So very very happy with our choice to celebrate our son’s graduation here! The people are so super nice and accommodating! They welcomed us with open arms, and made a very nice space for us. The atmosphere was fun and the space was very nice. The food!!!!!! Oh my gosh!!! We tried several of their special pizzas, and were blown away at the flavors. The Taco Pizza was just great!! Was not sure if I was going to like it, but was surprised at how great it was. The Butcher was over the top good as well as the Californian! The crust on all the pizzas was crispy and light. Love it!! Cannot say enough good things about this place!! Go in, enjoy and have fun!!

Bop’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 921 Blairs Ferry Rd NE Suite 130, Cedar Rapids

We ordered a taco and a cheeseburger pizza tonight. Delicious! The taco pizza has a great deal of flavorful taco meat and not too much lettuce. The cheese was melted and gooey. Our pizzas were New York, which is a light airy crust. The cheeseburger pizza had just a little too many pickles for my taste; however, the true cheeseburger pizza experts in our family said it was stop on. The order was ready on time, the staff was my polite, and the order was accurate. Can’t beat that.

Pizzeria Dei Sassi – Menu with Prices – 6, 5200 Dixie Rd, Mississauga

Note: Even though they have a “Special” on their website + Yelp for Monday (Buy One Pizza, Get One 50% Off), their restaurant is actually CLOSED on Mondays. So this false advertising doesn’t really give me a great impression! I brought this up to the waiter and he said that they’ve been closed on Mondays for the past few months. I’ve had this place bookmarked forever and drove out of my way when I felt like eating pizza. I arrived at an off-time, so there was only another couple there. Pizzas aren’t cheap, but you can DEFINITELY share an 11″ pizza! In fact, I’d probably do that next time as opposed to paying double. They give you complimentary bread, so that takes up some stomach space. Pizza has to be eating with a knife and fork since ingredients are more wet, crust not firm or crispy, but more dough was more springy with a crispy crust. Crust is thinner than Pizza Pizza, but not as thin as Neapolitan pizza. Ingredients do seem fresh. 11″ Funghi Salsiccia was $15.95. Although pizza was decent, I wasn’t blown away especially considering the high reviews. I wouldn’t drive out of my way to dine here. This is why it’s only 3* + offering a deal which is essentially useless.

California Express Pizza – Menu with Prices – 1950 Douglas Blvd, Roseville

If you want good service and even better pizza, this is your place. Fresh ingredients and light, delicious crust are what you can expect from CEP. I ordered a large half and half Veggie pizza and BBQ chicken and a small Hawaiian pizza and the total came to $32, an amazing deal considering that the only other pizza place I frequent is slightly more expensive and is a national chain. This is a locally-owned family-run place and the service I received was nothing short of excellent. I was helped by a new employee on his second day on the job and he was fast, friendly and even brought our pizzas over to our table when they were ready. All three flavors were great and I appreciated the attention to detail when it came to using fresh veggies and tasty BBQ sauce. This is mostly a take-out place but there are a few tables and chairs inside where you can enjoy your hot pizza right away. I’d recommend if you are in the Roseville are or would like to try a new spot.

Olivella’s Legacy – Menu with Prices – 7300 Lone Star Dr C125, Plano

I went here with my giant puppy on Mother’s Day. My furbaby was taking me out for the holiday. How sweet is he? Hahaha. Luckily Olivella’s allows dogs on their patio. The staff member who helped me was quick to get a water bowl for my dog. It was a nice day to sit outside. I ordered the sopressata and sausage pizza, which my waiter described as a spicy pepperoni and sausage pizza. This pizza was pretty big, and definitely shareable for 2 or 3 people! The pizza was prepared Neapolitan style, which gave the pizza a nice fluffy crust on the edges and thin crust in the middle. The flavors from the sopressata and sausage were excellent. I ended up eating half of the pizza, haha. I took the rest home and the pizza was still great later that night. I ended up going another time with my coworkers, as the lunch specials looked legit. They offered pastas, sandwiches, salads, and pizzas. We shared the sopressata and sausage pizza, which was prepared more like a flatbread during the lunch hour. It was good but I wish it was prepared the previous way I had it. For myself, I ordered the fettucine alfredo with chicken, which came in somewhat of a small portion. The noodles and sauce were good, but I didn’t enjoy the chicken as it was very dry. Overall, this place is a solid place for Italian food. Being that it is at the Shops at Legacy, it is in a great location but parking can be a little tough during the lunch hour. Shoutout to the server who took care of me and my dog during our dining experience here. I’d definitely recommend the pizza here! Enjoy!

Rance’s Chicago Pizza – Menu with Prices – 1420 Baker St, Costa Mesa

One of the few Chicago style deep dish pizza joints in Orange County. Personally I’m not a fan of Chicago style pizzas as I feel there is way too much cheese. We ordered their house special and it was well balanced. The cheese didn’t overwhelm and the tomato sauce was really tasty. The crust was nice and crispy and not soggy. Over all it was a good experience. Keep in mind that these are made to order so there is quite a wait between when you order and actually get your food. Also the pizzas are deceptively filling. We ordered their pizza for two since it was just two of us and we took half home.

Pontillo’s Pizzerias – Menu with Prices – 1687 Mt Hope Ave, Rochester

How many lousy pizzas can you order, eat & throw in the garbage before you vow never to order another one? We ordered 2 pizzas Thursday evening for delivery,1 medium without cheese and a large with cheese & pepperoni. The pizzas were warm & soggy, the botton crust burnt. The large pizza had no cheese & too much sauce & oregano. The chicken wings’ skins were not crispy so I had to pop them under the broiler. Seems to be a hit & miss to get a good pizza & wings from this location! I guess it depends on who is cooking & the amount of pride exerted. I threw the 7 remaining slices down the garbage disposer.

Subway Café – Menu with Prices – 1000 Herr St, Harrisburg

Pizza Review I love being introduced to great pizza places! This is a spot I’ve driven by plenty of times but would never think to stop. A group of us went here on our work lunch and were in/out in an hour even though the tables/bar seats were full. The pizza was recommended, so we all got one. Each one is a personal pizza the size of a large dinner plate, and is more than enough for lunch. Not sure if it is, but the thin crust tastes like phyllo dough. Either way, it’s light and crispy. Everyone ordered different toppings and all were enjoyed. My one complaint is that the only sauce served has meat, so if you want vegetarian you have to order the white pizza which is served without sauce. The sauce is homemade and my coworkers said it was great.

Domino’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 6545 Gunpark Dr Ste 210, Boulder

Threw together an impromptu pizza party for work and the nice folks at Dominos sure did pull through for us! While the location opens at 10am the online ordering system does not allow orders to be placed earlier than 11am. What did I do you ask? I drove right over. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised by the renovations that have gone into place (this was previously the location of Blackjack Pizza). The space feels larger, more modern and it is wonderfully clean. The nice gents on duty helped me order enough food for a decent size group and even honored the coupon I found online (two large one topping pizzas for $19.99). We talked crusts, we talked sauces, and we talked about the Dominos App. In two shakes of a bunny tail my six pizzas were ready to go and I was now well versed with the Dominos app. As it had been a few years since my last order I updated my account to incorporate their new points system. Everyone at work was thrilled with the pizzas! I’ll definitely be back to this location for my future pizza party needs.

Blaze Pizza – Menu with Prices – 2348 Citadel Way #101, Melbourne

Blaze Pizza is much like the Chipotle of Pizza. Here you can customize your pizza to your liking. Kudos for having an option for vegans as they offer both vegan cheese & vegan chorizo. There are several signature pizzas w/ popular favorites along w/ calories listed. Probably the most popular choice here is the customizable Build Your Own Pizza. Choose your crust from original, thick crust, or cauliflower crust for gluten-free folks. Several sauces to choose from such as classic red sauce or spicy red sauce. Cheeses including vegan cheese options. etc. I opted for customizable Build Your Own Pizza w/ original crust, spicy red sauce, vegan cheese, vegan chorizo, & unlimited veggies. The toppings here hit the spot as lots of selections for those plant strong folks as the veggie toppings were plentiful, tasty, & nourishing. The pizzas are fast fired in 180 seconds in the oven. Fast, friendly service, & affordable. Found this to be one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had in a long time for the fresh veggie toppings alone. Felt the crust could have been a bit firmer. The atmosphere pretty similar to dining at a Chipotle yet the vegan pizza hit the spot. I was able to finish the whole pie as was satisfying w/ just the right amount of food. Look forward to subsequent visits here.

Arizmendi Bakery – Menu with Prices – 3265 Lakeshore Ave, Oakland

Every time I come to Ariz I love it even more! Last night was the first time I had one of the dinner pizzas–I’ve only ever had their breakfast pizza that they serve for a limited amount of time on the weekends. The staff is always so friendly, and they really know how to run a business! If you are on Lakeshore during the evening and see a bunch of pizza boxes most likely they are from Arizmendi! The pizzas change daily I believe, last night’s pizza was Kale, Roasted Garlic, White Beans, Lime Chili Oil, Mozzarella, and Parmesan…HOLY GOODNESS!! Pricing is attached in one of my photos–$23 for a whole pizza and you can buy by slice or purchase a half pizza. You can also buy them ready to eat, or bake to finish at home. If it’s a nice night, I definitely recommend taking a whole pizza to the lake which is very close. Eat amazing pizza and enjoy the amazing Lake Merritt!!

Cugino Forno Pizzeria – Menu with Prices – 1160 Revolution Mill Dr, Greensboro

Local pizza isn’t getting any better than this. I’ve never had a pizza experience quite like this one. When you first step in you are greeted by a huge open space with big communal tables. Something I enjoy personally. They don’t have different pizza sizing which would normally be kind of bothersome but it’s the perfect size for 2 people. Considering the thinner crust and fresh toppings. Yes the pizza and the atmosphere are almost perfect, but let’s take a second to discuss the real star of the show here. The Italian fruit tarte. Forget everything you thought you knew about a fruit tarte no kiwi no strawberry’s and thankfully none of that weird chocolate layer you would normally find in a tarte. This is pure heaven, let me set the stage. Flakey buttery crust on the bottom, thick but also surprisingly light sweet whipped filling, finish it off with some beautiful concoction of slightly jellied sour berries and you’re in for a real treat. You dazzled me with your pizza but I’m staying for the deserts

Covert Una Pizza – Menu with Prices – 2950 Covert Ave, Evansville

I like Covert Una Pizza. Little place, dim, just a couple guys working in there, very nice people. Seating if you want to eat in. Situated next to a liquor store (Frontier Liquors). ‘Una’ is a style of pizza down here characterized by it’s crispy, light crust. Covert is pretty good. I’m from Chicago and while there are plenty of pizza places in EVille, none compare to up north so you have to do some searching. Covert is in my top 5 for sure. I’m a fan of small neighborhood pizzerias.
