This boba shop is originated from California and after having it only twice in the Garden Grove location, I wasn’t impressed. However, after the long anticipated wait for this place to open, I gave it a shot. I came here during their soft opening on a Tuesday night. I came 30 minutes before they closed due to a friend wanting to go and luckily they weren’t busy. I tried their Peach Me Sweetea with honey boba ($4.25 for 20oz) and I was very impressed. It was a perfect amount of sweet and tea together! The Tris/Tristen (I believe that’s her name) was the cutest girl ever. She provided excellent customer service and explained the drinks very well! A couple days later, I stopped by this place again because I was in the area. I knew this place was more will known for their slushes so I tried their Peach Me Freezie with honey boba ($4.70 for 20oz) and I was just as impressed. This drink was the slush version of the Peach Me Sweetea so it was amazing! I also ordered their Shrimp On It with mild sauce ($6.25)! I was actually surprised how big the shrimps were. I believe there was a total of 8-10 shrimp pieces in the box they give you which is a fair amount for the price. Gina, their district manager was in town for the week and she provided great quality service. I wasn’t sure about the Watermelon Sensation drink but I was curious about it because it was a seasonal drink only. She was kind enough to let me switch out my drink and to let me try it! The drink to me was definitely refreshing and I can see why a lot of people like this one. She was also very nice and had a conversation with me as she acknowledged me as a customer. Overall the store is great! They did a great job for customer service, very fast, and they keep the place very clean! It’s on the smaller side so the seats are very limited but not a big deal to me. The franchise owners Dean and David are nice guys as well. The second time I came in, Dean sat down with me and had a conversation with me about place and he was very humble about his experience. I started coming here a couple more times after their Grand Opening. It started becoming very popular and busy! People from east side such as Gilbert, Chandler, and etc are making the effort to drive all the way down here just to try the boba place! Definitely keep it up!

Tastea Frisco – Menu with Prices – 6363 Dallas Pkwy, Frisco

Super duper busy on opening day even though it was rainy! I missed the free drink by 2 people in front of me which was sad but got to take advantage of the BOGO free. I got peach me sunshine and sunset peach. They were both very good and pretty refreshing! I thought that the honey boba was really cool because it is green here. When I got my drink, I thought it was wrong but they said that was the honey boba and their signature color for them was green. Interesting but also werid haha. I am not the biggest person on boba but wanted to try out their honey boba that day. The Boba was very good and chewy but it did get a little hard as I was drinking it ( i drank half then got busy and came back an hour later) and I beleive really good boba shouldn’t do that? I didnt get ice in my tea because it was cold out and so the boba was nice and soft but after a while, I guess my drink got cold and it did that. Not sure if this means much to anyone but I beleive big boba drinkers might not like this? The location it self is very small with a couple (5ish?) tables. And the location is kind of werid. Theres not much around there but it’s very close to frisco high school. It is a little out of the way for me to come here so I might not be here too often but the teas are pretty good. It is also a bit pricey compared to other places. My tea was 4.50 each and extra for the boba coming out to be about a little under 6 dollars. I think for a tea it’s pricy but since they had the bogo it wasn’t too bad. Definitely worth a try though! Especially if you are new to frisco area and as you get thirsty as you explore what Frisco has to offer.

It’s Boba Time – Menu with Prices – 136 S Brand Blvd, Glendale

We were craving boba and happened to be in the area we decided to stop by Boba Time for a couple drinks. The line was extremely long but we decided to wait it out. We ordered the Strawberry Matcha & Mango Peach Smoothie. My Strawberry Matcha drink wasn’t good, it tasted very watered down, not sweet enough, and barely had any strawberry flavor once it was all mixed together. Definitely not comparable to Boba Guys’ Strawberry Matcha Latte if you’ve ever had it. I would say the boba helped add sweetness to the drink, otherwise it would’ve been very bland and not much of a pleasure to drink. I would probably try a different drink next time if I was in the area and wanted boba again. The Mango Peach Smoothie tasted like your average Mango Peach Smoothie at other boba spots. Nothing too special about it but it tasted way better than the Strawberry Matcha.

Sharetea Riverside – Menu with Prices – 10920 Magnolia Ave #103, Riverside

The Most Consistent Boba, Friendly Staff, Clean Place I am new to Riverside and have only been here for a few months. I moved here from OC where there are tons of good boba places and was looking for a good boba spot in Riverside, thank God I came across this place! The first time I came to Sharetea, I tried their Matcha w/ fresh milk with boba. It did not disappoint. Their matcha was good quality and mixed in well throughout the drink. Boba was the perfect consistency, not too firm or soft, with a good amount of sweetness. I also love how you can customize the amount of sweetness (and ice) in each drink! I could not just visit this place once, came here for three consecutive days! Staff is friendly and answers my questions if I want to try something new. (I tried their milk tea which is also great, but my favorite is matcha.) What’s the most impressive is that each and every time, their boba was so consistent! They have got their boba making skills down to a science. You can tell it’s calculated. They make it with just the right amount of sweetness and cook it for just the right amount of time on the daily, even when it’s different staff working. Taste is always consistent. Look no further for the perfect boba spot! Definitely, recommend! If you enjoy this place and will be going often, do get a stamp card though. I did not find this out until my fourth visit!!!! Lol.

TNL Boba Tea – Menu with Prices – 3829 Plaza Dr Suite 605, Oceanside

I’ve actually gone to this boba place several times when it first opened years ago. My mom and I were very frequent purchasers and the staff ended up knowing my order every time. That’s a plus on customer service. They are a very sweet family, so please be patient with them. Years ago, they were just getting the hand of the amount of orders they received, which is why older reviews state that they might be a little slow; however, after lots of practice, they’re getting drinks out super fast. 5/5 for customer service, they care about their customers and friendly to newcomers It’s been a while now but they have completely improved their drink operation. From generic cups with a logo sticker placed on it to using printed circular cups with an automated machine to place the film on top of the boba, I believe they’re doing well in the case of self-improvement for their brand. Drink quality has improved and I’m happy about the selection of toppings I could get. Years ago, the tapioca was a hit or miss on chewiness but now, I believe they nailed it. My favorite is the honey boba because they make it fresh and it’s soft enough. I originally ordered the regular sized Royal Milk Tea with boba which is under $5. Please note that if you’re using CARD, you’ll be charged a fee if the entire order is under $5. Thankfully, I was told this before I inserted my card, and the employee suggested I get a larger size to reach $5. I was fine with that it was only a few cents for the larger size. It’s a family business and merchant fees get expensive for them. I have no idea if they can find a way around this issue, but I know people might rate them lower because of this. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here after a couple of years. It’s a good boba fix if you’re in North County SD. Please note that this place is CLOSED on Mondays!

Molly Ramen?Poke?Tea – Menu with Prices – 869 Lynnhaven Pkwy #109, Virginia Beach

This location had $1.99 Milk Tea specials on Wednesdays so this was an opportunity to try it out. When you walk in, you place your order on a tablet. It’s very user friendly and it allows you to customize your order. I was with my family that included kids so we customized their drinks to no sugar for them. Since we knew it was going to take a while to get our order, we played some board games in the waiting area that was provided. The restaurant is spacious and clean. They offer poke bowls where you can see the toppings you want through the glass (think of Subways) as well as Ramen bowls. I noticed it was one guy making the drinks as well helping customers at the counter. They seemed to be understaffed but hey we are chilling so really no rush. Finally our drinks are ready! Sooo…. this is where it went downhill. Our drinks were all mixed up! The label that said NO sugar definitely had it. The label with the taro drink had the mocha drink in it and etc. The boba amount was very stingy that one of the drinks had literally 5 boba pieces in it. Because my 2 year old niece don’t need any sugar as requested, we asked if they can remake it because it was too sweet. Even at their mistake they made us pay for a new drink. The guy was going to remake it for free but the other staff lady maybe the “owner” said something in their language and said we would need to pay…sheeesh horrible customer service at its finest! At $1.99 that is what it’s really worth. It tasted like flavored milk, no strong tea notes, bubbles were a little too hard, and just overall not good so I’m glad we didn’t pay the full amount. My sister went back the next week with her kids and their friends and the Wednesday special is now $2.99, maybe due their popularity. But since kids don’t know any better on quality and taste, it’s a cheaper way to get them boba teas.

Chatime Fullerton – Menu with Prices – 410 E Chapman Ave Suite B, Fullerton

Wow! I am impressed! I had heard of this place once before and I remember ordering a boba here while I was in Sydney a year ago. I was excited to find out that another one opened up that was a lot closer than the other location. (The one in Rowland Heights is pretty far from where I live) I will say one thing though: it was pretty complicated how to get into the parking lot and we ended up parking at a neighborhood and walking to the place. I understand though that the location, being next to homes and a university, would make it harder to make an easy entrance to the parking lot. Anyways, I ordered the taro milk tea with cheese foam and boba and I really liked the cups they put the drink in! Similar to Jie Boba or BobaTEAque. My first sip was very tasty, but I made the terrible mistake of getting cheese foam with the taro. I decided to mix it up and it tasted pretty horrible after that. I do not recommend getting the taro milk tea with cheese foam… The drink wasn’t too sweet and the boba was just right. Not too overcooked (not too soft), and not too undercooked (not too hard). Next time, I will be sure to order any of the drinks WITHOUT cheese foam. But overall, the drink was great at the start, the service was great, and the employees were nice.

White And Brown Cafe – Menu with Prices – 603 S Mariposa Ave, Los Angeles

I am seeing more and more boba shops opening in Koreatown! It used to be all just cafes and boba time here and there but now you can find Taiwanese boba shops easily in Koreatown. Obviously I didnt know about this place until my friend told me. We wanted to go somewhere new and quiet with not very many people. White and Brown was perfect for our tea time after dinner. Its definitely a small size cafe but more spacious than Tan-Cha nearby. I think I saw about 6 tables that can seat 4 persons per table. Bar area is very neat and nice with the marble counter top. Just like many other boba shops nowadays, you can find all those ‘cheese foam’ drinks here too. They have a lot of tea options and also milky options as well. I was really happy that they had Grapefruit Jasmine Green Tea (GJGT) here too. Price is very acceptable knowing that you also do not have to worry about valet parking. My drink and friends’ drink was both very good. My friend got a White Peach Oolong Tea with Cheese Foam and she enjoyed it very much even though shes NOT a tea fanatic like me. My GJGT waa pretty icy and similar to Grapefruit Slush from Tan-Cha but I prefer theirs more. I think it was definitely worth getting and I would get it again. Staff works hard and are friendly but they do not speak English very well and have very hard accent which was a bit hard to understand when ordering. Other than that, everything was great! I will definitely come back.

Boba Fiend Tea House – Menu with Prices – 2262 Griffin Way, Corona

This was the only boba place we came across Riverside area as we were craving cold drinks on a hot day. This is the first boba place I have been to that serves 3 different cup sizes. They have like (small), love (medium), and fiend (large). Almost all the drinks are available in any size. The cups are wider and not tall and thin, which you get more servings than most regular drink sizes. They have specials I have not seen in any other boba spots and they were all delicious. The drinks are well blended and there are no chunks of ice cubes in the bottom of the drink from not being blended enough. The slush is more on the watery/liquid texture – which is great as you can really taste the fruit flavors. The flavors are there and the boba’s are soft, not chewy. We came in with a big order 8 drinks total and they all got it correct. They have a lot of employees working, so the long lines are always moving. The wait time is quick – we waited less than 5 minutes for all 8 drinks. They do sell small appetizer foods, but those are not always available. There are no menu boards hanging, the menus are paper laminated and they only have a few so you have to wait when one is available. They have plenty of seating: couches and tables along with TV’s. This is a small store hidden in a plaza that is not busy. You can easily miss it unless you drive into the plaza and see the sign. This place also has great customer service, I saw a lady complain about her drink that it was not made well and the workers gladly made her a new drink with no charge.

Fusion Tea Lounge – Menu with Prices – 1806 E Southern Ave, Tempe

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out after I read my friend Joyce’s review and I was excited when I saw the picture of the Sesame Balls because it’s my childhood snack that my mom used to buy for me back home when I was little. The place is clean and spacious but you have to order the food at the counter, not on the table. The employees are so friendly and nice! We ordered Finger Lickers, Rolling Avo, DC Ramlet Battered Wings, Sesame Balls, Mango boba tea and my bf did ask if they could mix the flavor, and he asked for Mango&Peach boba tea. – Finger Lickers, this is so good! They gave us sweet & sour sauce and I enjoyed every bite of this popcorn chicken, so delicious! – Rolling Avo, they also gave a special sauce for this. I don’t know how to feel about this one, I don’t hate it but I don’t like it lol, it’s basically what it says, avocados in tortilla and they fried it. But my bf enjoyed it though. – DC Ramlet Battered Wings, the batter is absolutely delicious but when I went in to the meat part, it was bland. They have to find a way to marinate/seasoned the wings and it’d be a perfect menu! I keep saying this, everyone has different taste buds, and to me, I love it when the chicken has some flavor to it as well, not just the outside part, I hope it makes sense! But we ate this with ranch so it was still good! – Sesame Balls. Oh hello, childhood. The only difference is, back home we use Mung Bean filling instead of black sesame filling. I still love it regardless! – Mango boba tea. Say no more, LOVE IT!!! – Mango & Peach boba tea. My bf tried it and he said it’s weird that it tasted more like Coconut instead of mango or peach. He didn’t want to bother them so he didn’t say a thing. And before we left, the guy asked us how was everything? Did you guys enjoy it? We finally told him about this drink, my bf didn’t lie because I tried it as well and I could also taste coconut and he made another one for us! And the new one, it tasted definitely a combination of mango & peach, thank you so much! We really appreciate it! I can see myself coming back for the finger lickers and their boba tea so yes, until next time!

The Brickyard Downtown – Menu with Prices – 85 W Boston St, Chandler

The Brickyard is a excellent place with great atmosphere. My wife and I go on date night once every two weeks. I wanted to come check out this place for sometime and I was impressed as all hell. I look for a couple of things in a location such as food quality versus price, atmosphere, experience and customer service. The first thing my wife and I noticed was how the location was ideal for any age. I absolutely love the brick wall and how the bar was ideally built and styled. Whoever designed the restaurant is a classy genius. The hostess was very nice and straight forward with the wait time, hey it was busy and packed. So, my wife and I sat at the bar and in no time a table opened up. So we were asked if we wanted a high table or normal sized one. Of course I choose the high table. The only downfall I have of this fine establishment is I wish the hostess explained the high table she was going to seat us at, because it was a mere 14 inches from another couple. I swear I could here the person next to me breathing at the other table we were so close. I was surprised by how close we were to the next couple. In the midst of conversation with my wife I kept on losing myself in the conversation the couple was in 14 inches away from me. Man I could have totally man spread and touch knees with the guy next to me. Any way, I lol get off the topic of being 14 inches away from the next table. The customer service was great! I liked Christopher he was very happy and joked with us and he gave us great advice of the type of food to get! He was not overbearing, however he was on top of his game. This man deserves a raise!!!. The food was excellent and fresh. The decor was phenomenal and artsy. The chef must be given a hand shake from me!(Patrick). I appreciate people that put love in what they do and this person does put their heart and soul in their craft, I applaud you fine people in back. This is going to be a saved location in my vehicle. We will be back sooner than later Brickyard!!!! I have a new place to call our date night spot! I will recommend this place to my coworkers and be back with friends as well. Great work people I give. 4/5 star review! I early give a 5/5, because I do not like to dilute my ratings.

Tapioca Express – Menu with Prices – 1480 Eastlake Pkwy Ste.903, Chula Vista

3 stars because I have high expectations from tapioca express. I love my thai tea with boba. I had a craving for a cup last night but the usual tapioca express I go to was closed. So with the help of Google I found this one. Filled with relief and joy I gladly drove the 16 minutes to this restaurant. I ordered my usual drink. Except this drink did not taste like the drink I desired. It tasted like heavy cream or condensation milk. I couldn’t taste the black tea.I understand the aspects of milk tea but it was to much milk…. To top it off the boba was hard and unfresh as if they were left out to dry and the effort to salvage them was useless. Overall the customer service was great the atmosphere was nice too. I just wont visit this place again at 10pm. Lesson learned

Sharetea Fullerton – Menu with Prices – 2445 E Chapman Ave, Fullerton

I’m rather picky with my teas and milk teas, but when I’m craving a drink, Sharetea is one of the top choices on my list. The quality and service is amazing. I also love how they are consistent. Of the many times I have gone, only once did an order taste different than usual, but all other times I’ve gone, the drinks almost always taste the same, which I love. Lots of other places can be very inconsistent, so even if you order the same drink every time, you’ll be surprised every time. Not Sharetea — if you have drink favorites, you will know what you’re getting 98% of the time (in my experience). No funky tastes, weird sweetness levels, inconsistent ratios and tastes, etc. This place is located in a plaza relatively close to CSUF and Troy H.S., so this place (especially towards the evening) is always swarming with students. Parking can be a bit difficult when it’sa busier time since the lot is shared with other businesses. As for the store itself, it’s pretty small, a few spots for 2 people, one larger table for 4, a small bar-like table towards the back, and a couple seats against the wall where people wait for drinks. If you’re looking for a place to sit and study, this isn’t the best spot to do so, it can get quite noisy. During peak hours, the line is always out the door, BUT the service is pretty quick! It’s amazing how quickly they make the drinks despite the amount of orders. For drinks, I have a set list of drinks I get when I go here: -Strawberry black tea (80% or 50% sweetness) -Mango green tea (80% sweetness) -Mango milk tea (80% sweetness) -QQ Happy Family Milk Tea (80% or 50% sweetness) These never fail me and I just switch drinks depending on my mood. I love that with their milk teas, it isn’t overly milky or an overload of tea. The ratio is really good. I believe they use non-dairy milk (not powder, woohoo!) for their milk teas, but it’s best to ask in case. For their fruit teas, I always love how refreshing they are and aren’t head achingly sweet. The boba pearls are also great, not overly mushy/soft and also not super hard. I think I’ve only gotten a couple drinks where the boba was too hard, but very few times. It has been solid all the other times. Prices aren’t that bad! It’s about $5, give or take depending on what drink and the toppings. Their drinks all come in one size so the price does justify the amount you’re getting. Overall, Sharetea has great drinks that are consistent, with great quality and service! They also have stamp cards, so make sure to grab one if you’re a frequent boba drinker!
