacks flavour. They rotate the cereal flavour. It was alright. I don’t think I’d order the creme brûlée again because it was to runny. I can’t wait to try their cereal flavoured gelato. I also can’t forget to mention on of the most important things was that the service was fantastic. Some of he best service we had in the neighbourhood. This is probably the main reason I gave them 4 stars along with those creative nachos.

Brushfire Tacos y Tapas – Menu with Prices – 14240 N 43rd Ave, Glendale

I was super excited when I saw this place had opened up. But then I tried to find it and was thrown off because all I could see was the church that was surrounding it. I finally pulled into the parking lot and saw that it was at the center of the church campus. Walking in and seeing the slightly hipster vibe going I knew that it wouldn’t disappoint. The people greeted me as I walked in which is always nice, plus since it was around 1 it wasn’t crowded so that was nice. I ended up order the steak nachos to go and I am glad I did! Some places always skimp on the steak when you order nachos and usually give you more salsa, guac, beans and cheese which I am not mad at but when they don’t shave enough meat thrown in there it bums me out. This place a great amount of all the fixings. Plenty of steak to go around and plenty of chips to eat it all. My only gripe was the to go bad felt a little to small for all the food so I had to dig a little to get to my chips but other then that it was great. Highly suggest and recommend to those looking for a good lunch or dinner. I know I will for sure be back.

The Warehouse Bar & Pizzeria Chicago – Menu with Prices – 1419 W Fullerton Ave, Chicago

I came here for the Purdue/OSU game over the weekend with some friends. It was the first time I’ve been here, but I have heard good things and it’s an official Purdue Bar. The atmosphere is definitely a sports bar with a good amount of TVs. There’s a big bar on the side and tables throughout the place. It’s not overly big, but I would estimate it seating about 60 people. Warehouse has some very good drink specials for Purdue games. I would even go as far as saying they have the best drink specials of the 6 Purdue bars in Chicago. They had a decent amount of whiskey, which was priced slightly above average probably due to it being in Lincoln Park. The menu is pretty massive. They have a ton of different pies and they have everything from pizza, burgers, pasta, salads, and wings. I ended up ordering the Breakfast pizza and a side of Mac n Cheese. The pizza was decent and it is thin crust. I thought the crust was a little burnt, which made the pizza a little dry. But the toppings were pretty good and it was very crispy. The eggs were very fluffy and the bacon was crispy. I definitely should have asked for some hot sauce to give it some additional flavor though. The Mac n Cheese was ok as I like my Mac n Cheese a little bit richer than this one. They did have different variants of the Mac n Cheese like Buffalo chicken and BBQ pork that would be worth a try. Service was adequate and prices were average. The Breakfast pizza was their brunch special and it was a 10 inch personal pie, which was very filling and it was $9. So that was an excellent deal. Like I said their menu was huge so I will have to come back and try some of their pizzas, especially their white pies. Overall, Warehouse Pizza is a solid neighborhood bar with decent food. I could definitely see myself coming here for future Boilermaker games! Boiler up!

Pontillo’s Pizzerias – Menu with Prices – 1687 Mt Hope Ave, Rochester

How many lousy pizzas can you order, eat & throw in the garbage before you vow never to order another one? We ordered 2 pizzas Thursday evening for delivery,1 medium without cheese and a large with cheese & pepperoni. The pizzas were warm & soggy, the botton crust burnt. The large pizza had no cheese & too much sauce & oregano. The chicken wings’ skins were not crispy so I had to pop them under the broiler. Seems to be a hit & miss to get a good pizza & wings from this location! I guess it depends on who is cooking & the amount of pride exerted. I threw the 7 remaining slices down the garbage disposer.
