I attended this establishment with my wife the first time we are an interracial couple the patrons were awesome, however the wait staff was not to friendly I didn’t notice but my wife did we were ignored for some time so I had to gather our drinks but she did notice that all the other patrons were being served by wait staff. I am not sure if this is by design or just reflects leadership or just unhappy wait staff but moving on my wife and I enjoyed our time together and then left. I returned to this establishment again recently alone to see if there was a difference and it was the same, I watch as others are served and I was ignored there was not a large crowd just the willingness to ignore me as a patron. So I don’t want to call a spade a spade but you tell me.

Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza Menu with Prices 3705 Columbus St, Bakersfield

My family LOVES getting take n bake pizza from here more than ordering pizza! The fact that we have to pick it up and bake it makes no difference to us because the quality is so good. Every time we go the staff is super friendly and very patient. They’re usually not crowded, so it’s pretty quick service. You can call ahead and order too if you want it ready when you get there. But we like to watch them make it and they’re great about customizing anything. On Tuesday you can get any large pizza for $10! Trust me, it’s a bargain. I highly recommend this place.

Kuru Kuru Sushi Menu with Prices 11 Bellwether Way, Bellingham

As a regular I see the interaction between boss and staff members quite often. Last time I was in, the female boss (Judy) yelled at an employee to where it was uncomfortable to watch. Now I’m in again and what do I see? The same woman yelling again at an employee. I get it, it’s a business and it needs to run smoothly but there is a difference between constructive criticism and simply being outright disrespectful. As a parent it scares me to think that my childs boss could yell at them in such a way for trying their hardest and doing their best. Also can’t help to notice the turnover rate there. Treat your employees better, and maybe they’d wanna keep working for you.

American Legion Post 240 Pensacola – Menu with Prices – 8666 Gulf Beach Hwy, Pensacola

This isnt about the post as much as it is about the woman working to help veterans with their benifits. Donna Hudson has continued to ignore my calls and fails to try to get back in touch since early october. Ive had two appointments and my first one i was left waiting almost an hour and the second one she blew off completely. No call back to reschedule or a courtesy notice that she wouldnt be there. Im not even sure if she still works there but its truely unacceptable. At least the VA will answer the phone to give me the run around.

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 15885 N Fwy, Fort Worth

If I could leave less stars I would! So here goes: I call ahead to inquire about call ahead seating. She says “we don’t do that, you have to do it online” perfect so I go online, check us in. We get to the restaurant and I tell her I checked in online. She says great you are 4th on the list. We are handed a flyer for half off wine while you wait. We go immediately to the bar. The flyer says half off wine, drafts, and bottled beer. So, we ordered a bottled beer. The MANAGER tells us that those aren’t half off and only drafts are half off. So I changed my beer order to a draft beer. She brings it to me and then says “omg I’m so sorry that was a knowledge mistake on my part. I’ll charge you for the one you originally ordered”. But did we get the original? No. Oh well. Moving on… we wait… we wait… My wife drinks her wine… I watch the ENTIRE lobby of people get seated. I TURN AROUND FULLY in my bar sets and watch the hostess seat a BRAND NEW family immediately from outside. So my wife took the pager up there and start tapping my pager on her hostess stand. She comes up and looks at it and says “oh, is it going off??” Me: “no I just wanted to check my place in line because I was fourth but apparently all the new people from the outside universe somehow had priority before me and got seated just now”. She goes immediately to her screen, does not apologize and says “there is no waitlist”. ***** I AM THE ****ING WAITLIST!!! So I angrily repeat what I said about having a pager and going to the bar… her assistant comes up and says “oh I cleared you…” WHAT. THE ACTUAL ****?!!?! So then they say… we need you to wait so we can find a table. So we finally get seated. The lady brings us only 3 breadsticks and took more than 15 minutes to bring my wife another wine. So we order food. We wait. We wait. We wait. We wait. She finally comes back and says “y’all had your food already??” Me: “no ma’am. No food. Did I stick the pasta in my pockets!?” So she runs back to “check it”. Comes back with the detest spaghetti noodles I’ve ever encountered in my life. Then. Then. The icing on the bleeping cake… did not come back to check on me for 15 minutes and I was waiting on breadsticks. Overall the worst experience we have ever had at an Olive Garden!!!

Traveler’s Table – Menu with Prices – 520 Westheimer Rd, Houston

So you know how you’ve got that friend that likes to buy nice stuff and show it off but doesn’t really know how to use it? 5k tv still playing vhs tapes, brand new Corvette but drives in the slow lane and can barely drive stick. That’s these guys. Open for two months? At least some of the kinks should be worked out. Don’t force me to valet, it’s awkward to watch a young kid fumble through keys as I literally can touch my car from the stand. Don’t tell me you can “squeeze me in” when I call on the way to find you have an empty bar and 2 other patrons. Most importantly don’t make me wait 15 minutes to be sat with said empty restaurant. The waitress took another 15 minutes to ask for a drink order then disappeared upstairs to do who knows what. Ended up walking to the bar to grab the drinks that we ordered from the bar. To her credit she did say “I could have gotten those” when she came back. Yes you could have young lady, yes you could. You’d think the next step would be to order food. Nope, she went to get us plates. After another 10 min wait we were asked the one question every server needs to ask “would you like to order?” I mean assume the sale. I will say this, after a 45 minute wait we were hungry, we ordered a lot. I would even go as far as to say an impressive amount. Maybe that’s their business model make em wait. Who needs table turnover when you can starve em till they order twice their parties size? I assume the food was good. They certainly charged like it was. It is hard to tell when your scarfing it down like a starving refugee. Maybe that’s what they meant by travelers. You may be asking yourself why 3 stars why not a 1? Well the ambiance was nice, the drinks were well mixed they just sat a little too long and I’m hoping that it was just that server. I don’t have much hope seeing as there was plenty of staff watching including what I assume were two managers and I guess with an empty bar the bartender could have walked the drinks over but hey there’s a difference between no hope and hopeless.

Indiana State Museum – Menu with Prices – 650 W Washington St, Indianapolis

I love the IMAX. We go quite often to both 3D and 2D. This is the place to watch a movie. Now when buying tix it’s competitive to get middle of the theater seating. I have actually sit in both areas and really don’t notice a huge difference. But I have friends and family that won’t go unless they get in the middle. One of the things I love is that the theater serve alcohol. I think a relaxing glass of wine just makes the experience that much better. They have a parking garage below and I have never had trouble finding a spot. Inside the seats are spacious and reclining, truly a great opportunity to lay back and enjoy the movie. Inside I thought the temperature was awesome but my wife was chilly. So if you’re prone to being cold bring a jacket. After the movie exit out the back door and enjoy the canal for a stroll.

Mr. Bill’s Fresh Seafood – Menu with Prices – 430 Harrisburg Ave, Lancaster

1st I’ll start with the positive part… Their crabs do taste good. However… I called and ordered a doz and a half Large males. Now, Im not familiar with the numbers. Apparently Larges are number 98 and extra larges are 99. I just asked for large. Should have been $65 a doz. I get to check out and my bill was over $150! I said what? That’s more then they should be. She said I ordered 99s which are $90 a doz. No I ordered LARGE!! She explained the difference and I asked her if 99s are large or extra large? She says extra large… Ok so if i call and order LARGE, why are you giving me EXTRA LARGE!!?! So be careful and make sure they are clear on what u want. On another note, they were over cooked. We got no meat out of the legs, which is disappointing if ur someone who likes to get every last bit of meat outta them. Will never go there again. We will stick with Chesapeake… Much better service and we have never had a problem there.

Haifa Falafel Menu with Prices 4585 Washtenaw Ave #2, Ann Arbor

I usually have a great time there and the food is Phenomenal. Yesterday was different I call they didn’t answer the phone. I call two more times finally someone answer. That’s ok they get busy… then I get there trying to pay for my food they were having technical issues with the cash register. I get stuff happens still waiting after the people in front of me place there orders he goes to the back to start the food. He isn’t by himself another guy is sweeping. Then two more customers come in I’m still at the desk waiting to pay. He takes their orders like I wasn’t there. Wow. My wife tells me to sit down and wait for the food pay afterwards. Then another guy comes in he goes back in finished our food. So i still needed some drinks that I ordered and my 12 falafel. That’s when the older guy tells me I can go like sit down an eat. This infuriates me because I have been patient. Also after eating instill had to pay for my food and waited 10 more minutes. In short I guess dont go there between 230 and 330 must be a shift change or something

Dilla Libre Dos – Menu with Prices – 8018 E Thomas Rd, Scottsdale

I would like to start with my Wife and I truly LOVED this restaurant, we would come in 1-3 times per week, could not get enough! We loved it so much we decided to celebrate my Wife’s 40th birthday party with our closest friends and family. We spoke to both owners about our group coming in to celebrate to ensure the restaurant would be properly staffed and could accommodate our group of roughly 20 people. Both owners ensured us there would be no issues. From the moment our group arrived we were met with rude and disgruntled servers, almost as if they were annoyed we actually showed up to our reservation. We where then ignored for roughly 20-30 mins by staff until someone at our party got up and asked the servers to order drinks and food. Our group ordered 1 round of drinks which only half our group actually recieved. When we asked the servers where the rest of the groups drinks where we were told we had been ‘cut off’ for being to loud and obnoxious. Keep in mind this was for my Wife’s 40th birthday party, everyone in our group are parents, they are all respectful and responsible, we are all a long ways removed from the days of being obnoxious! Also I do not even drink alcohol so to cut off my group off for being obnoxious when I myself don’t even drink was shameful on Dilla Libre part, SHAMEFUL!! Our group was told we were cut off because others in the restaurant where complaining, which was absolutely not truthful and the gentlemen (Joshua M.) who’s 5 star review mentions the night our group was there is either an employee of the establishment or a friend. I’ve never in my life been treated with such disrespect, disregard and ultimately humiliated in front of friends and family. For weeks leading up to my Wife’s party we would praise Dilla Libre to everyone, we couldn’t wait to bring our people to this new incredible spot. Unfortunately now we will be doing the exact opposite and sharing our experience of this night with anyone and everyone who will listen. My advice to the owners who I genuinely liked is to get new staff!! Your wait staff has always been your weak link, especially Estevan! I am not saying this to be little Estevan but he just does not represent your establishment well, he is often times rude, standoffish and is just not good at managing multiple tables in a restaurant. In closing I just want to say I am saddened to be writing this as we were truly your biggest fans. My only hope is you sincerely read the words I have written and make better decisions when it comes to staff, when it comes to how you treat patrons. Unfortunately for us we will never again spend our family’s money at any of your business establishments and will advise any others to do the same ?

Darmstadt Inn – Menu with Prices – 13130 Darmstadt Rd, Evansville

We visit the Darmstadt Inn 3-4 times a year and the last 2 times the food and service were not very good. Was there about 6 weeks ago for breakfast. We arenâ??t regulars so as usually we had to wait until the waitress got around to waiting on us after she took care of her regulars, some came in 5 minutes after we did. Then when our food finally came out about 30 minutes after we placed our order, it was cold and burnt!!! A great way to start today. Today we decided to give it a try again. And we did get wasted on right away, as it was about 2PM and the place was empty. My wife and I both ordered cheeseburgers and asked for pickle, onions and tomato on them. When we got them and they were out to us pretty quick, the buns had been toasted, which we love, except these were as black as the ace of spade, and so naturally they tasted the same way!!! I canâ??t believe the cook sent them out to customers this way?? I just assume they just didnâ??t care, because it was very easy to see. The tomato slice was thin enough to read through as my wife made the comment as we started to eat.. . When the bill came, we were charged 75 cents each for a â??Dressed Sandwichâ?. $1.50 for 2 slices of hot house green and pink tomatoes. I order a glass of ice tea, that never was filled. Guess only regulars get refills.. . Needless to say, we probably wonâ??t be back anytime soon. I canâ??t afford $10.00 tomatoâ??s, and burnt food. I will spend my money elsewhere.

The Fat Crab Cafe – Menu with Prices – 430 Harrisburg Ave, Lancaster

Big fan of Mr. Bill’s! And have been looking forward to trying the cafe for quite sometime. Love the outdoor patio and plenty of seating inside. This may not be a frequent occurrence, but the prices on the TV didn’t match with the prices on the menu. We ordered off the TV and didn’t take notice of the difference until we got the check. No big deal, but we did mention it to staff and she didn’t care, no apology offered or “thank you for letting us know.” We thought we were doing them the favor incase it impacted future patrons, but instead it seemed like it was more of an annoyance that we said anything at all. Oyster Po Boy…I was skeptical to order. It’s nearly impossible to find a restaurant that knows how to make a traditional Po Boy around here. No real complaints, just underwhelming. The flavor of the oyster was lost due to being fried and it was bland. I was hoping there would have been a spice in the breading. Enjoyed the sauce with the steamed clams, garlicky and buttery.

Skrimp Shack – Menu with Prices – 605 Newmarket Dr N #28, Newport News

The food is good and the establishment is well maintained, staff were friendly and courteous, so why am I giving them one star?? Hygiene issue. My wife and I went in for lunch she ordered a shrimp basket and I had the whiting. They got my wife’s order wrong and promptly corrected without issue. Here is what we witnessed, the staff member/manager went from preparing / breading fish (with gloved hands) to taking a customer’s order and handling cash (with the same gloved hands) then when she was done, removed fish and replaced it with shrimp for my wifes order (with the exact same gloved hands) Me and my wife took major issue with this and politely asked that the staff member change their gloves and prepare a fresh (uncontaminated) order of shrimp. The staff member/manager exclaimed they dont change their gloves like that, we are not ones to argue a stores policy, if the MANAGER doesn’t see an issue with not changing gloves between handling food and money that is simply not a place that I will EVER eat at again. The staff were never rude and promptly returned our funds but not willing to simply change their gloves on request. I can understand not changing gloves if thats all you are doing is handling / preparing food. P.S. management / owner save the canned apology and educate your staff on basic hygiene before you get sued.
