A friend and I wanted to have some dinner and a beer and decided we would try Oregon Wood Fired Pizza, well because it’s pizza and it was voted one of the best pizzas in Oregon. It was busy and we weren’t actually that hungry and wanted a half and half pizza to split between us. The person making the pizza said that it was to busy to do a half and half and that we had to each get a pizza. My friend asked so it takes longer to make a 1 half and half pizza than two pizzas. At this point they were deer in headlights because they really they didn’t have an answer. This was the first thing that disappointed me. The second disappointment was the pizza. It was a wet mess. Most of the toppings fell off and the crust was so soft that I hard time picking up my slices. The taste was okay, but not stellar. I think this place has been affected by popularity like a lot of places that are voted best at something and now suffers from serving quantity instead of quality. Also like other popular places they gain a “my shit don’t stink” attitude. I would give them another chance, but at $14 a pop… My pocket book tells me there are better options out there, but who knows maybe I might.

Pizza Hut Express – Menu with Prices – 2056 Skibo Rd, Fayetteville

Usually every time I go to Target, I stop in at the Pizza Hut Express. I have never had a reason to complain. The pizza has always been excellent. Yesterday I was in Fayetteville and my daughter wanted to stop by Target to do some shopping and of course wanted pizza. We finished our shopping and decided to get the pizzas to go. I ordered three, two pepperoni and a cheese. When we got home and started eating the pizzas, we found that all three pizzas did not have pizza sauce on them. We tried to eat them anyway, but they just did not taste the same. We were very disappointed.

Zavarellas Pizza – Menu with Prices – 1937 Clements Ferry Rd Suite B, Charleston

I stopped by this place to see what their pizza was about since it’s fairly new and not to far up the street for me. I was great by the owner of the store once I came in. The owner and the employees at the store were very friendly. They even wanted me to come work there for them since they’re hiring and looking for people. If you get a tray, it’s quite a bit of pizza i for sure! One tray is 16 slices and the slices are of good size I’d say. I enjoyed the pizza when I got home to eat some of it. The sauce was different and tasty. The only problem I had with it was that I wished I had of it asked for it to be well done because it seemed like the pepperoni on the pizza could’ve been cooked a lil bit longer than they were. The whole entire thing last me almost 3 days too! Talk about having multiple meals out of 1 tray of pizzas. They have a lunch deal of 4 slices and a drink for $7. Pretty good deal I think. I’m definitely going to have to try that out one of days when I craving some pizza for lunch and don’t want to go to far.

The Pizza Press – Menu with Prices – 6079 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee

We stopped here during our vacation in Orlando, and it was a good decision. We weren’t sure what to expect walking into the Pizza Press, but we were quite surprised in what we found. If you’ve been to Blaze, then the concept is similar. Quick and fast personal pizza. They have quite a variety of signature pizzas, as well a build your own, with a pretty impressive list of ingredients to choose from. We ordered 2 of their signature pizzas, The Tribune and Chronicle. We did add a few things on both, and the service was happy to accommodate our requests. In fact, my wife took a while “building” her pizza, and there was nothing but smiles and laughing from the service team. Maybe it was because they weren’t too busy when we arrived, but it was nice to see. We got one of their specials, which was 2 pizzas and drinks. We got seated and waited for our pizzas. While we waited we noticed all the newspaper inspired items around the place, and realize that was the whole concept of the Pizza Press. Interesting. Our pizzas came and both were quite delicious. The sweet Italian sausage on the Tribune was a hit with me, while the all the veggies on the Chronicle were very good and tasty. We couldn’t finish either, with a few slices left, so we got a to-go box for them and took it back to our hotel (I did have some the next day). Overall, The Pizza Press offered a very tasty pizza and the service was great. If we vacation in Orlando (or down by Celebration, Fl), we will at least know of a pizza place we enjoyed.

Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza – Menu with Prices – 340 Oyster Point Rd #103, Newport News

My coworkers recommended Papa Murphy’s. They all raved about the pizza, so I had to try it. Normally, I would say that Pizza is pizza, but there is something special about Papa’s. Fresh is the key word with Papa. You get to watch the Pizza’s being made right in front of you from ingredients that are clearly fresh. You might get the impression that weighing the pizzas and ingredients is their way of being cheap, but it is actually maintaining consistency with their pizzas. No nasty faux ingredients like that other pizza joint with a similar name. You have to cook your own pizza at home, but I find that refreshing. It allows me to pick up the pizza and bake it at my leisure, so that the pizza is hot and ready to go when I am. I find that better than pizza made miles away, put in a cardboard box and brought to my house 30 minutes (or more) later. My personal favorite is the Chicago stuffed pizza. It’s so big that I can barely eat two slices. My wife loves the Gluten Free pizza too. I spent under $30 for both of those two pizzas, so the price is reasonable with plenty of leftovers. Mmmm! I’ve eaten Papa Murphy’s pizza many times and it is always consistently delicious.

Anthony’s Pizzeria – Menu with Prices – 9659 suite 103, Milliken Ave, Rancho Cucamonga

Great pizza, even better cannolis! I mustve passed by this place a hundred times before ever trying a pizza here. The signage may be a little confusing but the pizza is delicious! Mind you, there are A LOT of pizza places around the Rancho/Ontario area and this one is definitely my top two! The thing i like about their pizzas is that I dont feel like complete crap after eating them. I get a medium “Gotta love cheese” its like their white pizza, and its just perfect. The pizza dough is light and fresh, and you can really taste the difference between other places. Now, the cannolis!!!?!?!?!? amazing! Crunchy, fresh, and cream filling is legit. Its not that type of tasteless filling, or filling that tastes like buttercream frosting, its the real deal. I usually do not care for cannolis AT ALL! The first cannoli i’ve ever had was in Little Italy in NYC at this popular cannoli spot and it was trash compared to the cannolis here at Anthony’s. Please don’t buy any because I hate going there and there aren’t that many left. Thanks! There is a bit of a wait sometimes because theres only a few people that work here but its not too bad. The employees I’ve encountered are very nice and sweet, theres one lady that is always so sweet and another guy who looks like he may be thee Anthony who was so so nice when I came in to buy cannolis so I could eat my feelings–I always look forward to visiting this spot. However, my sister did have kind of an unpleasant experience with one employee we hadn’t seen before due to him talking to a customer for an extended amount of time and then not being able to make her the pizza she wanted. Other than that, a great place with great pizzas and cannolis!

Mikey’s Late Night Slice – Menu with Prices – 2014 Elm St, Cincinnati

The ONLY reason Mikey’s isn’t getting one star from me is because the gentleman making pizzas realized how awful my experience was and tried to make it right by making a whole pizza for me. (I only ordered two slices.) My friends and I were looking for late night food. Options are severely limited downtown on a Wednesday. Even in my inebriated state, I somehow remembered that Mikey’s is open until 3am everyday. We called a Lyft from the banks and headed up. The interior of this Mikey’s is trendy and fun. Whoever was in charge of putting it all together did the most – in a good way. There are a lot of instagrammable signs and artwork, and plenty of seating should it be busy, or you know, if you end up waiting 45 minutes for pizza. My friends and I walked up and waited in line to order. There were only four slices of pizza in the display case, and the person taking my order stated in a very snarky tone that my mushroom & sausage slices would be a wait. Well, yes, I can very obviously see that. I’m willing to wait for hot pizza. I should have known from then it would be an ordeal to get my pizza. There was absolutely no communication between the the guy taking orders and the guy making pizza. A line started to form at the bar of people who were waiting on slices. The man making pizza was doing so at a leisure pace, and was making things that weren’t even being ordered. About halfway through my wait time, I noted to the front employee I was waiting on a spicy & a mushroom. Before I could correct myself, I was met with a sharp “I KNOW.” I mean you don’t because that’s not what I ordered, but it had been 30 minutes at this point and I just wanted something to eat. More pizzas were made and cut for slices, and many people were just taking what was up there. Pizzas that had not been ordered were sliced and put up for grabs, and I saw a few people take advantage of that and take slices they didn’t order, but at this point they rightly deserved. It was strangely chaotic considering there weren’t too many of us waiting. Again, had the two guys working spoke to each other (well actually had the know-it-all at the register answered the guy making pizzas), it would have gone much smoother. The guy who offered me a full pizza, and I’m assuming is the manager, looked up around the time I asked for the second time what’s going on with my order, and realized there was a line of people waiting for pizzas he wasn’t making. He started to seem just as annoyed as us about these pizzas that weren’t being made. I’ll give him credit for making a whole pizza just for me, but I assume it was because my displeasure for the whole experience was starting to be voiced loudly. He must’ve known at this point I was waiting 40+ minutes because he mentioned it was “complete bullshit” how long I’d been waiting. By the time I received my pizza, I grabbed some of their sauces to go and went into an Uber home. I wasn’t hungry anymore. While I appreciated the gesture of receiving a pizza, I still can’t get over how long I waited (or how tipsy Stephanie did not have a full on panic attack). In case you were wondering, my friends and I came into Mikey’s at 2am on the dot. I know because I texted my friend that I went to the Mikey’s in Columbus with to let him know we have one in Cincinnati now. My Uber came to pick me up at 2:49am. This is supposed to be a Sbarro style warm up your pizza, eat, and leave type of establishment. Hell, it says it right on the box! After my nightmarish experience, how was the pizza? If you remember my Mikey’s Columbus review, you’ll remember I wasn’t the biggest fan. The pizza I took home with me didn’t do much to change my mind. The crust is just as chewy and delicious as I remembered, and this mushroom pizza had more flavor than the last one I had. However, there’s still no

New Boston Style Pizza – Menu with Prices – 2422 Rhawn St, Philadelphia

I agree with people who writes that this pizza place is the worst. Order this week pizza in December , 2018 never tried this kind of pizza in my whole life. It was sour and spoiled pizza and was stinky. I know everyone have different taste, but this pizza was awful. I order pizzas from different places and I may dislike some pizza but I don’t really write review since everyone makes their own pizza. But here pizza was expired I can tell. It has that sour smell. Never experience this kind of pizza.

pizza de miami – Menu with Prices – 601 collins ave #5 In Between Collins Ave &, Ocean Dr, Miami Beach

We were starving after a fun filled sunny day at the beach. As we walked to our car we noticed this pizza shop. Pizza’s were Huge and smelled delicious. We knew we had to get some. We sat down (there was 5 of us) and we decided we would get half veggie other half cheese. When ordering we advised exactly what veggie toppings we wanted. As we sat and waited the place became packed. Alot of people were ordering not only pizza but were also indulging in the ice cream and icee they also had. Perfect on this beautiful hot day. As we waited, we watched other pizzas being prepared as the kitchen is right behind the counter and all open. After waiting for our freshly made pizza we were disappointed as the pizza came out All veggie. Now I love veggie pizza so it wasn’t a problem for me but for the 2 teenagers we had it was. I had to go back and let them know they made a big mistake. The manager then came and grabbed the whole pizza and let us know he would have another pizza made for us. It was a little frustrating and it didn’t help that alot of people who came in after us were already eating or their orders were just coming out. So while we waited I guess the manager saw the annoyance in our facial expressions and he gave us all free sodas. So after another 25 mins. we finally got our pizza. Now this pizza was beyond huge. I can usually eat 2 to 3 slices but this slice I couldn’t defeat. It was so huge I ate only half of a slice! Let’s talk about taste. Now even though they messed up earlier and tried to make amends with some sodas, it was all worth it! This pizza was freaking delicious! Our table was silent from all of us devouring our slices. The pizza was fresh, hot, and the toppings just went so well. So even though we had a little mishap in the beginning, hell yeah I would come back here. And as far as the cost of the pizza it surprised me. I expected it to be a little more expensive then the average pizza place but it was still sensible. After a sunny day on the beach I’m glad we stopped here. The food was delicious, manager apologetic but quick with resolving the issue, and the place was kept so nice and clean. We were all satisfied and even took the rest home to devour later. This pizza shop is great and I actually look forward in coming back and trying to finish a whole slice!

Eataly Pizza – Menu with Prices – 3651 Sycamore School Rd #100, Fort Worth

The flavor of the pizza and toppings were awesome. It a bit to get used to some of the terminology being Italian based menu but the guy at the counter was kind enough to explain the differences in the pizza options. I selected a Siciliana Which is a square deep dish and got the meat lovers without chicken and double pepperoni on half. I was pleased that they didn’t skimp on any of the meets and the pizza came out cooked properly, not soggy or burnt like some places. My only slightest gripes were that the cuts weren’t all the way through so a few slices got the toppings ripped off as you lifted them, and the crust was a tiny bit tougher than I’d have liked, but that could just be due to the thickness of the Siciliana vs the other style pizzas. It smelled great, and I could barely hold off getting the pizza home, I really wanted to be selfish and eat the entire there right there on the spot, it was very very good. Keep in mind for people who don’t care for greasy pizza you may have to try one of the other styles, they may possibly be a bit different. I love somewhat greasy pizza and it wasn’t overly done or just soaking through the box, it’s just a warning don’t wear your favorite shirt unless you want it adorned with some great pizza smells. For the size pizza that I recieved, it was enough for a regular family of 3 or 4 aside from the fact I’d happily gorge myself to eat it alone, and the pricing was fantastic .

Mr. Pizza Brick Oven and Tap – Menu with Prices – 3443 Macon Rd, Columbus

My husband and I decided to give this place a try since we are fans of well made pizza. The pizza was alright. The selection of house pizzas were kinda boring with nothing very special about them. We each ordered an 8″ pizza to give two different flavors a try. As we were sitting there we noticed they were advertising on the screens all day Monday buy one adult entrée get one half off with a picture of a pizza, but when we got our bill, we were charged full price for both pizzas. We asked the server about it and she came back to tell us that pizza is not included in that deal. It’s a freaking pizza place and the ad had a picture of a pizza!! Overall not worth $11 for a very small, greasy, boring personal pizza.

BIGA Contemporary Pizza – Menu with Prices – 1 Clinton St, New York

My friends and I ended up coming here on a cold winter’s night last minute, without a reservation, and on a Saturday evening, due to it being Australia Day, and a giant crowd at Benson’s. It was prime dinner hour, but Biga was pretty empty despite that, and we were able to be seated straight away. The service was very friendly and informative, and they told us that it was BYO and there was a wine shop across the street if we wanted to run across and buy anything. There were four of us, so we decided to split the panini pizza (two sided, like a sandwich), and the regular pizza. Biga Pizza is unlike other pizza places, in that it emphasizes the healthiness of its dough. I definitely felt that the dough was different from other pizzerias- it was more crusty, light, and not oily, like other pizzas I’ve had here. Both pizzas were not bad, but I would not say they were amazing or recommend to people to come here if it is out of the way. The idea of healthier pizza is nice, and the service and ambience were lovely, but in a city full of amazing pizza places, this one doesn’t quite cut it.

Baker and Brewer – Menu with Prices – 94 Stuart St, Charleston

Went to Baker and Brewer last Sunday July 21st. As a big fan of Desanos, I really wanted to like Baker and Brewer. The interior is certainly more welcoming than the old Desano’s restaurant; however, it is very noisy. Started with the wood-fired olives with poblano and garlic. Good sized portion for four people but warm olives are just weird. No one in our group could taste the poblanos? Followed the olives with the peach salad. salad was a nice size for four people. Local bibb lettuce was great. SC peaches were lacking in flavor and cut julienne style so they looked like shredded cheddar cheese. The star of the salad was the pickled red pepper. Not sure why there was cilantro in this salad? Ordered a margherita and a pork trifecta pizza. The pizzas are 12 inch vs Desano’s pizzas which were 16 inch. Desanos pizzas were a little more expensive than the Baker pizzas but 16 inch pizza is almost double the size of a 12 inch pizza. Always loved Desanos pizzas and like Evo pizzas but there was nothing special about these pies. As far as the beer side goes, I have plebeian tastes. The Czech Collab was cloudy and slightly citrusey. Everyone at the table tasted it and no one really liked it. Also had a Joat Bier Belgian IPA which tasted liked most other hopped up IPA’s. The Mexican light was good only in that is a very neutral beer but again I have simple tastes in beer. Spoke with a friend who went to Baker and Brewer with his family on Tuesday July 23rd for dinner. He has always been a fan of Evo but was not impressed. All I can say is the place was busy but I’m not sure why?
