This place is really good. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but their curry is top notch. I work all around Indiana and try Thai places everywhere I can. That being said, this is the best curry I have had in Indiana. Haven’t tried anything else on the menu besides the curries, but with curry this good I don’t need to! Try it out you won’t be disappointed.

Siam Thai Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 915 Hillcrest Rd Suite C, Mobile

Food was alright, however, I asked my server which of their curries was the hottest (red curry, could’ve fooled me) and requested “five star” spice level on said item which is supposed to be as spicy as they offer. I received the mildest curry I have ever eaten in my life; my grandmother would probably have loved it but I went to a Thai restaurant specifically for something very spicy. It did not taste right to have such a pathetically mild curry. I informed my waitress and she provided me with a particularly mild crock of red pepper flakes to add my meal which I very clearly desired to be very hot before hand. I got somewhat close to the desired level of heat I ordered but the texture of my curry was ruined by the 6 spoonfulls of red pepper flakes I had to add. Regardless of the friendly service and atmosphere, I highly doubt I’ll return. If you are someone who like spicy Thai food, look elsewhere; I was sorely disappointed.

Nirvana Taste Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 3032 S Calhoun St, Fort Wayne

I went for the first time yesterday with my friend Dennis, and then again today because the soup I wanted wasn’t available yesterday. I never know what to think about Thai food. I like curries, but Thai noodles aren’t really my thing. Dennis had a shrimp-in-a-blanket appetizer and some kind of pork. I had chicken wings for my appetizer and red curry (beef) as my entree. The shrimp, wrapped in egg roll dough and fried, was pretty good (and I’m not even really a fan of shrimp). The chicken wings kinda sucked. Dennis wasn’t super happy with the taste of his pork dish, but he ate it. I liked my red curry, but it would have been much better without all those green beans in it! (I wasn’t aware green beans in curry was a thing)? I took a sip of Dennis’s Thai tea, and it was actually pretty good (and I hate tea)! It tasted vaguely like a Creamsicle.

Ala Thai East – Menu with Prices – 6663 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery

I ordered the panang curry and it blew my mind. I love panang and order it at every Thai place I go to. I also love Thai and ate it everyday for lunch last summer. This place had some of the best I have had. The only weird thing is it’s served on a bunch of crispy won tons. I was disappointed when I saw it but they ended up being really good. They soaked up the curry well and therefore tasted fantastic. Also they didn’t get immediately soggy so you still got some crunch. Also the curry was mostly all meat. I hate when you pay $10 for curry sauce over potatoes with a piece of meat or two. This was all chicken with the occasional bell pepper mixed in. Finally, the staff was super friendly. They made sure we knew they delivered pretty much anywhere within half an hour and kept inviting us back. I would have gone back even if the curry was mediocre just because of how cool they were. I would knock a star because I paid $11+ for a relatively small portion of curry, but that’s the going rate for Thai food unfortunately. I was a little begrudging initially, but I’ll be forking over a lot more money the next time we go.

Laan Na Thai – Menu with Prices – 336 W 300 S, Salt Lake City

This is the definition of hole in the wall ma and pa shop which I am all for supporting! You walk into a room about the size of a bedroom with the two owners ready to take your order. There is limited bar style seating inside and a few tables outside on the sidewalk. I’m from Seattle where we have a huge melting pot of culture and there are more than a fair share of Thai restaurants I have been to. First off, the curry along with some other soups and dishes are already precooked and on cooking heaters at the cash register. Don’t let that put you off though because the yellow curry was probably the 2nd or 3rd best curry I have had thus far and I’ve tried at least 20+ different yellow curries. The Pad Seiw is also very flavorful and amazing! I would definitely recommend this place and would continue eating here. There is a dish called Drunken Noodles which is an escalation of the Pad Seiw with more vegetables! 5/5

Yimm Oakland – Menu with Prices – 6048 College Ave, Oakland

Solid Thai cuisine right in the heart of Rockridge! I’ve gotta be completely honest though; when I first heard that a new Thai place was coming to this area, I wasn’t all that thrilled. I just thought, “Another Thai place?” There are SO many Thai places in the area and many of them are located right on the same street. But after trying Yimm, I can honestly say that this spot is really tasty. I stopped by for lunch and had a really enjoyable experience. I absolutely love the décor! The interior is a mix of rustic and modern with a very open floor plan. The booths all have cute little pillows to sit back on. The bar, although small, is extremely charming. You can tell that they put a lot of thought into the design. Service was impeccable from beginning to end. My water was refilled promptly and never once did I feel rushed. My food arrived in a timely manner and they even boxed the leftovers up for me. Everyone was smiling was seemed really excited to be there. Apparently this is the sister restaurant of Imm Thai Street Food in Berkeley. I haven’t yet tried Imm Thai, but I’ve always heard good things about them. Yimm’s specialty is their “home cooking” style. They have array of “home cooked” items on their menu that are prepared a bit differently from your standard Thai cuisine. These particular menu items cost a bit more, but it makes sense because of the “home cooked” quality. I haven’t tried any of their home cooked items, but I will definitely be making another trip here to do so. I had their yellow chicken curry rice plate which was surprisingly really good. I’m used to Thai yellow curry being more on the mild side when it comes to the spice level. While this wasn’t super spicy, it had a great spicy kick that I thoroughly enjoyed. I’m not used to this with yellow curries, but I really enjoyed it. The curry was nice and thick and the potatoes and veggies were cooked perfectly, almost to the point of them melting in my mouth. The Thai spices were so pronounced and extremely fragrant. This curry was the bomb.com! While I enjoyed the yellow curry, it wasn’t anything that knocked my socks off. It was good but not the best that I’ve ever had. However, it still poses as a solid option for Thai food in the Rockridge area. I’m planning on coming back to try some of their home cooked entrees soon.

Bistro 1245 – Menu with Prices – 1245 W University Ave, Gainesville

I did not have a good experience at Leonardos and I hoped that Bistro would be a much better experience. I’ve read the reviews that the service is terrible. And its true. The person at the front was using her phone while I was trying to get my order. The service isn’t as bad as what I expected but still something I would think that should not occur at establishments like this. The interior is nice. A little dirty but all restaurants are a bit like that. I ordered the curry pasta and wow it was spectacularly disgusting. I don’t think I have tasted something so so salty in my life from a restaurant. I kinda expected the curry to be thick but it was all liquid. The flavor was just soy sauce. And man, that was so much soy sauce. I wouldn’t be surprised if they just dumped a cup of soysauce in there. I have a couple things to say about this. 1. That’s not a proper use to soy sauce. You would use oyster sauce for stuff like fried rice. Or marinade a steak or fish with soy sauce. Noodles you can stirfry with soy sauce but you absolutely do not use this audacious amount of soy sauce. 2. You just do not put soy sauce in curry like that. Indian curries don’t do this. Japanese curries don’t do this. Southeast Asian curries do not do this. Why did this restaurant think this was a good idea. It just disgusts me how soy sauce was so properly misused. I am not coming to this establishment again. Trust.

Thai Kitchen Menu with Prices 3421 E Tudor Rd #A, Anchorage

I’m pretty bummed I have to write this but I wanted to share my lackluster experience here at TK. Let me start off by saying I used to love it here. My mom would take me here after she got off work at providence and it was a nice comfort food spot when I was younger. Today I stopped in for the lunch special. $11- seemed fair. I asked for the pad Thai- but was told it already had peanuts in it. A lot of places either put it on the side or don’t add it in till later. This should be a thing for a lot of people as people with allergies want to enjoy food too. I opened the box I was given and saw everything had barely been filled. What’s worse was the food was bland. I had the broccoli beef, yellow curry, and Thai basil chicken. The broccoli beef was not seasoned at all. The yellow curry was watery and not very curry like. And the Thai basil chicken literally was just chunks of old wet basil with poor cuts of chicken. What happened guys? I’ll come back once things are fixed. But for now, you’ve lost my business.

Salpicón Salvadorean Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 2252 Euclid Ave G, Ontario

I absolutely love the pupusas here, my go to’s are the chicharon con queso and the revueltas. I havent been here in about a year. I called on a Thursday and luckily they had a special of 10 for $20. Totally worth it! Of course they are delish, not too much masa. Anyway the reason for the 3 stars is the curtido doesnt taste the same as the one I was used to here. I noticed and tasted giant pieces of white onion, gross! I dont make my curtido with onion, I hate onions and I didnt kmow they had changed their recipe. It was so overpowering that it gave it a different flavor. I removed some of the pieces everytime I added curtido (which is on every pupusa). It was a little better but i was really bummed because once you taste onion or eat it, the rest of your food tastes like that. I dislike having dragon breath. I

Tasty Thai Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 1515 S Byrne Rd, Toledo

I was in town visiting a friend and we decided to enjoy some Thai for lunch. This place was not busy at all on a Friday around noon. I think maybe 1-2 people showed up while we were enjoying our meals. We looked over the menu and I decided on green seafood curry made Thai spicy. The menu is quite huge and tons of options to choose from which was a pleasant surprise. I think anyone would be able to eat her to satisfy their Thai cravings. The service was quite fast which was nice. My meal on my spice scale was more of 2-3 out of a 5. However, if you look at my past review of other Thai places around the world you will see my spice palate is crazy. It takes a lot for me to think anything is spicy. I enjoyed the variety and the amount of seafood in my curry.Overall a decent spot in Toledo for Thai food. Enjoy!

Time Out Sports Bar & Grill – Menu with Prices – 1762 S Greenfield Rd Ste 111, Mesa

My fiance and I came here when it first changed to Time Out. We sat at a bar table and was assisted by the bartender. she was SO nice and told us all about the new changes and how she worked there when it was Fat Willys and we told her how we only went there once because food was gross. She assured us new owner made many changes. We were ecstatic. We ordered a burger and wings and some mixed drinks. Food came out perfect. No complaints at all. We live across the street and were excited that this place was now amazing. Ended there because every time we go in there now there is new charges. Now they charge for fries when they didnt the first time. Then after getting our bill we noticed they charge for kids drinks, they dont come with the kids meal like most places. Also they have kids eat free which is a big deal for us since we have 3, well apparently even though we paid full price for wings because it wasnt a day they were on special, they still wouldnt count it as an entree even though they cost more than the burger. At least make it a dollar amount or have it written somewhere in the place. We gad an amazing experience the first time but have been back 3 times since and been disappointed by service and by surprise charges. Wont be coming back. Havent seen that nice bartender since, unfortunately. Seems like they just want to do anything to get more money out of you but not really care about their guests. Sad to see.

Asian Express & Thai Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 2943 S Rutherford Blvd, Murfreesboro

Was Nappakao Thai. They are currently trying to find a new location. This is by far the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. Amazing selections too. The best curry dishes and absolutely without a doubt the best quality appetizers. The summer rolls are amazing and so much more fresh (and much bigger) than anywhere else! The curry dishes aren’t too thick and are more soupy (the way I like it). They have good serving sizes and quality ingredients. The spice shouldn’t be a problem for anyone, unless you don’t like spicy, and if that’s the case you probably shouldn’t even be eating curry anywhere. Everything I’ve tried is the best I’ve tried anywhere, and I’ve been everywhere. If you like sugary drinks, don’t forget to try the Thai tea! Second best (maybe tied for first) Thai food around Middle Tennessee is probably at Sakura in Franklin, TN.
